Deception!!! I purchased a tour on the morning of May 29th and was at the designated pick-up point half an hour beforehand. We were not picked up and had to wait there for a full two hours. The tour guide only called once and asked for my email address. I was only able to speak to him once. I told him I was at the pick-up point and waiting there. After that, I couldn't reach him again. Full of frustration I was using getyourguide in european countries and it was accurately working. However, during my trip to Nepal, i umderstood that it was purely because of the quality of the suppliers. Refund The event was originally scheduled for 7:30 PM. Around 3:30 PM, we received a WhatsApp message saying that we should meet in front of Polaroid at 6:00 PM. This message was one-way only, with no possibility to reply or ask questions. No explanation was given as to why the event time was suddenly moved forward by 1.5 hours. We arrived at the Polaroid location at the stated time. After waiting 15–20 minutes, we were informed that the vehicle had broken down and were told, “We’ll be there in half an hour, don’t worry.” To make matters worse, we were then told—almost mockingly—“Please find a warm place to stay.” This was completely unacceptable. There was no indoor place to enter, sit, or wait, and about 10–15 people were left standing outside in −15°C temperatures. After waiting for approximately one and a half hours in freezing conditions, we finally received a message saying that the event was cancelled. This entire experience was a total disgrace: extremely poor communication, no respect for participants’ time or safety, no contingency planning, and a completely dismissive attitude toward customers. On top of all this, the event was cancelled and our payment has still not been refunded. At this point, it is not even clear whether a refund will be issued at all.
