Wo man sich nicht sicher ist ob es sich lohnt die große Kamera rauszuholen und das Stativ aufzustellen. Einfach und übersichtlich mit vielen Film Simulationen. Super um Kompositionen auszuprobieren. Auch als Ergänzung zur digitalen Fotografie. Was noch ergänzt werden sollte: 1. Die Auswahl an Film Simulationen. 2. Die Option in RAW zu fotografieren. 3. Wenn man viele verschiedene Brennweiten (8-560mm) nutzt, wäre es super wenn die App automatisch zwischen allen drei Kameras (von zb iPhone 11 pro) wechseln würde. Den Dual Modus gibt es ja schon. Dabei wird aber nur zwischen Weitwinkel und Standard gewechselt. Sobald man aber über zb 50mm ist sieht man dem Standard Objektiv deutlich an dass es nicht mehr so gut auflöst. Wenn man dann im Menü das Telephoto auswählt sieht man direkt einen Unterschied. Aber jedes Mal ins Menü gehen, nur wenn man mal 50, 100 oder gar 200mm auswählt… ist mir zu aufwendig bzw. vergisst man einfach. Denn, ich persönlich nutze diese App eben auch um einfach Bilder zu machen. Und diese sollten so hochauflösend wie möglich sein. Also kurz gesagt: Triple Camera Modus!

Nutze, dieser App, fast jeden Tag. Große Erleichterung in Analog/alternative Fotografie. Bitte nicht aufgeben!

Great app, especially for photographers who use different film and/or sensor formats and focal lengths. Feature rich app, yet not overladen. Virtually indispensable for large format photographers. Very useful for teaching, learning, and practical photography in the field. Typical use cases: - Previsualize a scene like it would be pictured with a small/ medium/ large format camera with focal lenghts of your choice. - Check standard film/ sensor formats plus user-defined presets, crops and aspect ratios. - Choose best viewpoint with the help of your mobile, without lugging around a heavy tripod plus camera. - Take and save preview pictures for revisiting a location with different equipment at a later date. - Preview various film emulations (especially helpful for prejudging impact of b/w analog photography or digital b/w conversions). - Light meter (global and semi-spot) with histogram to guide use of meterless cameras in difficult lighting situations. - Current version (1.5 at the time of writing) stable and performs well, even with older iPhone models.

Thanks for this great and affordable app. Unfortunately, the wide angle lens of the newer iphone models cant be utilised which is a big factor. Also it crashes when trying to swipe through saved photos

The only minor things that I did not like about this app was that the UI could be more iOS-like in some places (e. g. the menu button and list views) and that you cannot restrict its access to a specific folder of your photo-library properly, — which looks like a bug to me…

My new best companion for location scouting and when my analog cameras are not with me. Incredible useful and flexible. I didnt know what i missed until i found it. A simulation of b/w filters would make it perfect. Great work!

Very good app, I use a large format camera (4x5) and am very pleased with the convenience of framing it in advance. The light meter is so precise that I don’t bother to take out the spot meter Minolta anymore… 5 stars!

Well thought through and reliable. The option to simulate different films is terrific, especially when you're shooting black and white.

I use the app as a regular camera app. I take better pictures with Viewfinder and Portra 800 than with the standard app.

I love That one has the Option to choose a film stock for preview. But why has Ilford hp5 More contrast than triX in the preview?

In full format, 35 mm exists as the smallest focal length. At least 24 mm and 28 mm should be available in the wide angle. The iPhone camera would allow even more wide angles. 85, 105 and 135 are also missing. In medium format (6x45) 80 mm is missing, which is very common. Medium format 6x7 is completely missing. An aperture can be set, but it doesn't give a preview of a possible depth of field, which would be feasible with the iPhone's portrait mode. Selected focal lengths also give no indication of possible compression or distortions at the picture's edge. Technically this would also be possible.
