Über die App Solar Snap (Rise Up Games)

Everything you need for the next solar eclipse, all in one app! Introducing Solar Snap: a camera filter + app combo that can help you take amazing photos of the sun, whether there’s an eclipse, or any other day. Simply attach the filter to your phone, open Solar Snap, and snap away! Solar Snap also includes an interactive, offline global solar eclipse simulator, with detailed information and times to prepare you for the next eclipse, no matter where you are, where you are going, even if you don't have a signal!

Solar Snap can be used with our Solar Snap filter kit available at: https://www.eclipseglasses.com/products/solar-snap-the-eclipse-app. This filter protects your phone camera from damage by the bright sun. You may optionally re-use old eclipse glasses by cutting a pair in half and taping it over your camera lens. Video instructions by Astronomer Doug Duncan included in the app.

Total solar eclipses are crossing Europe and the Middle East in 2026 and 2027. Get ready!

Welcome to Solar Snap 2.0! We've completely redesigned Solar Snap in preparation for the August 12, 2026 total solar eclipse and couldn't be more excited! Here's what's new:

- Complete redesign with an improved layout and more accessible controls
- New: In-camera Eclipse Companion automatically displays realtime eclipse information at the top of the viewfinder. It's like having a real life astronomer by your side!
- New: Fully interactive offline eclipse map running a global eclipse simulation, with detailed information to prepare you for the next eclipse, no matter where you are, even if you don't have a signal!
- Expanded tutorial now includes videos showing how to build a camera filter, and how to practice at home

Wie kündige ich das Abo von Solar Snap?

Öffne die Einstellungen auf deinem iPhone oder iPad, tippe oben auf deine Apple-ID (deinen Namen), gehe zu Abonnements, wähle Solar Snap aus der Liste und tippe auf Abo kündigen. Die Kündigung wird zum Ende des laufenden Abrechnungszeitraums wirksam; du kannst die App bis dahin weiter nutzen. Wie lösche ich die App Solar Snap?
