AeroWeather Pro provides quick and intuitive access to METAR and TAF for airports worldwide. Data can be shown in its original (raw) format or as fully decoded and easy understandable texts. AeroWeather Pro is helpful for weather preflight-briefings, but also to just get very precise weather. All weather data is cached for offline access.
The app features a built-in airport database, which includes airport data like runways, sunrise/sunset, twilight times, moon times, timezones etc.
METAR alert notifications** is another new and helpful feature to stay up-to-date. Define multiple alerts for each station with criteria like: flight rule (US NOAA), wind speed, temperature, pressure, present weather, visibility etc. Notifications will be sent to your device if the criteria is met (e.g., when flight rule becomes IFR).
Dedicated METAR/TAF** access is optionally available. METAR/TAF data will come primarily from a certified ANSP (air navigation service provider) and is provided reliably and fast from our dedicated, redundant servers (indicated by blue checkmark underneath METAR/TAF).
The AeroPix feature offers users the possibility to take quickly picture(s) of the weather at their current location.
AeroWeather Pro comes with an Apple Watch app, which shows either a list of stations as defined in the Apple Watch group or all nearby stations based on the current location. METAR and TAF are displayed for each station. In addition, you can put AeroWeather as a complication in your watch face to stay up-to-date.

Additional features which generate recurring operation costs for us will be offered within a subscription. The following features are enabled while 'First' subscription is active:

- D-ATIS (bigger US airports only)
- Area Forecast Discussions (currently US only)
- RVR data (US and Germany only)
- Home Screen Widgets for METAR, Plot, Meteogram

- SIGMETs (requires 'Captain' subscription)
Additional features are also enabled when using AeroWeather Lite.
The subscription varies in time periods (1 month, 12 months). The subscription is valid in both AeroWeather Lite and Pro. Cross app subscription support is only available if iCloud (with the same Apple ID) is enabled. Previously purchased unlock features are not affected and will work with or without subscription.
Auto-renewal may be turned off at any time by going to your account settings. A payment will be charged to your iTunes account at the end of the free trial period. Your iTunes account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. No commitment - you can cancel any time.

¿Cómo cancelo la suscripción de AeroWeather Pro?
Abre Ajustes en tu iPhone o iPad, toca tu Apple ID (tu nombre) en la parte superior, entra en Suscripciones, selecciona AeroWeather Pro en la lista y pulsa Cancelar suscripción. La cancelación se hace efectiva al final del periodo de facturación en curso; puedes seguir usando la app hasta que termine. ¿Cómo elimino la aplicación AeroWeather Pro?
Mantén pulsado el icono de AeroWeather Pro en la pantalla de inicio, elige Eliminar app y después Borrar app. Importante: si tienes una suscripción activa, no se cancela automáticamente al eliminar la app; primero debes cancelar la suscripción con los pasos anteriores.

GREAT APP!! But unable to copy and paste any metar from the history, apart from the current one. It woul be great to do it, sometimes extreme weather conditions make us save metars... ☺️. Thanks in advance.

App has a lot of room for improvement. Press on runways and show me what type of pavement it has, tell me which IAPs each runway has, like other apps have for years. Still no live weather radar feed for Europe, let alone a WxR forecast. NOTAM section is good but allow me to filter specific keywords (crane, stand, obstruction. Give me an option to include ALL airports in Map view (preferably with an option to select to show airports filtering by Rwy size ie only >1800m) and let me press on them to then show a more compact BOTH metar AND TAF so I can look for alternates more easily and not just limited to my own list and to metars which are mostly useless. Maybe add an option to Shortlist. In that same Map view give an option to overlay SigWx and WxR. Long press functionality is there but could be expanded. Show me VOLMET stations for airports I browse, ATIS frequency for when in flight. Lots of room to improve and make this a true daily user Id be glad to pay for. Airline Cptn
The app is great, but even with the captain subscription the widgets arent working properly. They fail to update.
I have tried downloading aeroweather pro and paid for it but while downloading it keeps failing at 80% and doesn’t download. Any idea why and anyone else had this happen? Contacting apple support now.
Todo genial, pero en el Apple Watch no hay forma de que funcione. Además es complicado configurar su funcionamiento para el Apple Watch. Espero que en un futuro lo arreglen.

Pro version doesn't worth it. If you want to receive alerts you have to subscribe anyway. I regret upgrading
It’s not working
Un desastre. No se actualiza la información en el widget. Continuamente hay que abrir la app y tirar para actualizar. Error “La carga falló” una vez tras otra.
