À propos de l'application BlendZ (Darren Alexander)

Creativity frequently begins with a brilliant thought, rapidly followed by the frantic scribblings of pencil on paper, often accompanied by thumping's on a calculator. This is where BlendZ began.

I wrote BlendZ to save me time working-out and re-calculating the math for large, widescreen, overlapping (blending) projectors, to make up screens larger than a single projector's image. If you need to work out the math for a wide screen projection surface using multiple projectors BlendZ is for you.

To begin all you need to know is the desired width and height of the projection surface, the native chip resolution of the projectors (or output resolution of the source device) you are planning to use, and the number of projectors you think you need. Then, BlendZ will give you all the information you need. BlendZ works in both Feet and Metres, just choose your preferred flavour of measurement and off you go.

Originally this application was written for the Mac and PC as a tool for the Project Managers of Creative Technology (www.ctinternational.com) and now I have released a mobile version for the iOS. Like the desktop version this will draw out the Grids,full with 8 or 16 step Grey-scale (horizontally or vertically) for ease of line up and if needed send out an information sheet as a PDF.

Currently BlendZ only works out the stuff for a single row or column of projectors, at some point in the near future I plan to expand it to calculate projection arrays.

I now dynamically check if your device is able to draw the grids, if it can it will if it can't well then you will need to grab the desktop version.
I also now share the files rather than emailing them - as I used to only check that you had the default iOS Mail set up, if you did you could email if you didn't then you were unable to, now it doesn't matter BUT if you see the button saying Share / Email then holding the button down will bring up the email dialogue so that you can email it, I still only check for the default Mail app to be set up, but at least you can share it.

Comment annuler l'abonnement à BlendZ ?

Ouvrez Réglages sur votre iPhone ou iPad, touchez votre identifiant Apple (votre nom) en haut, allez dans Abonnements, sélectionnez BlendZ dans la liste et appuyez sur Annuler l'abonnement. L'annulation prend effet à la fin de la période de facturation en cours ; vous pouvez continuer à utiliser l'application jusque-là. Consultez la page officielle d'Apple sur la gestion des abonnements pour plus de détails.

Comment supprimer l'application BlendZ ?

Maintenez appuyé l'icône de BlendZ sur l'écran d'accueil, choisissez Supprimer l'app puis Supprimer. Important : si vous avez un abonnement actif, il n'est pas annulé automatiquement lorsque vous supprimez l'app ; vous devez d'abord annuler l'abonnement en suivant les étapes ci-dessus.
