A Better Routeplanner (ABRP) App positive kommentarer og anmeldelser

Gustav Just genious. Gmdahl Versjon: 6.0.2

Quite happy about it I'm quite happy with the app. It works quite well and the estimate is quite good. Only thing is in apple car play when I go to the home screen with the music player and calender ABRP does not show in a small window but waze does even though I haven't been using waze. Zoltax Versjon: 4.7.5

Something wrong with the last update? Excellent app, but since the last update it will not work.. Haakotho Versjon: 4.0.55

A Better Routeplanner (ABRP) App negative kommentarer og anmeldelser

Poor user experience This app has some good functionality behind it, but unfortunately this is drowned by a really poor user experience - of which the worse part is the incredibly clunky, odd user interface and awkward user-flows. It’s also unresponsive at times, and the maps are difficult to read. Not really a better route planner, I’m afraid - but a rather mediocre one.. RAMM-NO Version: 4.0.46

Full of bugs I dont understand how it can be so hard to make an app with some information about the chargers. You should be able to see how many that is available/free, able to pick charger on a route etc. chrashes all the time.. Kattenavnnik Version: 4.1.6

App freez, cant be used anymore After I upgraded to premium app freezes and cant be used anymore. Tried to reinstall, no difference. Have to stop premium subscription. Kalletalle Version: 4.7.9

Not worth the money, yet Seems to work on my phone, but crashes on Apple Watch and Apple CarPlay. I will have to cancel my subscription if not fixed before summer holidays.. Cjj67 Version: 4.0.44

Was so good, became so useless. I used to plan my trips with ABRP all the time, now it's a waste of time to even open the app. It picks the strangest roads, miscalculates usage and remaining percentages at arrival and demands user payment for just about anything. There must be 100 apps better that this nowadays.. JardarK Version: 4.6.4

Apple CarPlay is an ABRP Premium Feature You cannot connect to your car to test if this even works without purchasing an expensive subscription. For that reason alone, I will not buy a subscription. Edit: the developer responded to suggest that you can use the app with CarPlay without having Premium and that is not true. Update 12.2022: I bought a Polestar 2 and installed the app in the car. Seemed to work great until I actually tried to use it for a road trip. The app would forget to track the route and would suddenly reroute me to a totally different charging stop. Ended up using Google Maps because this is just not in any way usable. Don’t expect me to pay €50 for this. Edit: I bought a Polestar 2 and tried to use this for a road trip. It is totally unusable. Constantly stops tracking your position and/or randomly updates which chargers your trying to head to. Resorted to using Google Maps manually and managed just fine. Not worth a single Euro, let alone an annual subscription.. I5kai Version: 4.3.3

Lots of potential, but not quite there yet This app would be absolutely awesome if it wasn’t so slow and buggy. The user experience is very poor due to the slow response time, it is almost as if the app was built using Shockwave Flash... Not only is the reaction time slow, but the app also freezes often. I would gladly pay for this app if it was less buggy and more smooth.. Mrwombat Version: 4.0.45

Good idea, poorly executed The idea of having a dedicated BEV route planner is excellent, but the experience is quite horrible. After overcoming the hurdles of creating my plan, I had to purchase a subscription to activate CarPlay. When I hit the road, it became obvious that the planner had overshot the range of my car, so I tried to update my plan accordingly, but the app recalculated the entire route. When I tried again after stopping for my first charge, I was told then plan could no longer be used. What the hey? So I fell back to Apple Maps and Plugsurfing. Manual work, but I got to where I was going. Using A Bad RoutePlanner, I would still be stuck somewhere on the Swedish coastline.. +Holraven+ Version: 4.4.3

No ferry support in norway? It doesn’t route to any ferry’s in Norway.. Joppehoppe Version: 4.0.10

Fungerer ikke Står bar å laster når en prøver å legge rute …. Prøvde 5-6 ganger før jeg slettet appen.. Killerdmc Version: 4.2.9

Google products... Another app that uses Google products... NO thanks!. I am NOT a Product Version: 4.0.16

The best and the worst It’s the best route planner around, loved it last summer. This year, the app is constantly locking up and is so sluggish it’s a nightmare to navigate the menus. Phone gets very hot. iPhone 11 Pro Max. Will up to 5 star when these issues get fixed. :). TeddyTerror Version: 4.0.43

Unusable Horrible responsiveness of the UI, pretty much non usable navigation feature. And in general UI is just garbage. The only feature which works is planning, everything else (including the app itself) is just garbage. I have tried to give it a couple of chances but it keeps to disappoint me again and again. Purchased premium twice and both times regreted it. App freezes, works super slow all the time. Especially when connected to Apple CarPlay.. Hawk9476 Version: 4.2.8

Better before This is full of bugs and is now useless on my iPad. Freezes so that you can’t go back or add any changes. Haven’t used it for a long time but it used to work great for my VW e-golf now it’s useless for my Ford Mach-e.. RoyBuff Version: 4.0.44

Does not work Lots of bugs on my two platforms. Turns itself off. User registration doesn’t work either. Waste of time.. Kaunda 2 Version: 4.0.1

User experience It is a bit annoying to use, view changes in zoom level either to large or too small, in addition not all superchargers are visible.. Kubiskisk Version: 4.1.11

Bugs, bugs, bugs.... All the bugs render this app useless for its purpose, even the Premium version. Not even a slight chance that I’ll pay for this!. Jånnnnny Version: 4.0.13

Badass Omg... Would u guys even try?!. Eskilw Version: 4.0.13

The best functionality, but worst performance The functionality is very good and the app creates the best routes if they’re calculated on computer/ browser. Although it’s impossible to use the app on phone. It constantly keeps locking and the phone gets really hot. It does not keep track of my location without restarting the app so the usability is super low while actually being in a trip. Luckily I brought a computer, so I can re-calculate the trip😅 Also the user interface is not the best and could be more intuitive and responsive.. (might have something to do with the app locking constantly) Fix it and you’ve created the most useful trip-planner tool for EV-car owners.. Skvernland Version: 4.0.44

I was expecting something stable Unfortunately v 4 crashes easily. Long Ppess on a charger to exlude for example Ionity. Boom! Chrash. Strange interface, difficult to read out charger networks (how close must you zoom in). Feels like great potential, but lack of good user interface research and stable code.. Ularula Version: 4.0.46

Very buggy and weak user design After using ABRP for 4000 km driving through Europe this summer, the conclusion is that it is the worst of my navigation apps. Even though I have to pay for it to be functional as a navigation app, it seems like a bad open source project. It is extremely buggy and freezing all the time. It loses GPS permission from the OS which means you must approve it again. The user design is just flat out idiotic at parts. One example is in the CarPlay mode, where the button Back in map mode simply clears the route. It is cumbersome to set up a route, variables are mixed with settings and things like manually adjusting SOC is hidden in a labyrinth of UI. Setting it from CarPlay is deep in settings, only adjustable in increments of +\- 1 and 5, only one adjustment at the time before having to re-enter the SOC menu and you must manually calculate it as it is not shown. I’m going ask for my money back from this company because this is not acce was. Paal Version: 5.0.6

Needs bug squashing This app is riddled with bugs. If they get rid of them, this app could be the best one in its spectrum.. Ray.Godjord Version: 4.0.12

Excellent routes, but too many errors in the interface ABRP has perhaps the most comprehensive registry of EV charging points available in the market today. It generally creates good routes, but it is sometimes less up-to-date about road closures than other major mapping services. Its Apple Car Play interface, which you refer to while driving, has some of the best interface detailing available. However, the map view often zooms out to the whole-trip overview, leaving you without guidance at crucial moments. When the map does jump back to the detail view, it first zigs and zags around wildly before settling on your current location. The iOS app lets you set up a trip from start to finish, but editing the suggested charging stops can be tricky. Some of the interface components are just badly designed; when entering your EV’s State of Charge (SoC), the onscreen keypad obscures the number you are trying to enter. Also, after amending the contents of a route plan, the interface does not update the view with the content that you have entered. You just have to hope it works and hit “Plan”. In summary: a great backend, some excellent interface details, generally quite poor interaction design. But because Apple / Google / Here don’t support EV route planning very well, ABRP for now remains your best bet.. Fredrik Matheson Version: 5.0.1

Stian I like det app and maps but tried live data with Enode isent live data at all. Updates once an hour maybe, and is not worth it. I drive an electric car and tried premium so it would read the cars SoC. But to call it live data is wrong. Disappointed.. Fpluserr Version: 6.1.0

Horrible. Stay away Its good at planning the route, but absolutely useless on the road.. Fløfg Version: 5.0.10

Tesla Ikke oppdatert med alle åpne Tesla ladere?. Mkitavc Version: 4.2.9

Many UI buttons not working The guesstimations are way off, the UI is slow and sometimes unresponsive and the subscriptions admin doesn't work.. Rundingsbøye Version: 6.0.2

Useless app This app is useless without premium account. It not worth to install on phone. Stigfjerdingen Version: 4.4.3
