A-Shell Kundenservice

Eine der besten Apps welche das iPad erst richtig wertvoll machen, egal ob in Python etwas ausprobieren oder per ssh auf ein Server zu kommen - es funktioniert! Und das ganze open Source! An machen stellen (beim wechseln zwischen verschiedenen Apps) etwas hakelig, aber späterstens nach einem Neustart der App funktioniert dann wieder alles. Weiter so und vielen Dank für diese grandiose App!

Klasse App um mal schnell auf meine Server zuzugreifen oder mal schnell was testen. Einen Wunsch hätte ich aber, wenn sowas möglich ist. Ich fände eine permanente befehlshistorie gut brauchbar. Oder gibt es die schon und ich mach nur was falsch? Ansonsten klasse und danke. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit einen „Kaffee“ zu spendieren?

Eine fantastische App. Nett wäre ein etwas konventionellerer Editor als vim und zusätzlich (oder als alternative Version) R.

Diese Terminal/Shell-Emulation erweitert den Einsatzbereich des iPad (wie auch Carnets) vom Spielzeug hin zum wirklich nützliche Werkzeug für unterwegs. Mächtig und vertrauenswürdig (was mir bei meinen Servern wichtig ist). Optimal wäre eine permanente shell-history, die auch den App-Neustart übersteht. Aber auch so ist es einfach klasse!

Für jedes iPad! Die App gehört zu denen, die das iPad (abseits vom reinen konsumieren) nutzbar machen. Danke dafür!

This is not just a shell but an operating system including package manager in your pocket. I have access to ping, dig, ssh, vim, python - in a terminal. Each of these could be different apps but I have them all right here. Gestures are well thought out, everything integrated works mostly seamlessly. Using it from iPad to login remotely to my servers, using it from iPhone to check stuff while on the way. And there’s python in it, which I often use as a more sophisticated calculator. Besides the fact that there is no calculator in iPad, sigh. Here I have variables, functions, power operator, parentheses. And I am sure I haven’t discovered everything that a-shell offers yet.

With A-Shell you can finally use your iPad as a an actual computer and solve productivity tasks requiring (light) scripting and file processing.

Thanks a lot, one step further on my way to use the iPad as my #1 device and as a "real machine".

There are problems with displaying the raspi-config on iPad Pro. If you choose an entry and try to open, next you see a blue screen only and no further options. On PC via Powershell it works fine.

The best terminal app on the iOS, but I have serious problems with it. Whenever I run a python script I got this error code. ValueError: unknown locale: UTF-8

Leider eher enttäuschend. In der Beschreibung wird von einer Shell gesprochen, aber die Funktionalität ist etwas dürftig und nicht zu vergleichen mit iSH.

Habe die App gerade das erste Mal runtergeladen, aber leider stürzt sie beim Start sofort ab. Habe bereits mein iPhone neugestartet, hilft aber nicht. iOS-Version: 16.0.3

Großartig, wenn sie funktioniert; jedoch habe das ich oft das Problem, dass die einfachsten Befehle nicht mehr gefunden werden: $ pwd Failed loading pwd from shell.framework/shell, cause = (null)
