Thank for excellent app. I have notice one feature request: when select text, context menu has not action for translation its. And copy is hided by second click. So translation is more difficult then can be. And selection text is not dropped after tap by other, instead drop selection other text is intercept the focus and became selected.

5 статьей и платная подписка. Я сторонник свободного распространения знаний, считаю, что medium должен искать более приемлимые способы монетизации. Не в курсе про политику оплаты авторам. Если все эти деньги идут авторам то наверное это ок, но что то не верится

Как же задолбали приложения в которых нельзя прочитать ни одну статью - сразу требуют подписку оформить. #япротивподписок

Боже, да сделайте же так, чтобы переходы по ссылкам работали! Вместо этого при нажатии на ссылку просто выделяется текст. Читаю статьи по UX у вас. Не представляете, как бесят эти ссылки.

Невозможно читать: либо постоянно вылетает на рабочий стол через 1-2 секунды после запуска, либо не даёт закрыть приложение и при попытке свернуть его открывает

Your desktop experience is truly exasperating! Despite being a paid subscriber, I can't sign in when using Brave browser. What's the point of a subscription if I can't even access the content? On top of this, your support system is useless. I get an "access denied" error when I try to submit a ticket. It's appalling that a communication platform can't manage basic user support.

Скажу сразу контекст: премиумную подписку ну покупал, пользовался free-версией Со старта все радовало, отличный контент, интересные рекомендации. Думал, что мобильный Medium - это мастхэв на телефоне. Но в последнее время захожу и все чаще замечаю, что лента состоит из сплошь премиумного контента (просмотр которого ограничен в месяц для бесплатных аккаунтов), и по интересующим меня темам free-контента нет вообще никакого. Поэтому пролистывание ленты превращается в бесконечный и бесполезный скролл. И после двух минут этого бесцельного занятия, приложение закрывается, и на душе остаётся ощущение обманутости. Поэтому, извини, Medium, но за такое только двойка и удаление приложения может быть

Что за убожество на месте кириллических букв? Это хвалёный дизайн Медиума? Что это за аппка в 2К17 без юникодных шрифтов? А просто перевод уя? Если ваш проект не монетизируется, может, надо что-то придумывать? Диаспора* развивается быстрее! Или Блоггер — дёшево и сердито.

Nice work. Set annoying icon and suggest to change it only on the most expensive subscription. Isn’t it enough for you that I’ve already paid for reading articles?

UPD 25.01.2021 Unsolved: 1. If there is any quote in the comment larger than 2 lines then it will be shown beyond the quote borders and sometimes over the main text of the comment. To solve this issue I have to expand comment text if I have such ability. 2. Why I haven’t option “show less like this” in the app? I still have ability to do this in the web version. 3. When I open comment section I can’t see “What are you thoughts?” placeholder in comment input field. I see only part of letter “W” and that’s all. 4. The other issue is about selection of words in the article. If I select any word in the text I will have to tap on any other word in this paragraph to discard selection. If I tap on other word/sentence in the other paragraph it will select that whole sentence instead of discard my previous selection.

You are reimagining app experience so often! Wow. No changes are visible though.

Black screen only

New design is very inconvenient. It is now impossible to swipe pages back and forth, which was a great feature. Also, I can’t leave comments page unless I close the app.

It does not work correctly on iPhone 6S with iOS 13 and iPad with iOS 12. It crashes every time when I try to open next article or try to swap to next author. I paid for a Medium for a long time and I don’t want to have this freaking issues with the mobile app. It is not possible to read articles or commenting them on devices.

You were charged twice for one subscription

Some articles may take a lot of time to read and sometimes you want to take a pause and continue reading after some rest. And that is a point where your user experience struggles a lot: 1. When you close the app and open again after some time, it closes the article you read before and there is no way to open and even find it again. 2. There is no “last viewed” option, so if you unexpectedly close the article - just forget about it. 3. Swipe to right closes an article, and you cannot prevent this action, and as a result there is no way to find this article again if it was opened by a link.

Why should I subscribe and pay if I can open an article in a browser? Do you pay authors?
