So eine gute Alternative zu Good Reads (von Amazon)!

I adore this app. I personally never felt at home or even safe on GR, and one thing I was absolutely always missing were trigger warnings. I LOVE the community fueled trigger warnings on this app. The design is also immaculate and very easy to use, and the fact that at the start I was able to bring all my GR data with me 🖤 There’s only one tiny thing that bugs me: The recommendation system is great (and I am really cross with you for recommending me so many wonderful things that I have to add to my TBR lists :D), but it is annoying to always see books I have already added to Read Later recommended to me. It just clutters up the list and so far I don’t see a way to refresh my recommendations so I don’t see the already added ones anymore (also, is there a way to get back books that I have marked as Don’t Show Up Again? Because I don’t want to x out of a book simply because I have already added it to my tbr for it to then never show up again anywhere). Again: Incredible app, love it, will use it as long as it exists.

Story graph has the exact same futures as good reads but even more. Something that often bothered me with good reads are the missing trigger warnings for the books. Knowing what graphic scenes might happen in a book is very important while picking it out because there are many people who can’t just read r*pe for example so easily and exactly towards those people it’s harmful when they don’t know the triggering contents of a books. And not only does story graph have TWs it’s also created my a black woman and not a already to rich white man (iykyk)

I‘ve been using the app for a little over a year and it’s really great! Loooooove the stats! What I think is one of the greatest features is that I can add a book if it’s not already added and that is definitely something that makes TSG stick out in comparison with *the other app*. Even more so when it comes down to stat-lovers. Another user friendly design is that the app and website are basically the same, which makes using TSG over all super easy! Well done Nadia+Rob!

I love that the app shows you all sorts of statistics, lets you filter through stuff and tells you how many pages you’ve read each day. It records reading streaks which is super motivating. You can now join buddy reads and create reading challenges others can join. You can even track audiobooks! And it’s all a one-woman-show which is crazy amazing!!!

This is the best reading app I have ever used. It takes a little time to get used to it but it’s honestly great and keeps me very motivated to finish my reading goals. The only thing missing for me is being able to mark a book as a reread and therefore giving it a second review or something like that. Besides of that, I really recommend using this app :)

I love the storygraph app! The design is sleek and functional, the graphs it shows you for your reading stats are amazing! And lots of other little things like tracking multiple reads of one book, cueing which books you want to read next… you can really tell this app was made by people who love to read and know what readers want!

I have no idea why i didn’t like ST when i first download it but i decided to give it another chance and it’s one the best choices i’ve ever made. I absolutely LOVE the stats and graphs. The main thing that made me fall in love with ST is that you can add a book without being a librarian, something you can’t do on GR.

I really love this app for all the statistics alone and think its even better than other alternatives BUT often when searching for a book the book cannot be found and you need to search via ISBN. I would also like to be able to search for the author. But otherwise the app is great(:

For me, the only thing that is missing is a dark mode. Otherwise it’s perfect! (And maybe an option where you can choose “reread” when choosing the status (aka read, currently reading etc.) I absolutely love the stats and the community tab!

I‘ve been using The Storygraph App for over 2 years now and like everything about it. I especially enjoy the rotating preview of my TBR on the startpage reminding me of long lost books and all of the amazing statistics which I can filter by month or year.

In my opinion the best app to track your reading. I really appreciate the different statistics, my favorite is the graph which tracks number of books/pages read over the whole year.

Especially the buddy read feature is amazing. Great app to track my reading habits and connect with friends who also read.

Developers that truly care about the wishes and needs of the app‘s users!!! :) if i could, i would give it even more than 5 stars

I love the app and it has way more functions than Goodreads! But I would like to put more than 5 books in the up next pile. Maybe 10 would be better

I really enjoy it but some books I‘ve read (and recently tracked) don’t show up in my stats

Switched from goodreads and i am loving it. i can recommend it to everyone who wants to track their reading history and it has a way better ui than gr.

Let‘s be honest, the love of books pours into every bit of code that this apps has. The details and the design are just immaculate! I love everything about this app and I will forever marvel at my reading statistics and be happy. Thank you Nadia for your work!

Die App war bisher wirklich super, leider habe ich mit Beginn der Januar-Challenge beim Start der App nur noch einen grauen Hintergrund und mehr nicht. Insofern kann ich leider nun meinen Fortschritt nicht mehr tracken. Schade!

Die meisten deutschen Bücher wurden nicht erkannt - trotz Spracheinstellung. Auf die Schnelle habe ich hier auch keine Möglichkeit gefunden anständig Hörbücher tracken zu können. Auch die meisten Amazon selfpublishing Bücher wurden nicht erkannt. Oder von einigen Reihen nur der erste Teil. Frustrierend wenn man vorerst nichts machen kann sondern nur warten muss.
