What is PerfExpert?

PerfExpert – Car Onboard Dyno & Timer is a professional-grade app that lets you measure your car’s real performance:
• Engine power & torque curves
• 0–60 mph / 0–100 km/h acceleration times
• Quarter mile / 400 m times, and more.

All tests are performed using just your phone — no connection to your car required. Results come in detailed reports with interactive charts.

How does the dyno work?

1. Create your car profile
Enter key specs like curb weight, tire size, and displacement. If you’re unsure, the app helps you find them.
2. Mount your phone securely
No need for OBD or external sensors. PerfExpert uses your phone’s internal sensors to capture acceleration accurately.
3. Perform a full-throttle pull
On a flat, straight road, accelerate from low revs to redline in one gear — done!

Note: Dyno tests are not compatible with automatic gearboxes that lack a manual mode.

Accurately measure horsepower and torque. Includes rev limiter detection and power loss modeling.
• Correction standards:
Apply standard corrections (DIN, SAE, ISO, JIS, CEE) using real-time ambient conditions (pressure, temperature, humidity).
• Timed Run Test:
Measure acceleration and distance milestones: 0–60 mph, 0–1/4 mile, 0–100 km/h, and more.
• High-frequency sensor use:
Maximum precision thanks to high-rate accelerometer sampling and advanced smoothing.
• Connect to external GPS devices like RaceBox Mini, Mini S, Micro, RaceBox.ru, or VBox Sport for even higher accuracy and features like rolling start dyno runs (requires PerfExpert Pro su).
• Share results online with a public web link, viewable on the PerfExpert Network
• Custom units:
Supports a wide range of units: Hp, Ch, Nm, Ft.lb, m/s², °C, psi, km/h, mph, m, ft, etc.
• Results can be exported as TSV data file or PNG image.
