First bad experience I have heard a lot of bad reviews about bolt drivers. They are scammers. The driver I took stolen from me his name is ABIODUN ABOLANLE FATOYE. My location shows TENT OF LIFE Specialist Clini, but on getting there we couldn't find the location. I asked him if he knew of any ENT clinics around. He told me he must end the first trip since it was a different location. He called someone who asked me to come to their clinic which 5-minute walk from my pick location. I told him I was very new here in Lagos, and I didn't know my way around yet. On getting to the location, I asked him to show me my second trip price on the app. Only for him to tell me he didn't turn on the app whatever. I was surprised, I knew I was about to be scammed, he asked for 5000NGN which I refused to give him. He started being aggressive towards me. I can't stand that because of my health challenges. I told him I would pay 3000NG, which he said was not good, and he later asked me to pay 4000NGN. I couldn't access the internet because I don't have a Nigeria SIM card yet. I asked him if he could help me share his hotspot, which he did, and I made a transfer from my mobile app. Which later shows an error on the transfer. Shortcomings in the program There is a shortcoming in the Bolt program which allaws drivers to report arrival at pick up adress without actually being there. Today I ordered a taxi, driver accepted the order, but drove to a different address. Then he reported as if arrived at my pick up adress and after few minutes refused the order as if I did not arrive at pick up adress. Appreciate if you fix this gap/shortcoming in the program. The location is wrong, your maps are outdated I was told that Bolt uses Google map, but Google has already updated some info which you still haven’t. For instance, former Lumegrand store which previously located at the address Hasan Aliyev 79, Baku, Azerbaijan, moved to a new address (Ashig Molla Juma Street 46B, Baku, Azerbaijan) a year ago, but in your map it still shows the old location. Unauthorized payment transactions and “don’t” care customer service ever I faced with cc charges when i did not used this app. All my attempts to get money back are failed! Driver had a gun in the car I really have concerns about Bolt’s drivers. Today I literally saw a gun in the car and the driver was extremely dangerous and talking about some gangster lifestyle, killing, punching, torturing people. Drivers are getting very angry when customers pay via card So frequently ( today also ) i am experiencing this unpleasant situation caused by bolt drivers ,, They are complaining even arguing with me why I am paying by card , that they don’t get any many from card payments , even they are asking me to quit the car or cancel the ride. When i reminded them to clear such things with company they answer was “ the main office is in Estonia or smth , no one cares and etc. I want to remind you that , i am not the only customer , so many people face this situation on daily basis , and to be honest most of them got rid of this app , for this reason i am also thinking about quit the bolt , “ Also so many drivers are coming with another car plate ( differrent that was in app while purchasing ) , with another phone num , even another driver ( not the one on photo) which i find not safe. Safety and respect to passengers personal belongings No matter how many times I’ve called the taxi driver and contacted the Bolt support, the driver has never answered my phone calls and Bolt can’t help to solve the problem. Getting worse App doesn’t work now, I can’t select a pick up and destination point atm, just opening the map and nothing else When I order a driver, sometimes the driver cancels the ride without any reason but doesn’t cancel it on the app, and reordering a new driver takes so long and I can’t make a complain about the the drivers who cancel the ride without any reason But to be honest, the prices are the best. Cash instead of card The driver is accepting my drive but not arriving So as a result I am canceling the order, bolt is withdrawing money,including tax. After conversation with support, they giving me advice to use cash and adding in my bonus the money which was withdrawn except the tax part,which also was withdrawn Explaining that it is not their fault 2 times it happened and I don’t get proper way to solve my problem, so as a result, it gonna use you this application.
