Bolt failed to effectively supervise the drivers, and the customer service was merely handled by AI The first time I used Bolt, the driver didn't find me until twenty minutes after confirming his arrival. During this period, I asked two locals to help me communicate with the driver, but he seemed to be unable to understand and kept going around in circles. This led to me paying a large waiting fee and wasting a lot of my time. I thought it was just an isolated incident, but today, when I used Bolt for the second time, the driver chose to remain in the waiting state without arriving and stayed in the same place, attempting to defraud the waiting fee. I tried to contact the driver, but he refused to communicate. I had to go and find him myself. After getting in the car, he still didn't confirm that the passenger was on board. Only after I reminded him repeatedly did he reluctantly confirm. I have only used this app twice, and both times, the driver tried to defraud the waiting fee. Bolt has no supervision in this regard at all, and the customer service handled the matter in a very negative attitude.. Version: 230.0

Works fine but misleading with the prices Bolt is an app that really works. But never think that your price at reservation is the price you will pay. As a tourist in London we only want to know what we will pay for a ride in advance. But it changes especially for the airport trips. 70 pounds trip becomes 120 pounds and you learn this change 2 hours after the trip. They refund it somehow if you reclaim a complain. Worst application ever Text drivers that are counseling right or they’d say it’s too long to come there so you can cancel the ride but in the end you need your account blocked if you come too many rides like three cancellation and your account is just blocked. Drivers don’t fear the support for a simple reason – they won’t do anything! Every time I use this app there is something wrong with the drivers, they either are disrespectful or try to scam you. This never happens when I use Grab though. After an incident where a driver aggressively cursed at me, the support contacted me but did nothing about it. Scheming company They sent me an offer of 20% off first three rides, however it was nothing but a scam! They did not give the discount but marked up the price of the ride and then claimed a discount was given, only to charge me the full amount. I will never use them and delete the app. Do not get this app! Developer responded to my email by asking me to contact support on the app, which I had already done and received nothing but bogus reasons for their not honoring their offer. The driver stole my money The driver was so disrespectful to me, my trip costed 10 euros and when i gave my 50 euro to him he took from my hand and look trough his wallet and said that he couldn’t give me an change. He told me to look to my house, as i was scared of him so i just went to my home and took 20 euro and come back. He was gone with my 50 euros. The bolt support didn’t do anything but give “promo code” as they think a good thing. BUT THIS IS OBVIOUSLY MY RIGHT they didint do anything else… the driver wasn’t punished, or nothing more then my money to show them they were sorry. Dont Use Dubai Today I realized this: Bolt deliberately makes the route longer compared to Careem. At first it looks cheaper, but in reality it’s the most expensive option. Careem gives a 4 km route to the destination, while Bolt turns it into 7.4 km. This is clearly not customer-friendly. It’s obvious they are only looking after their own profit — this is a clear and definite observation. In Dubai, you are expensive. Answer: I already gave you more than enough chances. Terrible customer support. I was robbed of my money Taxi driver said that there was some kinda error in system and that I need to pay with cash and there’ll be no charge for a bank card, because he cancelled the ride. I then proceeded to give him money with cash and left the taxi. After about 1-2 minutes there was a card charge for approximately 7 AZN. When I called back a driver he said funds will be returned within 15 minutes. I didn’t got my money to card returned. Refund of failed ride None of the agents I talk through support solved my issue. I order 3 ride and none of them happened all payments were withdrawn from account and none of them returned. The agents asked to wait few days then 14 days then 30 days. Then asked to get bank statement I tell them this is credit card and my bank do not provide it but none of them understand. Shortcomings in the program There is a shortcoming in the Bolt program which allaws drivers to report arrival at pick up adress without actually being there. Today I ordered a taxi, driver accepted the order, but drove to a different address. Then he reported as if arrived at my pick up adress and after few minutes refused the order as if I did not arrive at pick up adress. Appreciate if you fix this gap/shortcoming in the program. Pricey / Locations Not Available / Tax The fares skyrocketed in such a short time! Bolt used to have the best fares in the city up until now. Locations are not precise / available (e.g. struggling to pin my home address), and it’s super annoying to see your money withdrawn for unexplainable tax when paid by card. The location is wrong, your maps are outdated I was told that Bolt uses Google map, but Google has already updated some info which you still haven’t. For instance, former Lumegrand store which previously located at the address Hasan Aliyev 79, Baku, Azerbaijan, moved to a new address (Ashig Molla Juma Street 46B, Baku, Azerbaijan) a year ago, but in your map it still shows the old location. Today I literally saw a gun in the car and the driver was extremely dangerous and talking about some gangster lifestyle, killing, punching, torturing people. Disgusting service and support. I have been using the application for 3 years, but I will never again. taxi drivers do not accept an order if non-cash payment is used. the last time I had to cancel the order more than 7 times due to the fault of the drivers, but in the application they blocked me for a whole week! when I wrote to the support service that it was not my fault, they answered me with a stereotyped message that I would have to wait 7 days before they unblock me. Card payments I recently learned from one of the drivers that bolt drivers are NOT informed whether the payment is made by card or cash in advance, so they always ask me that question as I enter the vehicle. I am tired of waiting 10+ minutes to then hear “can I drop you off somewhere halfway through the ride because I don’t accept card payments” Annoying, this is getting simply annoying and making me regret anytime I open up this app. As a UI/UX designer I believe that the app is flawed for the sole reason of not showing the drivers their client’s payment method in advance.. Safety and respect to passengers personal belongings No matter how many times I’ve called the taxi driver and contacted the Bolt support, the driver has never answered my phone calls and Bolt can’t help to solve the problem. Awful scooters and support Bolt Scooters had awful, terrible gps system. I have come to finish ride to P spot, gps shows scooter in other place and I couldn’t end the ride. Have to waste 20 minutes of my time and funds to solve the issue. Besides support do not help at all, do not realize what are they talking about, send templated answer which is not even a solution. Especially guy from support team named Bahruz try to finish support session dont even said any solution. I send photoes and screenshots that I am the P point but scooter shows little wrong area. Problem with online payment When we choose payment with card method, the ride is got cancelled. The drivers accept only the rides with cash. If that is the case, what is the point of having “pay with card” function on the app? Cons - drivers have different profiles as well as number plates in the app and in real life. could be very dangerous and misleading. - drivers accept the ride before arriving at the destination so we can pay them extra. the free time idea is the worst thing that you came up with because sometimes they’d be parked very far and the time it takes you to reach them would be more than 3 minutes, again wasting our time. - drivers accept rides even though they are so far and when they get near they cancel wasting our times. - our profiles shouldn’t get blocked because of the drivers faults. - drivers charge more when using cash due to ‘busy roads’ and get angry when you refuse to pay them extra. - drivers don’t always give back the exact change but expect you to give them the cash notes and coins and get mad if you’re missing a coin or two. you should allow drivers to accept rides only if they have the proper change for it, not everything has to be done by the customers. - the ride should only be accepted when the driver is at the exact location we want them to be rather than standing far behind and further away from it and expecting us to walk in busy roads.. Support doesn’t support I had 3 destinations, driver did not drive to the second location with reason of poor road conditions even though every day I am using the route for the rides. Drivers ask Card or cash? Most drivers after accepting ride call to ask if ride is on card or cash! If ride is on card they ask to cancel, almost 2out of 3 rides are like this now, bolt needs to solve this. Version: 65.1

Drivers are mostly rapists! Don’t use this app. If you search on internet, you will see how many women got insulted, harassed and abused by bolt drivers. Terribly unprofessional Dear (not so dear already) Bolt, I am very dissatisfied by your services Most of your drivers are incompetent, I waited for an hour in cold near Port Baku today waiting for a driver to accept my order, they all accepted and all called me asking to cancel the order. When it comes to card payments they also call me and ask me to cancel the order I just placed. I’d like to tell you that this is terribly unprofessional and it reflects your poor hiring tactics. You hire literally everyone left and right and make it difficult for drivers to claim their rightfully earned money which was paid by customers using credit cards. From this day on I will stop using Bolt and instead will use local taxi services which are much responsive and adequate than you. Also I had emergency incident when driver attacked me & nobody’s cares, after incident I didn’t receive any email how the support solve that danger situation or even a number of the case passed to police or not.. Drivers are getting very angry when customers pay via card So frequently ( today also ) i am experiencing this unpleasant situation caused by bolt drivers ,, They are complaining even arguing with me why I am paying by card , that they don’t get any many from card payments , even they are asking me to quit the car or cancel the ride. When i reminded them to clear such things with company they answer was “ the main office is in Estonia or smth , no one cares and etc. I want to remind you that , i am not the only customer , so many people face this situation on daily basis , and to be honest most of them got rid of this app , for this reason i am also thinking about quit the bolt , “ Also so many drivers are coming with another car plate ( differrent that was in app while purchasing ) , with another phone num , even another driver ( not the one on photo) which i find not safe.
