Great in a classroom, but...I use this in my first grade classroom. Students find it engaging and they are getting better at sight words as a result. However, it would be much improved if there was a way to add more than 5 students' names (plus guest), so I could more easily see their results and I can change the settings for each students' needs. Like this...want more!My 6yr old daughter loves this game who will be going into 2nd grade this yr. I would like to see an extension using the Fry Sight Word List which is more extensive than the Dolch Word List. It will allow my daughter to be further challenged. I also found out that my daughter's teacher in 2nd grade will be using the Fry List so this addition would be great, rather than using flash cards. Easy fix for No Sound after update :)1. Check the Side Switch on the upper right corner of your iPad and make sure that the orange dot is not showing. 2. Turn up the volume using the buttons on the right side of your iPad. 3. Please restart your device. See "Restart iPad" here. 4. If you are using iOS 4.3 or above (See Settings > General > Version, for iOS version number): -a. Make sure the orange dot is not showing on the Side Switch on the upper right corner of the iPad. -b. Go to Settings > General > use Side Switch to: > Check Mute -c. Open the app, and the sound should now be working. -d. (Optional) Now if you want to change the Settings to "Use Side Switch to: Lock Rotation," you can. Great game.My 5 yr old is working on learning site words and learning them make early reading much easier. This game is brilliant. It takes all the boring repetition out. This is fast paced and rewarding. This game has word bingo and two other faster paced mini games. One where words fall from the top and stack up if not touched in time and one that allows the kids to fling bugs at a target. No external audioI just purchased both math and word bingo and although the apps are what I expected there is no external audio. The audio only works if we use headphones. Please fix issue. My son won't use the apps if he has to use headphones as he is to young to do so. At this point am disappointed with my purchases Update - great support! Word BingoMy 7 year old is enjoying this app. One part that he finds frustrating is "losing" at the stacking game. He would feel a greater sense of success if the level could be mastered instead of always ending in a "loss". Sometimes, the words are hard to understand - but the child can hit the 'repeat the word' button. Has become impossible to playThis app was a great tool for in reading class, but now it is not. When we first started using it it was easy to score "bingo bugs" and this was a great motivator. Since then, though, the amount of seconds allowed to score a bug has gotten lower and lower to the point that bugs just can't be gotten at all.
