I am considering to unsubscribe from The Financial Times because there are too many premium articles including some which are not marked as PREMIUM and when I tap on them it turns out that it is premium. If you continue with this way of doing things you will lose many clients. R. Martinez

The app is great but it’s a shame that even after having subscribed you receive so many intrusive ads inside the articles. This reduces legibility and looks really bad for a quality publication like the FT.

I would love that developers will add the night mode to the app. Sometimes, I read at night and It has so much light that avoid relaxing. It could be an interesting improvement. Thanks

The FT app is very good designed: it’s handy, sleek. It’s beautiful in short. It’s a treat to be able to read the this newspaper in digital form, which doesn’t usually happen with other local newspapers. I also like to be able to send links of the articles that I consider relevant to friends and family. myFT is a good tool to be able to focus in on the topics you are more interested. All the same, in my opinion the FTApp lacks a good section of weather maps and forecasts of and for the world region one is living. The printed FT has it. Another good idea would be to have the crossword similarly to the NYTimes: manageable with an iPad or iPhone.

Many times the articles are like to fill the edition without any deep study of the matter. It is difficult to fill a 24/7 edition but should be better to reduce the number of articles instead of few profesional analysis. In the news related to Spain, usually the author just sources from local biased newspaper instead of getting deeper on the real situation. This was very clear on the title managing of the misery…… I know very well was the situation on the Spanish sanitary system is with a lot of strain all the country ( aged population, lack of professional…) looking that the problem was only at Madrid. It looks that the author lives confortable at Barcelona writing the article seating at a sunny table reading El Pais and Vanguardia as solely source instead of travel to see the overall Soanish situation . I wonder: if a matter, I am used to deal with, I see this bias, how will be the others covered by FT

I have been a loyal subscriber for years. I appreciated it when the FT introduced the comments section where likewise subscribers share their comments; this allowed for other views, often invaluable, and helped gauge and understand subscriber opinion on different topics. However the FT has decided increasingly, which articles to permit commentary to and which ones to block their subscribers views. I find this condescending and rude. If you feel a topic is taboo then don’t write about it, but if you feel you can report it, then your subscribers have a right to comment. Either open commentary to all your articles, emphasising self-moderation and mutual respect in expressing views, or abolish all commentary, but don’t play God by acting like some of the autocrats you often report about.

Lately the app is freezing. When click articles in the daily digest it opens the app and it freezes. Also, when tapping Menu it does not open

It says it does not load and try again all day long.

The FT is an outstanding newspaper in terms of the information and editing. Congratulations to the team! But ... Its the first time after subscribing to the FT that I write comments below an article. My comments are held back "to be reviewed by a moderator". This effectively shuts me out of a live discussion. This kind of censorship is outdated. You can removed comments or commentators after review.
