They don’t let room for people who don’t read enough of it to pay… Though the offers they have are ok…

The New York Times offers a wide range of content that helps me stay informed and get through my day. Their podcast is especially great for staying updated during my commute—definitely worth checking out.

The NYT, The Guardian & El País are my go-to sources to make sense of the world.

Not compatible on older iPhones. So I have just been booted out of NYT! Incredible!!! How can you do this?

De las pocas aplicaciones gratuitas que realmente vale la pena instalar.

Went to read the NYT this morning and was told I had to update to use the app. Pressed the update button, waited for the circle thing to stop spinning, was taken back to the app page where I pressed "open" was taken back to the page with the circle thing spinning, when it stopped I was taken to the app page to press "open" and so on, ad infinitum. Result: unable to read the NYT UPDATE: Uninstalled the app.

But it’s annoying I cannot go back and do old crossword puzzles that I didn’t get a chance to do before

Only night mode feature is missing. Thanks

The New York Times is definitely the best digital news outlet in the market. Besides the quality and depth of its journalism it is well above any competitor in terms of digital "mastery". It has a clean visual format. You can see beautiful transitions between news and the lateness of video 360 formats. Truly impressed by this latest version

Funciona com ho haurien de fer les aplicacions de diaris. Tant de bo les dels diaris catalans funcionessin així! Baixa les notícies sense que es vegi, funciona en desconnexió, fa la lectura agradable i la publicitat transparent. Molt recomanable.

Cuanta razón que tienes aquí si buscan uno de España y en Español que descarguen El País o alguno parecido. Pero a mi me gusta mucho NYTimes y no se merece esas reseñas.

Aunque muchas veces las noticias son muy de EEUU (quizás eso cambie ahora que he descubierto que tiene versión para Europa) me gusta que tiene notificaciones. Además, las noticias suelen tener un contenido bastante bueno y dan el punto de vista de EEUU

Pero caballeros como no va hablar así de España? Es que hay gente que pone no me la descargo y la doy una estrella por como habló de España, pero obviamente no puede hablar bien cuando el país no esta bien y otro que he leído ponía (jolin ni una palabra en español) pero vamos a ver no se si es que sois tontos o que. Es un periódico americano lo que conlleva es que este escrito en inglés.

Muy útil aplicación. Para mi es genial y casi imprescindible. La recomiendo a todo aquel que desee estar al día.

Gran aplicación, para todos los que se quejan de que no esta en español, es un periódico estadounidense, si quereis leer prensa en español descargad una app de cualquier periódico de España.

I pay a subscription and still see ads. Obnoxious

Subscriber of a few years, i admire the dedication to worldwide coverage of news and the investigative reportages that they put out. But then they muddy the message with sooo much half-cooked, not even progressive, absolutely biased (but in a uninformed way), and hypocritical opinion articles that I can’t say i enjoy the experience of reading them anymore.

It keeps freezing on launch!

Why does the app freeze on the first article? Useless!

The app seems not to know what subscription you have so keeps pestering you to subscribe, even though you’ve already paid. Horrible bar on every screen urging me to subscribe. Drove me mad. International Customer care not available at the times advertised. Not recommended.

Para cuando la versión en castellano?

In to unsubscribe you have to go through a super long process and the app does not work when chatting with the rep. Never again, horrible experience

Muy dificil cancelar. Desde la cuenta el boton „cancel”te lleva a la pagina donde otro boton te lleva de vuelta a tu propia cuenta!!! En este sentido: una tipica estafa.

Put the application in Spanish also available as on the web, that would be really good...

Una auténtica estafa, teniendo una cuenta dada de alta en NYtimes.com no puedes meter usuario y contraseña del que ya dispones y cuando te vas a dar cuenta ya te han cobrado una cuota mensual. Si reclamas como yo he hecho, te dicen que no y que canceles la suscripción, pero el primer mes te estafan directamente. Nada recomendable, aprended de los errores de los demás.

La aplicación funcionó 2 o 3 veces, me reinicio el iphone y ya no me arrancaba tuve que restaurar...

Simplemente no carga ninguna noticia.

No esta en español. No ne sirve para nada.

Aunque en un principio me encantaba porque los casi todas las categorías que tenía y que se podían disfrutar eran gratis, ahora mismo solo le pongo una estrella al tener la mayoría de los artículos de pago. Ojalá vuelva a como era en un inicio.

No hermano, no lo pillas. No nos quejamos de que el New York Times no este en español. Nos quejamos que que en todo el puto kiosco no hay ninguna publicación en español para descargar y encima el susodicho kiosco no se puede borrar De narices si quieres que no pongan ninguna app en kiosco en español pero al menos que tengan la elegancia de permitir borrar la app a quien quiera.
