Would be cool if there was an option to read the article out loud

En Medium puede escribir cualquiera , pero lo cierto es que hay gente muy top escribiendo, aquí puedes informarte de lo que ocurre en el mundo desde muchas perspectivas , pero ojo , hay que seleccionar bien a tus referentes, lee distintos puntos de vista , cuantos más mejor y , sobre todo , sé crítico y no te crees una burbuja informativa

Para hacerla perfecta le haría falta un traductor in App

As a European Educated in Rice, Columbia and Harvard, loving USA for 30 years, I must say that I totally agree w Umair. After my long love affair, along w so many other Europeans, we left disgruntled. It was clear the “freedom country” would not easily cope with a “human crisis” that would require a medical and scientific approach for all. For a few yes. For everyone, no. Communism is certainly not the solution. Europe is the solution. Social-democracy. You pay 50% of your salary to unify the nation, the country. You pay and you get back. Simple. USA, it’s not over yet!, yes you can! Wake up!! It’s not too late for the brave gringos!

I like to follow some publications as “Towards data science”, but I do it through web, because I can’t see where to include a shortcut in the app

It’s really annoying when I’m scrolling down searching for an interesting article and I accidentally click a premium article. Once opened, the monthly premium counter decreases. I would appreciate if instead of opening the article, the behavior would be to click on a button to read more. This could be as the upgrade button when the counter is 0 and you open a premium article. Please consider this for future releases. Greetings!

Me encanta descubrir artículos y opiniones interesantes sobre los temas que me interesan. Añade más sentido crítico a mi visión sobre dichos temas de forma ágil y fácil de consultar en el móvil.

App muy completa para leer artículos

Los escritos en español van cogiendo forma, mi yo salvaje de 10!

Muy buen diseño, funciona como debe funcionar una App bien desarrollada, 5 estrellas!!

Para mi, la mejor red social donde intercambiar conocimiento (casi siempre en inglés), sobre cualquier tema. En mi caso, en AI y neurociencia es de los mejores escenarios para estar al día de las ideas de otros colegas en todo el mundo...

Why do I have to provide my email each time I open the app and then check my inbox and finally get to what I was looking at the start, more when I have paid fir full access? I feel a bit bullied. Please, once I provide my prove that I have a paid subscription do not ask me each time to sign in again. That makes the app a nightmare compared to the web.

Las condiciones estan en ingles, la ayuda esta en ingles! En ningun lado puedes darte de baja, ni solicitarla. La app esta en español pero el contenido no! 30 dias de prueba y luego pagar! La borro!! No me sirve!

Why after every few interaction must I be bothered to rate your app. This is annoying, especially for a medium member. Stop it. I normally will do it when I want to, but you forced me now so you get this. It’s my rule of thumb for annoying prompts. Update this and I will post a better review. Respect me when I say cancel.

EXPENSIVE. I can understand some cost, but it’s too much. A pity, good content but they have gone too far.

No tiene opción de traductor automático en los artículos. Por lo que termino usando el explorador.

The apps works perfectly. But I miss to read and WRITE when I don’t have connection, for example in the airplane. It would be nice that they download the articles from the reading list, so you have them there for those moments. This is a must!

Not user friendly

All is oriented to gain subscriptions, killing the experience. Content is hard to find and unbrowseable and, again, every step is harder because of the stared/private content.

When using iOS 15 in other apps it is possible to highlight the text and get the translation of a word, however this option is not available in Medium

De mal en peor. Por no hablar de la beta, con un diseño estupendo pero confusa y llena de errores. Lo último que cuando pulso un enlace en Twitter siempre me abre el mismo artículo equivocado. Si te gusta Medium, la mejor app es Safari. ——- reseña previa ——- Es difícil separar la aplicación de la propia plataforma. Medium como idea es genial, pero la aplicación debe facilitar algo más la escritura y sobretodo la lectura. Estaría bien poder cambiar la fuente que resulte más cómoda para leer (San Francisco estaría genial). Mis cansados ojos lo agradecerían. También cambiar márgenes para aprovechar mejor la pantalla, especialmente en el iPad. Tampoco estaría mal tener algún tipo de listas en las que guardar artículos, añadiendo tags. Al final obliga a usar otras apps como Pocket como complemento.

“Daily read” is mostly bs and clickbait titles. I wonder how much of it is even on Medium.. I regret having paid for the membership, I struggle to find relevant content. There is good stuff but it’s hard to find. It takes scanning trough all the crap and sometimes opening an article and wasting five minutes reading it to realize it’s empty. If you charge readers you should put some filter, a minimum standard or anyone is a “writer” and I can just go on my Facebook feed instead. Not paying next year.

There are still good articles on Medium but it’s getting very clickbaity. Lots of listicles, puff pieces and celebrity gossip. Oh, and tonnes and tonnes of articles about writing well and succeeding on Medium. I was attracted to Medium because there seemed to be a lot of high-quality writing of depth. The curators are probably doing the right thing commercially, as clickbait obviously attracts people. Doesn’t fulfil a desire to learn, or be fascinated or enlightened though. Great if you want to read articles with titles like: Why your Writing is not Reaching 1 Million Readers Not so much if you’d prefer: What Economic Model Comes after Capitalism But it’s fine.

La apps esta bestial, falta añadir traducción para leer artículos en inglés. “Gracias”

Muy descontento con esta app, ademas de que se bloquea al usarla, no puedes salir de ella y te congela todo el sistema operativo. Bug gordo.

The worst only premium seticles on my feed

La suscripción de pago a Medium tiene como opción el poder sincronizar los artículos con el teléfono o iPad para leerlos sin conexión a internet. Pero ésto no ha funcionado *nunca*. Con suerte, se sincronizan uno o dos artículos. Y da igual cuántas veces abras la app y los artículos mientras tienes conexión a internet. Adiós suscripción y app 👎

Tanto la app como la plataforma en sí es fantástica. Falta más contenido en español. También que en mi página de inicio aparezcan recomendaciones en mi idioma. Que me recomienden tantos posts en inglés pese a seguir a usuarios y medios exclusivamente en español es algo muy molesto. Mejoren eso o acabaré dejando la app.
