Needs more detailed answers and free Amazon music like I already bought and it was expensive so I could listen to music for free but is ok because Spotify is cheaper anyway!

Alexa has a very bad language support and collects a lot of data not nessesary for the Solution. Upon request of verfication of stored data under GDPR acct the support centre did not comply to my request, nor did the management

It's useless when it doesn't support more countries and languages. Sonos uses Alexa as a sell in, but is totally useless. It can't be that hard after so many years. In this case I'm hoping you can support Norwegian, Swedish and and Danish. Three pretty similar languages.

This is a great app and all but everything i try to ask alexa anything she always tells me to set my location on Amazon.com but I can’t figure out how it works and I can’t even get more info from Alexa due too lacking inn the AI PLS fix and pls make Alexa better

Amazon music app suddenly stopped working today . i have been using Alexa from last 6 yrs and it never had an issue . No remediation and just says it doesn’t work in your area .

Deaf and stupid

I am not able to control spotify through my Sonos1 using Alexa. I have tried to reinstall and install again. I have tried to disable and activate again. And it all looks like it should work, but for some reason it doesnt. To me it appears that either Sonos or Alexa is not interested in this working, because it just cant be this difficult to make these 2 apps work together. I am avle to choose all speakers or one by one when controlling my spotify system through the app on my iphone/ipad. But I am interested in being able to give a command over alexa and just make it happen. Frustrating. I will start looking for options out there. My patience is used up.

Alexa may be good if it speaks your native language, however it does not support Norwegian and a range of other languages. Better to go with Google Nest (I ditched my Alexa as useless) 🤬

It really sucks that one can’t install Spotify. It keeps saying that this skill is not available. The Amazon music service is full of adds and really annoying. This is not an app or a service I would recomend. It’s unnecessarily complicated. Would rather go for a Sonos or any regular bluetooth speaker.

Amazon Alexa on iOS is fairly easy to setup. I am super impressed with how all the speakers are 100% in sync when playing music from Spotify on all speakers at once. But that’s about where the positives end. It doesn’t really seem like there’s a whole lot you can use this system for. No integration with Apple Home/Siri. Some of my Dots were horrible at getting up and going. For some reason one of them just would not connect to the internet again after an update. Had to reset and start setup for that Dot over again.

It’s way too complicated having several echos in house with several users. Plus Alexa can not hardly understand anything we say when requesting songs from Spotify.

It keeps crashing when I make a account

Every time I try to open the app it gets white screen or crashes.

Jeg hadde satt stor pris på om både Alexa og selve appen var på norsk. Det er veldig vanskelig å bruke den. Jeg er ikke så flink i engelsk. Vær så snill å fiks det.

Could make it look cooler but it is Also hard to use the app cause it is like many sites and so many different buttons

Alexa fungerer bra på engelsk. Masse enheter som støttes og samspiller bedre med hjemmet mitt enn opplevelsen med Google Assistant. Skuffende at Apple Music er lagt til som støttet, men at denne støtten er begrenset til US. Det samme gjelder min Sony TV som med engelsk adresse ville fungert med Alexa. Håper dette endrer seg så smarthjemopplevelsene i Norge med Alexa blir bedre. Stemmegjenkjenningen i Alexa burde også samspille bedre med Sonos for engelsktalende kunder i Norge så en kan unngå falske treff (reagerer på tv lyd osv). Jeg anbefaler Alexa selv om det finnes områder jeg ønsker forbedret.

Totally useless. Won’t open

Something is wrong with the new version. Blank screen after the log in.

The app is completely useless. Gives us a blank screen when we try to sign in. Impossible to use.

This app is really unresponsive. Pages frequently won’t load, making the process of enabling features for amazon echo very tedious.

Impossible to sign in. Pressing “sign in” takes me to a blank screen with a blank blue button that does nothing. Not a great start

I want the English version to work on my Sonos One, but Amazon refuses to release it here... they must think Norwegians don’t speak English!

The menus are counter intuitive, and similar settings are in multiple places. The interface is clunky, and as far as I can tell, they are completely ignoring iOS design guidelines and norms for in-app navigation. Also, it’s not updated for iPhone X support.
