Amazon Kindle: Reading App Kundeservice

I thoroughly enjoy my kindle and never go a day without reading. I have so many books that I am re-reading some of my favorites. Problem is, my books are all special to me and everyone is a favorite. Thank you Kindle.

It is a very good way of reading books. I miss that if I’ve read a preview, the book doesn’t go to where I’d read in the preview when I buy the book, like it does on my Kindle. It should be possible to vary the background more. Also, a lot of really bad books have a 5 star rating on Amazon, so I end up reading bad books. It should be external evaluation on the Amazon in addition to the reader’s. But overall, a very good app!

I love this book!! Varsom and Milly will make you swoon, laugh, cry, hurt and swoon some more. Most of all, you’ll forget they’re not real. You need this book 🤩🥰

Love the new GREEN highlight color!

Now it even got a GREEN underline colour in addition to the four standard colours. All the books in the English-speaking world in on app!

Jag använder kindle nästan varje dag. Saknar funktion för utlån av böcker i mitt bibliotek samt att även kunna ge bort en av mina böcker. Vid lån sätter man ett datum då jag kan läsa boken igen och lånaren mister möjlighet att läsa. Vid gåva så försvinner boken för alltid ifrån mitt bibliotek och mottagaren har den hos sig för alltid

It’s a little annoying that “remove download” doesn’t always remove the book from “downloads”. Otherwise pretty good. Old review: “If you're gonna trick us into deleting books, the least you could do is refund them.”

I think that this app is amazing, but it could have been way better with more colors to highlight with, or a red/black underline! more colors would be amazing, and that’s about it.

When will developers think of making light gray text on a dark gray background?

Kindle er min standard for nedlastede bøker. De eer etter hvert blitt mange. Det fungerer veldig bra.

Kindle is great, but it would be greater if one could also use it to lend e-books from libraries.

Good app but I'm missing few key features: being able to add/use fonts from system, on kindle device I can upload additional fonts. One feature that I love in comparison to Kindle is reading ruler, however it's clunky and cumbersome today since you can't move it it with keybaord or scroll, just drag it with is very uncomfortable.

There’s a issue with downloading books. I just got two books, and they don’t show up on my kindle app. I have two phones, a old one I use at work, and a newer one. And the amount of books available in my library differs. Around 40 missing on the new phone. But none have the new books available.

It would be helpful to have MacOS shortcuts for navigating between two sections of the book instead of manually moving the mouse to the bottom left corner and then adjusting the cursor position. This feature would enhance my reading experience when studying academic literature, allowing me to easily switch between the main text and the references.

Amazon gir meg mer av det jeg ikke vil ha. Algoritmene pusher på med det jeg kaller dårlige bøker. Videre kommer det stadig forslag på bøker som ikke kan leveres. Vurderer å kutte ut Amazon.

Hardback books are better / but e-books are a supplement to real paper books. The latter makes comprehension and brain enhancement more achievable.

Great app, makes it easier to get into reading because you can just read when you feel like reading. The app has a lot of books, but from my experience it is hard to find other than english versions. In my opinion that’s fine, but for people struggling to read in english, this app might not be it. I have so far only struggled to find 2 out of over 30 books I have wanted to read. Overall I would definitely recommend if you like reading (especially in english).

I used to love my kindle app, but the latest version keeps crashing on my iPhone😤even though everything is updated and there is more than enough room!

Apparently having a “buy book” button in the app is too much of a hassle for amazon. Instead I need to find a book the app, get out of it, into a website in my browser, search for the book and then buy it. So simple! sic

The buildt in dictionary is so bad i can not belive this is happeing in 2025. i read chinese books, it cant even detect the text is chinese...

I have bought more than 100 books on Amazon in Kindle format. They appear as a long list, without any possibility to categorise or make a system. As far as I can find out, it will not tell you when you read a book, you can not make remarks or rank them, there is no way to tag them with keywords. In this day and age it is a dinosaur. What can you expect from Americans?

When you purchase an e-book from Amazon, you don’t actually own it. Instead, you purchase a license to access it. Prior to February 26, 2025, you could download these books and use them on any e-book reader you desired. However, as of now, this is no longer possible due to restrictions imposed by Amazon.

Kindle classic was much easie to organize into collections with sidepanel

The app is so slow, scrolling is janky, and the ability to change page layout and zoom is missing.

Etter siste oppdatering er appen ubrukelig. Den krasjer vær gang den åpnes. Har prøvd reinstallering av appen.

I prefer to read on my kindle, but it’s nice to have it, just in case. The thing that irritates me is that I can’t se my reading achievements in the app. Why?

I love to read on Kindle, but if have some complaints: * every few weeks I have to delete and download the app again, because it gets a hang up. This time it’s just 2 weeks in between /freezes * Some books are unreadable on phones, text is too small. If you sell as Kindle, make sure the format is Kindle compatible * presettings are annoying: I don’t want others marks, but would prefer the clock. Have to fix it with every download

So much more difficult now when buying books on amazon not being able to download right to my kindle app , i only buy 1/4 of the books I used to buy and I bought one every week
