Great, just a few suggestionsSo I downloaded Cake because I want to learn Korean, for my dream vacation is to Korea, and as you know, if you go to Korea, you need to learn some Korean to be able to communicate with the locals. So far, it’s pretty good, although, I do think it would help me improve more quickly if they had more speaking lessons. When the lesson requires you to watch videos, I find it hard to understand what they are saying since it’s so fast-paced. However, I just started using this app so I’m sure I’m just overreacting. I am enjoying this appI have been learning the Korean language for about 5 years now and I have used all sorts of apps, websites, books and videos to improve my language learning skills. They all have their up side and downside. Cake is one of the fewer apps that I find to actually be fun. I love BTS and learning with them as my teachers makes me want to set aside time every day. This app turns a HAVE TO into a WANT TO. Plus there is so much content available. I am never at a loss for new videos to learn from. The units are presented in an organized manner so you can follow their map or create your own based on their content. Cake covers listening, reading, writing and speaking which are all the components needed to master a language. I am an ESL teacher and I always encourage my students to use all four of those things to improve on their language building. I would recommend Cake to others especially fellow ARMY. Easy to learn!I’ve been trying to learn Korean for a while since I have been wanting to go to Korea for my next travel destination but I was afraid I was not going to understand anything at all so I decided to learn the basics but it was difficult learning by yourself. I love this app!!!I finally found an app that’s actually helped me learn Korean and I've actually retained what I've learned. Watching videos and using real life scenarios has really helped me grasp the language and made it super fun to learn! THE BETTER DUOLINGORight now, so many people are trying to learn Korean because of their favorite K-pop groups. I am one of the many people learning Korean. LOVEAs someone who consumes Korean content, I love that this app uses videos to help you understand it better. I especially like it because they replay the part you need to learn multiple times! Very fun! Never understood better.I am a big fan of K-dramas and K-pop. So much so that it is a part of my everyday life. The only problem was that I didn’t speak Korean or could be able to understand it. There’s no classes for me to learn where I live, so I’ve had to turn to apps. EVERYTHING IS PLUSI really like this app, but recently, Cake has literally made everything PLUS+ only. It is really frustrating because so many people can’t pay 13$ a month for this. I have already completed all the free classes, even the intermediate ones.
