Incredibly helpful, informative, funI am not in the navy, however I originally got this app to help prepare me for eventually commissioning into the navy, as well as just for fun with one of my buddies who is in the navy right now and has taken the real astb. We have both been using this app for the past year. This app recently came out on the mac app store around June 2024, which is incredibly helpful when it comes to the stick and throttle portion and uav portion of the astb. This makes everything about this app very similar to the actual exam. My buddy who is in the navy just took his astb the other day, after a few months of using the mac version of this app, and he got 9/8/8. Beyond helpfulAbsolutely one of the best programs you can get for ASTB preparation. The math , reading, and physics portions are all very thorough. The sim section is ESPECIALLY useful for the parking lot portion. The tracking portion for the joystick is useful for multitasking practice. The app clearly explainswhat is expected of you in each section and provides practice problems with how each problem is performed. It also categorizes each problem so you know where to look for extra practice problems. My only complaints about the app is that it locks orientation on the sim, and when you take the test it doesn’t detail the explanations for all problems relating to math and physics. My first attempt at the test was a 6,5,5 and a 52 on the OAR. With this app , along with some study books, I brought my score up to an 8,9,8 and a 57. This app ABSOLUTELY is worth every penny. Worth the Time and MoneyThis app helped me tremendously with my ASTB score. I went from a 4,5,3 on my first test attempt to a 6,8,7 using this app to help me study. It is well worth the money and I have recommended it to all my buddies trying to get a flight contract and pass the test. Scored a 6/6/7 with just this appThe ASTB was different than what is available in this app but the ideas were the same. The knowledge was extremely helpful and unfortunately didn’t get through all of it before taking the test but if I got the chance to take it again I would get a X52 joystick a few months before for the UAV test and go through all the knowledge at least once along with practicing word problems. *wink wink*.ZAcHSteVersion: 1.1.51

Worth it 100%I always recommend this app and know people that score amazing due to this. However I have some critiques. Number 1, the MCT is 30 questions not 20. Number 2, The stick and throttle sim isn’t that useful. And number 3, I wish the ANIT test had more questions especially on the higher difficulty. I’ve taken it so many times now I’ve memorized it but there’s stuff I’m still not confident on yet. Not as helpful as I hoped.I bought this app for $20 about a month ago for obvious reasons. I studied daily for several hours up until the test. I actually scored worse on the OAR section. The math in this guide is thorough but I didn’t see a single problem that was like the ones I had studied on here actually translate to the test. I will say this app did help tremendously with the UAV section and a minute amount of ANIT information. These sections are really the only ones that benefitted me. Incredible prepI am a retired Naval Aviator. My generation took the AQT-FAR test for flight school aptitude. My oldest is a Midshipman NROTC 2/c and used this prep as one of his primary pillars of study. His exam score was a 8/9/8. Max is 9/9/9. An 8/9/8 is considered an incredible score. On an exam where you only can take it 3 times and last full score counts, to score that high on the first test is amazing and a testament to how well this prep works. Well worth it, especially the UAV portionFor $8 it’s well worth it. You can use workbooks or look up gouge on top of just this app, but I’d recommend spending the money on this. The UAV test portion is about as close to the test as you can get. The lessons are good for review and test can give you explanations on some wrong answers. Some Math Questions have incorrect answers and walkthroughsWasn’t sure how to contact the developer so just figured I’d leave a review. First, the UAV portion and Terrain Identification are worth the app on its own, but if you’re refreshing for some basic math concepts it’s frustrating when the answers aren’t present and the explanation is incorrect. The question I encountered (and took pictures of) was (11²/4)/(5^5 x 2). PBMSo far the app looks great. Very comprehensive! Only complaint I can see is Eventually the PBM sim bogs down my phone and begins to crash the app as too many targets generate. Even when it seems like I should have a lock it doesn’t shoot but keeps adding targets at a rapid pace. Best score is 11 so far. SOME ANSWERS ARE WRONGOverall amazing app. Uav portion is worth the money alone. But some answers for are wrong. Misleading, especially to those trying to learn the subjects for the first time. Question with 14 books is supposed to be 40 not 54. And the uav portion, the building in the middle should be a tent, not a building. Amazing on your phone, could be better on MACASTB Prep has been incredibly helpful for me, especially with the UAV/Terrain identification, I crushed that stuff my first time taking the exam. Only issue is you cannot scroll on the Mac. Solid ASTB Study MaterialI recently took the ASTB and scored 63 8/8/7 on the exam. This app was a huge help in me attaining those scores especially in the performance based measures section of the test. The UAV and terrain identification on this app is practically identical to the real test and I highly recommend using it to prepare. The material in the syllabus was also nice as it generally encompasses the majority of the material asked in the actual ASTB.
