The three options for your notes are Notes, Chat, and Transcript. These features provide better studying methods. The Notes option allows you to look at an organized system of notes, with highlighted subsections and easy-to-read auto generated graphs or pictograms. The Chat feature allows you to ask questions about the topics discussed, so if you’re still confused, you can make sure that you get that needed clarification. The Transcript option allows you to read the words themselves, spoken by your teacher or professor, which turns out to be quite helpful if you are trying to simply scribe your notes in your own words, or are looking for an unsimplified definition of something. Absolutely Incredible!Turbolearn AI is the greatest note taking app out there. I have tried Coconote, Transcribe, and Otter; none of those apps come close to offering the usability, performance, and accuracy that Turbolearn has. I’ll be honest, at first, I was skeptical about the idea of this product. However, after using it for several quarters at Northwestern, it had revolutionized how much I can retain after a lecture as the majority of my time is spent absorbing the professor’s lectures, rather than frantically scribbling down something that half the time I cannot understand. I have used this on a variety of subjects from political science, statistics, engineering, and economics. ImpressedI am throughly impressed by this app. I downloaded it because my Communication teacher talks way too fast in our lectures and he does not put up any notes on the projector nor does he follow some document that we could also follow. We just have to write as he talks, so I decided to use this. I was very skeptical because my teacher gets sidetracked and students like to discuss a variety of things in class. However this ai understood what was side conversation and what was important for the topic. It took some of the most organized notes I have ever seen!! DeletionI think the app is great. Marvelous. However, once you create a recording, and generate notes, you can’t delete the generated notes. If you mess up or something you don’t need is recorded, you can’t delete it. It just gets confusing with the actual notes you really need. It nice tho. Also I wish you could have a feature where if you want notes to be shorter and just overall make the notes and everything more of the important content and scrap out the non important stuff that’d be great. But if anything, I’d really just be asking for the deleting part, so that junk notes aren’t mixed with the actual important notes. Great app for my classes and homework. Not that badThis app is pretty good if your specifically reading information or the teachers lecturing but in any other environment where not everything said is specifically related to the topic, it won’t generate notes. And another thing, I was reading my textbook aloud and hoping it would generate good notes for me and I got a phone call in the middle of it (I did not even pick up) and when the person stopped calling I was back into Turbolearn it had reset everything and it was I had never started recording. Not bad but not reliableThe app does have a lot of potential, but iv tried using it and these are my problems: First of all the app doesn't allow me to hear the recording i recored which is annoying and makes me want to go back to voice messages. Even so, it does allow me to read what Im hearing but it might hear wrong and not have accurate readings, Second of all whenever Id ask the chat a question the only answer it would give me is “I don’t know” Iv asked it about 3 times until it told me Iv reached my limit texting for free and I had to pay or something like that. But I wont lie the app does take notes for you, but you’d still want to listen to your own voice messages and have a working chat, if it doesn't work then might as-well remove it. Good but has minor bugsI tested this app by recording me solving for a limit with a complex conjugate. The AI was able to pick up on my dialogue, however, when put into notes, the math work didn't fully generate correctly. For example, I'm solving lim x->0 (root(2)-root(2/x))/x. The AI generates the problem as: Example: Finding the Limit of $$\frac{\sqrt{2} - \sqrt{2 - x}}{x}$$ as x approaches 0. Works 9 times out of 10It’s a great app, however, the audio never uploaded for one of my classes. The class had ended 48 hours prior and the audio was still trying to upload. It never did, the app crashed and I never got the notes for that class. I emailed support but never got a response. Yesterday I recorded the same class again and yet again it’s still uploading. At the time of this review it is 3:14pm est, the last class on Tuesdays and Thursdays end at 3:50pm est. the audio has been trying to upload since 3:50pm est yesterday. Other than that I like the app. Support needs major improvement though. It’s very frustrating when I have a problem but never get a response Edit: it keeps crashing when trying to upload audio causing me to lose the notes for that class. Absolutely no support from developers even though I’ve emailed and sent a message through the dashboard on my laptop. This has happened twice now. I need the notes for the class. App to website cohesion is awful and full of bugsThe website and app are both incredibly buggy and really hard to navigate. I liked the features though, so I bought access to the full premium features through the app, but when I tried to log into the website, it wouldn’t let me login using the credentials I’d entered into the app. As it stands, I can only log into my account on the app, but most of the actual usable features are only available on the website. I tried to reset the password, but every time I tried I got an error message or the website would glitch out. I tried to make a new account, but the website said that my email was already in use, but still wouldn’t let me login into my account or reset my password. I reached out to support to get help logging into my account on the website, but no one ever got back to me, even though I’ve messaged them twice. Horrible customer serviceAs a college student studying nursing, I love how this takes my lectures and turns it into notes for me. I can then pay more attention in class then write my notes later. I have been using this app for over a year. This week, I had a 2 hour lecture that is now stuck in failed uploads. I contacted customer service and, at first, they seemed eager to help. But he wasn’t telling me anything that I hadn’t already tried. Then he wasn’t telling me to try from my computer. But then he quit responding when I asked how I get a failed upload off my phone. The next day, I had a recording tell me the generation failed and to try again. I contacted customer service again and have not heard anything back.
