UnTrap For YouTube Kundenservice

Sehr tolle App, mit vielen sinnvollen Anapassungmöglichkiten. Vielen Dank. Ein kleiner negativer Aspekt: Es gibt die Einstellung die „Automatische Videowidergabe zu deaktivieren“ funktioniert leider nicht. Die Videos werden trotzdem auf der Startseite, Suchseite, Aboseite, etc. beim scrollen automatisch gestartet.

Manchmal macht YT Bemühungen seine süchtigmachenden Elemente doch wieder auf Zwang anzuzeigen aber die Entwickler dieser App passen auf & nach ein paar Tagen funktioniert alles wieder wie es soll & YT ist hiermit auch wieder nutzbar ohne krasse Verdummung zu riskieren (Beste App/Erweiterung die ich je gekauft habe 👍👍👍)

Richtig gute Extension welche die Gefahr in eine Endlosschleife aus Videos zu geraten erheblich senkt. Man kann auch enorm viel einstellen, zum Beispiel dass man wenn man auf ein Short klickt nicht in den Short Feed geschickt wird sondern in auf die normale Videopage. Die 2€ sind es alle male Wert.

Habe die Erweiterung gerade heruntergeladen und eingerichtet. Die Anpassungsmöglichkeiten sind hervorragend. Übrigens habe ich sie gleich im Bundle mit der Erweiterung gekauft, um Instagram einzuschränken. Das würde ich ebenfalls empfehlen.

Super umgesetzt. Ich mag die vielen Einstellungen. Leider funktioniert derzeit die Funktion „angesehene Videos ausblenden“ auf der Seite Abonnements nicht.

There is no room for improvement here, it‘s perfect! Especially because, when you go to a different page on YT, the extension shows you the option for that page.

With some help from ChatGPT pretty easy to set up for personal needs. In my case, I deactivated the recommended page on the right when a video us playing. Super helpful for my attention span

They are tryig to keep us watching shorts and related vidoes in an endless loop. It has become hell. With UnTrap I can finally disable all the distractions and watch what i want to watch. And leave, when I wannt to leave. Thank you!

It is near perfect for me, the only feature I would like, is to be able to schedule the extension to be active as well as the blocking function.

I love the extension and have been using it for a while but currently many features like hide suggestions or grayscale thumbnails don’t work anymore. I think YouTube changed the ui so Untrap needs an update fixing this

Getting rid of all the unnecessary bloat on this website.

Great app, everything works well, good functions and options, got everything it needs with one gamechanging exception. If somehow, for whatever reason, however it were possible to add the Option to deactivate the unbelievably annoying and stupid automatic language synchronisation of YouTube, it’d be a gamechanging advancement to the app. It’d be an actual 5 star type, actual profit generating type, let me buy this ship just for the sake of that one function type advancement, cause it seems like literally all of youtube‘s users are annoyed by that synchronisation. Also, as far as I know until now there isn’t any possibility to turn it off, at least non that I‘d be aware of. Besides all of that I wanted to state one last time again, that you really did an excellente Job with the App. Love it

I was already using Opera add ons to improve productivity on my PC. It is very useful to be able to customise YouTube on the mobile devises as well.

It’s a great extension but 2 days ago it stopped blocking shorts on YouTube (was able to fix it eventually by turning it off and on again in Safari)

Like so many I was trapped in the endless scroll. For me it was YouTube most of all. With Untrap I have now slimmed down my browser feed to only my subscriptions. Any function like the home feed, where I would unintentionally spend hours just clicking on what Youtube wanted me to click on is now gone and YouTube has become a source of information and learning about my interests. ABSOLUTELY recommend this App <3

The extension is exactly what you need if you have YouTube addiction, but still need to watch some content every once in a while.

I've been looking for a decent extension to block YouTube shorts and finally found this. And it's so much more than just a shorts blocker. You can basically adjust almost every aspect of YouTube and it all just works. Two things that are missing are a way to return the dislikes on videos, but I found another app for that, and the ability to choose a set quality setting for videos.

This extension really tries to reduce my YouTube consumption and it is successful. First of all, I love how quickly the developer implements new ideas. I hated the new like animation and now I can disable it, THANK YOU! I am really thankful for the extension because it makes Youtube less addictive, which makes me less addicted to Youtube. This extension really adds a lot of value for me.

Not working in the Youtube application though. They never advertised that it would work in the YT App too and due to that I do not want to rate the extension bad. Just be aware of that.

Seit dem letzten update wurde der adblocker entfernt, sehr schade das bereits vorhandene Feature entfernt wurden… Das ausblenden von shorts funktioniert trotzdem sehr gut.

Greift ausserhalb des Browsers zu was für eine Browser Exstantion auch ohne geht. Meine Firewall spielt da nur verrückt. Habe auch andere Tools auf dem Browser die schon änliches machen und das net machen. Finger weg!!! Wollte ich eigtl kaufen da mir eine option fehlt zum Blockieren aber meine Daten sind mir wichtiger als so ein Tool

Die Idee ist gut aber es macht keinen Spaß es zu nutzen. Der Reiter „Shorts“ ist wie gewünscht weg. Die Nutzung von YouTube aber sehr bescheiden. Es laggt, die Bedienung reagiert nach oder funktioniert nicht. Hintergrundwiedergabe stoppt (hab premium) wenn man was anderes macht. Es macht einfach keinen Spaß wie die originale App. Schade.

I downloaded the app and followed all the necessary instructions and allowing it to connect to safari. I restarted my phone twice aswell but when I open zoutube in safari nothing has changed. Can somebody help ? :(

Was really happy with the adblocker, but it got removed with the last update. Overall las Update was a basically all the features of the app dont work half the time, really disappointing.

The blocked time span feature unfortunately does not allow to add more than two time spans

It’s not the fault of the app. It’s the fault of the disgusting state of the modern web. Anyhow, this app advertises to fix annoyances. It does not. It adds more. It completely destroys Youtube on Safari. The page doesn’t load, takes forever to load or crashes the whole browser. And it’s not just Youtube. It extends to other websites of the Big Tech mafia. Amazon - completely crippled. Reddit - useless. I wish this app would do what it says without making my browser unusable. Too bad it doesn’t.

Can’t hide items on the left menu, this extension is ignored by YouTube.

Make sure to read the app description till the End. This app only works on YouTube website accessed via the browser and doesn’t work with the YouTube App. If you only use the YouTube app, you’ll make a purchase of an app that would be pretty useless to you.

The Scheduled Block function is just bad designed. 1. Why can’t I create more than 2 time blocks? As soon as there are 2 time blocks, the + button is replaced with a - button. Seems like a bug. 2. Not being able to use different times for different days of the week: On one day I want to use YouTube a limited time and on the other not at all. Sadly that’s not possible. Please improve both these flaws.
