I have had this app for a long time and I must say that this a great app for reading books. I have never had a bad experience with reading and I truly love this app. It’s a great way to start your journey on Wattpad.

But I do apologize for saying I dislike the new update. I liked it better when you had all your stories to read whenever and wherever, regardless of internet

Like the app but kinda annoying when there is a 30 second ad after every chapter....

Love the app but most of the time I can’t search anything, it just says there are no results but I know that there is and I can’t find the books that I want☹️

I love the app so much! I spend hours reading on it every day, however I wish it was free. All the ads in between the chapters and one shots are kind of disturbing and distracting.

Hi. I have been trying to reinstall the app but it won’t let me, it starts preparing for download but then fully stops and it won’t work. What’s happening?

It’s great and all but I don’t like the fact that someone literally said to me “kill yourself” it’s like they know i have a horrible life and i just see it daily now. It’s hurtful and the fact i have been through many times where i have wanted to kill myself is just horrible. Please take the report and do something about it cause it just hurts me

Hello, so this app is absolutely fantastic for new authors to connect with a community. As someone who has loved writing since fourth grade, this is a fantastic opportunity for small writers to gain recognition in a wonderful community. I haven't met many people yet, but I'm sure and I know this community is wonderful. There are many different books, including tutorials on how to accomplish things. I don't see why I should vote less than 5 stars, so 5 stars it is:) Apologies if this is a bit long 🫶🏻

I think its new but it annoys me so much, its ads at the bottom of the page while reading, just distracts me and they are so bright and colorful and just so bad place to put ads. Please do something about it

This is an excellent place to read stories, but the ads get really annoying after a while, and premium is kinda expensive, maybe if you could make ad free viewing a one time payment, or lower the subscription fee, that would be really nice.

I love the app, but it is slightly annoying when there is an ad inbetween every chapter.

I’ve been on Wattpad since 2015. And I loved it back then and still do. But there are a few things that have become frustrating in the last few updates. Especially the new look. Not a huge fan. I would have preferred the old logo but the new colours. The update also changed my profile a bit and that’s what I hate most of all. I’m very connected in making things look nice and stand out and this new update has ruined it for me. I absolutely hate going on there and not seeing the profile I worked hard in creating. There are also other things such as the archive not working properly, books showing up after having been deleted, books disappearing completely and technical errors such as the app suddenly crashing. Many other individuals on Wattpad have probably had the or face the same issues. I know the Wattpad team and developers work hard on their updates and things like that, but maybe there just needs to be more of a connection because it feels a little bit robotic. I say this because of the unsatisfactory use of the Wattpad support help you access though the app. Other than that, I have no issues, but I just hope that this can be taken into consideration and discussed by the minds behind Wattpad.

I do love Wattpad and I’ve used it for years, but something that’s ALWAYS bothered me is the search system, or rather lack of. I tend to prefer AO3 instead of Wattpad because the search system there is so in-depth and it makes it so much easier to find the stories you like. I’m not saying Wattpad needs to be as detailed as AO3, but even just being able to sort stories by votes or reviews etc. would help immensely. Also, when I specifically search for one thing, I always tend to get stories that are completely unrelated to what I searched for and it’s quite frustrating, so even just refining what’s already there would help greatly.

I could not get in to my own acount, after i typed my email, at forgotten password. Even tho It was correct.

I have this really annoying problem where no matter how i go into the app it stops working after like 30 seconds, really annoying when i’m trying to reply to a comment or write my books, other than that. the apps fine

Finding decent books with topics or themes you like is an actual nightmare with this app. The ability to narrow down what you’re looking for is basically non-existent except the basic genre. There are also a lot of ads and other unnecessary clutter. I would not recommend this app to anyone.

The app is okay but the stories are awful. Literally so disgusting, sexualizing children?! Come on.

Tells me to update my email, i do so and just get kicked out of the app. repeat.

It’s amazing, but it won’t let me log in. I was going too change my username then it suddenly threw me out, I tried too log in and use the app on Safari, which worked hire well. But when I went too the app, the password suddenly didn’t work anymore. I tried multiple times and a hell lot of passwords but it just threw me out. I tried resetting my device but the app still didn’t work. Can someone explain?

Way to many ads!

I have enjoyed the stories and all but all of a sudden the app started closing by itself and no help was given and now 2 weeks after trying to get help and deleting and installing the app. The problem still persisted so I am now done with this and the app.

Great app, but got thrown out Of my user, and when i rejoined, amost all Of my stories were gone and I can’t find the once’s I was reading.

So I was just going out and about on wattpad when I searched for something I have searched for before (Max Verstappen) don’t judge haha! But then suddenly no books showed. I tried everything, I tried spelling, big and small letters and I tried logging out but it didn’t work. I’m currently re-installing and I hope it works. Edit: now why are there suddenly so many ads? Like after every chapter I have to wait 30 SECONDS that’s actually crazy💀

Yet another bad update 🙄 the app itself is good but they always make these random updates to the structure mostly that comes LITERALLY while IN the app that you can’t control. Like when I reply to a comment I want there to be it’s own little room for THAT comment like it was before. But now it’s just all in the main comment section and it’s so messy and annoying. I also hate that we can’t copy paste something in the comments. I get we can’t cope the authors work ofc. But I mean like commenting GIF’s and stuff. We could do that before but not anymore… AND REVOVE THE ADDS INSIDE THE BOOKA

I tried making an account but it just says ‘sorry based on the information you have provided, we couldn’t make an account for you’ and i did everything i had to! Idk what to do😭

Good, but when you re-read a book you have in archived the book disappears - so unhappy because the book was amazing and I can’t even remember the name of it - please fix that

Just why would you delete the BEST fanfic of all time with over millions of reads???? stupid move. makes no sense

Hello, I have tried registering in a few different ways now. But everytime I click “sign up” I just get a message saying “we couldn’t create an account for you with the information you have provided us”. Or something close to that. But the point is that I can’t log in or make an account no matter what I do! Is there a help and support website I can visit? If yes, please reply.

I used to love being on Wattpad and writing my own stories on there, but over time I noticed that us creators that are considered “Normal readers” gets less recognition on the front page like we used to do, now when you open it up all you get is the front page blasted with paid stories that has been turned into movies or series or just from really big writers from the app while us smaller writers gets overshadowed. I’ve grown to dislike the app because of this and even though it’s a great app to make you’re own stories in you won’t really be recongnized cause of the paid stories over shining them.

I have this application for 12 years and I love it very much, but after this latest update, the ads became too many, and after the last update and after the ios16 update, the application did not open or work at all. I hope you fix the problem

I have to make a new password every time I log in on my laptop🙄 y’all need to fix ur login stuff especially the password!! Now I can’t login even when I reset my password
