Great tool for quick learningI just passed the SY0 601 and it was mostly in thanks to this app although I used several other resources. I did the one time purchase and think it’s worth it. My study toolkit consisted of reading the Sybex security + study guide, then I watched Jason Dions course material on Udemy while simultaneously using this app every night before bed or standing in line or whatever, then commited to the practice tests this offers (averages around 90% toward the end) as well as Jason Dions practice tests on Udemy (averaged around 82-86%). The questions on this app are pretty simple so I recommend diversifying your practice questions but it will definitely help you understand the concepts. Passed Security+Just passed my Security+ SYO-601 exam, and I cannot understate how useful this app was in the process. Questions are well-written and have excellent explanations, the app looks and feels well-done, and the Pro version especially has an excellent feature set for practicing. I highly recommend the app, the free version is pretty good, but honestly the number of questions and material that is available in the Pro version is well worth the full price. Actually really helpful - Passed Security+I was nervous about using this app at first - worried it wouldn’t have relevant or accurate content, but that wasn’t the case at all. I answered all 850+ questions at least once, then took a few Jason Dion practice exams and was able to pass the Security+ (601) this past weekend. And I only used the free version, even with all the ads 100% worth it! I already have the A+ and Net+, so that helped me pass for sure. I suggest using this app in addition to other learning materials if you’re new to IT and networking. ONE TIME PURCHASEThanks for not making this a stupid subscription app. This is a good text exam question quizlet/flash card type of app with a roadmap illustration and nice organization. Use this with a book or Udemy class and you will be fine dont buy the stupid intensive subscription courses unless you really have ZERO experience in the field; even then I think they are mostly a scam and will offer not much more than any other apps. For everyone else this and a good study book will take you to the finish line easily. Just Passed the SY0-601I was a little shocked to find this app while going through resources to help me study. Paid for the subscription and let me just tell you. It came in clutch. What I like about it the most are the explanations to the questions regardless if you get them right or wrong. What I noticed while taking the Sec+ exam was how easy the questions were compared to this app. This means if you’ve able to ace these questions then there’s no doubt you’ll do the same on the exam. 10/10 would recommend to add to your resource. Great Study AppI really like the interface and keeping you on track. It’s easy to feel discouraged if you miss quite a few in a row but reading all the answer descriptions (even the ones you get right) really help! When I took the exam, I didn’t get many that were similar but it is more about the concepts and they way to think about the topics that really help. I almost purchased the full version but I had to take my exam due to time. For a free app, you get over 400 questions and a practice exam. I highly recommend. Excellent Study ToolProps to developers, this really is a great study tool. I am usually strongly against payment walls to turn off ads, but this app provides so much that I felt it was appropriate. The one time fee is also amazing as many IT learning tools use pricy subscriptions based models. The app is also very usable without paying if you don’t want to. I love the visual learning graph as sometimes it can be hard to visualize progress for long term studying. Passed the Sec+This app helped me pass the sec+ on its own. It has every question and term that came up on the test. It was an extremely helpful resource in making sure I was ready to take the test. If you get pro for this app, which I used, it helps learn every term with detailed explanations. These explanations also cover why the answer is right or wrong and why the other answers aren’t the right pick for that question. Passed sec+This was a great supplemental app the study for multiple choice questions. It was especially perfect for when I was out and about, and needed something to study on the fly. The questions were great in giving a deeper understanding oh why answers are correct. I recommend to use multiple resources such as Dion’s exams and professor messer’s exams, along with this app. That’s what I did at least and it worked out for me, but I can confidently say this app will not prepare you for performance based questions. Great App for CompTIA Sec+ StudyingHas the right types of questions, good explanations of correct answers, and gives you the format for the MC portion of the exam, not sure if it has PBQs but does a solid job for the MC. Has a good study path depending on your study timeframe, prior knowledge and expectations (trying to just pass or acing the exam). Great App, 1 mistakeI think this app is great, i havent taken my Security+ exam yet but i remember picking an answer regarding the safest way of ensuring API requests are legit and it marked my answer as wrong (said i selected a different answer than what i actually did). This is affecting my practice test score which i am using to gauge my test taking skills to determine when i am ready for the exam. With this throwing off my score how can i correctly make this determination? Accurate ScoresI purchased the Pro version and went through all of the available questions over the course of a few weeks at night before bed. At the same time I read through my Security+ textbook. Once I was done going through the questions, I took the in-app practice exams and averaged consistently in the high 80s. Small gripe, overall very good!The questions are great and premium is a must. I was able to pass after studying for only a week using this app in combo with chat gpt. My main issue with the app is you can’t cancel your subscription from inside the app you have to do it from the App Store. I also wish there was a way to report weather or not you passed! Right when you open the app it says something like 90% of our users pass the exam but that has to be a lie because I actively looked and there is no way to tell them if you passed or not. The content is good enough where their claims could be accurate but without the option available that stat is clearly made up. Liked it but not for my versionI love the way this is designed. It is very easy to pick up and start practicing for the exam. Unfortunately I did not realize this only has content for the 701 and I have been studying for the 601 that expires in a few months. There is enough difference in the content covered to make me get low scores on these practice exams compared to much higher scores on the 601 practice exams I got from Professor Messer, Jason Dion and Mike Myers/Total Seminars. Mostly good, glaring error foundOverall, I love it. The information is mostly on point, I won’t go into that, you can read all the other comments. I found a question regarding the cyber kill chain. The answer found in this app is just wrong. It uses some 8 step cyber kill chain that is not what Comptia uses. Comptia uses the 7 step cyber kill chain outlined by Lockheed Martin. On the go and easyUsed this for about a month to pass my sec+ on my first try. Doesnt always go into a ton of detail on all answers but is great to keep your mind thinking especially for memorization and on the go learning. You will PASSWas stressing about taking the Sec+ exam and 3 days before I downloaded this and cram studied with it. The questions will prepare you for the test and you’ll be able to see your weak areas to focus on. Best option, but definitely imperfect.I’ve used this app for my CCNA, Sec+ 601 & 701, and paid for all three. Overall the questions are relevant and tactful. But around 10% of the questions have the actual best answer for industry standards labeled as wrong. I just had the the app tell me that “data backups” was the best preventative control over “security cameras”. No pretext in the question, legit just asked “what’s the best preventative control?” That’s not the first time 4 different premier ai models contested and linked to numerous articles from security & networking juggernauts explaining how that was wrong. IMO this app has the best overall sets of questions in varying difficulties that may be present on the exams they train for, but having explicitly incorrect answers peppered in between is not cool. The only issue is that you only get like gen questions from each unit and then after that you have to make a one time payment of 4.99. DecentHonestly, I wanted to really like this app but the more I’ve used it the more inconsistencies I find. And it just starts confusing me more and more. There’s a bunch of inconsistencies. Sometimes a question starts by mentioning either a man or woman, then flips it around by calling them the opposite gender. Or the names all of the sudden change. There was one question that calls the person “Valerie.” And when you see the correct answer and explains why it’s correct, the answer calls her “Yasmine.”😂 Some questions seem to not make much sense. For example there’s a question about using POP3 but using it with TLS. Which from my studying it’s supposed to use port 995. According to this app the answer says it still uses POP3 unencrypted port of 110. I looked online to make sure and yea…POP3 port 110 doesn’t support SSL/TLS. So the actual answer was supposed to be POP3S on port 995. But the was not one of the answer choices. Point is. It’s decent for what it is. But the amount of errors makes me lose faith that this actually helps. How can I trust this app to help if it can’t even get names/genders/answers correct? Dates Always ResetLove the app, the explanations are great but they really really need to fix the setting where you set the exam date. The moment you change the date it resets your daily tracking progress. So like say for example I started using the App on March 1 and set my exam to March 10. If I decide to push my exam date to March 15 and in the app and the current day is say March 5 it sets March 5 as my start date and erases the tracking I have from March 1-4 so now I can't see my progress such as how many questions I did on day 1-4. It still keeps the overall progress like say I answered 200 questions day 1-4 that progress is still kept but I just cant see how many questions I answered individually each day on March 1-4.Andyla80Version: 3.9.1

Would be better with less clumsy writingSo many of these questions are written in a way that lacks clarity. Too often, the answer choices given for a question are... weird. I can't tell whether I should expect the exam questions to be this confusing or if the app creator just did a bad job with the content. Grammar Mistakes, Display IssuesThis app has a multitude of grammar mistakes and incorrect, poorly worded questions and answers. Definitely seems like a non-native speaker copied and pasted information from one of their Security+ textbooks. Some of the answers are not even within the answer section, i.e., they are part of the question itself and you cannot select them to get the right answer — you inevitably have to select a wrong answer to proceed to the next question.
