Simple and easy to use.Hi. New Christian here. I just picked this up Thursday and I love it! Not only am I able to read God's word, but it also gives you a daily scripture and devotional. I'm also able to bookmark and save scriptures and make notes on it too. The search makes everything easy to find. I also bought the commentary and Strong's concordance, as well as download the KJV so that I can fully understand everything and make sure everything I interpret from the Bible stays in its context, and I LOVE how easy it is to switch between everything, keeping you at the very same spot. Also love how just from turning my phone sideways can pull up the commentary and bible side by side. I recommend this to everyone. Plus I can read it ANYWHERE!!!!.PoopysquattVersion: 7.11.7

As a pastor with lots of resources, I find this app to be my go-to on the phone Bible.Over the past 15 years or so, I have invested thousands of dollars into digital books and resources to help read, study, understand, preach, and live the Bible. And while I do use those resources, many of them are for specific uses, or get too bogged down in either clutter or navigation. Therefore, I have found myself returning to this app over and over again. I have purchased a couple of the Bibles in the app, and they are remarkably similar to the feel of the hard copy for an app, and as I mentioned, they do this while still maintaining ease of use! For anyone starting out, let me highly recommend getting the app and then purchasing the “Quest Study Bible” within. I find the questions and answers in that Bible to be most often the questions people are asking about each passage. One more thing that I love about the app? Bible AppI love this bible app! It’s my go to bible every Sunday because I can flip to the right passage fast enough but I don’t lose any conveniences I had with my actual bible like being able to take notes and highlight verses. My only wish would be able to underline AND highlight at the same time in the Bible as well as in my notes. Otherwise I love this app! I’ve switched phones even and had no problem getting my backup synced to my new phone. I’ve bought two other versions besides the KJV: the ESV and the NIV. Simple and easy to useI’m not a pastor or scholar, just a gal that likes to study the word and enjoy my morning devotional. I was looking for an app that was geared for women, but have yet to find one that really works for me. This app had so many positive reviews that I thought I would give it a try. I’m so glad I did! Godly wisdom shared with others.I really enjoy sending your insightful verses and devotions to a group of Godly gals. The words are always just what the girls and I needed to hear, at just the right time. Words directly from the Lord! God uses these devotion to share His word. Never disappointed!As a theology instructor and teacher of bible history I rely on quick and accurate teaching materials. Tecarta has become my Bible and discussion resource since 2010. With more than a dozen versions of Holy scripture at my fingertips I am never without biblical sources all while using a single device. My new favorite app!That sounds fickle, but I have several bible apps, all are useful, HOWEVER I use to have a different bible app as my go to study app...sad to say their updates are trending in the wrong direction for me while Tecarta keeps updating in a positive direction! A mark of approval!The best bible app I have used! Two things I really love is the option to do black and white. I can't stand reading at night with a white light background, so I definitely love the option to go back and fourth if needed. Another thing is the ease of note taking in the app, I use and iPad version and it makes it simple and efficient for me to put up and add a note on a specific verse or chapter. Almost perfect!I've studied and preached God's word for 30 years, and owned almost ever Bible software package available. Tecarta is hands down the best electronic Bible ever. Intuitive and streamlined, I turn to it over and over again. There is only one addition I would make to it if I could: just a little formatting capacity in the personal notes section. Cheated out of biblesI’ve had the NIV/NASB-Strong’s app for almost a decade. When I had my recent iPhone upgraded I lost all data and purchased Bible materials. Best Bible AppI searched high and low in the App Store for a good Bible app. Many require a constant Internet connection. Many also clutter the experience with Facebook and Twitter integration. What happened to just the Bible? Then I found this app … and it's everything I was looking for. It stores notes and bookmarks (and syncs from iPhone to iPad). Translations I download/purchase are available offline, but if I want to read a different translation without buying it, I have access to Tecarta's entire online library. I took a chance on this as I wanted an NIV bible on my iPod touch and the others were quite a bit more. It's great! Quite intuitive and it is easy to navigate from book to book. The words of Christ in red is nice as is the general formatting where paragraphs are defined and it is not just one long list of verses clumped together. NIV Bible Negative Reviews

Customer Service Not GoodI’ve asked for a few easy improvements multiple times with promises that the will be coming shortly. They never do. Tercarta promises one thing multiple times, but never deliver. For example, I’ve asked for more than 4 colors to highlight text. Tecarta says “it’s in the next update”. Or, it’s coming soon. It’s been YEARS. The app rarely upgrades anything significant. They just don’t to spend money on simple fixes and upgrades. I’m not simply complaining, but if you don’t do what you say you will do, that’s on you. Disappointing someone can’t add a few more colors and a few other tools. Decarta simply has to check my e-mail support threads to see what I’m talking about. They promised even more with no changes to the app. I’m ready to exit this app except I have purchases. Not impressed any longerI have no idea what happened to my favorite bible! Something changed this afternoon and I can no longer read this as a book, it was great just sliding over to the next page. Whatever happened?? It is now either one long page eg: 1 Corinthians 15 (all verses on one page)and I am unable to get to the next chapter! I have to use the tab at the top and go through steps to get to Chapter 16! Or there are 2 columns with the same chapter side by side!! Search capabilities lackingI have been using several versions of the Tecarta Bible App for several years now and love it. It is simple to use with the ability to make notes, highlight and copy verses, and make folders and notes within. Great features but I have so many notes and folders now I need a search engine within the notes and folders and have been asking Tecarta to add this for years now.
