I am absolutely tired of the polarization of politics in the United States. At many news outlets, it seems like their reporter bias is stronger than actual facts. The Pour Over isn’t like that. They don’t write news stories. They just tell you the news – not from a Christian perspective or any other perspective – they just say what is happening. The Christian worldview aspect is their response to the news that is presented separately. And they constantly remind you that Jesus didn’t say, “they will know you by your politics.” They encourage hope, peace, and love in Christ from an eternal perspective. Thank you, TPO. I hope other outlets take note and emulate this style of news delivery.

I used to be completely out of touch with world news and didn’t know where to start. The Pour Over has helped me understand what is happening around the world without being constantly overwhelmed with more articles than I can handle. This app helps keep news in its rightful place.

Truly a great app and company! So glad to have access to news but also encouragement through that. My only qualm with the app is the rewards system. It’s nice to offer free items and swag but feel like there isn’t a very good way of obtaining points. I know the main source is the referrals, but feel like should be able to obtain a point each day there is a newsletter and between 5-10 points weekly.

I got exhausted from reading skewed news articles with skepticism and criticism. When I downloaded The Pour Over, I was relieved to read simple and clean news with a Christian perspective. I can stay updated without being overwhelmed with information and anxiety.

I like this app. It’s easy to navigate and it doesn’t overwhelm you with news. Now there isn’t a search option or a ton of article so if you live for the news this might not be for you. But for someone that wants to know what’s happening but in a non biased way, this is a must.

It is glaringly obvious today that the news outlets have changed their priority to emotional manipulation for political advantage and delivering the actual story has taken a side seat if considered at all. TPO gives the stories that matter with a dose of Biblical wisdom to wash it down. No drama, no manipulation. Just the news.

As long-time reader of the TPO email newsletter, I jumped at the opportunity to check my email less often. The app has a much more prayerful, calm experience and I leave feeling informed and less anxious in 5 minutes!

The Pour Over does an excellent job of giving just the facts of the top news stories while reminding me that no matter what is happening in the world, our God is still bigger!

I have been so upset with the 24 hour news cycle and how it leaves me feeling anxious. TPO is the only news source I need to stay smart, but focus on Christ!

This simple app has been a great boon to my engaging the news through the lenses of the Bible. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to bring devotion and information together in a simple package.

I love this app. It may not go really in depth into stories but I use it as a kind of Christian supplement to the news that helps me reframe my orientation to that of the Lord while giving me biblical passages to pray upon.

Awesome news and awesome descriptions. Really is just stating the facts! I do agree that they should try to continue to cover more stories and maybe add a search bar so you can find coverage on specific topics!! Otherwise, it’s going great so far!

Quick direct Information. With all you need and none of the extra stuff to enrage you at another party or group.

I appreciate this news channel yet the advertising for “not liberal not conservative” is strange. Jesus knew nothing of acceptance of abortion and the sexual revolution, neither would he have accepted any of it. You cannot be a follower of Christ while openly affirming liberal politics in modern day America. Bad advertising on the company’s part.

This app is great because it helps me stay current on big events, while preventing me from feeling bogged down by things happening around the globe.

I live that i know this is written with a biblical lens and all that i need to know is in these words. I just want the facts and a biblical perspective and this is where i get it.

I had a lot of hope for this app. I wanted to find a Christian based, unbiased news source and when I saw this I thought I hit the jackpot. At this time, the amount of news stories is very limited and if I’m being honest, mostly uninteresting. There’s no search bar either. I do like the bits of Christian articles but at this time it does not serve as a good news source and will be uninstalling :(
