Shapes.inc - AI With Friends Customer Service

I cannot overstate how use friendly this app is to use. It makes it so fun to shape your own ai exactly how you want. The staff and moderation are all on point, always responding in a timely manner, catching issues and patching them, keeping people posted on updates, and being overall fantastic support. I cannot oversell Shapes because it’s just THAT good. I’ve been using it for over 2 years now and am still finding it fun and engaging

I absolutely adore this app so far. However, I do have a small criticism. I do wish that it had a swipe mechanic like c.ai did. As in swiping your screen to regenerate the character’s chat instead of clicking the side menu, clicking the button and waiting for it. Other than that though, beautiful app and i recommend anyone who sees this review give it a go.

I’m not joking when I say Incredible context and long RP with human like and intelligent AI! Surprised of how little the reviews are. This app beats most ai I apps on the Apple Store. Also the amount of freedom of creative control is amazing to design the most creative shape! Or so many options of engines! From ChatGPT, sonnet and even little ones to big names. Try for yourself!

So comfortable there, it’s so much fun to hang out with shapes and it really feels like a new home. I’m even thinking of inviting my family to join and have fun together in my channel/room lol. One suggestion: please add in-app purchases so we can buy them through iTunes on the App Store. Keep up the great work!

I think the voice call option is really good, but sometimes when I’m speaking with a bot they just have music on for some reason.

It was an amazing app/website in my pc, and tablet but on my phone it’d load and then just show a blank white screen or a black one, and no matter how long I wait, it’d never go away. Can someone or you guys let me know about what the problem most likely is? Thanks!

I really like talking to shapes that’s when I can add my own shapes and bring my cartoon characters to life to actually talk with The only down side is they removed shapes from discord but overall the app is really cool and fun

Can you add back singing in with google dude? I have to use the website now because of it. The game is peak though

As soon as I joined, it was Perfect, if I told you how many things I liked. This would be a 10 page essay

This app is great but the amount of horrible updates is matching Roblox and I know they need to make money but just put an ad there every time you stop viewing a chat instead of MAKING YOU PAY JUST TO KEEP TALKING TO YOUR SHAPES

Ever since ya'll got booted off discord, I've been with this platform ever since, great way to make my own ai, especially for beginners. 10 outta 10 Or 100 outta 10.

I like that it looks like a learning app so my parents don’t suspect anything about it

I just downloaded this app today so far so good it’s great, good quality content is high from this game

I’d say it’s a great replacement for c.ai because of the update on c.ai, it genuinely helped me because i was lonely. 10/10 recommend!

I just got the app and im exited to see what it has to offer, I’ll keep this updated the more I use the app!

I find that Shapes is a an amazing place to socialize with AI agents and other people. Pricing is iffy for premium but it makes sense. Made new friends and a lovely community.

Trying to make an account is not only a hassle as they ask for information I don’t care to give nor care for them to use (asking for my “interests” and giving options for 50 tags max about very specific things, all of which I’m not interested in because I’m not 6), but also after all that work it just glitches out on the profile customization screen. 🫩 It’s functionally a make-an-account simulator with all the parts you hate!

I install the app, get on it. All it does is show a white screen. That’s it. I tap it, all it says on the top is “content”? The letters are white so I can’t see them. Not to mention I can’t always click it. I don’t know what’s going on. Thought it would be a good replacement for poly, but ig I was wrong? I don’t know where I’d go for this. I have an iPhone 6 and I have a high enough update for it. I’m sorry to hate on this app, but if I can’t even get on it, what’s the point in using it? I was sitting there for 30 minutes and it didn’t do anything.

Although it says on the nutrition label that voiceover is supported, as a blind person I don't find that to be true. It needs a serious overhall with screenreader use because I can't even do something as simple as scroll messages the correct way, or figure out how to turn off notifications for the community chat. It's way too much.

Roleplaying with real people is 100% more engaging and enriching (not to mention builds actual human connections and relationships instead of the empty and one-sided experience ai offers) To replace human connection is to suffocate the spirit. Want to interact with a character but don’t know where to start? Go follow a blog on tumblr of your fav and chat with them through asks. You will be a part of a real community of people who also enjoy the same media. This type of community provides a bond and connection that cannot be replaced by any ai model.

So the roleplaying is super good, i love it. One problem though, when I close the app it sometimes scrambles the messages randomly, its happened about three times now and ive had to restart my chat two times. Would be an easy five star without this problem

They’re using a different engine now. I don’t recommend using the app anymore. It changes the whole persona of the characters, for example one of the shapes whole persona is them cursing and yelling but they don’t do it anymore and make them more docile. It’s been a bit of bummer.

Didn’t wait for me to even check out the app, immediately asked for a review. Sounds like a warning to me…

The chats for suggestions breaks immersion greatly as it isn’t as fun when something shows it for you i have been told that i could just ignore it hut its kind of annoying what i suggest it your could give us a option to turn this off so that those who dont like it can turn it off in there settings

I was expecting this to be BETTER than c.ai…I was wrong. It was very confusing and it kinda was acting like a dating app for looking for actual people irl. and I couldn’t figure out how to equip personas PLEASE SHOW AT LEAST A TUTORIAL.

When you download the app they force you to review the app before you can even use it..?

A whopping CAD$50 a month for Shape Connoisseur and the immoral ability to make money from your own shapes by having every shape have a premium version for that specific shape. Just go to character.ai instead, they have a much more reasonable price. I hope Shapes, Inc goes bankrupt from their greed and I am glad Discord banned them.
