Einfach zu bedienen, übersichtlich und auf das wesentliche und wichtige reduziert.

Nachdem ich die Ap nun ca 100mal heruntergeladen habe, gebe ich jetzt endgültig auf. Number One in News? Das ist ja zum Lachen!!

Es ist interessant Nachrichten aus einer anderen Sichtweise zu lesen!

Viele interessante Nachrichten, leider wird zu selten aktualisiert. Auch fehlt die Balance zwischen amerikanischen und internationalen Nachrichten. Und der Blick ist immer amerikanisch geprägt.

Muss ständig neu runtergelaufen werden. Nicht so ansprechend wie die vorige.

Die App funktioniert problemlos, allerdings wäre einen dark mode wünschenswert als erweiterung der app.

In general I read all CNN?publications/broadcasts related to DTrump & the Nov.3 election. I log on to CNN & get the full blast every day of the news coverage. I am surprised how few Republicans stand up to at least express their opinion regarding all the false statements, comments & arm twisting tactics by a President. These politicians have small children who probably ask the senators/ grand dads what good deed did they perform today. They all must be lying & pretend to have worked by the books or laws. When will America come to its senses.

Hope everyone will download the app. CNN is the best informed news across the world. I use CNN for years and I find everything that I need. Many people didn’t know how much CNN is going to make you feel better from politics to spot—from sports to music—from music to documentary— from documentaries to style and film and festivals. Love CNN team🥰😇

I use this app daily to catch up on the news. My only issue is a technical one, I can’t read the captions under the pictures because the chosen font is gray. This is a pity and unnecessary. I am a graphic designer and can say that sometimes a softing of typography is effective but in this case it’s wrong. When people read the news, they want to know what is the story of the picture too. Please fix this issue, it’s disrespectful of the photographers.

The app is great, I just wish 2 technical fratures: - that all news clips can be also accessed in text only (without video) - that video would ONLY start streaming when the user actively requests it. It frequently ears us cellular data and slows down my ipad.

CNN does a great job of keeping people in Europe informed especially concerning USA politics and foreign policy. As an American living in Portugal, Fox News was broadcasted also by MEO cable network. For some reason they dropped Fox News. I am not sure why but their reporting had no credibility in Europe. Fox News was never in line with European news broadcasts.

It serves me a my briefing because even politicians need to see what CNN says about them Unfortunately, CNN is not like an oracle able to predict or interpret all events correctly. I once lost money because I trusted CNN too systematically.

When I have a notification of an article which is important to me, I select the notification to read the article but I only get the first page of the app. Then I ought to search for the article with a key word. If I remember any from the notification. I’m in favor of cnn app please try to fix it. From iPhone SE 2020.

In the last couple of weeks the CNN App has constantly frozen requiring it to be repeatedly closed and relaunched. It’s gotten so frustrating that I now find myself going elsewhere for news.

And the App Support Link in the AppStore ironically launches the app, presumably in order to show some kind of support page, which of course fails blatantly when you need support because the app keeps dying.

With the latest release of the App it is upsetting me that constantly new articles or browser windows open up. This is really very bad experience when you are constantly disrupted while reading a story. Please, roll back this annoying feature.

Schade. Die App habe ich seit 10 Jahren installiert und vor allem für die Breaking News Push-Benachrichtigungen benutzt. Seit kurzer Zeit deaktiviert die App die Benachrichtigungen, wenn man der Übermittlung von Personalisation- und Ad-Tracking-Daten nicht zustimmt. Das ist nicht nötig und eine traurige Entwicklung. Dabei halte ich von CNNs Berichterstattung noch viel, aber ohne Push-Benachrichtigungen werde ich die App überhaupt nicht mehr nutzen.

Wenn ich an CNN denke, denke ich an viele Stunden guter und informativer Unterhaltung. Sonntags habe ich immer die LateEdition mit Wolf Blitzer gesehen und natürlich die Berichterstattung zu Wahlkämpfen und Super Tuesdays in 2004, 2008, 2012 und 2016. Und dann, dann kam Trump. Und CNN ist seitdem durchgedreht! Es ist nur noch Trump-Bashing ohne Sinn und Verstand. Egal ob man den gegenwärtigen Präsidenten der USA nun mag oder nicht, zwei Dinge sollte man nicht vergessen: 1. Er ist nun mal das demokratisch gewählte Staatsoberhaupt in den USA. 2. Ein Nachrichtensender wie CNN sollte niemals seine Integrität kurzfristiger Tagespolitik opfern. Und das tun sie nun durchgängig seit einem Jahr. Darum nur einen Stern ⭐️

Versehentlich auf ein Werbe-Popup gedrückt und schon entstehen Kosten von 4,99€ und es kommt eine SMS zu einem angeblichen Kauf an. Trotz Drittanbietersperre. In einer seriösen App sollte so etwas wohl nicht passieren.

Beim News Video Kommt nur der Ton und wo das Video sein sollte erscheint nach einer 1/2 Sekunde eine Fehlermeldung. Video Ton läuft weiter. Wenn alles geht ist CNN Top, musste aber in den letzen Wochenmitte wieder neu installieren wegen Hänger.

Eine weitere App, die gelöscht wird, weil sie auf dem iPhone 5 unter iOS 10 nicht mehr funktioniert. Geplante Obsoleszenz passt irgendwie nicht mehr in die heutige Zeit. Die Schuld liegt dabei sowohl bei den App-Entwicklern, die bestimmte Betriebssystem-Versionen fordern, als auch bei Apple selbst, die älteren Geräten die Updates verweigern.

Nur seltsame Berichterstattung und die App ist manchmal leicht mit bugs oder segnet einen mit viel Werbung

Hätte gerne weiter gelesen, aber seit ein paar Tagen saugt die App ständig den Akku vom iPhone leer. Na dann nicht… Und tschüss

Pro Artikel werde ich zig mal aus der App geworfen, meist zu Safari. Das passiert wenn man beim Scrollen einen link nur leicht berührt. Das nervt! Tab schliessen und zurück zu cnn, und gleich wieder... IOS hat deshalb ein klickdelay eingebaut damit so etwas nicht passiert, wieso man das mir Gewalt übergeht ist mir schleierhaft... Hab sie jetzt wieder deinstalliert

Die neueste version 7.16.1 cnn ruckelt beim Scrollen unter ios15.7.2 auf iphone 7, 256GB ( Rheinische Post App sogar noch schlimmer- )

Push Benachrichtigungen funktionieren nicht seit dem Update. Einstellungen gehen nach dem Aus- und wieder einschalten des Gerät verloren.

Leider stürzt die App nach dem letzten Update nach dem Öffnen direkt ab.

Hab die App deshalb runter geladen, klappt trotz Anmeldung nicht. Man kann nur Video Fetzen sehen. Nicht gut.

Sorry, aber die Menge an Werbespots nervt einfach nur noch. Steht in keinem Verhältnis zum Inhalt.

Nach dem update stürzt die app ab. Neuinstallation hilft nicht.

Ich kann CNN über Satellit in Deutschland frei empfangen, aber die App sagt mir, das Life Programm sei wegen meines Standortes blockiert. Geht es noch dümmer?

Generally good idea and layout, however the app is incredibly slow and laggy. There are bugs when I scroll up that make any content disappear and annoy me when I just want to get the latest news. There are also bugs with videos in the app that won’t let the controls disappear. I don’t understand why CNN can’t fully optimize this app to run smoothly and fast on our devices. This experience really could be so much better.

I used to read cnn daily. The news mix I see now especially in the section top news is pure nonsense. This section needs to show top stories from the US and the rest of the world - no fast facts, no inside commentaries or anything from days ago! Amount of domestic and international news should be weighed according to readers choice. Long stories should be found under all the subsections. When I search for Ukraine war news I want to read Ukraine war news. Don’t show me hundreds of Gaza articles even if the word ‚Ukraine‘ should be mentioned within! If you currently do not feature Ukraine, say so, show no results or ‚No articles available right now‘, but please: CARE ABOUT THE READER‘S CHOICE! I hate apps being witty …

It took years to fix issue of the CNN app freezing for 15-20 seconds almost every session. Will it be the same for video and audio being out of sync for many video contributions in the app since several months? Sometimes it takes many video restarts to have audio and video in sync. It had worked before…

Please put a working link to your app support page into the iOS app, so bug reports can go there. Next, please fix the awful not-smooth scrolling in the app. Afterwards make sure, that the cnn app does not memory leak and repeatedly freezes my iPhone 8

Great app, but since iOS 12 I can't play any other video that the first "Top News" one from the WATCH NOW section. I already wrote your Support, but didn't receive an answer. The activity indicator keeps showing, a bad connection is not the issue. Deleting and reinstalling the app did not help. IPhone X.

Sorry but for me the more changes made the worse it is to find relevant topics. I wish the design was the same as a year ago, there is a saying “If it’s not broken don’t fix it. Not everything done is better, with security updates etc that’s fine but the layout is terrible.
