No need to go to the dreaded fax store anymore. Faxing with Genius Fax is simple, fast and beautiful. Read below for pricing and subscription information.
To send a fax: choose a file from your favorite cloud service (Dropbox, Google Drive, Box) or from any other iOS app (Genius Scan, Safari, Mail…)
To receive a fax: subscribe for a number and you’re all set. You receive documents as PDF and can preview them or open them with any other app.
Sending:
- Tap the New fax button to open the fax' details screen
- Enter your recipient's fax number
- Scan your document with the Genius Fax built-in scanner or pick a document from the Files or the Photos app.
- Alternatively, open a PDF or image file in any of your favorite apps and use their “Open with” feature to open the file with Genius Fax.
- Optionally, add a title, sender, description, recipient details and enable the cover page.
- Tap the Send button!
- Each page costs a fax credit, the cover page is free.
Receiving:
- Subscribe to a number for 1, 3 or 6 months.
- Give away your number to whoever needs to fax to you.
- Add credits to receive faxes. One page costs one credit.
- Faxes appear in your fax list as soon as they are received and paid for.

- You can buy a number in Genius Fax for as little as $3.49/month.
- Send your fax to any supported country. It's always one credit per page.

Da die meisten Reviews mehrere Jahre alt waren, habe ich befürchtet, dass die App nicht mehr funktioniert, aber ich habe sie trotzdem heruntergeladen. Die anderen Apps haben eine Jahresgebühr verlangt, die viel zu teuer ist, wenn man nur zweimal im Jahr ein Fax verschicken muss. Bei dieser App kannst du pro Seite bezahlen (10- und 50-Seiten Angebote gibt’s auch). Alles ist selbsterklärend und funktioniert wie es soll. Für die, die meinen, es sei langsam: Habt ihr vergessen wie lange es braucht ein Fax zu verschicken??? Zuerst Nummer wählen (warten), Verbindung aufbauen (warten), jede Seite einzeln einziehen (warten), Übertragung (warten). Deswegen gibt es die Geräte kaum noch. Die App funktioniert!
Dieses Programm ist ein guter Lückenschluss, zwischen einem PDF Programm auf dem mobilen Telefon und einem Fax Gerät im Büro. Die per E-Mail gesendete PDF-Dokumente, können auf dem mobilen Telefon unterschrieben werden und via Fax an den Fax-Empfänger gesendet werden. Alles schnell, einfach, problemlos!
Schnell installiert unkomplizierter Faxversand. Vielleicht ein wenig zu teuer, harmoniert aber sehr gut mit der Genius Scan Software

Ich bin total begeistert. Schnell ein Fax ohne Faxgerät senden. Einfache Bedienung. Ich habe hier lediglich einen Stern abgezogen, da eine eigene Faxnummer aktuell nur für den US/Kanadischen-Raum angeboten wird.

Bin total froh mit dieser App, besonders im Zusammenhang mit Genius Scan erleichtert es mir die Kommunikation über die Distanz ungemein.

Update: vielleicht waren die Faxnummern doch falsch, jetzt klappt alles! Aber der Preis pro Fax ist ziemlich hoch, daher 1 Stern Abzug. 3 Faxe, an 3 verschiede Nummern, keins kam an. Schade, die Scan-App dieses Anbieters ist nämlich klasse.

Daher verlange ich auch eine deutsche Menüführung. Ein Amerikaner würde so etwas auch nie durchgeh lassen wenn hier alles deutsch wäre. Minus !!
Ich will mich beim starten neu registrieren: „es existiert bereits ein account mit der e-mail“. OK, als passwort vergessen: „es existiert kein (!) account mit dieser e-mail“.
Ich bin ja hochzufrieden mit Genius Scan und habe deswegen auch Genius Fax heruntergeladen. Leider ein totaler Reinfall. Zwar ist das Fax angekommen, jedoch wurde es so großgezogen, dass es nicht mehr auf eine Seite gepasst und somit abgeschnitten wurde. Meine Unterschrift war ebenso abgeschnitten und mein Fax wurde somit nicht bearbeitet. Da es sich um eine Terminsache handelte, war das mehr als ärgerlich
Muss man nicht mehr zu sagen, bei Preisen von 40 Cent bis 1,09€ kann es sich jeder selbst ausrechnen. Gibt günstigere Alternativen, da hat man täglich due erste Seite kostenlos.

Forget to include >>> G - option for editable cover page templates, i.e. created in app with logo ... or scanned template and writable; H - option to choose different sender numbers, i.e. different country <<< into my previous post
Nr. is available with phone and you get a fax respond, but sending doesńt work.
Eine Seite Fax jetzt sogar für mehr als ein Euro geht gar nicht! Sorry Leute! Kostenlos muss es nicht sein aber für den Preis.... Although the software seems to work the costs sre ridiculous - at least for central Europe. More than 1 €uro per page is usury! Theirfor the App is of no use and will be removed immediately. Sorry folks... I love your scan software but this one is....

1,- Euro für ein fax.. Einmal und nie wieder. Es muss ja nicht immer kostenlos sein, aber diese Gebühren sind schon heftig überzogen. Die App selbst ist okay- nutze die Scan-software schon lange, daher auch die fax version installiert. Fliegt aber gleich runter..
Ich habe ein Fax kostenpflichtig über diese App versendet und das Fax kam nicht an. Die Faxnr. war richtig. Werde diese App nicht mehr nutzen und bei Aboalarm bleiben, da funktioniert wenigstens alles.
Was hilft eine Fax-App, wenn man zwar sieht, das jemandem etwas gefaxt wurde, aber nicht was. Ein solcher Nachweis ist völlig untauglich.
Viel zu Teuer. Nicht zu rechtfertigten dass ein fax soviel kostet. 30cent wäre angemessen
