I have been hunting for an app that could display the current temperature and weather conditions and provide an Apple Watch complication that would do the same. My Weather nailed both of those requirements. I was also pleasantly surprised at how well it performs on the Apple Watch and how very well organized the information is on both devices. It has a few areas where it could still improve, such as a larger database of cities. There are some other pretty good weather apps out there that are loaded with information and an abundance of useful content. But if you are looking for an app that just gets it right when it comes to displaying the current temperature and weather conditions and plays well on both your iPhone and Apple Watch this is your app.
I was surprised to find that this app has so many customizable features that do NOT require purchase. The many options for customization make the app very user friendly. The widget settings are equally sweet and simple. The design of this app is charmingly minimal; The themes and graphics are modern and attractive without being too flashy. The app does lose one star because the ‘hourly’ view isn’t very prominent in the widget and in the app itself and gets lost among the rest of the information. A clear and accurate ‘hourly’ forecast is one of the most important parts of a weather app to me (in addition to current/daily and weekly). Despite this one issue, I think all of the features that this app offers is enough to make me keep it and look forward to future updates and improvements.
I've only used this app a short time on my iPad but it seems to work well. I like the option of selecting multiple cities for current weather but I would also like to see a "weather MAP" that actually shows the rain, snow, etc. rather than just telling me it is raining/snowing/etc. That might be asking too much for a free app---but it works and I like it. The automatic locator feature is also nice since no matter where I am, I can see what the weather is in my location. It is a quick and easy app to install and set up. The initial app was in "C" temperature---and I quickly changed it to "F". The night and day lighting feature is also a nice touch. I would recommend this app to everyone who travels or simply want to keep up with several locations at a glance.
Very cute weather app. Very pleasing to look at. I can’t stand all those “clean” designs out there that are so devoid in personality. This weather app comes with several themes to choose from, including an old school pixel theme. Weathers about as accurate as every other app I’ve tried. As some one who’s watched the weather for years, I can tell you on that front...yeah, they’re all about the same. Not even apps like Dark Sky will be much better than any other app. But I’m aware of this already, so when looking for a weather app, I’m looking at aesthetics. This app is very easy on the eyes and I don’t have to look at boring standard icons half the apps use with the same old colors. This app is more like little sets of art.
After trying at least 10 weather apps, paid and free, I’ve decided this app the one. It’s free, has a clean interface and works with the Apple Watch. The depth of information, however, is limited. No maps or radar information. While this can be helpful during times of unpredictable weather patterns or localized weather activity, it is not the purpose of this app. This app appears to be a substitute for the Apple weather app. In this regard, it offers slightly more information along with a beautiful interface and ad free experience. If you need maps and hate ads, pull out the $ and pay for a competing app, otherwise, this app is the free, fast loading, multiregional, ad-free, nice-looking alternative you may have been looking for...

This is one of the best weathers apps available. I had been using Dark Sky as my weather widget but I think I am going to replace it with this one. You can select all sorts of options for different Apple Watch complications as well as widgets in your phone. Just a few minor issues: my city did not show up in the search so I had to use “current location” and won’t be able to check weather when I am commuting home. Also the city displayed in the Apple Watch complications did not update until several minutes later after I changed to current location.
I'm serious about that. Ever since installing this application, I find that checking the weather is such a joy to me. I love the layouts and icons; they are beautiful and fun, and the ability to choose a macro or micro view of the weather is great. I especially love the acknowledgment that many of us have global lives, and the ability to see all the locations that are important to us in one layout is genius. Thank you so much for an amazing app - incredible quality with the free version, and paid version is less than a cup of coffee. Highly recommend to everyone!!
Before being prompted for a review, however so far it seems pretty nice provides a lot of info (if you want it to). Many configurations options. Only problem I’ve noticed so far is the 24hr time option is a bit spotty when turned Off. Sunset(sunrise/set moon phase area) and Tomorrow’s weather are still in 24hr time. Isn’t a problem for me after 35yrs of using it at work, but may make things more difficult for other users. Nice sit alongside app for the other two I use (weather up for radar, and YoWindow for basic weather with unique interface), for when I desire a bit more info.
I just updated my phone to the iOS 14 feature, and have been looking for apps that have weather widgets you can add to your Home Screen. This is by far the best app so far, not only because of the cute and simple designs you can choose from, but also because you do not have to pay for them. My only problem is that when I actually try to add a weather widget, the widget always shows the weather in New York (I do not live there). I don’t know if it is just me, but if this could be fixed that would be great. Other than that, the app is amazing!
I came across this Weather app a few years ago. the Icons are great looking & match the weather that is happening. The Weather Icons that can be used have dropped tremendously. There were at least 15 you could choose to use, now only 5-6!!! If you want variety a person has to subscribe for a yearly fee!! Some folks can't afford to do that. It appears that MONEY Charged is all that the developers care about. Ideas or Suggestions are FREE!!!!! dpetunia29 😎
This doesn't replace the main iOS weather app for me, but a couple things I like - the 2x daily notification forecasts, and also the widget with a nice overview of places I travel constantly. If you're always in the same city then the apple single widget is fine, but it helps me to look at 5 cities at once. Also well designed, though the app itself is a bit cluttered and takes some careful attention to really take in the useful information.
This app is just so incredible and cute! I’ve been using it for almost 8 years if I remember it right. They improved the app every time they updated it. I love using this app because it has clothing index recommendation for the day and it’s very helpful for the mornings that I have to rush to work. The themes are also just adorable. Now they’ve added so many holiday themes, including Halloween which is absolutely exciting!!! You can also change how the app icon looks on your home screen now. Wow!!! Love love this app!!!
This app is so cute and useful! Packed with a lot of features and all free! I especially love having multi-city weather for the next few days on the same page - better than the iPhone weather app, which requires you to swipe back and forth, not so convenient when you have a few cities saved. Also, the themes are really cute and, again, all free! Please design more themes!
It very accurate for me and it so cute though since I upgraded my iPhone X to my new iPhone 12pro max I had to redownload the app and can’t get the app to change the Celsius to Fahrenheit in the setting Update: Been trying to change it in the settings but everytime I try it freezes up on me and will not let me change it no matter how many times I have tried
The WC app is so loaded with ads and videos that the scroll hardly works. This is exactly the lightweight app I was looking for. It doesn’t try to do too much like every other weather app I tried. One thing I do miss from WC is when I would tap a day in the horizontal scroller it would bring up purely text detailed descriptions of the day. It a nice alternative to be able to read it. Anyway, nice work!
I really like this app so far is becoming one of my favorite ones, the only thing is that it feels too cluttered in the app too much is going on I know you can turn some of it off in settings but it would be a lot easier on the eyes was was more minimal. I also do like how it’s not stupid expensive if you choose to get the pro version. Like other weather apps they charge you $50 a year which is ridiculous for a weather app.
This app is cute. The icon reminds me of Miyazaki’s “My Friend Totoro”. It does very well, considering that it probably comes from Japan & is more familiar with international places like Hong Kong, Singapore, etc. than American cities & small towns. Like, it does not recognize Dallas, TX. Anyone in the United States or just generally in the West knows Dallas Texas. Still, the app is fun to check occasionally. It would probably be nice for anyone who travels internationally.
The Weather Channel had an update and it stinks so I started looking around for other apps and I really like this one. A bit hard to find the settings (scroll to the very bottom) to add cities. You don’t even need to add your location and they don’t pester you every time you open it. Not as detailed as the other but very informative and nice user interface!
I’ve tried a fair few weather apps, but this one is absolutely adorable and very functional. The different themes and app icons give it a personalized feel. What sold me is that it said it was cold outside and that wool overcoats and sweaters + SPF 8-12 were recommended for this weather, and that it’s easy to get a cold in these conditions. I have never had an app tell me to put a sweater on so I don’t get sick... so considerate (*´꒳`*).
Overall, the design of the app is amazing. But, the widgets do not update the actual temperature as it should compared to the default weather widget. Other than that, it is pretty good! — Hopefully there will be new updates fixing the issue.
Breaks down everything you need to know nicely. It’s cute and you can choose different themes which i like. Also super helpful bc it provides clothing suggestions according to the weather, i often go to this app to see its recommendations before getting dressed!
I was looking for a weather app that I can add many locations, some of which are not known to most people; this app works perfectly in detecting those places. Besides, easy to use, lots of information and fun to use.
I was using accuweather for a very long time, but was disappointed with the notification features. This app is perfect for what I need and is pretty cute too! The interface is slightly confusing, but I was able to customize everything to what I wanted.
I’ve tried a couple other widget apps for weather, but none have had as nice of designs as these ones. They’re simple to use, and best of all, they’re completely free. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a nicer weather widget on their home screen.
I like the layout of information. All the info I need is spread out conveniently and easily viewable. I like the home screen gadget. And most importantly, the ability to customize almost everything.
Every morning I check in to see the day ahead scrolling down hour by hour into the next day. Part of my routine. It’s set for my home, my brother’s home, my vacation spot — it’s good to know what’s happening . Really enjoy this app.
I love everything about it....Very detailed, accurate forecasts which include daily forecasts as well as hourly forecasts that I know I can depend on...It is quite customizable with a really good selection of themes that are in sync with the weather conditions and/seasons..Locations can also be customized as well
I cannot see what the weather data source is from. It is important that for local weathers some data source are accurate while others are not.
So this is more of a question than a review. However I really like the app, it is playful and informative. I would prefer that it has Fahrenheit and I can’t find the feature any help would be awesome
I love this app so far. Only suggestion I have at the moment: I changed the app to use non-military time but the 24 hour day view still uses military time. Would be nice if that could be changed with that setting also.
Love this app. It is on point all the time. I travel frequently and I love the fact that I can know the weather in several cities at the touch of a finger. The notifications are also very helpful.
I mainly use the hard press function on the home screen to view my weather throughout the day. This app has all the info I could want on the pop up. Love it! Thank you so much for making it!
I love it because it shows the dates. Not just Monday Tuesday etc. that is super helpful. The layout shows several cities at once. It also stores the last known data offline. Can’t say enough good things about this app!
No in app purchases. Thank you!
Finding a beautifully designed and effective weather application is hard in the app store. This app is certainly a far more enjoyable than anything I used earlier! Very good work!
Beautiful and simple.
好
Love the aesthetic of the app and it’s simple to use and no ads like The weather network app.
MyWeather provides accurate weather conditions in a therapeutic interface that simply prepares you for the day or night… rain or shine.
Great App
无广告 信息准 全球通
I’ve had this app on my phone for over a year. This is a great update for the Ios 16 lock screen looks amazing. Thanks for the update.
So Cutteeee!
Even though the app has subscriptions, without them it’s still full of options that make it a good daily companion for weather forecasts. Nice design with multiple themes and a practical widget.
Art themes make every day use a pleasure! useful details about spf, aqi, and comfort. excellent widgets and noifications.
Bonne app mais il y en a tellement
Really great weather app! Tons of features and easy to use, plus the themes are so cute! :3 ❤️
Great app. I really like it
Doesn’t seem to have AQI available for Canada yet, but hopefully in a future update. Great app so far!
What a great app! This is one of the best weather apps out there!
My Weather is a very complete source of weather info internationally. Suggestion: There's a minor issue with the new home page widget not displaying the name of my current location although it does show the temperature range. The normal widget displays both the current location and the temp range. While I obviously know where I am(!), hope you can correct this little problem! 😄
I would gladly pay a few $$ for this app! Nice job! Surprisingly rich with features despite being free. Love the ability to add as a widget in iOS 14!! And it has a landscape mode too, which is what I was looking for. My only gripe: the location finder is quite limited and a bit weird; it looks like they have a list of predefined locations that they maintain manually instead of using an API like everyone else, so unless you add a major city you may have difficulty finding it. If they improve that, it will make the app even better!
An application with a good design and a lot and detailed informations. I recommend it.
I don’t want to know what it feels like I want to know the rain probability on widgets! Or give us the ability to choose which ones we want displayed
This is an excellent app with great support for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. And I live the high level of customization! Please don’t follow what some other weather apps are going and put in a subscription model or inlcude ads. That’s would ruin the experience of the app. Continue doing the great work with the updates!!
I really like the style and you can choose themes. it looks minimalistic too which I like
Hard to find a cute, aesthetic weather app. This one offers many free themes, many options for cute app icons, and of course flexible and super cute widget options. No in-app purchases and unobtrusive ad (barely noticed). Highly recommend!
The widgets are so cute! Love all the theme choices :)
Seul problème ne réussit pas à enlever certaines villes
挺好的
Good application
...just download this and everything is sweet as ever and no ads bugging you. I recommend
So many options and themes
This app is very nice, with great themes
Great app. Works perfectly in my Province. Only thing I wish is that I could pay to unlock it. That way I could use it with out the advertisements. Other wise love it.
MyWeather - 15-Day Forecast Negative Reviews and Ratings
I have loved this app and used it for years. It has just enough information for my location and those of my family, without it being too much. Perfect. Something like Mama Bear in the Goldilocks tale. I had it on random rotation and enjoyed the surprise of different images each time I bought it up. Suddenly a few days ago it stopped working, so I deleted and then reinstalled it. Now I can no longer access any other images except the original one. And further, quite often it stops working again, telling me it’s not available and to try later. When I do, it still doesn’t work, and I have to reinstall. What’s going on? I’m having to look for a new app, but hate the thought of losing this one. Any suggestions? Dr. Rita Laxton
This weather app would be nice if it could locate me, but it can’t. It has no idea where I am to the point of almost being funny; I work in a different town than the one I live in, and it’s CONSTANTLY thinking I’m in the opposite town of where I am. Sometimes it makes up a town name that literally doesn’t exist on any map I can find. It will be correct about 1 out of ever 50 times I check, and even then it will suddenly switch my “current location” in the middle of me looking at the app without provocation. To top it all off, the temperature isn't accurate. It’s usually around 3 degrees off from EVERY OTHER WEATHER APP I’ve used to compare. Why? How!? I genuinely don’t understand why these things happen. I love the look of the app, and I like its integration with the Apple Watch, but boy oh boy does the inaccuracy make it worthless.
Since the App Support button on the Apple App Store does nothing but send me to a website to only be able to download the app (effectively running the user around in a circle) and I can’t find a place to do it in the app; I’ve run into a bug that doesn’t change the weather reading from C° to F° in the push notifications even though it is changed in my settings to reflect that. When I click on the the notification it will take me in app where it shows the readings in Fahrenheit correctly. It’s literally just the push notifications that I’m having problems with.
I love this app and the themes are SO cute, but it is extremely difficult to find cities that aren’t the one major city in a state/province/country (ex. New York, London). I keep winding up with random little towns all over the world instead. The search feature needs to let you narrow down by country first. In addition, when you have it automatically find your location, it seems to only pull data from 1 spot for each city, regardless of how close or far you actually are from that location. The app has told me all day today that it’s raining where I am, but it’s not.
I really want to like this app, but the USA city/state locations are extremely limited or just plain wrong. These problems negatively impact the utility of the for USA users, unless you happen to live one of the cities that the developer got right. And, not everyone like to use military time (24hr clock). Give users another choice (12hr clock). Allow us a choice between 12hr clock and 24hr clock. Lastly, the reported weather is sometimes off by a few degrees when compared to other weather apps. Please fix this.
Lovely designed app and good information in easy to read format. I downloaded for the Apple Watch app though. The Watch app itself is fine design wise but is slow to update with current information. But the worst part is the complication doesn’t update and if it does it’s with info that’s wrong and even different what’s in the watch app. And the watch app info is different from the phone app. Keeping the app to see how fast it develops since it has great potential.
This is a great app with just the right amount of customizable features without being overwhelming. The styles are pretty (and free!) and the data given to you is correct. The only issue I am having is with the AQI Widget on my Home Screen. I’ve let it sit for a couple of days and it hasn’t shown anything - just blank. Hopefully this is just a bug the developer can fix. Their widgets and style were my main reasons for using the app in the first place. Thanks!
Very nice layout and widgets, but whatever source they use for weather data isn't a good one. They should (1) reveal the source, and (2) allow optional sources to be used instead (even if the user has to pay extra). Otherwise, a pretty interface is useless if the data behind it isn't accurate. Finally, the AQI doesn't work in the widgets. It remains blank and there's no way to get it to work. I hope competing apps see this app's nice interface and adopt some of its features!
Now it rarely gets the weather right, if it gets my local weather at all! I used to subscribe, but now I won’t be renewing my subscription. I have tried contacting support about this issue, but never received any kind of response…..this is the last year I will be subscribing to your app! I kept giving you every opportunity to address these issues, now I would suggest all think before you subscribe, because the developers honestly don’t ever respond or address problems!
I was able to find my suburban town just fine, but I’m going to Chicago today and wanted to know what to expect. But when I type it in, it gives me places in other countries, other states, and doesn’t even show up on the lists of “nearby cities” nor “popular cities” (???) It doesn’t even recognize zip codes of places of friends when it searches people in my contact list to search for. CHICAGO, IL...COOK COUNTY, IL...you’ve gotta be kidding me.
The Apple Watch settings don’t update no matter what you set it to in the app. For example, I want to use Fahrenheit instead of Celsius and weather icon displays instead of temperature only for the short complications etc. And the widget display for this app in the watch always shows blank where at last a temperature should be. Also the advertising for the other icons “Powered by Clover” is annoying. It interferes with the otherwise pretty display within the phone app. I’m switching back to the native weather app on the watch.
The premise is good. But every day for weeks now… it sends a notification at 5 PM for the next day’s weather. But it gives that day’s forcast. So if it is 5 PM on Thursday, it will say to prepare for tomorrow, Thursday. And then adds the day’s forecast that just ended. I tried contacting the developers. It still wasnt corrected. There is no where in settings where you can change any dates.
This is the cutest weather app out there! The problem with the locations is that it can’t even find Boston, a city with 700,000 people! Edit: reduced to 2 stars because I realized that the time is completely messed up with the weather. It says the low temp. Is at midday when I know it isnt EVERY SINGLE DAY. Edit 2: Okay, so it’s keeps switching from correct weather and correct time to incorrect weather and incorrect time, which still isn’t good.
This app is so beautiful, it’s the weather app design I’ve been looking for. However, it has not been very accurate for me! I really hope it can get some updates. It’s currently 20 degrees off from my actual weather. I will stick it out and hope location info gets updated! I think it will be worth it.
I tried this app hoping to find one I liked. This one is just OK imo. You can customize quit a bit including temp units, themes, widget order. But the interface is confusing at first look. And, city selection/search needs work. Try searching for “Lima” for example and you’ll see what I mean. Add a comma to add a state and it does an “and” search for both search term. You can’t enter city, state and get the expected results.
One, it was complicated to be able to adjust the settings to F and such. Two, the whole layout is too foreign. For example it will show low then high not high then low. I guess I should have expected that given how the app starts out in Celsius... Three, the layout is too cluttered. Unfortunately changing the settings gives to little info. There's no in between. Ultimately, it looked cute at first but it's really not.
This only reads in Celsius. Yes, yes, I know I’m being stubborn but I never use Celsius in my daily life and I’m not going to google it every time. Defeats the purpose of the app. Also, it does not have my location on the list and says I live somewhere I don’t based on my location settings? Strange. Seems to be a good app, I’d like to download again if these issues could be fixed.
I like the app but it is very in accurate unfortunately
预报不准
The app looks beautiful but it’s in Chinese and I can’t figure out how to make it work at all. I can’g find how to change it to English. I’m giving 1 star in hopes I get an answer back from the developers so I can make it work, as I paid for the pro option, thanks in advance.
The weather is not accurate
Good interface. However current weather shows lower end of the range rather than actual weather. Not reliable for current conditions
I was always wondering how could the temperature would almost always be off, then I noticed the temp diff is purely day/night and it occurs to me that it is not adjusting to the user’s local time but still locked to Chinese time which for some country is just way way off. Please fix this bug thanks! It is an amazing app but this really needs to be fixed. Will come back and up the stars once fixed.
Only app that after I uninstalled it it still shows up in Location Services. Tried restarting my phone, offloading app before uninstall, nothing works to get rid of it. Extremely suspicious and I hate this new addition to the nagging in the back of my mind. Thanks.
….but it drops and loses my location almost every day. It doesn’t keep record of last locations so I have to search for it from scratch. Cute icons and detailed info but it’s almost worth deleting because it drops my location often. Like..very often.
Around 80% the weather is inaccurate, but the widgets are very cute.
呵呵,狗粮不好吃了吧?
Most recent update that was supposed to fix the widgets appearing all black caused the widgets to appear as all black.
After this last update the page widget is messed up. Completely black and can’t interact with it at all. But if you manage to open up the app by searching it it works fine.
The search engine is not smart enough. It doesn’t understand combination of words. I searched for “ Houston Texas” for example and it listed several cities in deferent states in US and different cities in other countries.
Wish they would include the date in the widget
Consistently different than many of my trusted local forecasts. Often find myself double-checking the weather because I was badly informed by the app. Great looking UI, even if its not accurate.
A couple of the cities I need can't be found. Reported, nothing happened. Also it can get a bit clutterd when you just need a quick summary. Will download again in a few months to see if improved.
... but the temperature is all wrong. I’m editing my review: Today we have a heat warning—it’s supposed to be 30 this afternoon with clear skies—but the app is telling me “27°, I need to wear a sweater and sunblock is “Minimal”. I keep it on my phone because it’s beautiful and has nice touches like the sunblock and clothing and I’m hoping they fix it. UI is beautiful. Needs a good update. EDIT: I’ve given up and jumped ship to Hello Weather.
This app is really beautiful and free but unfortunately it is not reliable. (Ie severe thunderstorms for several hours and the actual weather was partly cloudy...also no wx warnings....
