NOAA, The premier scientific authority on our atmosphere, oceans, sea life and weather systems are under severe assault by the Trump administration. It is one of the great preeminent scientific bodies in the world and we must do all we can to see that the NOAA and USGS continue to work unhindered to keep Americans and all peoples safe and informed about our climate, current weather patterns, the threat of earthquakes volcanic activity, tsunami and emergencies, and all pertinent sciences to keep us the best informed citizens on the planet.

What state has the least mental hospitals due to cold weather? I think California Los Angeles. I’m only allowed psych care for emergency. I’m locked out of emergency treatment since Mississippi. NOAA weather app should be free!!! It provides timely and necessary information for residents, businesses, governments and local officials. Our taxes pay for the ability to collect and distribute the information so why do we have to pay again to access the weather? Confusing that you have 2 apps with different titles and different contents described. I’m certainly not going to pay to have information from both of them.

This app is the best app I’ve ever tried for weather. I had a tornado yesterday and it told me everything that I needed to know and that it would be alerting and I got an alert since I don’t have the little emergency things so I got this and it helped me so much so you guys should get this.

The best weather app I’ve found: you can look up weather forecasts by geolocation which is very helpful when you’re planning a hike in state or national parks where weather varies greatly by elevation. 👍🏽

I like the app for everything except for tornado warnings. It showed a green dot near me while I was traveling, and I couldn’t figure out if that was an actual tornado and if I should take cover or if it was just a warning. I checked the local news and there was no tornado, so I don’t know what the green dots mean on the map.

I’m a weather buff and this app is fun. Easy to see what’s going on everywhere. I live where weather is very boring. Pretty much the same all the time. So I enjoy looking around the country and seeing what’s going on.

I am so tired of other weather services not helping my area by ignoring where I live so I hope this app is better and I’m ready to see what happens. I hope it’s worth the money.

I have used a free version of this for a few years and have been able to track all the hurricanes that have threatened Florida. I love the app.

What a GREAT app. I was in radio for over 35 years and I WISH I had this app. I can read the storm and gage when it will hit a certain area.

Not bad for the amount of money you pay. And it does have a lot of different operations within the app.

This is a great app! Very detailed and gives you hour by hour on storms and hurricanes around the world! This is an app you should definitely have!

Update, heard from developer quickly, checking into the problem. On the forecast it shows one less day than supposed to be: today, tomorrow, Friday, etc Not correct because it is Tuesday so correct would be: today, tomorrow, Thursday, Friday, etc. Only problem so far, otherwise a good app

I check it daily, so very useful for planning events and travel.

I feel comfortable watching for this storm with my LORD, and your NOAA live weather map.

I mean, it’s alright. There’s optional subscriptions and what not, it’s aesthetically pleasing, but there’s ads in the way of things, however, this app isn’t too difficult to navigate, but there’s no informational guide provided anywhere, let alone when you first open the app after downloading it. I wouldn’t really recommend it, but at the same time, I would! It’s a good app, but it’s not for me! Also, some of the other reviews on this seem VERY Ai generated, which is not good when it comes to an app that has the potential to save your life in an emergency. But hey, thats just me!

It’s nice to have a weather app but it’s dumb it cost money to have alerts or to actually see anything you NEED to see in the moment. why would i need to pay money to be able to keep myself safe? how do i know if i have the risk of literally dying in a tornado if an app has a paywall to make to see?? imagine you’re about to get swept up by a tornado but you don’t know because “hold on, to know if you’re in life threading damage, you need to buy a stupid subscription”

I had this downloaded for only a few minutes before deleting. Everything seemed to be behind a paywall, and I don’t want pop up ads constantly. My final turnoff was that it told me there was a severe weather warning in my area, then I clicked on it, and that was also behind a paywall. Insane to make people pay for info that is both crucial and free to find elsewhere.

This app is advertised as free. After I downloaded it, I found out there was only a three day free trial. It’s one of those apps where if you don’t cancel after the three days are over, you automatically start getting billed. The app tried to make me choose a plan. This is deceptive and I am absolutely fed up with apps that do this. This is a national weather app and they shouldn’t charge at all for this information. I don’t care how good it might be. I immediately deleted it.

This is a paid weather app when we can generally speaking get the same info free otherwise. Family sharing should be a common sense ability when purchasing a subscription to this app. Also the widget does NOT work for iphone so this has been an overall irritating purchase as Its really not any great use or value when I have to redownload apples weather app to see the weather on my home screen.

If I could rate a zero, I would. This app charges for the same service other apps give for free. We had a bad storm last night, and this thing literally did nothing. The screen didn’t change, and there were no alerts. I looked for a refresh button but couldn’t find one, so I closed the app and reopened. Still nothing.

Do I need to be approached for a paid subscription every time I check the weather? I’m not buying one and would appreciate not facing the prompt constantly. I’m new to this, and have heard about the quality of NOAA’s forecast, but you will drive me back to the Weather Channel if I have to be hounded to pay.

The app isn’t as accurate as id like it to be compared to others and it doesn’t give me the weather for my current location, without opening the app. And yes i have the location set to always. However the widget doesn’t automatically update.

Nothing more than the current temp is free. Blurs out most and and tries to make you spend lots of money on this app. Don’t know how anybody would even buy this app considering you get so much more better stuff for free. All these five star reviews are straight up fake unless you’re paying monthly for a basic weather app then maybe it’s good.

Online grift is alive and well. Apple’s stock weather app is terrible. Dark Sky was killed. Every single weather app provider wants to charge subscription fees. Was hoping this one might be classier…nope. Pop up ads, banner ads, paywalls, no one time fee option. Just like all the others. Wants ti pluck money from my wallet every month. Not interested!

This app is completely useless for getting the weather forecast. I would steer everyone away from it as it clearly is only being used to drive click bait revenue and does not care about the consumers desire to simply get the radar/weather. If I could rate it less than one start I would.

I downloaded the app and tried to use it once, only to reach the point where it wanted me to pay for it. No option to not choose yearly or free trial. Could not close it so went ahead and deleted the app from my phone. (It’s still showing up in my app list)

I purchased the app the morning of the Hawaii, Kona Low. I canceled it hours later (no refund). I couldn't get the radar part to load. I couldn't find a tutorial for how to navigate the app. The radar colors didn't look like the little icon suggested it would look. I abandoned the app for The Weather Channel app.

I bought a year subscription. I accidentally deleted the app. When I re downloaded it wouldn’t let me access without paying again. Also - before I downloaded - there’s a tornado watch on our area - and it’s nowhere to be found on this app. Total waste of money.

I accidentally purchased the one year premium plan. Okay, I thought, at least I’ll be on top of this crazy Michigan weather. But nooooo, turns out the free first alert app from my local TV station is better designed, offers info I really want w/o having to “learn” how to use the app. I feel cheated and duped!

I was expecting a detailed weather map that told me what all the lines and colors mean. Why did I have to learn of the cost after I downloaded the app? The maps are not any better than any of the other weather apps.

When you purchase an item that is supposed to be quality like NOAA you would THINK that you would be getting an item that has no works and that you do no continuously have to “restore purchase”. If I were you. I would NOT purchase this!

I opened the app and somehow without acknowledging that I wanted it, I was charged $30. It used my APPLE PAY credit card without my permission. The contact link ties you to some outfit in Vietnam . I’d stay away from this and use one of the many other weather apps.

After downloading what was supposed to be a free app, your options are a 3 day trial, $29 a year or 5.99 a week. No option to get out, so closed happened and did not continue. Removed app and will have to check later to make sure I’m not charged. Ridiculous.

Having used other noaa apps over the past several years this app doesn’t even come close to the others. Don’t waste your time download one of the other apps

The best weather apps are free and work better than this. In Canada try the Environment Canada app. Much better.

Too many Temu ads. You get swamped to the point you can’t see the weather. Big cash grab
