My Moon Phase Pro is the best app for tracking the lunar calendar. It has a sleek dark design which makes it easy to view information such as the current moon cycle, moonrise & moonset times as well as extras such as when the next full moon will be. Everything I need it to be.As a photographer, my reason for needing an app that allowed me to keep up with the moon phase had nothing to do with actually knowing a lot about astrology. This app is direct, easy to understand (for someone without an in depth background knowledge of the night sky), and, as a bonus, told me when golden hour and blue hour are at the beginning and end of every day. The deciding factor was their business approach. Unlike similar apps, this one did not ask me to subscribe to anything. I could pay them a one time fee to do away with the ads (which aren’t intrusive to begin with.) I happily gave them my money because, in a world where everyone wants me to pay them over and over for the same thing, they offered me what I wanted in a one time transaction. All the basics, but for proper moon orientation/tiltThis app has almost all the basics, a clean interface, and useful additional information for photography such as the Golden Hour, etc. However, it would be so much nicer if the moon phase was actually depicted in its proper orientation and tilt, rather than having the shadow line (called the “terminator”) always shown in a vertical position. A truly realistically depicted moon would be a welcomed enhancement..Version: 3.3.0
Widget & Watch ReviewWIDGET REVIEW I loved the old widget and was excited about the possibilities for the new widget update, but I’m not impressed. While the small widget provides the info I want (phase and sun/moon rise/set times), its displayed on a all-black background with a thick font. And the moon animation is small and nothing interesting to look at. I wish it was more visually appealing with a minimalist font. APPLE WATCH REVIEW I got this for my Apple Watch. It offers the following: - Small Complication shows a graphic of the moon phase. - Large Complication names the moon phase. When you touch the app itself in the apps list, there are 3 screens: - Moon Graphic - Sunrise, Sunset, Moonrise & Moonset times - Golden Hour & Blue Hour Times . This is by far the best app for my Apple Watch. UPDATE: touching the complication now opens the app!! Thank you!.Version: 4.2.2
FLY ME TO THE MOON!!I use this app every day. And night. I was raised on a farm but have spent my adult years in suburbia in my teaching career. I’m still a country boy at heart who loves camping and walking out at night. The moon often defines things I can and can’t do outside - just like back in my childhood! Love This AppThere’s lots of media out there that will tell you when the basic moon phases begin. This App Shows You. I enjoy the feature that shows the times for rising and setting, as well as the ability to give you a prediction for viewing in your area (if you enable location). Cool layout, but inaccurateI like alot of things about the app, but I just cant give it 4 or 5 stars when the most basic info is ALWAYS wrong. Check this against any online astrology/zodiac calendar and you’ll see that this app is always 1 or 2 zodiac signs OFF for the moon phase. Seems absurd to get this info wrong. It COULD’VE been a contender. Alas, it falls short and after paying for the pro version, I now have to move on to a different app that will be zodiac reliable. Sigh*.Version: 1.7.1

ComplicationsI like this app because of all of the information it provides and purchased it so that I could have it on my iwatch. I gave 4 stars because I wanted to add the app to my complications but it doesn’t look like I am able to. I like the convenience of having the apps I use most right on my watch face to tap on. Very nice App.I really like this Moon Phase app. It give just enough information for a novice Moon Worshiper. Also includes time lines for sun rise and photography tips for Golden and Blue time lines. Easy to use, I bought Pro version and I believe it’s not that pricey. Cool app but...This is a nice app but the only I think is missing is calendar integration for events creating. Ex: i want to take a picture for my wife or my mom when the sun is golden or at job for my kids when it’s blue hour time.
