Assassin’s Creed Rebellion App Comments & Reviews

Assassin’s Creed Rebellion Positive Reviews

Soooo amazing!!!!!!!! 😍😍😍When I first got this game, I saw a review that told me when you finished the game there was nothing else to do. That led me to thinking that the game was very short, and there wasn’t much exciting material. I downloaded it anyway just to see what it was like. The review I read was wrong: there are so many levels and a beautiful, long story line. In this game, you build an HQ and add rooms to help your assassins get stronger, heal faster, and equip cool weapons and armor. You go on story missions, each unlocking more detail than the next. You also send assassins on missions not associated with the story, which help you gain materials to craft weapons and find DNA. The more DNA you find, the more assassins join your team. One of my favorite parts of the game is that you can choose a cool name for your group. I do have one suggestion, though: Is there any way you can make it so you don’t have to be online to start a mission? I don’t like this because when I’m offline, I can do almost everything in the game other than going on missions. I would be really glad if you could fix that. Thanks!.Version: 2.4.1

Good game, but huge room for improvementThe game is good, fantastic even for some. Let me just say, it might seem like I’m bashing it for being bad. But I’m not. The game starts of fine with showing you how play with it’s simplistic controls that invoke probability. ( I did notice that it seems predetermined) And after that you’re on your own for the most part. Missions are simple and have different approaches for characters and vary from info extract, to loot runs and simple assassin’s creed assassination. The characters are somewhat of a grind, but that that hard. There is a loot crate system for characters. But it’s already easy enough to get characters...so yeah. Not gonna talk about the story to not spoil it. But now let’s talk about its faults. The store is to be expected nowadays with loot crates, but it’s not game breaking. Sometimes the games in game timer glitches out and doesn’t appear, so I’m just confused when “Mission requirements not met” appear and I’m over leveled then I realize the timer isn’t there to tell me that I used up all my mission replays for that specific mission. And now to the last one, probably the elephant in this room. EXP, is a pain to get, daily’s are the only guaranteed way to get tons of it. Missions only give 100, and story missions give you 650 once. That’s the only thing in truly annoyed about, the leveling grind. That’s all I can say about the game for now, until after a few major updates..Version: 2.0.1

Beautiful game design, terrible energy systemFirst of all, this is a beautiful game. The animation style, sound design, and music are great. I has unique gameplay mechanics that are a good balance of luck and skill, and the gacha elements are addicting. But three days into playing, I’m deleting the game. Rebellion has quite possibly the worst energy system I’ve ever seen in this type of game. I saw several reviews saying as much from December, and the developer responded to those saying they’d take the thoughts into consideration. It’s 5 months later and the issue is the same, suggesting they have no intention of fixing it. In nearly every similar game I’ve played, an 8 hour night of sleep will have you waking up to full mission energy. Not Rebellion. Instead, you get roughly 60 “Intel” every 8 hours, and with missions costing between 3-11 intel, that can be as few as 5 missions, or 20ish minutes of gameplay with very few rewards. Additionally, while the “rush” feature is nice to get rewards without playing the levels, your characters take damage when rushing and can take 10-20 minutes to heal after a single rushed mission, putting them out of commission for another rush for that long. Sure, you can heal them with potions and spend premium currency for intel, which is the business model, but the value is horrible and these tactics make me not want to contribute to the game. I’m deleting it as soon as I post this. It’s a shame, because outside of those mechanics, it’s a really neat game..Version: 2.4.1

So close, yet so farI don’t really have any problems for the game itself, but I do have problems for the animations in the game. For example, while forging weapons, it looks like there is a bug that could cause the animation to screw up, making the hammer face backwards, so it looks like it’s being pounded with the person’s elbow. And even when that doesn’t happen, the hammer doesn’t actually even hit the anvil, but stops on the air above it. I think that for that, the animation should start with the character hitting a piece of the material that is used, and it begins to make shape. As for the resource gathering animation, I’ve noticed that the second the chest is opened, a bag appears a few inches away from the assassins left hand, which moves with it until the bag is actually grabbed from the chest. I find that rather anoyying. And then the animations for creating other stuff (like armour and medicine,) could use some work. Whole new topic here. I think something that would really be cool is a sequel to this game, where you get to customize your own assasian, (looks, weapon/armour preference, role, etc,) and essentially play the original game, but from the assasian point of view. Start off alone, then join a “creed” or something. Make your own weapons, armour, and stuff. You’ll get money and resources from doing missions..Version: 3.4.2

I love this! 👏🏻This game is so addicting and has a lot to offer. I really love the way you choose your path and assassins to get through each level, however There are a few things I would change. Like the leveling system for example, I like that you have to train your assassins and getting codexes is easy but I feel that the game gets so hard that you have almost no chance of beating it if you are a few levels short. I like that you have to replay old mission’s to get stronger but it would be nice if you didn’t have to replay levels a lot to get the experience. The DNA is also an issue in my book. Again, I like having to get DNA to rank your assassins up but getting the right DNA for a specific assassin is a long shot...maybe there could be some sort of way to choose an assassin category? Like maybe you could choose healer or stealth category and that would only let you get DNA for those types? And my last problem with this game is the story. I like the story and all the assassins backstories are amazing and add depth to the game but sometimes it just feels like I’m fighting for no reason. Maybe if the story wrapped the assassins into it a little more I wouldn’t feel that way? That’s everything I wanted to say. Thanks for reading this and have an amazing day!”.Version: 2.12.1

Great little game with a bit of wiggle roomI downloaded this game and loved it from the start! I really like games that are balanced so the need for in-app-purchases isn’t really necessary. I’m proud to say that this game fits that bill! Even when you run out of intel to play missions, there are always little things you can do to tweak your Brotherhood (crafting, training, etc.) Intel comes quick. I like that I can pick it up and play a mission or two for a few minutes, put it down and not worry that I’m going to be missing anything when I come back to it later. I love the art style and direction! It really plays to the strengths of how visceral some of the enemy encounters can be without being over-graphic. One thing I did have trouble with was the transition between region 1 and region 2. I got so caught up in the story that my characters were under-leveled and under-geared for Region 2 by a long shot. Although I enjoy that the game doesn’t always hold your hand when it comes to playing, my progression through the missions grinder to an absolute halt in Region 2. Although, it forced me to take my time and farm the DNA fragments and take part in the events which I really now enjoy doing. Overall, I really like this game and give it a 4.5/5!.Version: 2.1.0

Game seems fun but keeps crashing...I am a huge fan of the Assassins Creed titles, which is why it was no question but to download this game and try it. The game seems great...but glitchy. The tutorial was a bit long, don’t even know if I am all the way entirely through it, but the game would crash every time I finished one of the missions, but before I would get credit for completing it, so I would have to do it over and over again. I eventually got through it after the 10th or so try, but have found myself once again in the same crash loop. It keeps making me build a room to level up my players but every time it try’s to search for a mission to find more of their DNA it crashes. I tried different characters with no avail. I was able to figure out how to back out of it and play a mission, but every time I come back it makes me do the same thing and it crashes again. Again the game seems fun and I enjoyed the bit that I did get to complete, but it just is too glitchy to really enjoy. I was able to play though the pain of it crashing in the middle of a mission before but even if I could get past where it is stuck now, I feel like it will only get more frustrating as the missions get more challenging for it to crash right as I am completing something. I would love to see the bugs worked out so I could play it some more. I am sorry I could not rate it higher, maybe it deserves more, I just can’t tell yet. This is the first time I have ever rated any app ever since the first iPod touch had downloadable apps, I would normally just delete the game and move on, but I would really love to find myself fully enjoying this game. Please look into these bugs and make the game a bit more stable..Version: 2.0.1

Xcom but with a LONG WaitThe game play and aspects surrounding it feel new and fresh. The strategy and what I would call gambling with percentages is fairly enjoyable. You clench a bit on percentages that are close. I like the fact that how the game play works, it makes you use different characters. The gotcha portion of the game does not feel too bad. You can grind for pieces of characters and the starting guys don’t feel awful, in part due to my previous comment. The building portion of the game feels a bit unnecessary, but it is a choice and I don’t hate it. The buildings do not have build times, which is good and the training timers/ research timers are not terrible. Where the game falls flat for me is the energy timers. I’m sitting at level 10 with 2 guys in my intel building and I get 55 energy per 7.5 hours. When level cost 11 energy that means 5 levels every 7.5 hours. So about 15-30 minutes of game play in the span. That’s a joke and what makes it more of a joke is the real world currency to buy the energy is roughly $1.50 for 50 energy. Honestly I wish I had realized this before I spent real money on this game. Overall the game portion of it is 4-5 stars, but the waiting portion is a 1 star so I averaged it to 3. Fix the BS with energy and it would be 5. Until then maybe save your cash..Version: 2.0.1

My Thoughts on the game and ideas for the gameThis game is really well made, obvious as it’s made my a well known video game publisher. Only things I do not like about this game is UI and the bodies disappearing, now the second is just my thing for all games as I hate it when bodies disappear after a kill because it makes it seem a bit goofy but I’m sure that is because they don’t want the game to lag from all the bodies on the screen at one time. Now the first thing is a actual complaint the UI needs to be a bit more clean the colors are kinda dark and it makes things blend or hide from a wondering eye as I scan the screen which is a problem a lot of games need to fix and I think the best thing would be to either lighten the colors slightly don’t want to make it look like a rainbow but just less dark blue because that is everywhere. Oh and a really good idea! would be to add small bios with each character so that people can learn who they are and which game/era they come from kinda like in the fire emblem game on the App Store. That would be awesome for some people like me who are not a super duper hardcore fan that knows everyone from every game. Plus more lore is always good and the only other thing I could ask of is add more assassins like Connor and Altair get those big names out there! (Plus Connor is my favorite assassin and it would be awesome for him to be a more direct/dps assassin since he had such a more head on and vicious fighting style in AC3. Thank you for listening!.... Edit 1 - another great idea that would make this game look a lot better is if when you move from room to room and you reach the end of a room instead of your other assassins just teleporting in a cheap way it should have them actually run up like they caught up or even enter through like a window or something depending on the room. It would make the game look a lot better but that’s just my thought..Version: 2.0.1

I want to love this gameThis game has very good features! The strategy needed to over come each rooms challenges is very fulfilling. Building your team and getting better members and abilities is great. Even having to farm for better hero’s is not as tedious as some games. It’s biggest problem is the fact that I cannot play more of it. The “Intel” or credits needed to play missions accrue so slowly that that after 20 or 30 mins of play you are stuck playing another game. The developers have balanced game play so that pay to win players are not so strong it is not fun for players who have a smaller budget, which is refreshing. However there is just not enough activities to keep a player engaged. I would like to spend more money on it, but I am not going to dump money into a game I can only play 30 mins a day. Either intel credits need to generate faster or other side activities are needed to keep a player engaged. Games are supposed to distract me from dead time not create more. All the building blocks of a great game are here, it just needs more of it..Version: 2.1.0

Still love this game after almost an entire year!I love collecting every new assassin that come out. Missions are fun when you can use each character’s unique skills but there is just one problem. I’ve ranked up a lot of heroes but I’m almost always using the same ones. The event bonuses for certain heroes make events more fun but a lot of heroes I have don’t get the love they deserve, especially some who have awesome skills that I never get to use because I just never realized they had it. It would be cool if we could filter search for heroes by specific skills like the one in the search criteria in the mobile game Yu-gi-oh Duel links. I also have a bunch of empty rooms waiting to be filled with something, maybe a training room where we can teach new skills to heroes somehow. They could be new skills or maybe skills that are specific to certain heroes. Or a room for a workshop where we can buy or craft equipment or temporary skills that we can use in missions. The game could also use some more support, heal, and disarm specialists that are legendary or epic..Version: 2.7.0

Loot Boxes (Ubisoft will be Ubisoft) P2P (Edit)This game really wants you buy their stuff. In this game, you can’t really be a F2P player. I’ve played this game to the 5th stage and frankly I’ve already hit a wall. The characters they give you to start with are so weak. I’ve leveled them to the max level before promotion and it’s difficult. I even got them the armor and weapons but it’s still weak. Trying to find DNA to promote the characters in the early stages is rather difficult considering how weak the characters are. You literally have to spend money to get new characters or in game currency to draw DNA. Not only that, to get the DNA via drawing, you don’t even get the characters. You have to build up the characters by constantly drawing them. Which ends up making the player pay more money just to get a rare. The logic of a greedy company will never understand the works of a gacha game. You need to balance F2P and P2P. Not have the deal of $15 for 2 characters. That’s like a full new game on the console already. Also don’t throw a selling ad of characters after every mission. It’s rather annoying. I like your game concept. In my opinion, it’s really fun but pretty difficult with the wall. I like the characters that are released. That’s pretty much all about the good side of this game. Characters and the gameplay. Edit: It seems like they heard our complaints and have balanced the drawing system somewhat. Instead of just getting dna fragments, you have a chance to get the character all in itself instead of their fragments. They still have loot boxes but it’s a hero collector. I’m glad they somewhat balanced it. Still needs a lot of work though. This game was in beta for a long time, you’d think some of these bugs, balancing and glitches would be fixed..Version: 2.0.2

Love it!I’m glad I stuck it out with all the crashing at the start. Occasional crash but I tend to play for a while. It’s definitely a slow progression through the game, but playing everyday and replaying the missions is key. Could use some improvements. Maybe a way to send a single assassins out on scouting missions to be able to bring in more copper and iron. Would also be a good chance for assassins to earn some extra exp for leveling up. Seems a waste to see assassins just wondering around. 5 replays on loot missions is great but when you have more than 5 assassins it gets challenging to bring in enough materials. Would also be nice if we would get either exp for each character when we play missions or maybe a DNA point. I love getting the rare characters like Kassandra but since I’m unable to rank her up due to NO missions dropping her DNA, it’s pointless to continue to level her up. The game gets a lot harder so the rare characters give you an extra little boost. Keeping us from making them better puts a real downer on the whole game..Version: 2.1.0

URGENT APPEAL: CHINA REGION LOGIN & CLOUD SAVE FAILURE - ASSASSIN'S CREED REBELLIONI have been a loyal player of Assassin's Creed Rebellion for six years—six wonderful years of accompanying the assassins through countless adventures, and I absolutely adore every one of these charismatic characters. Their stories, courage, and the unique strategic gameplay have made this game an indispensable part of my life. However, I’m devastated to report a critical, region-specific issue that has completely ruined the gaming experience for all Chinese users. Currently, immediately after launching the app, we are all stuck on the login screen with no way to access the main game interface. Worse still, the core cloud save feature has become fully unavailable, putting our six years of game progress, hard-earned achievements, and precious in-game data at severe risk of permanent loss. This devastating bug has triggered a wave of negative reviews from Chinese players, and we are all deeply anxious and disappointed. The development team has confirmed a fix is ready and an update will be submitted soon. We urgently beg for your assistance in prioritizing the review of this critical patch, or providing technical guidance to resolve this China-exclusive issue as quickly as possible—we can’t bear to lose the game we’ve loved and dedicated six years to. Thank you for your urgent attention and support. We sincerely look forward to your prompt response to save our gaming journey with the assassins..Version: 3.9.1

Super fun, but a bit limitedFirst off, I would like to start by saying that the gameplay is awesome. I’ve had a ton of fun playing this whether I only had a few minutes or close to an hour. The gameplay is immersive, the story is interesting, and the characters are super fun to watch as they grow and level up. My only problem with the game right now is the in game currency called intel. In order to gin on any of the missions, you must spend intel. It does replenish over time, but it does so at an EXTREMELY slow rate. It takes 8 hours to generate around 50 intel, while each mission requires at least 5 intel to attempt. This means that one can only play the game for at most about 30 minutes every eight hours, and really that number is much smaller considering that the higher level missions can cost around 11 intel to attempt instead of five. Games with similar systems such as contest of champions are far more reasonable with the regeneration of energy, the equivalent of intel in that game, and if they are able to balance this problem, then I would change my rating to five stars in a heartbeat..Version: 2.0.1

Too slowGame is fun because its a puzzle game. Few problems though. It takes too long to aquire enough intel to last a day and missions cant be replayed than a certain amount and take about half to a full day to replay. Another problem is that, in order to succeed or play certain missions, you must meet requirements of the mission, but in order to meet a requirement like a tank at 480 power, you have to promote your tank to get there but the mission to get more DNA can only be played lets say 3 times in a day before the mission is “depleted”. Then you’re pretty much bored until its not depleted. Even if there was no depletion of missions, in some cases you’re not depleted but you have no intel, it takes close to half a day to collect a third of your max intel storage. Way too slow and believe me, i’ll forget this game is fun because of the fact that wait in between is too long and the play time after the long wait is too short. I literally only play this game when i wake up cuz i let the game do its thing during sleep and at night after i let the game do its thing after work. If i have a day off, this game will be boring.Version: 2.0.1

Enjoyable and funI love the way the game does simple things. Most games when you want to build or upgrade a room or unlock something takes time for it to build. You've already spend the time gathering resources and then you have to wait more for building. But not in this one and I think for that fact alone this game is worth five stars. But it has so much more to offer. The unique puzzles and paths you can take on a map is unlike any other game I've played on the phone. And yeah this is a very enjoyable phone game! You can play it for ten minutes when you have time or sit down and play it for an hour. You'll have the resources to do that and they're pretty easy to come by even when you aren't paying for the subscription. Yes this game has some in app purchases but you don't need them. And there's no online so you don't have to be worried that your going to be squashed by someone who's payed to win. Overall this game is fun fresh and ready for anyone.Version: 2.1.0

Good but needs some changesFirstly this is a good start for this game. Interesting missions to play that requires you to think everything through before acting. However progression is really slow. The level gating on equipment is tied to your level which is slow grind mainly do to the lack of xp sources. The main quests can stall out really fast because you need a high power level but to get a higher power level you need better equipment. Its a strange loop that takes way to long. They other major issue is that it takes 24 hours to recharge event specific energy with the only other way to get more is to spend premium currency. I do appreciate that it is separate from the main energy resource but when you can only play the event once or maybe twice a day due to slow recharge rates its kind of annoying. The annual pass also lacks value. The speed up is a cool idea but it think it should also include helix credits or dna maybe on a daily basis. A 20% speed up really doesn't hold a $8.99 value in my eyes. Really interested to see what path this game takes over the upcoming months..Version: 2.0.1

Enjoying game, but energy regeneration TOO SLOW.I am enjoying the game. It is similar to other games I have played where you collect heroes and grind to improve their rank, level, and equipment. I am okay with the grind. If I had one complaint, it would be that the energy regeneration rate is WAY TOO SLOW. Waiting for the energy refresh is painfully slow and the payout is that only a few missions can be run on the limited amount of energy throughout the day. The benefit does not outweigh the cost of the wait which I fear will lead me to get bored and give up the game. MY RECOMMENDATION would be for the refresh rate of energy to be twice the rate of what it is currently or AT THE VERY LEAST have the energy bar reset to full strength at midnight every night. UPDATE: As another person mentioned, I had an issue yesterday where I completed all of the daily tasks an no more were listed, however the award for completing all of the daily tasks said that only 9/10 tasks were completed and the system would not award me the final award for completing all of the tasks..Version: 2.1.0

Really enjoy the game just one requestSo im a huge fan of Assassins Creed games in general but it is refreshing to have one that i can play on my phone consistently without feeling to overwhelmed but also feeling pretty engaged with lots to do and lots of playability. One of my only real concerns so far is leveling my assassins up. Between the gold cost, the codex requirement, and the sheer amount of time it takes to level somone up, i find that a lot of my characters simply get left behind and are not used including new gold characters i get that i just can’t afford to bring up to my current level. A simple remedy to this i think would be a small but steady exp gain for characters as you use them so like maybe completing a mission with a character rewards those characters with 150 exp or maybe more depending on who was used and how much during the mission. I really think that its an extremely small change to the core mechanic that could make all the difference for some people especially me. Because at this point i have found myself stuck where i have finished all the missions at my current level but my characters are too weak or under leveled to do any new ones. And the cost and time requirement to level them higher or outfit them with real gear requires me to spend massive amounts of time grinding resources to make gear followed by waiting for them to train if i even have enough codexes to train them with in the first place. Besides that the only other option is spending real money which is not an option nor an appealing choice for anyone. This leaves me feeling bored and tired of a game i really wanted to enjoy and see grow. Please don’t take this review as an attack at the product i think it has a lot of potential and personally i think the exp gain for used characters is a reasonable solution to consider. Ultimately i stand by your decisions to build your product how you want to as a company but i as a consumer feel that its your job as a producer to make me want to play your game and spend time in it..Version: 2.4.1

Good in theoryThis game is good in theory. It’s a pretty simplistic game that requires a bit of strategy. As a huge fan of both Assassin’s Creed and strategy games, I was pretty excited to find this. I took a look and saw that you were able to recruit characters like Altair and Bayak and that made me even more excited. This game has been out for a few years now so I’m a bit surprised it took me so long to find it. All that said, there’s a reason I’m only giving 3 stars despite raving about it so much: a game this old and this simplistic has no business setting my phone on fire and crashing it as often as it does. My phone isn’t exactly the newest on the market but it’s still an iPhone X. There is absolutely no reason I should be struggling to run a game this small and simple. And this is a MAJOR issue that desperately needs fixing. Add a way to lower graphic quality (which is already super low imo), slap on a low power mode, something. Anything! I shouldn’t be able to run games like League of Legends easier than I can run this..Version: 3.5.1

Crashes and loot boxesThe game crashes every time I try to find dna for a character and multiple times entering a mission. Now it is only there second day and they can obviously patch crashes and I really hope that what happens Loot boxes are a very controversial issue in the gaming industry and it obvious the Ubisoft is trying to make money off this game via the loot boxes. Now you may farm common or even rare character in the legacy mission but if you want that ezio or shoa jun (totally forgot how to spell there names) you better whip out your mama credit card and spend 6 dollars on 10 loot boxes that you may have a chance at getting I’m a big assassin creed fan sense I was 10 and I really want Ubisoft to have a success mobile game but currently with the crashes and the money-sucking loot boxes that is not happening. But don’t get me wrong the game isn’t terrible the looks of the game is beautiful and the combat is fun for ME. I just hope they find a solution to the loot boxes.Version: 2.0.1

Great but can still improveSo far I am loving the game, I like the fact it really isn’t multiplayer focused. The game does crash on me from time to time but I expect that to be fixed within an update soon. My major concern is dealing with rush missions, it makes no sense how a little health was taken and yet I have to wait for my characters to have full health just to redo them again. One last thing that really bugs me is that it feels like you need a lock-pick on every stage just to get good rewards. Either keys should be added or make it where even if you bust a chest open there’s a chance to get the best reward. This next mention is just an idea really but maybe (if there isn’t a mode like this already) there could be a mode you try to infiltrate other players castles. This would be more for the people who have completed it and it gives those players a chance to test out their defenses or team. Other than that I just ask for more characters from previous games Templar or Assassins..Version: 2.3.1

Love This Game...BuuutttI have been playing this game for quite a while now. Irritating family & friends by hurrying up to get online for the special “hour” of low costs for various items along with trying to catch the free cube. It very fun; challenging. The design is really good! Of course, it is designed to cause you to purchase those items they have for sake that’ll give you an edge. But, for most people, spending that on a game won’t work. Regardless, that’s a given with iOS game apps. What I’m really upset about lately is that it CONTINUES to crash now. It never did before. So I’m frustrated when I’m doing really well on a higher level, allmmoosstt done with the last room when FREEZE & CRASH! Ugh!!!! I’m still playing because I love the game; but what the HECK?!? Is there a solution? My phone is not the most current but it isn’t old either. When the game plays without issues for months & then suddenly begins to randomly crash, it is strange, no?.Version: 2.1.0

Model for every mobile game should followI’ve played since release and have not spent a single cent on this game. I am maxed and almost always contest on events for top 10. Micro-transactions are mostly worth it, but you can definitely do everything F2P. The gameplay works perfectly fine and upgrading heroes is always satisfying. The unsung hero of this game is definitely the customer support. I have never seen a team so dedicated on implementing new things and listening to the community. I finally ended up writing this review after they compensated me for a bug that happened 2 months ago where they forgot to include a reward in an event—and i was in awe. I hear people get bored after completing the game, but that is a really big understatement. This app has a formula that makes it still feel satisfying after the game ends, and it works. It’s a chill game with always a feeling of progress whenever you play it. please add nightstalker as hero.Version: 2.7.0

Amazing game!!... However,First off this is definitely one of the best games I have played for in a while. I have gotten to lvl 10 and even have Ezio but in the main story line of missions each time you finish one there is about 10-30 power upgrade that your hero’s are expected to get in between levels. This is totally fine and makes the game way more fun however In between levels 6 and 7 there is weirdly a 290 power upgrade that is expected of your heros, this means that you must upgrade your hero’s to be about twice as good as they were between one level. This frustrates me and I have now found myself trying to play events and get legendaries in order to just beat one level. If you run into this problem yourself then what I suggest is to play daily missions to get xp and then play events to get legendaries in order to move on. Thank you so much for reading to the end of this review, and good luck assassins.Version: 2.7.1

Better Than You’d ExpectGoing into this game, I’ll be honest, I expected it to be a cash grab with no heart or fun. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Assassin’s Creed Rebellion wasn’t a game I was expecting to like, but it’s actually very fun. I have been playing for about a week and a half and I already have Altaïr. It wasn’t even that hard, just rushing the Helix Rift missions. As someone who hasn’t played the older Assassin’s Creed games, I have no idea who is in the game from those games, but I did enjoy AC Odyssey, as it may be the best Greek RPG out there. I would love to see Brasidas in the game, as Sokrates and Alkibiades are both in the game and Athenian aligned in AC Odyssey, so it would be nice to see a Spartan aligned secondary character in the game. Overall, this game is actually quite fun. It’s that kind of game you open a couple times a day and do your tasks, or starting crafting something, or do a mission. Very fun..Version: 3.5.7

So. Freaking. SlooooooooowLike other reviewers have posted, the game starts off simple enough. However, almost immediately it becomes exponentially more difficult to progress without leveling up your characters and gear etc. Which is okay, but it’s just like hitting a brick wall in the middle of your game playing. Personally I don’t mind a challenge but I’ve been grinding for three days straight to get past the second chapter and it’s just too boring. I like leveling up my players but cmon! Want to give them exp? Gotta train them using codex. Out of codex? Just do a few old mission runs. Oh wait, you need “orders” to do missions. And those take forever to fill up. For example, once you hit chapter 2 missions, it takes 11 order points to run a mission. It takes 8 hours to get you 70 orders, which means after waiting all day, you’ll be able to do a quick 6-7 old mission runs. Sorry but no thanks. And the deal/offers are a joke. Monthly subscription gets you a 20% more loot.. but 20% of too little is still too little. Pass..Version: 2.3.0

Great game ... but ...Like everything else they have mastered the ability to over charge on everything. I have no problem paying money for games. I have no problem spending $60 on a game I would really enjoy even if it’s an app (hours per enjoyment). What bothers me is the fact that this game doesn’t allow you to pay for the full experience. They charge you for every little thing. So unless you have hours upon hours to wait per level or event, etc. the only way to enjoy this full time is to spend a lot of money. If you’re looking for a casual game to play here and there then it’s great and free. But if you start playing and really enjoy it beware you’ll be charged a lot of money if you want to level up or not wait to play the next maps/areas. If they charged 1/4th the cost I’d have no problem spending money. But at the rates they have right now it’s absolutely crazy!.Version: 2.1.0

Good game that isn’t my jam.I was impressed with so much of this game. The graphics and the esthetic of the game are all great. I love the way the missions are laid out and that you can take different paths and sometimes find extra stuff. I enjoyed all of that. I appreciated that when you need something specific you can immediately discover available missions where you can get that thing. All of this was designed well. The one issue and this is the big one for me. It felt endless. I had the ability to play constantly and all the time. Unfortunately I am too busy for that. I suppose that I could exert self control and put the game down, but if the game is great that gets harder to do. I have several games that require brief attention each day. All of them you can get something from playing them more, but it is like the difference between a grind and taking advantage of the daily special. I guess this game was too good and too much of a time sink for me to play..Version: 2.1.0

Enjoyable, different and a bit grindyI’ve been playing since just after launch and have more or less hit the ceiling - multiple of the T5 gears, running grandmaster during the events, just slowly getting everyone to max. For all intents, I’ve “completed” the game and just being a completionist. That said, rarely has a mobile game made me want to do so. The best thing about the game is it truly is a FTP game that can be completed without spending a dollar. Sure, dropping helix (the premium currency) might allow you to do better during the events, but it’s not needed. Give it time and you’ll have all the characters at max and finish all the missions. And if you do pay... it’s not much of a bonus since your gains you’d get next time. Paying here is really for the impatient. Now the downsides - there are bugs (and some have been around for a long time). There are places they’ve overlooked (some characters don’t have T5 gear for armor, but do for weapons and accessories... ???) and updates are few and far between. But that last one I also see as a boon - it lets you be patient and collect your heroes without feeling rushed to start on the next set that drop. I have this game it’s fifth star just because after all this time, I want to keep playing. That overcomes the bugs and everything else. But just keep those things in mind!.Version: 2.6.2

A fun little time killerHello! I’m a big Assassin’s Creed fan and this game is no different. Of course it is a lot different than all the others, but it’s still fun none the less. The hero system is actually really fun, learning to balance your squad based on their skills that may or may not help during a mission is fun. It isn’t pay to win however the waiting time in the end game can be quite long which isn’t a problem if you’re just playing this for time killing. It actually has a hooking plot and offers a wide selection of heros from the Assassin’s Creed universe. The mission system is chance based and there can be moments that are a little infuriating but as you level up your heros and their skills, these become easier and easier to do. All and all, this game is fun and doesn’t require a lot of waiting to jump into the action like most mobile games and it’s easy to get a hold of.Version: 2.12.0

A good start, but lots of room for moreFirst off, I have really enjoyed the game. I love unlocking the characters, seeing their abilities, and managing them. I’m currently max level and anticipate playing for some time longer. The gameplay is great with only the occasional debilitating screen glitch. For the most part the level grind is hardly an issue. The real issue has to do with the balance between intel (what you use to play levels) and the resources you need that can only be acquired through playing levels. I’m pretty good about collecting my intel as often as possible, but I’m still constantly running out, especially when I’m trying to get DNA. The low amount of intel makes leveling up characters, making gear, and collecting DNA for new/low star characters a week long task. Most of my characters are low level and gearless because it’s been such a grind to keep my few go-to characters equipped for the next levels. I’m max level but only just unlocked the 4th of 5 areas and still haven’t been able to play the first level because it requires two of a character type that I only have one of at high level. I’ve been working on getting another of the character type for almost a month and still have weeks to go because it’s so hard to get the intel to acquire the DNA, XP, and loot needed to get another character ready. Meanwhile the constant events are stealing my attention and using up my intel as I prepare for them. Another thing is that the game looks empty. I have every room unlocked and there is so much empty space! It makes your buildings look like shambles, and at the current state of the game there’s little to nothing you can do about it. Even if you put everything into the first two buildings it leaves the last building looking abandoned with nothing available to change it. They need to add more rooms for the HQ or take away one of the HQ buildings. More healing rooms, another promotion room, or maybe a second intel room would be nice. With it they could increase the level cap to 50 instead of the awkward 39 it is now, and possibly make the XP per level scaling a little higher..Version: 2.2.1

So great and addicting! But...There are definitely some things that need adjusting. Why do the characters need to be at FULL health to rush? Rushing only drops their health a small amount. The full health thing makes 0 sense and it’s incredibly annoying. You might as well pick some random characters and put the mission on “auto.” Another thing is that there’s an issue when going from the “promote” screen to the DNA cube screen. When you click on “find DNA” and then go to the cube screen and you have a free cube waiting, you click it and you get it free. But then it STILL says “free” so you click it again, but it’s actually NOT free and you just wasted 200 helix credits. This desperately needs to be fixed and I think everyone should get a free 200 helix credits from Ubisoft for this mistake. When it comes to the rooms: why is the supposed “living quarters extension” NOT an extension? I’m saying, if you put it next to the other living quarters, you don’t have an option to merge them. It’s just two room next to each other. Other games like this allow you to merge the rooms! Why do we have to wait until Brotherhood level 20 to make medicine? It seems extremely far away, especially when we have to wait until the characters are full health to rush anything. Aside from these issues, I think the game is so fun and I think you guys did a great job. Just fix the issues and it’ll be great!.Version: 2.0.2

I love this game! Wish there was multiplayer thoughI absolutely love this game I like the art style and the gameplay is addictive. Although it does take a while to upgrade your assassins, you feel accomplished when they finally have enough DNA to level up. It’s great to play by yourself but I do wish they’d add something to it to where you can play with friends or have a sort of chain of brotherhoods with friends. I also wish the gear and equipment did a little more for you considering once you reach the second region, you take a big skip in need of power for your assassins. So you have to wait for enough DNA to level up an assassin that you need and they takes a little while. You’ll have to replay multiple episodes multiple times to get enough for something that you need and that takes forever. Other than that, the game is amazing..Version: 2.7.1

Such a cute little game!It is rare you find a game like Rebellion which is so friendly towards free to play characters. Not only do they start you of with lots of powerful characters, but the way the game is designed allows you have a fun experience without any monetary investment. I love the cute little animation style. I am not even mad when my characters fail skill checks because they lock so funny doing so. As far as game design goes, I do wish their was a player character which we could style and stat out. It would be awesome if we had more control of how our assassin main character looks and what state they had. It would also be nice if skills were better balanced; assassination and free-running are way more useful than dps or hp in the majority of situations. I would also love if rifles and bows were added as weapons..Version: 3.5.6

Ignore the percentagesI really like this game - easy game mechanics, easy to build up a nice roster of heroes, and that roster spans a lot of the Assassins Creed games, in addition to having great characters unique to this game. The graphics are very good, and the chibi-like appearance keeps it fun. I *think* the story is good, but one of the problems with the game is that instead of having steadily increasing challenges, the stages - both in the story and in the side missions - feature gradually increasing challenges, followed by leaps in difficulty level. This is especially evident in the rotating Challenges, where a few days won’t give you time to level up your characters, so you find your level and stick to it. But it’s hard to get in the story continuity when you play 5-6 stages, then have to replay them until you’re up for the next level. Finally, when you’re looking at the challenges while playing a stage, don’t get too hung up on the % chance of success it gives. I won’t say the game is unfair, but you need to remember that if you have an 80% chance of success, you have a 20% chance of failure - and failing one doesn’t mean you’ll succeed 15 seconds later when you have an 80% chance on the very next challenge. So while the game may be fair when that happens, it’s not much fun. But it’s only a game, and I enjoy it more than most. Highly recommended..Version: 2.3.1

Fantastic game, but.The game is amazing it’s fun, adorable and addicting but I feel there’s tons of non popular characters. I know that this is a pretty early review about the character selection, but I’m often confused on who is who. mind me, I haven’t really played the chronicles or liberation. I know you guys at ubisoft are big trolls or rush things out at times so don’t take this like an whiny downloader review take this as an opinion; but back to the topic at hand, we need the main series characters, Edward, Jacob and Eve, Alexios and Kassandra, ETC. ETC. (Sorry if I am misspelling the names) I would love to see of those characters. Yes I am aware this game is new and still needs to add content but you already have tons of characters. if you are reading this then thank you for listen to my, uh, opinion. But seriously this game is amazing it’s not too heavy for micro transactions but the membership is a small force in my eyes. But keep up the great work ubisoft!.Version: 2.0.1

Constantly CrashesOn an iPhone 6 with the most recent iOS installed. Game crashes every 60 seconds. Looks like it could be fun but it’s just not playable at this point. Will update rating once the crashing issue is fixed. Update: game crashes have significantly dropped. Only happens a couple times now during attempting to find DNA from the character screen. Other than that no more crashes so I can enjoy the game now. Game itself is pretty fun, though it is all chance based depending on your character level, so not much player skill is needed, but I am still finding the game enjoyable. Don’t expect this to be a game you can get everything you want immediately. Yes, there are power walls but over time you can build up your power level. Welcome to mobile gaming to all those complaining about this. Game is very fun to pick up for 10-20 minutes and come back to it in an hour or so. This is not a sit down and play all day type of game, so perfect for people who have a life and don’t sit on their phones all day. Only complaint is the level rushing once you 3 star a level. Star Wars galaxy of hero’s does rushing well. I understand that would make the medicine worthless then, but maybe make a “heal all” button and/or offer more medicine? The faster people run out of energy the more likely they will buy more, right? :-).Version: 2.0.2

Loving this so far, but please address the crashing problemI just recently got this app for my iPhone 6, and I must say that I enjoy it very much. A long time Assassin’s Creed fan from day one, I find this right up my alley. There isn’t enough praise I can give about this, even with the short amount of time I’ve been playing; however the game is always crashing on me and closing. I’ve read a few of the reviews and seen that others have experienced the same thing. It’ll crash randomly at any time, which makes me fearful of extended play, especially when in the middle of a mission, where then I have lost the “intel” as well (besides just plain taking me out of the immersion entirely). Is there any way that this issue can be resolved? A five star game, if not for the crashing problem, however in all honesty I cannot see myself playing this for long should this problem persist..Version: 2.5.0

Fund, different, super glitchyI’ve been enjoying this game for a few days now, or more over, trying to. I enjoy the play style and the different objectives between performing missions, and maintaining and upgrading your characters, equipment and base. So far rewards and costs seem pretty well balanced so it’s not just a perpetual grind with minimal payoff. The biggest issue so far is the crashing and it’s incredible frequency. If you do anything else before a mission, tweak your characters or mess with your base, it will almost always crash. And if you go straight into a mission there’s still a 50/50 chance it will crash before you finish the level. Or is you’re lucky after the mission, so you get your loot, but before you can get back to your main screen. I like this game, it’s a different gear for Assassins franchise but fun, but until this crash is worked out I’m gonna have to give it a break for a little bit and hope the issue is resolved..Version: 2.0.1

Fun premise, kills timeMissions have simple, probability based choices that you can be improved with gear, leveling, or upgrading. It can get kind of grindy trying to get upgrade points for the characters (capped at 9 a day) but doing the Animus challenges and Rift events helps break it up some. Yes, the intel does refill kind of slowly, but it’s free game so you can’t really complain. Loot boxes are relatively easy to get for free. Animus challenges cycle every 3-4 days and you get one if you complete it plus Helix credits Complete the daily objectives and you get one every 5 days. Log in every day for a month and you will have 9 by the end of the month plus 500ish Helix Credits. Between Helix credits for log-in rewards and Animus challenges you can usually get two super loot boxes a month if you don’t waste credits. That’s 20 plus loot boxes a month if you are patient. Overall enjoyable experience for a free game..Version: 2.1.0

No adds so far....Decent fun little game based off percentages. Give it a go!.Version: 2.3.1

Becomes very repetitiveKudos to this game for a new style of mobile rpg, but the game gets very repetitive and predictable after hours of game play. While the stages do get harder, the way to beat them is to grind (redo missions) to train up. Doesn’t really require any strategies or thinking.Version: 2.0.2

Frustrating glitchesFinally collected enough DNA to promote an assassin for the event coming up, just after clicking the promote button, the # of DNA went from 32 to 2 without promotion and say I don’t have enough DNA.... please fix the glitch....Version: 2.0.2

Can you give me the Kassandra character I have assassin‘s creed OdysseySomehow give it to me please.Version: 2.8.2

Aliens: Colonial Marines remakeA remake of Aliens: Colonial Marines would be a fantastic opportunity for a game whose potential was tragically wasted due to a undercooked really story, graphics, dialogue and AI. And with the Aliens franchise undergoing a resurgence as of late, especially in gaming, a remake of a game like Colonial Marines would be great with all the other remakes coming out considered..Version: 3.11.1

Good gameI spend a lot of time on this game and the quality never declines.Version: 3.11.1

We need new charactersI don’t know how long it’s been but this game needs new characters added like Roshan, Young Basim, Aveline, Henry Green, The colonial assassins from ac rogue, and with Assassin’s Creed shadows coming up soon, the addition of Naoe, Yasuke and their allies too.Version: 3.5.9

IPhone GameMissed open world , saga games..Version: 3.6.1

Decent But CheesyOkay, the characters are soooo cute but graphics are pretty bad. Combat system is nice but I wish that we could have a more diverse story (I really can’t be talking I’ve only completed the first chapter) as where when a new game drop we could maybe “play along” to the story for example we could have a story related to Naoe and Yasuke but in AC rebellion. So yeah overall pretty decent but worse than I expected.Version: 3.6.1

Broken menuI love the AC franchise just to clarify, but this game isnt the best. First of all, they make characters like Ezio and Altaïr have 1 star rating but Eivor and some of the newer characters have 5 star rating. Clear favouritism. And as for my other problem, the menu after completing the tutorial is softlocking me from the actual game. No exit option is presented. Not sure why this happens. But for the rest of it, this is an okay game..Version: 3.5.8

Lost gameSo I had played this game through to the end of lvl4, was awaiting the lvl5 upgrade and switched devises during the wait. When I opened up the game on my new devise, I lost all my characters, all my equipment upgrades, essentially all the time and effort spent getting to the top of the game.. I really enjoyed it but don’t want to start all over again.Version: 3.5.8

😁Good game. No complains! 😀.Version: 3.5.8
