This is a very nice app. Helps get your mind off of your daily stress. But for older people who are in the beginning stages of dementia it would be wonderful if you didn’t have some of the stages timed. Or the option of it not being timed. If you would consider putting out something like that, I think you’d have even more people downloading app.

You’d be hard pressed to find a game of this type that has better graphics, smoother piece movements, or more equally complicated and satisfying-to-solve puzzles HOWEVER I had to delete this and re-download it to start over because while it is fun to play, I finally reached a level that was impossible to solve within the 55 seconds allowed. I agree with the other reviews stating so many of the levels are impossible to solve within the time allowed on the first try and it’s very hard to keep a streak or win any of the streak-related side quests. I’m also not a pay-to-play kind of person, but I’d watch an ad for an extra life if that were an option. Additionally (and I reached out to the devs in the hopes that this can be addressed) there doesn’t seem to be any accommodation for colorblind players and the purple and blue openings are SO close to the boarder and background that I spend a lot of time trying to solve puzzles due to not being able to see that the purple door is open, for example. It would be great if there were a colorblind mode or if the boarder and background could have a little more contrast for those of us who have trouble seeing colors. Otherwise, this is a fantastic game.

I really love this game, but it’s impossible to pass certain levels without spending my money out of my pocket on upgrades or extra coins, etc. There’s no option to watch any ads to get help or get extra coins to finish levels. I deleted this app because I didn’t want to spend any more money out of pocket to just pass a level. It’s a waste of money because you run into the exact same problem again in another few levels.

Game is well made and easy to learn. Puzzles are addictive and challenging. My only wish is for more time or bonuses as I am not a pay to play type of person. Some of these puzzles make you lose a good streak simply due to the amount of time it takes if you don’t guess perfectly straight from the start, 0 room for error to keep the streak alive to earn rewards.

This game is very enjoyable and fun to play. It keeps players entertained with exciting challenges, interesting gameplay, and plenty of opportunities to improve skills. The graphics and overall design make the experience even better. Whether playing alone or with friends, the game provides hours of entertainment and is easy to recommend to others.

I saw this game on an ad and now I am addicted! All puzzles are possible, but hard with the limited time. And you have to pay to get coins. I would enjoy if there was an ad option to get some extra coins. Also sometimes the lives are annoying! If you lose you can run out of lives and have to wait 3-20 minutes!!!! I would recommend downloading this game it is very fun.

This game is amazing. No ads all fun, it has a good concept and fund gameplay plus it is just like what the ad says. In the game you have a timer and if you don’t solve the puzzle in the time limit you lose. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes high stakes, excitement, and smooth appealing graphics. Like I said before no ads. I would defiantly recommend this.

I’ve played a lot of block games, where the blocks are so hard to move and they don’t exit the blockade with ease, and it makes you very frustrated when you’re trying to play. This game moves and flows so freely, it’s a pleasure to play! I’m so glad to have been introduced’

The game is fun and addicting, but it’s frustrating with the time limits being a bit aggressive. In order for you to beat certain levels, you need to use some of the “tools”, but you only get so many of those unless you pay for more. There should be more options to get them for free either through easier challenges, daily rewards, or watching ads.

It’s fun until it’s too hard - and I don’t know what the extra buttons on the bottom do. I assume they help you when you are stuck, but I clicked on the “timer” one assuming that it adds time and it didn’t. To “retry” without losing lives takes too many coins! If I get the hang of it, I’ll come back and write another review if warranted.

I saw this game as an ad and I just felt like it was this fun to play and now I found the puzzles running out of place. I’m just getting started, but I feel like it’s a game that I could probably play over and over again without getting bored, thanks so much for suggesting ads!

I love this game. It’s so much better than any of those other games that have a lot of adds every Minute. This game makes me feel brand new! If you like to use your brain 🧠 a lot but not TOO much at a time this is the game for you. I don’t need to think 🤔 in this game because my brain takes over, and it’s kind of just relaxing + I like the music 🎶

This is a great game. Pretty close to as advertised - meaning while levels look different the fundamental task is the same. Truly no ads. You can earn bonuses which actually help. And you don’t get to level 50 or 60 and are forced to either use said bonus or pay! Great game!

I would gladly pay to stop the timers. I love this game but sometimes when I’m tired it takes me longer to figure out or if I get interrupted and then you want me to buy more time. I would rather buy to stop the timer completely. Make it an option.m

I was playing the game and just finished a level, but it froze. No game has showed up, it’s just a blank page and I can’t play anymore levels. I thought maybe it needed an update and it did but that still didn’t help. I was having a lot of fun with this game too :(

Im being generous by giving 2 stars and only because mind blowingly there are zero ads without having to pay to have them removed. That being said, it makes sense why there’s probably no ads as in order to beat the levels you have to pay for practically every single one. I know this game is rolling in dough with how much people are most likely paying to play this. You’re not given anywhere near enough time to both think and clear the blocks at the same time especially with multiple challenges introduced in one level. As a result you have to replay the level multiple times but by then you’ve run out of lives and can’t proceed. You then have to wait until your lives refill. Which each one takes up to 30 minutes! None of the tools really help you so they’re practically pointless and when you do use them they cost so many coins you have to pay to replenish them on your own. You’re not winning enough coins throughout each level to earn anywhere near enough to use instead of paying. You get a daily reward supposedly but it’s never for any of the tools or more time only cheap coins which feels scammy as well. Your best bet is to just avoid this game. It’s not worth the aggravation.

This game can be fun, but the cash grabbing really eliminates that. Id love to be able to watch ads for extended time. As someone with very bad adhd, i struggle with timed test, challenges and all things really. So if there isn’t a way to extended time without paying for it, it doesn’t motivate me to recommend this game to people, as it is extremely difficult and almost feels like no effort was put into testing the game, only having 5 lives and 2 minutes to complete a puzzle that may take 3-5 for some people is inconsiderate of the players. This game needs more thought and effort from the developers. Seeing as it doesn’t have a large fanbase of players I hope this game can be improved bc the concept and art is great!

It’s a fun game and can be addictive but some of the later levels feel almost impossible if you don’t spend for extra time or use all of your boosts. It’s hard to get a real streak going when there are so many hard/super hard levels like every 3rd one. It feels like it’s a complete money grab at that point if you want to progress. And if you do have enough coins for the extra time and it’s not enough the second boost costs 1000 coins more than the first one. It’s ridiculous. It could be fun but there should be more time given from the start. Or make a version that’s not timed for those who just want to relax.

I have really been enjoying this until recently when I was put in the arena and nearly every game is Hard or Super Hard, making it impossible to complete and continue playing. I was playing this to relax, and I do like a challenge, but when nearly every screen is impassable without one of the things that knocks out blocks or freezes your time, you get to a point where you have to have those in order to keep playing, meaning you have to pay money, only to find that the next screen is also a Super Hard level. It’s becoming not even fun anymore.

The colors are bright and catchy and it seems like the puzzles are doable but then at about level 170 they start giving you impossible ones that you cannot solve unless you spend money to buy the booster packages. I refuse to spend money on games and would rather watch an ad or two to earn a booster than to spend my paycheck on puzzles. The Hard and Extra Hard levels have impossible short timers for the amount of blocks that need to be moved. The game could be enjoyable if they would appropriately set the timers to realistic challenges. It’s super frustrating. Which is why my time here is done and it’s getting deleted. Sad, because the theme is cute and it could’ve been a good game.

Well I was quite looking forward to playing this game and was having fun in the beginning until…I had to take a break to do something else!! Oops my bad I should’ve read through the whole thing I didn’t know I was on a timer!?!? Or that I’d probably be forced to buy more time?! For me personally games are something I do like everyone else, to exercise my brain. But also to relax and enjoy!! For me feeling like I’m under the gun so to speak is not my idea of fun, enjoyment or relaxation!! So I deleted “Block Out” pretty quickly to make room for another game that’s more to my liking! I’m a bit disappointed because the main premise of the game and the visuals I really did like! Just not being pressured by the Clock or to buy more coins to continue playing!! So I bid farewell to “Block Out” to let people that enjoy timers and having to get more coins to buy more time to just continue to play it!! Just not my cup of tea!!

This game is absolutely amazing. I just don’t understand why would they put so many blocks in one puzzle with only little time knowing the blocks have to be rearranged and on top of that they only giving you 30 coins for the small puzzles and only 60 coins for the hard puzzles. And another thing is why am I paying 900 coins only for 30 more seconds and the game is only going to give me 30-60 coins. It would be nice if this game could fix those little issues. More coins for each puzzle, more boosts, and time if the blocks need to be adjusted.

I got up to level 62 before it got too hard to be able to clear the level. I have tried multi times until I ran out of lives. Then I was forced to delay 30 minutes to get another life. I did that twice and keep losing before clearing the level. Not fun anymore. I do not pay to play these games. I feel forced to pay to keep playing. I am done. No money for you. If you offered $2 or $5 to continue playing I might think about it. But you want me to pour money into a hole to keep playing. Not going to happen. Deleting and will find another game to play. There are thousands of other games to play.

Game doesn’t explain any of the helpers. Didn’t even know there were any. Goes straight to difficult levels without sufficient time to learn each new thing they throw at you. Kept losing a level, which is why I deleted the app, because I didn’t understand what I was supposed to do. Oh, and it took me to the “store” and every time I went back to the main screen and hit the button to play the next level it sent me back to the store over and over and over again. I don’t know how this game got such high railings. It was frustrating, irritating and definitely not relaxing at all.

This game is fine and a great way too spend time when waiting for stuff, but to be honest there are some things I would change, for example there are way too many pop ups not adds pop up’s that make you go into a contest you probably don’t even wanna be in and the super hard levels only get like 1 minute which isn’t enough and it’s AI generated art just take sometime to make the art yourself instead of killing polar bears but anyway yea this game is fine.

Block Out starts off fun and relaxing until level 47 when the timer suddenly expects you to have the reaction speed of a cocaine-fueled octopus. You’ll finally beat a level after 3 business days and be like “OMG YES FINALLY” just for the game to immediately hit you with a level designed by Satan himself. The difficulty spike feels like the game looked at my wallet and said “that’s cute.” It’s less a puzzle game and more a hostage negotiation with a countdown clock while my phone gets one bad move away from being yeeted across the room.

I never write reviews but this needed it. So the pros is that the game has great coin collections, colors and cool ways to get rid of the pieces. Also NO ads which is great! The MAJOR con is that it’s the same 20levels no matter what. They will say you’ve done 500 levels but that means you just beat the same 20 levels 40 times. They NEED more levels. It’s not a challenge at ALL beating the same levels. It needs a MAjor upgrade on NEW levels. Like there should at least be 100 different levels so not beating the same ones over and over again

This game used to be so much fun and so relaxing I would play for hours. The most fun for me was trying to beat out the other players for top spot. But now it’s become so difficult without enough time to finish a level without tools that are hard to come by even after trying several times to get through it I just quit. Pretty much play only 30 minutes or so a day now because I get so frustrated I give up. I really miss what it used to be. So unhappy.

This game can be really relaxing and fun at times. But some levels are so complicated that the fun ceases. I refuse to spend money for coins to buy extra time to keep working on these harder puzzles. So I get five chances to figure out a puzzle and then have to shut the game. There’s no option to go back and play other levels for awhile. If you’re stuck on a level, it’s game over… or spend actual money. Deleting this app and finding some other puzzle game.

I'm stuck on a level and no matter what I do I can't get beyond this level. I'm going to deleted the app and play somewhere else since your app is failing me to play. You might want to check it out. I'll bet no one else has had this problem but I have lost the level at least 20 times. I find it hard to believe since I have made it this far with no problems but now I have a huge problem and I'll bet you'll tell me there is nothing wrong with your app. Wish you would fix it but I know you won't!

Barely any time to finish levels. Can’t take more than 5 seconds during a level to look at it and think. By the time you figure out the puzzle you have seconds left to remove the excess blocks. This game has taken all of happiness from my day. There is not physically enough time to slide all the block into the right places on some levels. Whoever made this game needs to strongly consider a career change because they have managed to make something so simple and fun one of the most aggravating and frustrating things.

I thought there wasn’t a timer. It is no fun for older lady to work with a timer. Plus some blocks are placed to require using a tool to move big blocks, that means you are specifically requiring a buy to move the block to win No fun anymore when forced to buy a tool to win a game No option to skip a level as well I will need to remove your game bc I don’t want to buy a tool to remove a block. I am only at a very low level

I love the graphics. I love the vibes. I wish there was a no timer option limit option because I like the challenge but not the anxiety surrounding a minute and 30 seconds of a super challenging puzzle. And with all of the things you guys integrate— the block cages and the blocks coming out from a door once one area is solved—it’s already super challenging. Please think about this in future updates because I cannot afford the buying of assists. Lol

I love the game. It goes from simple then gradually gets harder which is nice for beginners. Two things I don’t like are: 1. No sound when blocks are being destroyed. I love sounds. 2. Can’t change player name. It always tells me I don’t have internet connection which is not true. I feel these are things that should’ve been taken care of before launching app. Please fix these issues. Thank you.

I played the game, and I totally agree that it’s well designed. The only thing I don’t like – and it is a dealbreaker for me – is that there is a timer. I played through game #20, and won them all, but I just don’t like the way I feel when there is a timer putting pressure on me. If the developers think people like timers, maybe they could make it an option. I play games to relax, and the timer totally wiped that out for me. I’m deleting the game.

This game is challenging and fun to play. However, it’s on a timer that you can shut off. I want to play a game like this for relaxation and to wind down, I certainly don’t want to race a clock that runs out too quickly with no means of getting back into it to finish the game without losing a life. Thanks for letting me give it a try, but I deleted the game and will look for a block game that doesn’t have a timer.

The game concept is great but almost every level’s timer is too short to be able to complete the puzzle in one go. You either have to buy 30 more seconds at 900 coins at a time or lose a life and start over. I’m looking to have a brain challenge but not with this game. I’ll be deleting this one and going with a similar puzzle game without a timer.

This game is really well made and really addicting and challenging, but it requires spending a lot once you get past a certain level. I do not mind paying for a booster or extra time occasionally on games, but this is absolutely ridiculous. You sometimes need two or three boosters to get past the level, and the game is very stingy in terms of earning rewards.

If you’re looking for a fun and chill game this is NOT the game for that. Every level has a timer and 9/10 times the timer is barely long enough to complete the level so you’re stressing out to try solve the level so you don’t lose your whopping 5 lives immediately. Hard to enjoy the game and participate in the events because it’s extremely hard to even pass the normal levels most of the time.

Some levels are ridiculous and gives you less time to solve than other puzzles so it forces you to pay for added coins/features in order to move on. I’ve spent over $30 and the price point for certain features is not worth it. Do not bother downloading this game. Unless they offer more value for the money you spend or leave the times as other puzzles and just harder difficulty, it is not worth it!

The puzzles in upper levels should be difficult but not impossible to complete without extra tools and time. The continue for 900 coins button is nasty placed exactly where the try again button is also placed…I’ve tapped it by accident twice and lost all my coins for nothing. More frustrating than fun after the first few hundred levels.

Truly challenging and fun game (once you’re over level 100), but it desperately needs a restart button. Having to lose a streak just because a trap door accidentally opened and you can’t just move that around in 2 seconds it’s insane. Especially because the coin earnings definitely under pace the cost of 30 additional seconds.

Wasn’t like the ads. Was able to get through to level 72 but not given enough time and cannot actually advance without boosters. Meaning you have to purchase to play. Hate games that are money hogs. Now have to find a new actual game that matches the ads and is fun without me having to spend my hard earned money to play.

Any review that says there are no ads is a lie. A lot of the levels are impossible in the short amount of time without using a power up, which cost a lot of in game coins compared to how much you win per level. Would be much better without the timer/longer time/with a hint function.

I enjoy the game itself but the pay to play model is ridiculous. I refuse to spend anymore money on a mobile app. Some of the higher games are designed to force you to buy more time. If I have to, I will just delete the app. I’m tired of either spending money or playing a game and then waiting 30 minutes for more time.

I love this game but the timer makes it extremely frustrating. I can’t think through the puzzle if I know I’m running out of time, and most of the “hard” levels are only hard because there isn’t enough time to think through them. I wish you could turn the timer function off. It’s great that there are no ads though!

Game is well made in terms of behavior and appearance, but it doesn’t have a lot of depth. As others have said, it just repeats levels with less and less time to complete. My biggest gripe, is the “daily reward” is ALWAYS coins. Just to prove a point, on a supposedly randomized board, I selected the same box every day for 2 weeks and never got “tools,” only ever coins.

This game is super fun and addictive but there are times that you cannot pass without spending actual money. Which I’ve never ever done until I got this game. The timer should be optional or there should be a side quest you can do to earn more rockets, space ships, lives and clocks. Otherwise we just click off the game. I’m very close to deleting it because I don’t want to spend anymore money but I’m holding out in hopes that you guys actually read these reviews and will add some other features. Maybe a “free mode” option to just play with no timer. Or like a said a side game that allows us other ways to get extra rockets, space ships, clocks, and lives.

This game is so much fun, and then level 59. The timer is way too short. I get a quarter half way through and the timer kills me. So I blow all the free powerups and still can’t beat it. Uninstalling is the only option. 59 levels and the game is already over. Such a disappointment when having such a great concept.

I’m 82 years old and absolutely love the game, my neighbour did as well But unless you’re willing to pay money, it’s set up for people with young fast hands that are sturdy! It’s such a shame that well for my age my speed is very good, if not good enough for this game It would be nice if people took into consideration that not everybody is 20 years old anymore 😢

Being on a timer takes all the relaxation out of this. If they introduce a zen mode, I’m in for life. But until then, I’ll be mostly on Toon Blast.

Built to get you to spend money. There are some levels that you can’t pass unless you extend the time, and you run out of in gas money fast enough that you would have to spend real money to keep going.

Just downloaded this game, so far enjoying it but it says no ads. Seems it has one after I complete every level. Please take the ads away! This is one of the reasons I picked this game. Was supposed to be ad free!

I like the game, mostly. The ads are not overwhelming, so kudos to the developer. Most levels give you enough time (almost too much), but the super hard levels are nearly impossible without adding time with using coins. If it were more balanced and fair with the timer, I would keep the game. But as is, another deleted game.

Love the game. Hate the timers sometimes. As it doesn’t give you enough time sometimes. But what’s frustrating is I’ve noticed some of my coins that an earn disappear when I haven’t use them. Like I’ll have 500. Then log in again to play after I have zero lives and it will be 100 like where is the coins going when I’m not using them ??

A good challenge for the brain, but while I’m able to beat the timer so far, it makes you anxious. Take the timer out or allow more time and this game will be perfect.

I downloaded this game as im really into puzzle games that challenge my pattern recognition, this game dies that, but 20 minutes into playing it crashed my 4 month old iphone 17, this us a shame as ill be deleting the app to avoid any further problems

Fun game! But the timer & inability to skip levels is sooo annoying. If you lose all your “lives” you have to wait 15+mins to play… annoying when that’s my whole work break LOL. 0/10 for me but if you like a challenge and have quick fingers give it a go.

Advertised as a game with no timer. It absolutely has a timer. Disappointed.

It’s a fun game, BUT! 1. The ad I tapped to download the game from said NO TIMERS. There’s timers, alright! FALSE ADVERTISING! 2. You need to pay to play. They give you impossible time frames, like one minute for a ‘Super Hard’ board that needs like a minute & twenty seconds. Like I said, it’s a fun game, BUT they make sure you need to pay to play. If it weren’t for those two issues, I’d easily have given them a 5* review.

It caused stress because time is not enough. It would be relaxing if there was no time limit. Or at least double the time as now each level has 90 seconds only. Super hard.

It is a shame that a good game that requires some thought can’t allow an extra 30 seconds. Time restrictions result in frustration and ultimately me cancelling the app. I know nothing is free, but at least let 4 or 5 normal levels go through before a “hard” level shows up. Fun game but it’s a money grab once you get tons certain points it’s nearly impossibly… daily prices let’s you pick a box but not matter which on you pick you always get the coin box… I test this by picking the same corner box a few days in a row.. always coins.. then a switching to the opposite corner or the middle. Always coins. Never the power ups.

What starts out as a really great game quickly devolves into a pay to play scheme. Higher levels are impossible to beat unless you buy boosts or coins to keep going after the time runs out to beat a level. The prices for what you actually get are ridiculous. There are other, similar games out there that don’t try to rip you off. Stick to them and avoid this one unless you have lots of money you don’t know what to do with.

Some of these games you can’t win unless you have a bomb or rocket or extra time.

When you lose you have to buy another chance for 900 coins even though I have 30 minutes of unlimited hearts. So what are the hearts for if they only want you to spend loads of coins making you waste more money.

Love the game but the ads are unreal and the length of the ads before you can skip. I am not playing ads to gain extra stuff they come on after pretty much every round you beat and they take forever and take away from the game play. Probably going to delete!

Wonderful game and fun, it actually has had no ads in 74 [229] levels. However, ads would have made it funner as winning starts becoming impossible without buying timers from level 74 onwards. I would have preferred supporting the game through ads instead of it becoming pay to win.. Edit: 74 was doable after countless trying but the game does very much push one towards paying to win Update: reached level 229 through many losses and the game gets more and more unbearable without paying, would get 5 stars if not for the attempt to make me buy things. Seems it’s time to move on.

I’ve been enjoying this game but find that because there’s no option to earn lives or have hints plus the timers aren’t long enough on the hard levels, you’re literally forced to purchase. It’s very disappointing.

I get making a game challenging but clearly making it impossible without pay to win elements is disgusting honestly. Ripping people off is a bad way to make money. Games like these are terrible wastes of time
