"The alphabet in boxes" is an exciting learning game with a unique and truly effective method of learning reading. Your kid will catch living letters and puts them together into words. There is also a construction kit of several parts, a puzzle which can be assembled in to a picture that depicts the given word.

Very nice appBuy the game for 4.99, but the audio and graphics are nice, as well as the app. The letters of the word runs across the screen and your child has to slide the letter in the right spot. A few letters of the word would be said and once a good portion of the letters for the word is filled in the boxes it’ll pronounce a few letters at a time until all letters are found then it’ll spell the word bit by bit then say the entire word so your child really learns the word. I think this would definitely be a great app for an older child (mines is 2) like 3/4 and older. Really nice app though..Version: 3.0.2
Awesome learning tool!My experience with downloading learning apps for my granddaughter is frustrating. Either they crash frequently, too many adds popping up while she is trying to play, or they are deceiving and you find out that she can only do a certain example and can’t go any further without purchasing the whole app. Very disappointing for a child. Mind you they are all NOT like that, but I’ve come across many. This app is different. This app has learning & playing at the same time. That always works. This app has done it exceptionally well. The words, the colors & the crazy characters makes it so much fun for my granddaughter. I had the trial version and loved it, so I just purchased the full version. If anyone is skeptical about purchasing the full app, just try the trial for a day. You won’t be disappointed! Keep up the great work!.Version: 1.0.3
Fantastic educational game for toddlersMy 2.5 year old daughter pretty much downloaded the his game on her own through this company’s drawing game. I just approved it he free download. She took to it immediately, I didn’t show her how to play any of it. She loves it so much and was clearly learning from it so I gave in to paying the $4 or $5 for a he entire game. We limit her screen time but this is her favorite game and she plays a few puzzles when she’s allowed to play. She had told us and it is obvious that she has learned letters and is at least one step closer to reading as a result of playing this game..Version: 1.0.2
Multipurpose and FunThe app has a good thing going. Spell a word by dragging the "character letter" into the correct place, and out pops part of a picture to illustrate the word. Put the parts together like a puzzle. Recommendations... 1. Add a replay button. My daughter wants to do "cat" over and over. Home is an option, but she can't read. Maybe add a pic above the boxes on the train. 2. I would like for her to be able to rebuild the puzzle without having to re-spell the word. I love the idea that you can also learn shapes and practically how to draw!.Version: 1.0.3
Phonetic soundMy son is 18 months and took the app greatly definitely love how he has to capture and move the letter to the boxes. The only issue I have is that the even in the phonetic section is that the phonetic sound is not given once the capture the letter. I love how it is broken up in syllables but I’d really love it is the letter was said and the the sound. It doesn’t need to be reoccurring but it would greatly be appreciated. Free version better, paid version needs work.We had free version and my daughter loved it. Finally broke down and bought it for her. Really love having the whole alphabet but now it has a glitch where it will take her back to the train in the middle of working on a word or it will not spell out word when it is complete. And the paid version has way too many advanced words. It would be great if it had easy-medium-hard options to choose from. My 20 month old granddaughter asks for this gameMy granddaughter calls this the letter game and she loves it! I took one star off because your app has promotions for your other games in the app. My granddaughter often wants to push the pictures for the other apps. Love the phonics!I love the fact that this app sounds out letters and breaks them up into the phonics. My third grader has stopped doing spelling tests in school because they don't know the phonics behind words and are working on learning phonics as a base to learn to spell correctly.
