A mobile port made for people that love the originalI have the base card game with all the expansions and absolutely love it. Ironically, I actually played the iOS version before owning my own copies (but not before playing the original game) and I absolutely love both. I’m looking forward to the new expansions as they release. This is a near perfect version of the game that I absolutely love picking up and playing a few rounds between short breaks at work or before bed to calm down some. My only complaint with the game here is that it tracks what birds you’ve collected and used in the game which I absolutely love. But when you’ve played as much of the game as I have, it’s hard to remember what you’ve played before and what you haven’t. I wish there was a visual display on cards you haven’t played before like a little ribbon in the upper right corner or something denoting when a card is ‘new to you’. It’s a little thing but actually collecting the cards and filling out my bird list is the main reason why I’d rather just play this version if I’m home by myself instead of busting out my tabletop versions or a version on Tabletop Simulator ..Alexchino55Version: 1.5.727

Great game with some annoying flawsI have the game plus the European pack (EE). This is a fantastic game, with lots of strategy, a fair amount of luck, yet pretty easy to learn how to play. The board game requires a lot of juggling and double-checking that the online version takes care of for you. All in all it’s well worth the price and a lot of fun to play. The current version of the game crashes (on Apple iPad Air 3rd, OSv 17.2) nearly once per solo game, typically as my turn is due to start, prior to the splash screen. It restarts and carries on okay, but it’s still annoying. Here are a few things it’s missing: - the online version has a five-minute timer per player. I wish there were a speedier option. - the online version plays the EE only and plays with nectar, which changes the game strategy a lot. There don’t appear to be any settings to change that. - on the other hand, the solo option with the EE doesn’t have the option to play with nectar - there are no gameplay stats: I’d like to see games played, finishes against the various types of opponents, best total score, best score on each of the categories (birds, tucked cards, eggs) - while there are numerous achievements, they don’t appear to play any role. It would be cool for X number of achievements to earn a special bird card that would be added to the game. - for both the board game and the application game, I’d like to have the option to give up an initial food/card (only getting a combo of four instead of five) in exchange for a redeal on the five birds I can choose from. - if I start a solo game and quit, when I press play, the game is available to select. FRUSTRATED!!!Let me be clear, I LOVE Wingspan and the new Oceania expansion looks wonderful! I just wish it would work. I haven’t been able to complete a game in 3 days because the app keeps crashing and takes so very long to reload, just to crash again! I don’t know why this is happening. I am on my 5th generation iPad with over 35 GB of space left and I have cleared my website cache and restarted my iPad so many times, I know that is not the problem! I really did not want to delete and reload the app because I would lose all of my previous achievements I earned, but if these bugs cannot be worked out, that is my next step. I always play the computer because I have no one to play in person and I love the convenience of not having to set up the board game, which I do have. Overall great, just minor “issues”Overall, this app is fantastic and well worth the money. I recommend it to anyone even mildly interested. Things I love include adorable animations of the game’s already beautiful art, lovely theme music (which I actually listen to outside of playing the game), fun facts for each bird, and bird’s calls/songs once it has been played. It’s a great way to learn the board game’s fairly complex mechanics on one’s own time, too. It also allows cross-platform play, which can be a rare gem! I withhold the fifth star because the AI turns load very slowly, and the AI hard mode is not very hard. I like to play with the maximum number of opponents but settled on just two because waiting for them to take their turns gets to be long otherwise. Adding more players also seemed to give me higher scores, because the AI regularly play the cards that share with the group, which I imagine most real people playing at a “hard” level would not routinely incorporate into their plans. Great gameplay. 1 important thing missing**** edit. This is now a year or more later and there is still no feature to add friends?! So annoying to have to ask people what their name is and type it in every time :/ I apologize if maybe I just don’t see this feature…. But I wish their was a way to 1. Friend request people and have it easily ready to ends invite them to games instead of having to remember and type the name every time. 2. I wish there was a “ play again” or “ rematch” button to just go right into a new game with my group of friends that I just played with ( again , to not have to go through starting a new game and remember their names and typing them in and making sure the capital letters are the same. Good game!I love this game and was psyched to hear that an iOS version was coming out. I bought it to play on my iPad but apparently I need iOS 13 to run this on my iPad and my iPad runs iOS 12.5. I downloaded it to my iPhone and have a few suggestions and criticisms. The font for the game I know is staying true to the game, but it is very faint and hard to read on an iPhone. I would suggest increase font size slightly or print it in bold. Black text would be best instead of the brown text. You can’t zoom in in this app, so the games that I played I kept having to take it screenshot, go look at the screenshot where I could zoom in on the image to find out what I needed then go back to the game. It was quite frustrating. I ended up finding the game available for the Switch and bought it. Since I can’t play this on my iPad which was my original intention, I probably won’t play the iOS version again. It was too frustrating trying to read it on my iPhone and having to take screenshots. Beautifully adaption of an amazing game!As an avid player of the physical version of Wingspan I can honestly say I didn’t fully experience or appreciate this game until I played this version. The soundtrack is amazing and the added unique voices for the birds shows genuine commitment on the part of the development team to manifesting the spirit of the game in the app design. It wasn’t until I had played a couple games that I realized each bird you click on makes the sound of that actual bird! The music and sound effects added to the beautiful visuals of the habitats and the bird movements make this such an immersive experience! The game play is very smooth with only a few hiccups here and there and the game options are great, especially being able to play with friends. Overall an excellent adaption of an already amazing game! Enjoyable until it crashes then infuriatingIt was fine for the first few weeks, but now it crashes daily and I lose everything. I recently added the European bird pack (wondering if that has anything to do with it), but I will not spend the money on the Oceana as long as this is an issue. I have had it happen while playing AI. I wish unfinished games could be saved since they can take a while to play. If the game crashed and the progress was saved, it would not be so infuriating. If it keeps happening, I will quit playing and consider all the money I have spend so far as just going down the drain. It will be a shame, because this game is a nice product that I would be perfectly willing to pay for it it worked properly and was reliable. Crashes RegularlyI love this game, and the app does a tolerable job of executing the game rules and with nice art. Unfortunately, the game regularly crashes - to the point that it is almost unplayable. This app has been available for quite some time, so it is unacceptable to have such jarring technical issues at this point. How this app gets such consistently high reviews is a mystery. I really wish that more time were spent on technical excellence and less on cutesy stuff. Since I am pointing out faults in development management decisions, there are several more issues in that regard. For instance, the game is terribly slow. In addition, turning off animations doesn’t turn off all animations; the highlighted boxes continue to oscillate, the scoring insists on SLOWLY moving the scores for each player, and so forth. Furthermore, there is no way to save a game, so if you put it aside and it crashes, there is no way to recover the game. Tranquil and Fun GameMy gamer friend said he was bummed that the end game was always about “laying eggs”, which is true sometimes, but not always. I’ve been beat by the AI with amazing tuck engines. If none of that makes sense, it will and it will be fun. This would be lovely to play in person but it has advantages over the physical. First the music, bird sounds, visuals (animations) and the backgrounds. All of this adds to the experience. Physical board games take up shelf real estate, require someone to come over (something that’s been hard of late) and lots of pieces to set up. I love a good physical board game but sometimes digital is amazing. This may also be the perfect game for the times. Is it just me or has everyone in the city gone crazy? Angry, driving reckless and distracted. Road rage at an all time high. This game is such has such a great soothing factor that I have to point that out. You forget when you don’t get out in nature what things like bird sounds do for you spirit. I have not tried the multiplayer. I often don’t but if I do I’ll come back and update my review to cover that. Oh, also, in terms of speed of gameplay, this is pretty zippy when playing solo. I always feel like it’s over just a hair too soon, but that has usually been because I’m laboring with an inefficient “engine” (tuck, food cache, card draw…the many mechanics that intertwine to make an “engine” if you will). Leaning into that concept is how you get better and better. Also, really start to pay attention to how you get beat by the AI and look at their boards. Beautiful gameplayI have been a big fan of the Wingspan board game for a while and purchased the app version to enjoy with my partner while away from home. The game play is great and really maintains the charm and beauty of the original game. The music is lovely and the sound effects are peaceful and enjoyable. Oftentimes when switching a board game to a digital medium you have a hard time making the game navigable on a screen. A board game gives you lots of visual access to information that can either be lost on a screen, or make the screen too busy to understand. The developers of the digital game have done a great job toeing the line between providing visual information and making the game navigable. Coding errorsI enjoy playing the game on my iPad. I have noticed what must be coding errors and know of no means other than this review to report them. 1. In several games when the goal for the round is simply the number of birds in a habitat, I notice that the quantity of an opponent’s birds decreases from one turn to another. I don’t understand how it’s possible for this to happen. It could if it was the number birds with egg, but not when goal is simply the number of birds. 2. When scoring a round it’s possible to see progress toward future goals for all players. However it can be misleading because one opponent often has zero birds toward a future goal but at the end of the first turn, might have way more birds than is possible to gain in one turn..Badger317Version: 1.3.553

Now crashes constantlyI am totally hooked on this game — I play way too much. I love the board game as well but my spouse and kids don’t want to play nearly as much as I do. This app gives me the full original Wingspan experience and now my family is afraid to play me, so that is a disincentive for them too! My big problem is that it’s started quitting on me. All. The. Time. I’m playing on an iPad that’s new this year and has lots of capacity. Beautiful game, but needs some bug fixesThis is a beautifully designed game, with not annoying music, cool facts, and non-stressful strategy. Rare combo, I think. The reason for my low rating though is the bug fixes that haven’t been addressed. I play this game a lot and really wish they’d work on these. There are certain cards (between turns, egg laying cards for instance) that give advantages, but they won’t always work like they should and this makes the computer seem like it’s cheating you. It can really mess up your strategy when you were counting on it. Of course if you play the physical game this won’t happen, you might forget for being human, but the online game should be adjusted. Also, sometimes the game will crash halfway through and there’s no getting back to it. It will close and you reopen the app like nothing happened. Please FixI’m actually pretty angry right now. In a way, I’m embarrassed about that, but my frustration demonstrates what a fantastic game this really is. I would equate the challenge of this game to chess. It takes a moderate amount of time and intellect to learn to play, and yet dimensions of the game unfold as you delve deeper. Strategies must be developed to best utilize cards, and first consequences of your moves will change the course of the game. The only real issue with gameplay has been the wait time in between player turns. Games are played with other human players either asynchronously with 72-hour turns or in real time with 3-minute turns. (This is a major improvement from the old 5-minute turns, which demanded players remain vigilant for a great deal of time.) As other players have suggested, it may be helpful to set your next move, in case of signal difficulties or unforeseen inattention. My complaint that has prompted this review is as follows: The 3-minute timer, though a big improvement, poses a problem near the end of the game. The timer ensures players don’t wait too long to take their turn. The complexity of the game is brilliant but turns in the final round actually take more time to complete. Each card in the habitat must be activated. Some of the actions are complicated, especially the new Asia cards. It would be helpful to extend the turns, if only to complete the activations. A player’s initial turn can easily happen within three minutes, but the activations, especially those that consist of drawing and discarding birds during the critical last round, can not be understated. Great game but flaky programming and poor tech supportWingspan itself is a great strategy game, but this version has many functionality problems. Sometimes the number of turns remaining does not display properly and even increases between turns. Sometimes the game abruptly ends even though the final round hasn’t yet happened. It often crashes at the final score screen right when you click on the button to save or discard the match. These errors were not present in earlier versions of the game, but have become persistent annoying bugs that seem to be getting worse. ObsessedI average about 7 games a day as a nursing mother. It's a nice way to pass the time. The graphics (and even the board game version) are so aesthetically pleasing. It wasn't long after that I decided to buy the European expansion and aim to reach every achievement award. Some are VERY challenging. My only regret in the app game is allowing for a little grace. Say I grabbed the wrong food from the supply and it greatly affects my next few terms. Or if I accidentally play a bird in the wrong habitat; that might ruin the entire rest of my game. In a real game, maybe your friends would be forgiving and allow you to make the change. I know in the app version of Scyth you can go back a turn (or unlimited turns) to correct minor mistakes like that. You don't get that back-track option in Wingspan. It requires a lot of focus and double checking before you decide to move forward, because there is no going back once it's done. I understand not being able to go back in a live/online game. 1 player works great, online not so muchThis game is awesome and beautifully made. Playing against automatic or AI is really sweet. Online is kind of a mess. The matching is based on “karma” which is great in theory. You gain a point for finishing a match and lose 5 if you quit early. Unfortunately you will ALWAYS lose the 5 if your game glitches out, but frequently don’t get credit for a finish. You also get no credit if an opponent quits, even right at the end. So for example, my karma got knocked down into the low 30’s almost right away. Since I have played 50 games and only gained 2 karma. I’ve finished 5-6 against players, and all of the rest someone else quit first. If that happens, karma should be granted to those who are still in. Fix this and it’s 5 stars. My favorite board game on the iPad but…This has been my go to board game on the iPad for years, but now it is unplayable. It crashes constantly. I can’t even get through a turn now. It started after an update a few weeks ago. And since the most recent update it has just gotten worse. Started just being laggy then it kicked me out a few days ago. Then it started kicking me out about once per game, then twice. The game I am in now is on the last turn and I can’t finish the turn before being kicked out. Wonderful app!Fantastic visual and background music. A great game to play on my 12” iPad. I’ve spent countless hours on it. Such a modern classic! Great app as it is now, personally there are a few things that can use some improvement. 1. I often play with the automa and hard AI. Doing this is to save time, compared to playing with human players. However, the calculating speed of these AI is very slow. It can take 20-30 minutes to finish a game in a 4-5 player game. Can you shorten the calculation speed? They are computers. 2. As popular as this game is right now. I think this game should perfect itself even more utilizing its strength as an app! First of all, there should be a play log available of each finished game for players to improve their gameplay. Secondly, there should be a special experimental mode where players can choose and arrange to get the cards they want in order to test out their strategies. Try before you buy the boxed setI feel this is the best way to learn the game. It cost 1/4 as much as the boxed version and gives you a full experience. The tutorials are worth the price of admission. While I like more warlike themes in general, I love how women like this game and how difficult it is to really maximize your situation. This is less expensive than a fast food “meal” and will keep your brain occupied for days. If you are thinking about it you will not be dissatisfied. Plus learning about the birds is so useful. Great adaptation of the board gameThis helped me understand the mechanics in the real life board game, a deck-builder with tons of depth. Wonderful job translating to iOS. There is a ton of complexity but the presentation mostly helps bubble up what you’re supposed to be doing next and establishes the rhythm. After a few play-thrus, when you finally get a good bird engine going and figure out which goals to hit, you can pump out resources in really nicely. That said, the NPCs and separate Automata AI’s can be ruthlessly efficient as you ramp up difficulty, making for a good challenge. Love the game; frustrated with a few thingsThe game is great. Playing experience is mostly smooth. Problems: 1. Coding errors. Several times I’ve played, I’ve been asked to choose a food based on someone else’s play. I do, but then there’s no option to continue (no arrow to press). I have to exit and lose the game. Another great way to play the game!I have on switch, steam, and the physical board game and the iOS version is definitely a great layout. I wanted a way to play on a long car ride (didn’t have the switch with me and honestly not a fan of it on there). On iPhone, I can understand the complaint of small lettering, but not a problem for me personally. I love the achievements and little illustrations that go with them for things like Hope they get some expansions soon! One thing I think they could add is a leaderboard for the weekly online competition so you can see how your friends do. Super buggy - unfortunateI love the board game and was thrilled to find the app. But it takes all the fun out of playing because the app is so buggy. I’ve had three games with a friend ruined in the past week - two that got stuck on an AI player that wouldn’t play, and just now one where my very last move won’t go through, the app crashes every time. Even in games where I don’t get stuck indefinitely and get to finish, the game constantly crashes. Over and over. ConflictedI’m conflicted, and thus rating three stars because while the game is beautiful, the illustrations on the cards, the habitats, even the menus, I feel like the tutorial is a bit rushed for the density of gameplay. I believe that the games I’ve lost thus far (4 out of 4 played in addition to the tutorial game) were lost partly to just rng luck which happens in any good card or board game, but I think on the other side it was because I didn’t have a handle on the rules because the tutorial walked me to the door and then left. Very well doneEverything works perfectly, all mechanics of the game function as they should. Fully cross platform play is great. I’ve even played myself on my phone and game console. My toughest opponent yet! Luckily, I won. Unfortunately, I lost. This is probably my favorite board game AND now my favorite board game turned digital because it’s so well done. The music is beautiful and relaxing. I love the narrator talking about each bird you play. However, almost once a game, if not more often, the app crashes. Excellent game in original versionMy family is made of huge fans, with one caveat. It’s a great game overall, fun, challenging and educational. Unfortunately the designers got too fancy with the Oceania expansion, and instead of just adding fair birds and bonus cards, they changed gameplay entirely. The nectar thing and some of the ridiculous bird powers is just massive inflation that removes strategy, makes most original birds obsolete, and is not sufficiently balanced by reducing the egg count. Scores go from 90s being a very good score to painfully middle of the road. It’s like baseball in the Steroids era. Not sure why the designers thought a successful game needed a radical design. Great game but flawedI love Wingspan and own both PC and mobile. Unfortunately the inability to view cards adequately when your hand gets full, makes some matches unplayable. Additionally there are a number of power trigger bugs (e.g., discard and egg to draw cards) that force you to leave a game and reconnect. This ruins the online automa challenge. You can buy the game on PC for a fraction of the cost of this app with a google search for discounts, and that’s what I recommend any reader of this review do until the game is adequately playable in all forms. Great, but needs more online options.You can’t choose between the regular version and European expansion when playing online with random opponents. That should be addressed. There also needs to be a middle ground on time limits on turns. You either get to choose between 5-minutes and 72-hours between turns. Can there please be a 24 hour option? Maybe for people with a higher karma level? It’s so annoying to wait for a person to join a game and not even select cards and food, then waste an online slot until they time out three days later. April 2024 update problemsApp worked great for me until recent release. I play on iPhone. Now, starting online games with other players, if I invite 3 unique players, somehow one gets added twice once the game starts. I recently had a player take too long on a random 5-person match. It converted to local AI. I am frozen out from making any moves though it’s my turn. I can’t take any action; cards light up to be played in a habitat but I can’t play them or get food/lay eggs/draw cards. Best Game I’ve Played In Quite Some TimeI have played the tabletop version a lot recently after being introduced to it by my brother-in-law, but the mobile version is just as good if not, dare I say, better. It is a minor irritant because at least it remembers where you were in your game when you reopen the app. Perhaps the app developers need to consider reducing the number of animations to lessen the load. Great to learn the game!I absolutely LOVE this game. Since I started playing this I finally started to learn how to actually win at this game and won my first board game of Wingspan this week! I’d like to note that I am playing this game on my iPad Pro and I only play the base game, no expansions yet. And I mainly play Automa. I’ve read some reviews that say it crashes, lags in game play and I have not experienced this at all. I have never tried it on my phone cause frankly I can’t imagine it being easy with all the small text. Wingspan: The Board Game Negative Reviews

Good but BuggyI love the Wingspan board game and overall this is a good app adaptation of it. However, there are certain birds/combinations that seem to be buggy and cause crashes. Most notably, I just bought the new Oceania expansion, and two games in a row I’ve been unable to complete because the game repeatedly crashes. This seems to be the case when you activate a round-end power in round 4, and then have a yellow game-end power. The game completes your round-end power, tallies the round end bonus scores, but then crashes when it’s time to play the game-end powers. I keep reopening the game and it keeps happening again. I have had similar problems with some of the European expansion cards but those seemed more random. For the price of the expansion I would expect them to work properly. It’s incredibly frustrating to play an entire game and then not be able to find out the final score in the end. I understand bugs happen and can be worked out, but I’m also disappointed I can’t find any actual app support. The app support link in the App Store takes you to the website for the wingspan app, but there’s no link to report bugs. For the price of this game the developers should have a contact option for users to report these bugs, especially when releasing new expansions..Ecm1981Version: 1.5.726

Horrible interfaceThe board game is so much better and I love the concept but I’d hope to continue playing with friends across the country, but the interface is horrible; You have no idea where you’re up to, sometimes it just stops and you don’t know why, it wants you to do something but you have no idea what it is or which areas stuck in. Eg: am I meant to be tucking a bird? No? Using an egg? No, discarding something? No? Okay, now what? There’s no indication of what needs to happen to progress the game. - The “help” is just fixed and static, it’s not contextual at all. So you try and get help, but it’s just the same information that you already saw, and it’s not very helpful. - Some of the background art, like for the feeder is just always there so it seems like you can always access it except you can’t like you can see the birdfeeder, but then it has to open in this other space which also makes no sense. - The use of space, and size has been poorly considered. Eg: a lot of relevant information is so small I can’t see it, and I barely need glasses, I have a very mild script and still struggled. Across a Mac an iPad and an iPhone, they all shared the same poor design challenges, eg: location, next steps/allowed or required actions are not clear so you end up leaving the game cause it might as well be frozen. In terms of readability and accessibility, that would also be a fail, as the writing is too small, there isn’t enough contrast, the backgrounds are busy and they didn’t appropriately consider use of space. It is a shame, but they are enough of a barrier to make playing it very difficult. Physical game is great, and we have all of the expansions. No online mode for efficient live play, also super glitchyThe biggest and longer standing issue - the 5 minutes per action is absurd for live play. It leads to people fitting this in around other tasks instead of sitting down to focus on the game, and then I have to get up and do other things around the house instead of sitting idly 90% of the game. So instead of a game taking a quick 15 minutes it can take 45. What should be changed about this? The starting turn selecting cards can be longer (2-3 min). All other turns limited to 1 min (or maybe 1.5 for people who like to track all the boards and anticipate future actions). This might not be ideal given that sometimes you need to calculate more, so maybe it works like chess and you have a sum total time to use for all your turns and if you run out, you lose (altogether, or suffer a point penalty). One other very simple fix, all other actions that aren’t your main turn should be limited to 15-30 sec (instead of every time a hummingbird gives each player a resource from the feeder, having to wait 5 minutes for each selection). Those changes would make for a more lifelike experience of everyone playing together at the same time. Maybe there could also be a 5min for all turns version for people who want to be sluggish, but I bet most of us want to play in real time and not spend 45 minutes idly waiting. As for the other critique about the glitches, since the mandatory update the other day, the game experience is a lot worse. Twitchy, crashes a lot, many bugs not fixed. This game just takes too long facing people online.I keep trying to play a full game and when people are taking there sweet time I can’t take it. I just end up falling asleep. I’ve been playing this game for over a year now, but starting in November 2022 it started crashing multiple times per game and it has gotten worse over time. Confusing to the point you can’t playDespite a tutorial, the game needs a help function for new players. There are too many things blocking or limiting actions, and it’s not clear what the objective of the game is and what you should try to do in each round…and have to do to end a turn. Until someone has played a few games, they don’t know what to do and what is blocking them from moving or ending the turn. Give a helper that advises or explains what to do. Either let us turn that on, or set it up automatically to give a hint if we click something we can’t do three times or sit for too long without an action. Otherwise, it’s just too complex to even play a game once all the way through by yourself, and you don’t even let you look at the bird cards if they haven’t been used in a game yet. Heartbreaking Stability Ruining a Beautiful Gaming ExperienceThis is the only review I’ve ever written in my life. What an absolute shame. As an avid board gamer both in person and online I can honestly say that this game is the most well designed I’ve ever played. The interface is sleek and beautiful. The soundtrack is serene and well compliments the spirit of the game. The bird sounds and facts might well function as a stand alone educational app for bird lovers. It’s both wonderful and addictive in its replayability. The game is complex but masterfully simplified in the interface as well as the above average help tags. Which is why it’s infuriating that the otherwise perfect gaming experience is fatally destroyed by the complete lack of stability of the game. It crashes easily 12+ times a sitting. As others have written, you cannot look at opponents boards without the app crashing, a vitally important part of gameplay. Should give game option for online gamesFirst off, I love Wingspan. My family plays the board game all the time. However, with the new update adding Oceania expansion, they should’ve included the option when starting an online game whether to use Oceania expansion or not. Personally, I dislike the Oceania expansion; my family when we play just use the non-nectar birds and stick with the original board and no use of nectar. I hate the nectar component and the new board (you should not be able to gain two food from the Forest with no birds in it). So I passed on buying the expansion on the app. But when starting a new game online, I still have to play with the expansion that I dislike and don’t want to play with. I can’t just quit every game I get the Oceania expansion cause it’ll tank my karma quickly to nothing. Timer GlitchesThis used to be so fun to play but I’ve become frustrated with the 3 minute timer. I play my turns quickly and pay attention to the game but I’ve had three times in a row where (1) my phone died and I couldn’t reconnect quick enough, (2) I was debating which card to tuck from my hand on a rather long turn with lots of activations and didn’t realize the timer was almost out, and (3) I had someone come to my door and had to help them before being able to return to the game. Would give 5 stars, but their update broke things that used to workThe Oct 2023 update to change online game play has caused this app to go backwards in functionality. I get that they may need to change how the backend works, or who controls it. But they took away the timer that shows how much time is left for a player to make their turn. Nice implementation, but app has bugsGood graphics, nice implementation of board game, but app has following errors: 1) At end of game, after the score is tallied, there are menu options to return to the Main Menu, Replay, etc. These buttons do not work (game against AI). The app gets stuck on the score screen and the only way to restart or return to the main menu is to completely close out of the app. 2) Completed games don’t seem to clear out of the main menu current games list. When you click on them, you just get stuck at the score page again. 3) You have to click on bird cards multiple times to place an egg with that bird. It doesn’t seem to work first try every time, or maybe I don’t know where to touch on the bird card… 4) When activating habitats, you often have to touch them multiple times to get them to work. Maybe they are just slow or laggy? 5) Also, it’s easy to still be required to follow through with some action in the bottom right menu (choosing a food or laying an egg for example), but not notice this action is required, so you are trying to move on and touch something else, but it isn’t responding.
