Bulls indicate correct digits in the correct positions, while Cows represent correct digits in the wrong positions. The two do not overlap. For example, if you try “1234” and receive 2A 0B, it means two digits are correct and in the right place. If another guess like “1564” returns 1A 2B, it means one digit is correctly placed, while two others appear in the target answer but in different positions.
