Looks amazing! Just not for us - yet!As a homeschooling mom I’m always on the lookout for fun ways to introduce supplemental learning. I clicked the ad & it took me to the website. I answered all of the questions & enjoyed the simplicity & gearing their suggestions for your children based on their unique learning styles. I purchased the discounted 6month subscription bc I was super excited & it was a deal! I confirmed my email, looked around the site more, seeing all of the packs available for purchase, which I just thought were “extra” & that the app would still have content appropriate for older kids’ (mine are 7yo and 9yo in a month) I clicked on the packs hoping I’d get some kind of “preview” of what’s included in them before purchasing - I accidentally purchased them & didn’t know it until I checked my balance. I emailed the company when I got the notification that I didn’t have enough money in my account. I was confused bc I really didn’t think I purchased anything when clicking those. I downloaded the app & saw that it’s geared mostly towards toddlers & the content was far too young for my older kids & too old for my 1yo so I basically can’t use it. The thrill of finding something secular for my homeschooled kids that is set up so well & the 10min time limit to get the discount had me in a hurry to purchase. I was offered a free worksheet pack for my children but I really just wanted a refund. After another email, they refunded my purchase & were super helpful and friendly. When my toddler gets a little older, I will probably come back & use this app. The short time I was able to explore it, it was colorful, set up simply, has cute little avatars, and I believe it will be helpful. The packs available for purchase seem pretty cool & worth the money as well. If I could afford it, I’d definitely purchase some as I saw some directed towards children with ADHD. Great For ToddlersMy son is 3 years old and we LOVE Keiki Learning Games! As a kid, my son absolutely loves all of the different games, and as a mother I love that my son is learning and doesn’t even know it! He’s not feeling pressured to learn, it just happens naturally with games like this. I would highly recommend it to any parent who is trying to avoid overstimulating games but needs a little bit of tablet time to get things taken care of around the house. The only other recommendation I would have right now is that I know my son would love even more imaginative play games. We love the counting games in the alphabet games, but my son thrives in imaginative play and would really enjoy war games that challenged his imagination. Even some mechanical games would be great, that way he can learn how to break things apart or put things back together. Pros and Cons(Parents who have speech delayed, high energy, short attention span toddlers, this is the review for you) Pros: Cute, appropriate, and low excitement. It’s not overstimulating and we enjoy playing the games together. Games make frequent use of dragging items, so it does improve coordination. Cons: Some games move a bit too fast for a 2 year old. A lot of the games are the same premise too, so that can be frustrating and boring for a toddler. If your child is already in speech therapy, I personally don’t view it necessary to purchase their information sheets. Overall score — 6.5/10. While my kiddo is definitely curious, he is more interested in the device itself, not the games. Which isn’t what we are trying to promote. However, if you want an app to give the both of you a mental break from coming up with educational crafts every second of the day, it is a wonderful tool to sit down and enjoy quiet time together. First impressionI purchased a plan for a discounted rate as a first time user of the app. We haven’t gotten through our first week yet, but my 3 year old was able to catch on quickly to the games and app activities even though she’s never engaged in any type of tablet type game before. Some of the worksheets for week one were a little advanced for where she’s at with writing skills but you can always adjust the activities based on your toddler’s pace and learning level. I have read negative reviews about misconceptions about payments and I did receive an unexpected charge for $1 in addition to the subscription I paid for which I didn’t understand but definitely not a huge issue since it was just a dollar but concerned this may be a sign of the some of the problems other parents had with getting unexpected charges. From a single dad w/ a 3yo..I’ll admit, I hate letting the iPad babysit my son during the day, but being a single work-from-home dad limits my options. With that said, Keiki’s world has been an absolute wonder for my son and his development. He loves all the games, they’re well designed and intuitive (spelling word’s game requires the letters to be placed IN ORDER; small attention to detail like that). Super funMy daughter is about to turn 2 in August and she is out of daycare right now due to hardships, so I seen this app on Instagram and was like “Hey, let’s give this a try!” So far she loves the games. My daughter does not have her own electronic device cause I don’t believe in giving toddlers at a certain age technology as it can turn into a bad habit, so I allow her to do little things on my phone. Keiki is an app she enjoys very well. I take 3 hours out the day and cut them up into 30 minute intervals and let her play and learn. Great learning tool for kidsI stumbled upon the Keiki learning app when trying to find some educational content for my kid on my phone. Best learning app I’ve usedI’ve tried many other learning apps. This one is by far the best. There’s so much that it offers. DisappointedAt first I liked the app, but it seemed to move to slow for my daughter. She was totally bored and I couldn’t figure out how to skip the stuff she knows and ultimately she quit playing. I attempted to get into the app so that I could cancel however it would not let me in. Worksheet issues.The worksheet’s are not available even after purchase of app. My grandchildren all love to play the app but when I have them all here at the same time they must share. Being able to print the worksheets for their age level would be most helpful. Edit: Someone got back to me and it was user error. I blocked photos from being saved and downloaded. Only app I let my kiddo useMy 2.5 year old loves this app and has easily discovered how to navigate it. I’m one of those parents who are “anti-iPad”but this app is the only thing he’s allowed to play for a short amount of time that keeps him busy enough for me to get some stuff done. The kids fight over who gets to playThe preferred choice over khans. Been 4 days and my kids gets on and stays engaged for quiet awhile together working through the different activities. Scam App! Stay away!I’ve sent multiple emails and still no resolution to my issue. I paid for a year’s subscription but when I went to the app it wasn’t showing as paid. I signed out and signed back in and it didn’t fix my issue. I tried logging into the app on a different device and not only did it not appeared as paid but the account I had set up for my kid was also gone and I was back at step 1 in the second device. I emailed support and they asked for a screenshot or video of my issue. I sent both! The video showing I was signed in and still didn’t have access to my paid account. Good, but certainly stealing your money.While it is a good app and my daughter did enjoy using it especially the matching card game, may I add only at the age of early two, I am highly disappointed in the communication (the overuse of automated created email responses) and the constant withdrawal of funds. I was charged twice in less than a weeks’ time for this app, to only be told that I couldn’t receive a refund because of the policy. I could never get a response clarifying why I continue to be charged multiple times even after I had turned off the automatic payments. This is certainly something that I highly suggest is fixed immediately in order to continue to serve your customers. They scam you! Watch your bank account!I was excited for this app to assist with my child’s language delay. But after purchasing, I saw I was charged twice. After contacting them, they said it was for a puzzle app as well that I never agreed to pay for. No where was I prompted to pay again. THIS APP IS A SCAM!!!The app claims to help with speech. Asks for microphone access but doesn’t utilize any “speech” coming from the kids playing the ONLY game in the entire app that “helps with speech”. This seems sketchyWhen I’m looking at the reviews on here, it seems that the majority of the positive reviews are given on the same days. Take a look at July 23, for example. Then look at the days before July 23… you will see like 20 positive reviews all on July 23 and then several negative reviews the weeks prior to that. It’s just strange that you get 20 people to review you with five stars on the same day. The negative reviews here seem to say consistently that there are issues with canceling the subscription or the app isn’t working or being charged over and over again within the same billing period. When I open the app, I can’t even preview anything without paying. And due to the risk of being overcharged that I have read about in the reviews here, this app gets one star and is being deleted.
