No way to turn music off?I’m enjoying this with my little one at the moment. So far very impressed, but there seems to be no way to turn the music off? Thankfully for once it’s one of the few app like this so far that seems to have actually hired someone professional for their audio. The music is thankfully unobtrusive. A few bugs, and definitely a bit priceyI’ll start by saying that we love sago mini! We subscribe to world and school already, as well as the sago mini box. That being said, paying another $60 annual subscription is a bit much, and I wish there was a cheaper add on so I’m not paying hundreds of dollars for apps. They are bright and musical and engaging, but that’s just not realistic for a lot of families. We did like the first words that we tried without the subscription, but got a lot of “oops something went wrong” error messages. The app just launched so I’m sure there are kinks to work out. Definitely not an app we would use without a subscription, and that’s simply not in the budget at the moment, but maybe down the road it’s something we can revisit..LinzlgVersion: 1.0.0

LikeI would highly recommend Sago Mini First Words to the parents of toddlers. It's a wonderful learning aid for kids who struggle with speech, and is easy to use for parents who have no previous experience. The interface is simple and intuitive, which was helpful when trying to focus on coaching my son through his pronunciation of new words. I want to love this app! But...This app is sadly buggy. It's heartbreaking to see my son excited to use the app and then it refuses to work for one reason or another. I love the look and the approach, but the app has a couple of major issues: 1. It randomly keeps prompting to allow access to the camera/microphone, takes me to settings where it shows the app already has those permissions enabled. 2. The second issue is that randomly the sound will cut out on the children speaking, all other sounds work but the child repeating words will be completely mute and then ask my son to repeat it, how is he supposed to repeat what he cannot hear? I updated my iPad to see if that helped, but it's still like this. Pretty please fix this, I want to subscribe but it would be pointless to pay for an app that doesn't work :(.IrotoriVersion: 1.0.220920

Amazing speech resourceFor the cost of a single speech therapy session ($60) you get a year’s subscription. My child has been able to decide to work on her words through play and the use of kids doing the various words is tremendously beneficial. The content added always keeps her interested. Voice recognitionMy son absolutely enjoys this app, however I’ve noticed the voice capture is a little off. If I put it in “low” setting, it almost never captures my sons voice, but if I raise it just 1 level up, it’s too sensitive and captures everything. Even when he says the word that’s not shown, it still passes what he says as correct. Excellent for Special NeedsThe content is arranged so well that it’s easy to choose a subject for your child to work on. The app has built in breaks and games to keep your child engaged. They have prompts that are from peers which makes learning relaxing and fun. This app has a great variety of topics to practice speech for progress. Fun App, has glitchesSo my 4 year old only has a few verbal words, so I don’t as definitely excited to see him try this app, as we already have Sago Mini school and world that he loves. He loves that it has familiar characters. Not Bad Sago!My nonverbal 4 year old, Cora, has learned 20 words in a week! That might be slow, but honestly, that’s quite fast for how she learns. THIS IS AWESOME!My three year old loves the video of the ACTUAL children saying and sounding it! The large icons are cute with them reading out the titles. They Charged Me TwiceHere "They" means Apple and Sago Mini. I upgraded Sago Mini from one app to the bundle version within one hour. Sago Mini said they would give me the refund which was the "upgrade" version price minus the price I already paid. No, they didn't. They charged me twice.
