The Division Resurgence Positive Reviews
Graphics and frame rateFor a mobile game I was not expecting a whole lot. I knew the story wasn’t going to be a home run and the overall game wasn’t going to be much different from the first one. I expected a fresh coat of paint on basically the same division game and as far as that goes I got what I expected. HOWEVER, I play this game on iPhone 16PRO, and the graphics and frame rate are unrestricted. You can turn this game all the way up and when you do it’s smooth and there’s no overheating or stuttering. This game visually is not much different than console. You can screen mirror this from your phone to a tv and play it just like a console game with a controller and the graphics look just as good as any other game on Xbox or PlayStation. The attention to detail is incredible and this game is extremely well optimized and fun. Still not a big fan of the story and highly disappointed this is what we got instead of the division heartland. But for what it is it’s very well done and the team that worked on this does deserve credit. Don’t know many phone games that can be played at max graphics and 60FPS at the same time. Awesome gameFor a free game, it's absolutely amazing. Not really a P2W model either. If you're into 3rd person shooters, The Division franchise, or want a game with high difficulty replay-ability, then check it out. For example, Elite Missions (rotating weekly endgame content) are harder versions of Dungeons that reward good team comps, team builds, and thought out decisions because a full wipe sends you to orbit lol. Elite missions are currently the only way to get T2 loot for now if I'm not mistaken... so those who enjoy farming mythics for the best loot, the farm is very satisfying. Observation: Just make sure you choose your first spec very carefully because the materials to max it out are scarce. Be sure it's the one you want to start with. Bugs: intermittent crashes, the back button on controller doesnt work on some screens forcing you to have to tap to exit then resume usage of controller, item loss, lock button not working on your items, controller sensitivity intermittency, controller occasionally auto aims somewhere and you cant aim correctly after..Version: 1.40506
Gameplay Good but won’t lastLet me start out by saying I am a massive Division fan. Have played since the original released on PS4. From a gameplay perspective this game checks all the boxes. It’s satisfying to level up, the gear feels like it actually makes a difference, when you find a good piece of loot it still gives you that hit of dopamine, and the shooting mechanics are great. However I see this game dying in the next few years purely because of the disgusting pricing. They do that terrible Chinese garbage of having to randomly draw to get any skin that doesn’t look like a thrift store outfit. With that draw system (it’s straight up gambling, one that increases the amount of money you have to spend to gamble again. It’s so scummy and is the reason I will no longer purchase anything in this game even though I love the game and want to support it. I just can’t support these ridiculous prices.) you end up most likely having to spend 50 dollars plus for a skin in a mobile game. THATS A FULL TANK OF GAS. OR THE PRICE OF A MEAL FOR ME AND MY FAMILY. These pricing will be the death of this game as no one is gonna support a game that feels like it’s trying to fleece you then spits in your face and asks for more money to get fleeced again..Version: 1.33161.0
Needs optimization of resource usageThe Division Resurgence is arguably the best addition to the Division series since the original game, in my opinion. It really did well at tying everything together from TD and TD2. I really like how you can run into other players throughout the entire gameplay, and the matchmaking is near instant most times. I am level 40 and I think the level progression system is the best it’s been as well in the series. The gear progression system however is very grindy, and it continues to be that way well beyond hitting level 40, so it will keep you busy. You also don’t need to spend a dime, as I so far haven’t spent anything and am practically near maxed out. That being said, I am currently using an iPhone 16 Pro, and I have never seen an iPhone get so physically hot playing a game. My current settings are Medium graphics and 45fps. This game also “decompresses resources” every few startups which undoubtedly uses a ton of network resources and also makes the phone physically hot. You will also need to charge your device most likely after playing. I think this game is great, but I am sure it does take a toll physically on mobile devices no doubt..Version: 1.40506
Greatest mobile game yet but still needs improvementsBrings the nostalgia of Division one to a mobile device. The game is great, but there are certain aspects that need to be dealt with around the first light encampment where the game glitches out. In the dark zone, the game glitches out and one of the side missions does not progress(rikers outpost) west side of the map. Other than that, the game is great. I hope that they bring more features back from the original versions such as buying weapons and buying attachments instead of constantly doing world events or missions to gain them. And the weekly sell limit should either increase or disappear so we can improve our gear. The weapons proficiency is a great feature and gives the player and goal to accomplish to increase their power score. I hope they improve the rewards for missions and world events because they give you barely enough to upgrade your gear such as superior weapons components..Version: 1.40506
Ok start, still a ways to goLong time Division Agent. Played original Division and still play Division 2. I have years of playtime invested into the franchise, so understand I want to see this game to succeed. For day 1, this is ok. I play Division 2 almost daily on PC. Both on my desktop and via GeForce now on my iPad Pro M4. For day 1, it’s about what I’d expect. FPS limited to 30 - that’s disappointing, I want to use my 120hz screen. Graphics are substandard for modern iPad games. Devs - keep working on it, good start, but not there yet. I want optimization for keyboard and mouse! A game like this excels with a keyboard and mouse. Not everything is working properly right now. Text fields don’t work with a keyboard as it is today. I have to disconnect the iPad from the keyboard then type on screen if I want to type. Not ideal. There are some dialogue sections in the game so far that don’t have all the info there. I have to tap with a finger in some section where I should be able to click with a mouse, please fix. The game says I should be able to scroll with the mouse to switch to my secondary weapon. That doesn’t work. Please fix..Version: 1.33161.0
Division 1 & 2 player reviewAs someone with a lot of time in both the division 1 and its sequel this game really surprised me. I’m very familiar with Ubisoft over the years and really thought this would be pay to win but it not too bad. There are plenty of micro transactions but I’m almost level 30 and haven’t felt forced into buying anything. Haven’t needed to spend a dime. The gameplay and loop are very satisfying so grinding doesn’t feel bad, it’s actually very fun and I’ll catch myself playing for multiple hours at a time which for a mobile game is not normal for me, I usually put them down after 30 minutes. Performance is good on my old iPhone 14 but I play on low settings, if I want good graphics I’ll play division on my PC. I’ve been playing since launch and don’t see myself slowing down so if you enjoy the division 1 & 2 you will love having it in your pocket..Version: 1.33161.0
TOO MANY BUGSI actually like The Division: Resurgence… which honestly makes this more frustrating to write. The core gameplay is solid. The mechanics feel good, the shooting is satisfying, and the story does a decent job pulling you in. When everything is working the way it’s supposed to, it’s genuinely a fun experience and feels like a proper Division game on mobile. But the problem is… things don’t work the way they’re supposed to way too often. There are bugs that have been around since the beta that are still not fixed. The “Outpost Annihilation” side quest is still broken, which is kind of wild this far in. Menu notifications don’t clear after you’ve already claimed the items, so you’re constantly stuck with those annoying icons that make it look like you’ve got something new when you don’t. The game crashes randomly, and there’s no real in-game way to report any of this unless you go out of your way to use Discord—which shouldn’t be the only option. It gets worse in PvP. There’s technically a report system for malicious players, but it literally doesn’t work. Every time you try to report someone, it just says “report failed.” So not only are there issues, but there’s also no reliable way to do anything about them. Then there are mechanics that feel like they were added and forgotten. You’ll collect tons of items meant to be given to NPCs “in need” for rewards, but those interactions barely ever happen. After over a week of playing several hours a day, I haven’t seen it once—and a lot of other players say the same. It makes the whole system feel pointless. Overall, this is a good game buried under way too many bugs and neglected features. That’s what makes it frustrating—it could be great. But right now, it feels like the developers aren’t prioritizing fixing the issues that have been there since the beginning. If they clean it up, I’d easily recommend it. In its current state, though, you just have to be willing to deal with a lot of problems to enjoy what’s otherwise a really solid game..Version: 1.36311.0
Top NotchThe story is great, the style is awesome, the co-op is outstanding, the challenges are worthy while some of them seem to be not possible to achieve, the pvp is fun when you don’t have to face those who manipulate the game to be invincible, the game is still fresh and it is constantly being updated to squash all the bugs that are not much at all bothersome. The only bugs that are an issue is with those who use bugs to their advantage and achieve impossible feats that no one can do better with. When those who manipulated their way to the top of the leaderboards are found to be illegitimately there, others may have a better time competing to be a great Agent. Overall The Division Resurgence is something easily playable for a very long time. Veterans of prior Division series most likely would enjoy this just as much as Division and Division 2..Version: 1.43001
Avid opinionAfter playing all other Division versions i have come to a conclusion. why has Ubisoft or any other company really done a great mobile/PC game? maybe the tech on the mobile side was too slow but Ubisoft have done something great. to be able to play a game on my rig at home and to be able to play the SAME game on mobile is something that should be happening more often. The PC version is still not a full release but with a couple of tweaks one can play at you monitors refresh rate. some of the advancements are a bit hard to get because it involves killing enemies of the same damage type. beyond that and the bugged upgrade available in the proficiency tab i would say this game is a solid 9. good hunting agents.Version: 1.43001
Can’t Turn off in-game musicI played all the Division games. I understand the OST is good. I like it, but what I enjoy more is strictly ambience, and you have removed the option to turn off background game music so now I can’t listen to my own music on any platform, while playing one of my favorite game series when I come home from work. I need to be in my flow state guys. Please add the option to turn off in-game music in an update soon. If you do, I might actually spend money on this game because I’ll be enjoying it like I used to on PC. Edit: (after devs reply to just tak to customer support) Why would I want to talk to an AI chat bot, visit a website with poor user routing, or submit a ticket that will never get read? Also, what the hell were you smoking when you were designing the stun lock ability for bulwark? It’s made the game unplayable for anyone who isn’t playing that specialization. The gunsmith title is unobtainable because you have weapon progression that doesn’t progress despite goals being met. DZ is filled with rampant rogue agents with no warning when they turn on you. If any of you had the gall to read this far, the game could benefit from an ability to save your touchscreen layout settings so you don’t have to redo it each and every time you need to make a new character. If you played Div 1 or 2 like a lot of us did you will quickly realize this is not it..Version: 1.36311.0
PVP ModePVP mode, specifically Conflict Demolition, needs a huge overhaul. It seems folks found a way to cheat or it was impossible to k*ll opponents. I should have taken a screenshot, but my team kept being mowed down while the other team seemed untouchable. Each player on their team managed to get 20+ k*lls and absolutely no one on our team got anyone and was unable to even play the match as intended because we kept spawning in the exact same spit we were k*lled, making it easy for the other team to stand and mow us down like a firing line. A player on the other team also had the ability to spam one of his abilities, allowing him to shield constantly. The mode should also be level based. Why on Earth would a level 18 match up against a team of level 40? So far, I am enjoying the game, but I will not be playing Conflict Demolition until it is redone..Version: 1.36311.0
A rare playing game keeper.I’m not gonna lie. It’s a straight just like an Xbox division game cept it’s not. It’s on mobile. Funniest thing in the app store very few games have replayabililty in my view. This is one of em. Man it’s sooo fun xp bonus no xp bonus. It’s about the power. But lemme try to explain. For one 5specializations. Lots of different weapons all have one purpose. There is always something to do whether it’s levels mods, its proficiency in weapons. Chasing a skill chip combo. It’s starts of green and white gear basic but it moves out of control soon enough with sets and this and that. But it never overwhelms. Higher up u go there there is guides str8 from the devs. There is a fun PvP mode. Conflict darkzone. All with their own deal of rewards. There are even faction stories of enemies to wonder on. There is lots of portal obtains. And I could go on and on and on. And while yes there are bugs. Very few games on mobile do this well this early on. 90% with me don’t even make it past one hour or night of trying. But there is so much to keep u involved. That it is a keep sake. What was it now only a month since launch. It’s a hit. And totally as ftp as u wanna be..Version: 1.40506
Promising Right Out the GateIt still feels a little early to fully judge the game, but after playing since launch day, I can confidently say I’m enjoying it so far. The graphics are seriously impressive, especially on my iPad Pro 13-inch M4. Everything feels clean, sharp, and well optimized. Gameplay feels smooth, and the gunplay is solid. It is responsive and satisfying without feeling clunky. I’m currently level 6, and one thing I’m really enjoying is the class system. I’m not locked into a favorite just yet, which feels like a good sign. It shows there is depth and variety. It also feels like I have barely scratched the surface and there is a lot more to discover as I keep playing. One of the biggest highlights for me is the flexibility in controls. Being able to switch between touchscreen, controller, and keyboard and mouse is a huge win. It makes the experience feel accessible no matter how you prefer to play. This might end up being my next addiction. I just really hope it sticks around, especially after the last Ubisoft title I invested time in did not. Overall, it is a strong start and definitely worth checking out..Version: 1.33161.0
The Division ResurgenceI will say this. For those who did not ever get a chance to play in 2016 when it first originally started in New York on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox one, we’ll look no further!!! Even the people that actually took the time to play had some pretty good responses as well!!! Literally no gas lighting either!!! Detailed!!! Accurate!!! Precise!!! Customization as far as apparel could be the only thing I am thinking they could work on!!! And listen to the people’s responses as well as far as the developers reading this. Do not change the gameplay!!! Absolutely fantastic!!! Your days are numbered Call of duty mobile!!! Mark my words!!! 🤣💯🫡.Version: 1.43001
ADD IN GAME SOUND CONTROLS - URGENT NEEDBackground: iOS is flawed horrifically and has no way to mute or turn up/down certain apps. Only if the apps themselves allow it. Problem: when farming sound isn't needed. In fact it's never REALLY needed at all, but I digress. We need a way to mute the game and still play it. Or, at an absolute bottom tier minimum, turn down in game sounds and turn OFF TOTALLY OFF in game music. Solution: the problem also spells the solution. This is possible and easy in iOS. Simply implement "respect silent button" mode. This would mean that when the silent mode is on (Bell icon has a line through it in top right) all in game sounds are disabled IF the player selects this option. Otherwise it can continue ignoring silent mode, I guess. This is the easiest like 5 minute fix a programmer can implement though. The more involved correct fix is an entire audio section inside the app like every app should have (...) This is not a QoL thing. It is an absolute necessity for mobile games. People are listening to music/whatever else in the background. Not being able to mute sounds is basically an intentional bug. Much smaller devs have implemented fixes. No excuse for ubisoft! (Also fix the constant logouts of uplay account).Version: 1.40506
True to form, just for mobileGameplay is pretty smooth. Cover system being my biggest gripe sometimes it’s a little wonky shifting cover to cover (even with dual edge controller). Honestly haven’t cared much for the story itself, I just love the gameplay of these games, & resurgence is true to the gameplay of both console versions. Crafting isn’t neccessary here, so wouldn’t waste resources. Monetization is there but tbh totally optional, & I’ve been able to come across pretty good loot without having to shelve out cash to do so. The battle pass seems to be the most intriguing option guaranteeing a classic weapon (no spoilers) which is pretty standard with games like this..Version: 1.33161.0
Ubisoft you on to somethingI’m a huge division fan and played both games on console. I find this different spin to be intriguing and something that should be explored in the console versions. The game is fun so far. This is a review after launch and I really have no complaints with the direction, the story, the work put in behind the game. Now of course there are battle passes and packs to buy but the effort put into the game so far deserves a few bucks from us all who love the franchise. They aren’t overbearing with the pop ups and the new system in the game is very interesting. Keep up the good work Ubisoft. I’ll always be a fan!.Version: 1.33161.0
Tom Clancy’s The Division : ResurgenceIf you’re a fan of the first two Division console titles, then you’re gonna be a fan of Resurgence as well. It looks, sounds, feels, and plays like a Division game. New York feels alive, albeit barely, and is a vast, evolving battlefield served with realistic Time of Day and weather effects. The skill trees are well implemented, and the gear sets, skill mods, and weapon accessories are all useful additions to fine tune your build. The PVPVE Dark Zone is also available for adventurous players hunting bosses for set gear…or for players hunting other players! Ubisoft nailed this mobile port of the first Division game, and I play it daily, and I’m giving it 5 stars!.Version: 1.36311.0
Feels like HomeBack when the division 1 launched I was an early player and still played all the way to the division 2! I feel all the good parts of both games are present in this one so far! And the return to NY and the early agents being deployed feels nice! Controls feel intuitive, I am not a huge mobile gamer, usually play on console but is really well optimized! Graphic wise it does feel good and it’s easy to fast forward cinematic as well to get into action! Loading is short and so far I hope they can make the game last a good time until the division 3 comes! I’m giving it 5 star so far!.Version: 1.33161.0
I love itI’m only going to talk about the downsides of the game because as developers I feel like that what they need to hear. First. It does overheat your phone and it does it fast. The universe in this game is big and there is so much compacted into a mobile game that our phones can over heat pretty fast. Second. It’s a little confusing. The gameplay is I simple in terms of movement and shooting, but there is a lot to do and they make it kind of hard for a inexperienced video game player to really get a grip on the gameplay. They could have made it a little more beginner friendly, but besides that I love it..Version: 1.33161.0
It’s almost there. The pve content is absolutely top notch, how you move.. the combat.. customization.. all absolutely incredible. But, for a tom Clancy game the PvP is disappointing to the extent that I feel like whoever was in charge of balance probably needs to seek employment flipping burgers. There are def god classes that take no damage, stun lock you and kill you in 1 shot. So unless you are one of them good luck enjoying that huge part of the game. You’d think they’d have this atleast kindve figured out by now, but no, it’s waaaaaaaaaaaay off. I chose a vanguard when I was new, and I’m completely useless in a PvP setting, coming from a 20+ year gamer that has played every tom Clancy game ever released and run those leader boards on them all..Version: 1.46595
Bravo! This game reminds me of without remorse. I’m very much enjoying this game. I’m running at 45fps on my anbernic 477m and 60fps on my ios16. The shooting is great, the story is surprisingly great. The feel of the city is great. I hope they keep expanding it(even though it’s already massive) teaming up is easy and quick. I really do enjoy this game a lot. A few things I wish we had. A world clock. That goes with the time of day would be cool. For Rp purposes. Maybe some kind of customizable safe house for all of us to invite team members for planning, a range there and gun tuning, and just a pat on the back really it’s that good!.Version: 1.36311.0
Getting betterThe game is great, but when it first released there was one key issue pertaining to the clan system — as a result I was unable to make a clan despite my phoenix coins being deducted. They have since then fixed this issue and it didn’t take long for them to do so. There’s also a side mission I am stuck with that is broken that requires me to intercept some Rikers but after killing the only 3 there, none others appear and they are nowhere to be seen in the mission area. All in all, the game is good. Most games upon release are FULL of bugs, this one only a couple at most..Version: 1.33161.0
First ImpressionI’m a former Undawn player. In general this creation looks nice, battle mechanics feels pretty. Graphics - mixed, a cold and gloomy humdrum. It would make sense to play if the scenario is strong. But it’s surprisingly weak. Dollar-flu? Seriously? Common, guys! You have recreated the heart of creativity - NY. Couldn’t you find a decent reason for a havoc? Above that, I got a hunch that this game would turn the same repetitive upgrade drudgery as it happened with Undawn. Let’s see how it goes. Thank you for the nice addition to the gaming world. It helps to distract from all the mess around. —- Upd.: I played it for a day. Unfortunately, this is another weapon upgrade clicker. Too much buttons tapping instead of playing..Version: 1.33161.0
Pretty amazingThis game really is in amazing experience for a mobile game.. needs some polishing which I’m sure it will get, but other than that it is great. The loot system, the extraction mode with its own unique take, skill tree/crafting system and the list goes on. Super in depth and I feel like Ubisoft is seeing where gaming is going. To mobile systems, being able to play on the go, quick or slowing it down for a nice late night chill/grind session. No need to waste thousands of dollars on pc/game systems when you can play versions of games like this. Mobile gaming is going to go big with games like this..Version: 1.33161.0
IPAD/UBISOFT CANT LINK/LOG INProbably the funnest game on the App Store. Has a lot to offer and potential . But for some reason on my “iPad Pro 4th gen” I can’t link/log into my Ubisoft account? Why is that. It just goes to a black loading screen that never loads. But when I play off the IPhone it lets me log in with no hassle. Everything on my settings, for my iPad, is basically the same on my iPhone? Yes I’m up to date with all my apps and devices. Deleted and redownloaded… nothing.? Is this something that will be fixed or is it someone how not compatible with my version of iPad?.Version: 1.43001
Bulwarks and Field medicsThere’s a bunch of kids with no friends who are spamming the bulwark and field medic technologies. They have a higher advantage at all times and there’s no way to counter the cheesy moves they do. Field medics get a boost of speed and start running side to side making it hard to aim with the games system. Bulwarks have a shield that only exposes the head and you can barely hit that. Then they have very short cooldowns on something that gives them a guaranteed kill. It’s unfair to vanguard. Even though tech operators and Demolitionists can counter it, the damage done by their devices almost does nothing in that fight. The PvP in this game is severely unbalanced..Version: 1.36311.0
I love it but it’s too crowded to look atI am a fan of the series and own both The Division 1 and 2 and their premium content. I was happy when the Resurgence was announced. In a way it’s a great way to replay one of my all time favorite series. I am currently on an iPhone Pro Max so it is not a small screen for a phone. The problem is that all the HUD elements from the desktop version are here and it really gets in the way, especially when things heat up. I really can’t see anything and the parkour mechanics that work flawlessly on the desktop fall short here. I love the game itself as it is as close as it can be to its desktop counterpart, but it’s awkward and tiring to look at it on a smaller screen..Version: 1.36311.0
Glitches with the enemyI really ain’t got much to say while everyone is crying about it being lagging and buggy I understand it’s new game and ain’t nothing wrong with it but recommend adding more servers and fix the enemies glitching they like to glitch a lot but other then that it’s good game one of the best open world games but with the free roam yall need to add more enemies and try to have more access to buildings with loot and enemies that’s one thing free roam games don’t have add access to where we can enter building for loot he’ll throw a boss in them for rewards other then that it’s excellent game.Version: 1.33161.0
The Division on My Phone, SortaIt just launched so patches can fix most of its issues. The Bad: 1. Optimization is terrible. My phone is old but plays CoD Mobile silky smooth with gorgeous graphics. Resurgence barely chugs along with ugly muddy graphics. 2. Movement is clunky. Once again optimization issues. 3. Dated lame storytelling style that made sense 10 years ago but feels tired and too intrusive. 4. Pace of the action is too slow. In the originals there were way more random street encounters. I literally played 20 minutes trying to push towards firefights but was hindered by long in camp treks, massive menu clicking obstacles, and general pop ups that didn’t need to be addressed. Once outside I had to walk around empty streets for way too long before finding enemies. 5. It’s a PC/Console port that watered down the fun elements and left the lame ones. Story grind is terrible, especially on a mobile device. 6. Too many currency options and convoluted UI system. Not sure I’ve ever seen this many menus in a game before. I don’t remember the originals being this cumbersome but maybe. 7. The world feels lifeless. There are people but nothing feels lived in somehow. The Good: 1. It IS The Division on my phone. 2. Solo play is still an option. 3. As of right now the monetization feels fairly priced. We’ll see if that lasts. Conclusion: Right now I’d have to say the best thing about this game is it’s pushing me to go back and play the originals on my console. The franchise is great but this mobile iteration needs some major help to keep me playing. It just isn’t fun. If you’re playing on more recent hardware you may have a better experience but tech is only half the issues here for me. I give it a hopeful 3 stars because patches should get us to that mark. I just don’t see patches pushing this to 4 stars. Prove me wrong, please..Version: 1.33161.0
Mission 3 is buggedWhen doing mission 3, you have to Agent Kelly to start it. When I talked to her and selected to match make, it bugged out and was stuck standing in one place when you select Ready or not ready. When I pick solo, it continues the dialogue, but then resumes staying on the base, not being able to start the mission. It might just be my game, but still. Other than that, I like the game, I just wish you could choose your gadgets instead of having 4 fixed ones unlike the other division games. Also, unrelated but my favorite division game is 2.Version: 1.33161.0
Kind of a let downThe enemy AI is so much worse compared to the first 2 games. They will run towards you instead of taking cover, on arms deal defense they will actively ignore you to shoot at the crates, even after you shoot them, as if you don’t even exist to them. The idea of a shared open world is nice but world events being taken does get pretty annoying. You’re telling me I ran almost a full mile for an event to be completed right before I got to it? There’s also a LOT of cutscenes. Yeah you can skip them but The Division isn’t just an average story game, it doesn’t need 50 cutscenes during the intro, especially when those cutscenes don’t transport you anywhere.Version: 1.46595
Controller and sensitivity BugsWas enjoying the game, however I am playing with a controller and there are multiple bugs that still need to be worked out. The one that is kinda ruining things for me at the moment is the bug to camera and aim sensitivity. You can change the settings and sensitivity of the camera and it may or may not work for a time. When it does work the game plays pretty well. The problem is that it will sometimes just stop working and the sensitivity gets cranked up or down seemingly at random while you are playing which makes both aiming and navigating the world a huge pain instead of feeling enjoyable..Version: 1.33161.0
FunRating: 8/10 If you’ve ever wondered what a full console-style looter shooter would feel like on your phone, The Division Resurgence is probably the closest thing we’ve gotten so far. 🔥 What It Gets Right The biggest surprise here is just how complete the experience feels. This isn’t a watered-down mobile spin-off—it’s a legit open-world MMO-style shooter with missions, co-op, PvP modes, and that addictive “just one more run” gameplay loop. The game drops you into a shared New York where: • Events are constantly happening • You can team up with other players on the fly • There’s always loot to chase It genuinely feels alive, not like a bunch of disconnected missions. Combat is also a huge win. The classic cover-based shooting from the original Division games translates surprisingly well to mobile. Controls are customizable, and you can even use a controller if touch controls aren’t your thing. Visually? It’s impressive. On newer phones especially, the game looks sharp and runs smoothly, with stable performance even on mid-range devices. ⸻ ⚠️ Where It Falls Short It’s not perfect. • The world is slightly scaled down compared to the console versions (about 60–70% the size), so it can feel a bit compressed. • Like most free-to-play games, microtransactions are very noticeable, especially cosmetic items. • Some players feel aiming/shooting isn’t as tight as top-tier mobile shooters (especially on touch controls). And yeah… there’s still some grind. If you know The Division, you already expect that. ⸻ 🎯 Final Verdict The Division Resurgence does something most mobile games fail to do—it actually feels like a real game, not just a mobile version of one. It’s: • Deep • Content-heavy • Surprisingly polished Whether you’re a longtime Division fan or just want a solid shooter on your phone, this is absolutely worth downloading. Bottom line: 👉 One of the best “console-like” experiences on mobile right now—just be ready for the grind and microtransactions..Version: 1.33161.0
Freezes after tutorialGave you a 5 star outta love for the franchise and the fact the game part I got to play was amazing. But tutorial was all I got to play. Soon as I finish it freezes on loading screen. I restarted the game and guess what. I have to do tutorial again. Well same issue. Complete tutorial and it froze again. So can’t play the main game. Idk wat issue is whether a bug or what. Very sad I keep having this luck with all these games I wanna play and they are broken when they release. Why I don’t understand..Version: 1.33161.0
Amazing Game. One big thing missing! This game is amazing and really showcases the power of how far mobile gaming has come. I have always been a division fan and played all the games. This game has the console feel while playing and paying with friends is amazing. I did see its also coming to PC and that’s amazing. One big thing I think is a miss. The game is listed for iPhone and iPad. They seem to block the iPad version from being downloaded onto a M Series silicone Macs. This is essentially a checkbox in the deployment settings though their App Store. Please allow us to download this on our Macs and use controllers like a lot of other game publishers have done..Version: 1.43001
What do you think?Im glad they made this game for mobile. I noticed there have been some patches lately that fixed some issues I was experiencing. Still always room for improvement. The only thing I hate about this game, is the stupid character that runs around with a shield and axe. They are overpowered and tactically that doesn’t even make sense. I have to move from cover, run around while this guy chases me with an axe until I kill him while taking fire from enemy NPCs. Please remove or reduce their power. It’s stupid, annoying, and a waste of time and bullets dealing with them. Thank you..Version: 1.40506
Great until it crashesI haven’t played division in over 6 years because of personal reasons unrelated to the game. So I was excited to see a mobile option. I downloaded it right away. 15 minutes into playing my game crashes and I’m having to restart it, I thought it was a fluke. I’m level 25 now on day 7 and my game is still crashing frequently especially at critical moments (middle of battle or right before extracting gear/myself in dark zone) I’m so fed up with it, working hard to get good gear just to lose it all from a crash. I’m about to call it quits. Ubisoft please fix this, I really don’t want to stop playing this game again..Version: 1.33161.0
I can’t believe this is on mobileThe base install is like 7 GB, which is incredible for how the game looks and plays. The the graphics are super high Fidelity console levels of quality. The voice acting is very clear and crisp and the gun play feels like it was designed for mobile. The monetization seems fair although some things are bit high (not bad at all though) but the core game is there so it’s not bad definitely I’d recommend it. These are the kind of games we need on mobile Ubisoft really outdid themselves. Definitely a Five Star game.Version: 1.33161.0
Incredible!Bro. Is this really a mobile game? It looks and feels WAY too good to be a mobile game. I’m a huge fan of the Division and still very active on Division 2. It’s Tuesday. I should be on Division 2 wiping out the weekly Black Tusk invasion but here I am playing this mobile game. The touch controls are surprisingly intuitive but I’m playing on iPhone 15 Pro Max with a Backbone controller. The buttons are mapped pretty much identically to Division 2 on Xbox, which makes me a very happy camper. It really feels like I’m playing on console. This is madness. Again, I’m a VERY happy camper. 🫶🏻💯.Version: 1.33161.0
PerfectFor a mobile port of the Division game, this is literally the perfect port of the game on mobile. It is exactly what you expect for a mobile Division game! Ubisoft you truly deserve 5 stars from me. I am so impressed on how smooth it runs even on an older iPhone like myself playing on iPhone 13. Truly a strong competitor for mobile game of the year imo..Version: 1.33161.0
Good game but…The side mission Outpost Annihilation (by Hells Kitchen) is bugged, the other waves of enemies do not spawn so I cannot complete it, plz fix.Version: 1.33161.0

Allow 60 fps + Max graphics on iPhone 16 Pro MaxEverything is excellent. Optimize the game further so as to allow the iPhone 16 Pro Max to run 60 fps on max graphics.Version: 1.33161.0
Controller sensitivity keeps changingI use a gamesir controller on my iphone and sometimes the sensitivity will jump so high that i cannot aim . It happens randomly. And i have to close the app and reopen it for it to work as normal. Im not sure if this affects other controllers . The sensitivity does not change in settings, and if i restore to default i still have the same problem. The only way to fix it is to restart the app..Version: 1.43001

The best mobile game I’ve ever playedBeen hard into mobile games for over 2 years now after selling my console and this is easily the best mobile game I’ve ever played. I was a huge fan of the 1st and 2nd game but for a mobile game it doesn’t get much better. There is games like R6 coming to mobile now but they feel like cheap copies of the main game. This feels like a perfect replication we’ll also adding some new features. Can’t wait for continued updates and seasons. Maybe upping the max level as time goes on or just additional end game content..Version: 1.40506
AmazingThe division in the palm of your hand just perfect!.Version: 1.36311.0

Great Game, Account Linking Needs FixHi, I started playing The Division Resurgence using my Apple ID, but I’d like to link or switch to my Ubisoft account to change my username. The game is really good, but this issue is confusing. Is there any way to transfer or link my progress to my Ubisoft account?.Version: 1.36311.0

Same same but differentHey guys! Same old Division with a little difference . If you played it on console you’d understand. Can’t give it away. If you’re a real division fan you will understand. Good story. Same old grind. Just a little bit different with classes and building equipment. All in all it’s enjoyable..Version: 1.33161.0
I did not expect it to be this goodThe gameplay, the graphics, the open world, the story, the side missions, the activities, the world events, pve solo play, pvpve dark zone, pvp domination, clans, the weapon mechanics and system, the gear mechanics and system, and the DPS, armor and health system are all phenomenal..Version: 1.33161.0

Bravo Ubisoft!.Version: 1.33161.0

Amazing Game - Still BuggyThis game is a terrific mobile adaptation of the division series and does a stand out job of feeling like a true premium mobile title. However, the game does crash a lot, and does not get you back to where you were once rejoined. Also, this game will be a “fremium” in the higher levels, I’d like to see money only help cosmetics..Version: 1.33161.0
I been waiting for this…It did not disappoint. You gotta run this thing with a beefy device or you will lag. Thankfully, Ubisoft lets you tweak it accordingly. I definitely recommend playing this with a controller attached to your iphone. My review might be biased since i been playing division since the first one came out and i love what they did here. It’s your typical looter shooter game done right. It fits my current lifestyle since i’m fairly busy most times. Jump in and jump out kind of gameplay. Thank you Ubisoft for making such a great game!!.Version: 1.33161.0
Good gameOne of the best games on mobile.Version: 1.33161.0
