Few month reviewI’ve been playing this game consistently for a few months now. I didn’t put any money into the game until two months in for a battlepass-esq thing. I was able to, and continue to progress, with no money added. I actually have a bunch of their in game currency (around a hundred+ dollars worth) just from doing daily’s regularly. That’s all to say that this game is a fun, idle type game that has little to no pay-to-win aspect within itself. It’s very entertaining and has a lot of progression. I’m getting close to endgame gameplay so I wish there were a few more things to do but their new additions with mini-games and such are a breath of fresh air. Overall, I’d give it a 5/5. The combat is satisfying, the progression is consistent, and overall it’s rather fun with a few layers of complexity. A bit lackluster with some disturbing legal obligationsStarting with the good, the graphics are pleasant and easy to look at for extended periods, the tutorial is actually useful, and you can technically play without paying anything. Now for the reality. The game is riddled with voluntary ads and when going to your arena, there’s piles of pop ups about all the different things you can buy. The game IN NO WAY IN ANY UNIVERSE IS WHAT YOU SEE ADVERTISED. Listen up well devs, advertising one product and providing a different one is not a particularly good idea. There’s also no logic to the combat. I fought a single beast while having 1000 more combat power and all my gladiators died. But moving to the second to last issue, if there is any issue with the game that requires legal action, you are forced into arbitration instead of being able to peruse the proper legal process. So rest assured that if the devs do something scuzzy or illegal, there’s no recourse except for an expensive private one that will favor the devs. Finally, you apparently own the rights to “user content” but cannot use it for anything and the devs can use it for everything. The game is functional, so it gets 3 stars, but it’s simply not what’s advertised and becomes very boring very quickly..MemnarcVersion: 1.10.149066

I found a bugWhen I started the game I did some of the tutorial and got to where I had to recruit another gladiator but I closed the game and opened again but I didn’t start where I left off but instead it said that there was now something I can click on to do the main missions but there was nothing there and I couldn’t click on the menus well not exactly It did work but only once a while but it didn’t even matter tho cuz I couldn’t click anything in the different menus I tried to delete the data to restart the game and also use the repair thing in the loading screen and nothing worked if u find some way to fix let me know so I can try the game cuz it seems fun.GamingDragon1738Version: 1.5.119669

Updated reviewWell they responded in a reasonable amount of time for a game breaking bug so kudos for that but an in-game mail could have saved weeks of frustration. All in all, it’s a really fun game for being an “idle” game. It’s always fun watching your gladiators actively fight (even with their questionable ai). The progression seems nicely paced so far. There are some times where you fall behind and have trouble progressing but it’s never stopped me for more than a day or two. It’s pretty ftp friendly so far. The ads are for double rewards and reviving gladiators if wanted. At no point are you ever forced forced to watch an ad. There’s no energy system. It’s a really good game and the only thing keeping me from giving it a perfect score are a collection of fairly small gripes. Dislike the greedy vibesI think the game is cool and is definitely a good time passer , but two things that are extremely grueling in this game and that is the greedyness of the in app purchases and the fact that we have to buy a specific number of ad skips instead of there being a one time charge every month for free skips … now I’m super glad that I’m able to get a lot of stuff by watching ads but there needs to be a better system to skip them and also a change in how long the ads are … I shouldn’t have to wait 30-40 seconds for the ad to finish plus another 15 seconds for it to load the X sign … that’s literally a whole minute just for ads that’s craziness . An absolute GEM.This game is absolutely fantastic as a time killer or as a game that can pull you in and you could play for hours on end. You can play battles basically endlessly, they don’t give you 3 battles every 4 hours to prevent you from playing and it’s easy to progress through the levels challenges aren’t difficult they keep the game fast and fun. Ads not loadingI’ve played this game continuously for about a month. Probably played it way more than my wife would like. I enjoy all the components of the game except the ads. While you do not have to watch the ads, they are very beneficial to advance faster in the game. The ads would not load almost every time I really needed them too. For example, reviving a new gladiator that I spent a lot of time trying to get and when trying to double the rewards from arenas or hunts. I also did not receive the final award for the 7 Day Carnival even though I completed it in time. It’s very frustrating to spend a lot of time working for something, only to lose it to a bug issue. In all honesty it’s actually good.I’ve played this game for about a month now and I love it. It takes a while to progress and I can see progress everyday. Just certain bugsGame has a great concept, and I’d say many people will enjoy it in the near future, but if there is something will make game die if not repaired soon enough is the loss of data. Worth a shotIts pretty decent for an idle game. Has some great ideas and the concept is cool. You end up having to watch a lot of ads for the gems, ads for gold boost for a couple minutes, ad for 3 minutes of exp boost. It starts getting annoying though as matchmaking frequently marches you with much higher opponents (as in I’m 130 and matched vs level 180 gladiators)….which I think is intentional so some of your fighters will die (forcing you to watch ads) You can get them back alive if….you guessed it…you watch another ad…once you get them back, they reset to level 0. Another bug foundWhen completing the battles during the arena. The tab to revive dead gladiators. It gives a choice to use a potion or watch an add. When your out of the revive potions. You have no choice but to watch the adds. When I do watch the adds. It closes the tab and goes to the home page of the game. I’ve lost many high tier troops trying to figure out good combinations for different matches. Also contacted support. Only to receive information I have confirmed on my own already. If your still reading this, just use your low tier troops For everything, endless it states. These battles will not effect your troop losses or gains. Which is only in expedition matches. GlitchI like the game a lot, but I lost a good gladiator when I went to watch an add to revive him and it froze. I had no other option other than to close the app and start it up again. To my dissatisfaction I saw after watching the video and it froze I lost a good gladiator (forgot the name, but had a bucket in his head with an axe stuck in the bucket). Also, when I log in, it shows my daily reward to receive, but I keep clicking it for hours and I don’t get to collect. It’s only my third day, and this happened yesterday too. It’s fun at the beginningWhen you first start playing it is pretty fun. You get gladiators and level them up and work to get heroes to lead them. You find out what gladiators work together for success. Then as you get deeper into the game you start to see issues. The first and biggest issue is why do I still get the weakest gladiators from my draws when I am over level forty and those gladiators are worthless to me in battle? The draws should improve as you level. Im not saying you should be drawing the best gladiators each time, but you also should not get 90% weak gladiators. The next thing that needs to be improved is when you are selecting your gladiators for battle you should be able to see there skill set. Gladiators get different skills as they level and some are better than others but you have no idea who is who when selecting them. Fun but..Its a fun game, you spend as much or as little time on it as you want! So far havent seen any pay walls but ive only been playing for a week or so. The only issue that keeps it from 5 stars is its stability. The game itself runs smooth with no issue, but the ads are so cheap (and boring) even with full bars in 5G, 95% of the time it crashs at the end of the ad which will make me lose my rewards or items that i boosted. One Bug But Otherwise FunI’m changing my review after a bug was fixed. Thank you developers. The game would crash when you went to upgrade your heroes and my guess is it has to do with the game being overwhelmed with having hundreds of gladiators in your “stable”. There should be a way to offload gladiators you’ll never use so you don’t end up having hundreds of them you’ll never use and it should be an option outside of the hero upgrade screen. Fun but kinda glitchyThis game is fun and definitely has some potential. I don’t feel like it’s a p2w game, considering you can do pretty well given enough play time. Awesome game. Found a major glitchI can’t accept my daily log in reward. It’s my 6th day of the week to log in. I should get 2 hero recruiting scrolls. Pretty good gameI like the way the game plays. Plenty to do. But the algorithms are flawed and there is no explanation of what type of gladiator matches up with another. Then the Heroes. Well they are pretty cool but they die waaay too quickly for what they cost. Further the game has road blocks which are not explained, where you run across two or more enemy and they destroy you even when your combat point far exceed theirs. I believe this is done to “money grab” or possibly to slow or stop progress and force a farming type mentality or pay thru the nose. Don’t get me wrong I really like this game, would give it five stars if not for this road block and the lack of response to missing items when you top an event. Great game but many bugsThe game and idea of the game is great. But this game has too many bugs. I would love to continue playing but the continuous lost of data. Also not being able to collect certain items from the arena shop after I have purchased it and diamond shop. Most of the time it goes through and then it bugs and I lose out on the item. I have lost multiple gladiators when switching them out on the training manager. When adding numerous gladiators some times it bugs out and I lose the gladiators. I have tried closing the app and see if the gladiator is in my roster but they are not. These are a few examples of the bugs. I would love to continue playing the game. But it is very frustrating losing items and gladiators. If the bugs are fixed I will continue playing the game. I have used money on the game. Great update but some issuesFantastic work am so happy with the update honestly and I would like to start by thanking you guys. Some problems though, for expeditions I have been forced to do super difficulty twice and I do not have the necessary power am trying to choose lower difficulty but I am unable to even before joining it. Second thing is am using a maxed gorefiend and maxed minuator on stage 190-5 and though i pass them in cp alot my heroes get one or two shoted and that means there must be a balancing issue on this stage because though I pass this stage power with huge gap i get killed in a second, that is all keep up the good work and thank you. Fun game butThis is a really fun game and would get more stars if it actually worked. The game is very unstable especially with the ad system. It crashes all the time for no reason at all. It’s constantly trying to reconnect to the server stops working, sometimes to the point my device is completely unresponsive until the battery dies and I can restart the device. The game is surprisingly fun for an idle game but until it’s fixed I guess the $4.99 I spent on it is just another case of wasted money on another mobile game that doesn’t work. I’ve been spending money on this game weekly but i don’t think I will be anymore. Please stop using magic the gathering for your ads. It freezes the game every time and doesn’t give you your rewards. I rebooted the game like 10 times and all I’m getting is the magic the gathering ad. It’s really annoying. Also Purchased the weekly subscription but it still plays ads for me. Also an issue with the language. I have no idea what any of the powerups in that one mode does. Needs major balance and updatesGame was fun until I hit colosseum 75. Now that I’m high level I’m at a stalemate. Literally everything I challenge beats me. Hero cards are too hard to come by so you can’t level them. Gladiator cards are just as hard. Once you unlock all gladiators, there is no where to go. I’ve unlocked hero’s from special events and there’s no way to level them. I can’t get card to upgrade them because arena and expedition are too difficult without upgraded cards. Last up date killed the gameI was enjoying this game up until the last update. The expedition is literally unplayable which causes you not to be able to upgrade your heroes. Once all of your recruited gladiators are killed your forced to fight with heroes who easily get destroyed by regular gladiators.I don’t know what the purpose is for heroes as they are much weaker than the regular gladiators which is stupid in my opinion. Don’t get investedDon’t pick any borderline fights either, sure you can watch an ad to revive people which seems like a good deal but I’ve now had 4 that I’ve been unable to revive because the game crashes when I try to watch an ad to revive. BugExperienced a big that prevents me from progressing through tutorial. 6 reviews before mine since yesterday that all describe the same thing. When it takes you to first battle in tutorial, gladiators avatar isn’t showing. To me it appears the “hero's” tab is open instead of the “gladiators” tab and that’s the issue, but since the game won’t allow you to tap anywhere outside the tutorial, you can’t switch tabs to select the avatar. Screen won’t loadI was playing the game for a few days and I loved the game. Scam with no supportSo upon entering the game there are the usual name changes and such that you can purchase with real life money. No biggie here, that in and of itself is pretty normal now a days. Except in this app it’s set up in such a way that it’s made to be extra easy to spend your currency unintentionally. And upon contacting support (if you accidentally tap twice instead of once, so good luck if you have any sort of a tremor, you can very easily just lose all your currency for literally nothing you can use in game) they acknowledge the problem and proceed to refund the currency…except not enough to do literally anything with.
