Excellent gameKairosoft never ceases to amaze with the games that they do. I have been a fan since I downloaded Game Dev Story. I have most of their other games and they have brought me joy over the years. Jumbo Airport Story is no different. It has the same cast of characters, and same feel as the other games. I am really glad they tackled the air travel sector. Playing this was a blast and am now going for my second attempt to implement some ideas I had since clearing it the first time. EhhhhFeel like this game is lacking that real airport feel. There is no real interaction with the planes. It’s more or less just you building up the inside of the airport. I liked the idea at first, but I feel for $6, it’s lacking quite a bit. This is more like a $1.99 game at most. I do like building the inside of the airport but I want more to do with the actual planes. Also there is no real way to change prices of stuff other than using items. I’d like to be able to set prices on certain things myself. I feel like this game has potential but just fell short. I’m hoping there will be future updates that will add more. I haven’t played the other games they’ve released but people seem to think they just slapped a skin on a previous game and labeled it airport. I expect more from a company than that. Really Fun But...Really great game that's easy to pickup but takes a little time to master. Addicting but leaves good points to put the game down and come back to it later. It is missing some quality of life improvements such as moving multiple items at once. This becomes particularly noticeable later in the game when you are adjusting your airport more often to fit more plane arrival spots while maximizing the scenery bonus to make the most money on each arrival. Would also be nice to know how much of a scenery bonus shops are getting when you are placing trees and such so you know where to maximize this aspect..TheStoicNEETVersion: 1.21

I find this game addictingEarning money and research points is fast. It’s easy to build facility popularity. It’s easy progressing to rank up and unlock visitors and other things too. Expanding is more flexible because you can adjust to your taste if you want a larger airport building for more facilities or a larger outside space for more aprons and runways. The game is so comfortable I never had to worry about my money going red. One cycle of 10 years feels short but it’s long enough to make me feel okay to want to start and New Game right away because the momentum is not gone yet..ArxesxivVersion: 1.21

Always Looking Forward to New GamesEnjoyed the newest Kairosoft release. I found that compared to the other Kairosoft releases, the first run ended pretty fast and I felt like I barely touched the surface so there’s definitely more to be done. Airport Story is most similar to World Cruise Story out of all the games - similar idea of going to other countries and having visitors who request/provide new content. Bizarre game from kairosoft this timeFeels more like a community center/mall builder with an airport taped on especially early game. Was looking forward to setting up an airport but felt with the size got more side lined in to building up a place for people to just visit and buy stuff without the other bells and whistles that make an airport. Turning into the same games but different lookBeen playing kairosoft games for several years and while the general gameplay loops are always similar there was always some gameplay mechanic that made the games unique. But lately it just feels like they are grabbing the mall/resort builder games and slapping different costs of paint on the same game. This is an airport game where the airport/planes function essentially like rooms and the main chunk of the game is just creating a mall for the people staying in the plane. Loved every minute!I’ve been playing Kairosoft games since Oh Edo Towns, and this is one of the best games that they’ve made so far. The pace of the game was really balanced and there were always things to look forward to doing and upgrading. Great GameI fell in love with the Kairosoft games when I first played Dev Story. Jumbo Airport Story is another loveable and addicting game in the series. My only complaint is the heavy focus on scenery to boost popularity. I felt plants became way too pricy the more you bought and it took up a lot of space in your airport, forcing design styles to maximize scenery points per shop. FunSimilar with other titles. The gameplay itself is pretty stellar, consistent and easy game flow. This particular game reminded me of hot springs 2, which unlike the original, wasn’t exactly a favorite of mine but this one is more fun to play. There’s no annoying negative effects from using items on areas which alone is a major plus. But the layout of the airport and how you invest in order to gain new items etc is the same. Good but some little too late.As everyone…. I’ve played all of Kairosoft games for years. This is a good game; however has some serious flaws. The two biggest are: unable to build walls (so customizing your airport is out of the question) and can’t fully rotate items (only can face down or left). This hinders the feel and look of your airport. Last big criticism… by the time you get “good” shops, etc. the game is just about over. Over all. Fun game. Loving this new kairosoftIt’s crazy to think I’ve been playing kairosoft games now since the first dungeon village, and own almost all there games, they had a bit of a rough bit with some of there games but it feels as if that’s in the past and there last few games really do feel special. What ever changed is for the better, I’ve been really looking forward to this one as soon as they posted about it on there twitter and I’ve gotta say, it really holds up. Very charming and a few quality of life features I didn’t even know I needed like when you click on a store a little thing will come up that lets you pick between everything on that one spot, in the past it could be annoying clicking in one spot for a bit until you get what you where trying to click, but now it’s easy and seamless, good job to who ever thought of that one. We have, yet again, another winnerThank you Kairosoft for another great game, and not using in-app purchases. The pay-once model is a big bonus for the vast majority of your games. And the Jumbo Airport story is right up there with the rest of them. Love the throwback of being able to develop what was probably the best airline aircraft. Fun to see it take off and land. You will meet your host of family visitors and characters from the other games, and entertain them with your airport design. The napping units are a game changer. Why don’t North America airports offer this? One thing could be done better, is the aircraft taxiing AI. Even though I’ve created two lanes, between the airport and the aprons, the AI refuses to use the inner lane, leaving airplanes to be significantly delayed getting to their runway. Not their best, but still fun when it doesn’t crashThe complexity and slow speed of this one can get a little annoying, but overall very fun. Update: I’ve come to enjoy the game, but twice now I’ve tried to lock the screen in their options menu and each time the game crashes. Significant bugsI typically love apps by this developer and this was, at the start, following that same path. I have found a significant bug in this game for when you receive your first jet, it never actually arrives. It parks with a “transporting” logo over it and never does anything.
