Game Dev Story+ App Comments & Reviews

Game Dev Story+ Positive Reviews

Very fun!The basic premise involves choosing a platform, a genre, and a thematic category for the game. The development process is broken up into three phases, Story-writing, Graphics, and Sound. It takes the basic premises described above and pile on a ton of strategic elements that really make the game a joy to play from a management standpoint. Outside of improving individual employees, each individual aspect of development has its own experience/level that can be developed, as your team becomes more experienced. A lot of the fun involves balancing making games, with training, with research while making sure there’s enough money until the next big hit. There’s also a very strong appeal to wanting to “make just one more game” or making new engines just to experiment with how new features impact sales. I had no issues with the basic control scheme, if the game hooks you in as it did with me, make sure you allocate enough time for play. It’s the perfect sort of game for mobile devices and there’s so much to do here in terms of developing personnel, researching items, and making games that there’s loads of replayability for quite a long time..Version: 2.39

Loads of Fun But Could Use TweaksI’ve played this game for many weeks, and I have to say it has a hard learning curve. There was a lack of direction at first and I wasn’t sure what some of the various stats of my characters actually accomplished. After trial and error, however, I began to find my success with the game, and grew a sudden appreciation for the challenge. It took time, but I got there. I enjoy the game for its simple complexity and its progression. The concept is fun and engaging. The moments I have where something clicks and I find ways to advance my company’s progress is exciting to experience. I just wish there were better instructions about the game. Sometimes I wish I could click on character stats and get details about it, or understand if some of the job titles of characters matter at times or not (for example, I have characters who have higher stats in sound than my sound engineer. Does them being a sound engineer carry more weight than the fact that their stat is lower? If not, should it?). I know there is a ‘manual’, but it’s 29 pages of short messages. Kind of clunky and vague at times because of the format. Overall, the game is fun, but can be challenging at first. Don’t give up, and try not to browse the web for quick answers. Makes the grind worth it..Version: 3.06

The concept is fun but the end game is garbage. The game is fun up until you understand how to play the game and/or get to the end game and depending on how good you are at the game that could be in a hours time. Once you get to the end game and start cranking out “Hall of Fame” games consistently there’s no real challenge or reason to keep playing. In fact once you start making Hall of Fame games it becomes more of a challenge to not make a game that goes into the HoF. And once you get to a certain point money becomes a non factor because there’s nothing to buy. You are just making money with nothing to really spend it on. All of That being said the real end goal is to make a “Game of the Year” game and that seems almost impossible. I have made 29 straight “Hall of Fame” Games, 15 straight games that have scored a perfect 40 rating all of which have made #1 on the top sales chart and I have yet to make a game that has gotten “Game of the year” instead the award is constantly given to a game with a name that’s a pun to a real world game. At a certain point it just felt like the game was against me and even if I would “beat” the game it just feels like it would have no substance to it. This game has potential to be addicting and great but it just falls on its face toward the back end when it should be more challenging and rewarding..Version: 2.36

Amazing Game BUT….. it could be BETTERAll around amazing game I do however think that it could use some extra touches like… 1. Add equipment including, chairs, PCs, desks, and other stuff like that and make them have upgradable stats that increase the performance of your employees (individual or not) BUT still keep the cosmetic stuff. 2. Add a larger variety of characters, or add like a little ticket thing that you can buy (not with real money) that can allow you to customize the employee of choice. 3. Add gear for employees that does things like, increase the chance of improvement success but decrease’s max power, increase one stat significantly but tragically decrease another, And other stuff similar. other than that the game is amazingly flawless and very enjoyable and I would be absolutely grateful if even one of these game mechanics are added to the game. And if the developers actually read this thank you for at least taking the time to read it and have a amazing day 👍.Version: 3.03

This game is great. But I’ve encountered a bug.Okay, so first things first, this game is awesome. I enjoy the art and the concept. I am addicted and I love your company. But, I’ve found a bug that makes my experience frustrating. So, I constantly save my progress, so I don’t have to start all over, right? And every time I decide to close the app, I make sure to save my game, and everything’s fine after that. But after I open the app to play again, I click “continue” and I click my save that I’ve saved earlier, and I’m back at the original office! This has happened 5 times, and each time I start over and say, “It’ll be fine, I’m a master of this game”. But this is time I was frustrated. I had hired a hacker, had 30 million in the bank, I had upgraded to the biggest office you can get, and I was working on my own console! All my other games I had saved didn’t get this far, and I was very disappointed in your game after I’ve been playing it for a year and had a nice experience. Yes, the app is updated to its most recent version, and my device is too. Please fix this bug so I can continue enjoying your app. Thank you..Version: 3.04

Slow Start but GoodGame is really slow at beginning as you start out as a nobody studio. I even had to dig into emergency funds at one point as I went negative. However few years after I started progressively making more money and I just managed to get all the good awards (there is an award for having the worse game and there’s a penalty for it) across the board at the 20th game award show. Once you get high enough you can make sequels to your games (they have to be Hall of Fame games to make a sequel) and even make your own console. I haven’t gotten to point of being able to make consoles yet as I can’t seem to find any hardware engineers to hire. I’d imagine this would be huge money as you no longer have to pay to license with another studios system. Instead they’ll have to pay you to make games on your system. Not sure how console creation works but hopefully it allows customization. I’ll try to remember to update review once I reach that point All in all I recommend trying the game out and getting past the beginning as that’s where the fun begins..Version: 3.01

Pretty good with little complaint. This game has been a good way to kill time. It is enjoyable even if a bit repetitious. The concept and execution are wonderfully done for a simple sim game, although I would have appreciated a better explanation of the stats/jobs. I appreciate the silly names for about everything from your employees to the gaming industry products. The release of consoles in game feels like a pretty good reflection of what we had in reality from the PC through some VR game systems. I even felt a bit of reality nudge when making games for systems whose real world analog failed. Not sure if it’s on purpose but when changing jobs the game won’t let me chose certain options, even when the character already has the job available. The same people always show up for interviews. I wouldn’t call them complaints but my only issue was with the game leaving you questionable options from hiring “booth babes” to being able to make games like “dating shooter”. A tiny bit of thought there wouldn’t hurt. Overall I’ll keep it on my phone to play more..Version: 3.05

Great gameThis really does give a better appreciation for how hard it is to create a good game. I love the style and thought process that went into this game. The only thing I wish it had was a better explanation of the different jobs. Maybe that’s an Easter egg to figure out that if you max out each job on one person it will unlock the hacker. Also I wish there was a way to increase max energy, first play through I didn’t fire anyone because the first people I got worked to make the company so big, but I could only get in the hall of fame. Training only gets you so far on dev points, and from the wiki it looks like different jobs give different development points. That being said I found this game addicting with a brush of nostalgia as i saw the game companies and their hardware changed to clever puns. I laughed at the Nintendo whoops. I’m glad the devs made this game with their flair and a high level of care. Cheers and thanks for reading.Version: 2.39

Important InfoThis game is pretty good, I got the “grand prize” pretty quickly which is when it asked me to give a review. The game is fun and is 100% worth checking out to see if your interested in it. One big flaw though is that it doesn’t tell you how to get the jobs like producer, director, hardware engineer, and hacker. Which if you don’t know how to get them the game is pretty limited because I was never ever able to find a hardware engineer for higher. The game also doesn’t tell you that if you higher someone who had prior work experience as a hardware engineer then they still can’t make a console because it’s not there current job, and they don’t normally have the requirements to become a hardware engineer. So if your going to play this game which is 100% recommend for you to do, just make sure you search up a few things like how to create the “hidden” careers. Because I would have never known that you need to level the employees up because I felt it gave small boosts to do so..Version: 3.06

Awesome game! But a bit outdatedI really enjoy game dev games, and have played a few so far. Although this game was amazing and addictive, it was a tid bit outdated and unrealistic. The game genres sometimes didnt match up even tho it should. Such as mixing dungeon and adventure together into a game; this has always been a famous game genre, yet the game always says this was not a good combination like what? The prices to buy licenses to produce for a new console were wayyyy too expensive. By the time I could afford making games for the cheapest console, 6 different new gens had already been released. And it doesent matter how well you make a game in the beginning, it will always be a trash game until you make a perfect game by todays standards. This is overall still a really amazing game with just a fee annoyances. Although there are better dev games out there, this one I Highly recommand!.Version: 2.42

I’m just going to get straight to the point. The saving is trash. The reason the first thing I say that, is just so you don’t have to read this whole thing just to know what is wrong with it. Don’t get me wrong, this game is really fun. I love the concept, and how this really works. But, when you play a game- and this isn’t just this game, when you play any game, it applies. When you play a game, you wanna play it for a little bit, get some progress, and get off. And this is what I am doing, getting progress for a while. But, when I want to get off to get a glass of tea or something, I save, and then turn off my phone. However when I get back-! I get back on, and then when I press the continue button, and press the button, and it brings me back to the first office, all the way at year 1, month 1, week 1. I don’t know whether this is just where I have multiple saves, or if it’s the game. Please fix, or tell me what I am doing wrong. Thank you..Version: 2.31

5 Star RelationshipThis game is fun. I give it 5 stars, it has kept me entertained for awhile. Just like every game I will eventually grow bored of the game and wonder why I still have it in the “games” folder… week after week it will sit there and week after week I will look at it and say “that was a fun game, I won’t delete it because I’ll probably play it again at some point”.. Then it will sit in my “games” folder long enough where I eventually delete it. Months or years later I will be bored once again looking for new games and download it once more. It’s a vicious cycle, but it seems to happen more often than not with many different good games. It’s a toxic relationship with good memories - Love it, hate it, leave it, and eventually come back to it and do it all over… 5 stars ⭐️.Version: 3.01

Nice Game, Could Do with Some TweaksInteresting concept of pairing different game styles to see which work out or not. There is also a good desire to build the best team to get to a perfect 40 score for a game, and then win the Game of the Year Award. However: 1. The game is not open ended enough. It needs to go beyond Y19 or so 2. When developing the games, instead of the creative phases (graphics, sound) being randomize, what about a mini-game? 3. Some of the text and event dialogue are overly repetitive and could be removed. 4. Increase the complexity and rewards of the contracts; at a certain point, they are irrelevant to the game. 5. The characters you can get through hiring seems fixed, so after a while, the hiring screen becomes useless since you get to see the same characters you rejected in prior auditions. 6. The options for Gamedex seem limited - why not allow us to pick the games on show to influence how people interact with the booth, or allow a sneak peak of the next game, etc? 7. Should there be a way to permanently increase the Power of a character? 8. Would be good to allow the Job Titles to have influence over the creative process, for example, a Director / Producer attached to the graphics and sound team, Lead Programmer to the programming team, … 9. Why not allow multiple projects / teams to be developed in parallel?.Version: 2.42

Don't bother if you've played the originalI suppose I can't complain since this game was functionally free, but I can't help but feel let down as the "+" in the title led me to believe that this was an expansion or update on the original Game Dev Story that came out over a decade ago. It is not. It is exactly the same as the original in every way, MAYBE some graphical improvement but I genuinely couldn't tell whether or not the graphics had changed or had just been upscaled for today's larger screens. If you already own the original, this app provides nothing. Don't bother. If you don't own the original, this is a decent distraction. It doesn't offer much replay value as the gameplay is incredibly shallow and once you know the "correct" combinations you can effectively print unlimited money on demand, but the hours of experimenting can be fun and addictive. Worth the download if you've never played this decade old game before..Version: 2.39

Great game if your busy but want to be able to not fall behindTime management is great, whenever you look away it practically pauses for you by someone approaching your desk to notify you of the develpoment, as soon as you pay more attention to hiring good employees for each role and choosing which sections to focus your money in ( scenario writers and graphic writers help a lot early on) for the maximum returns the game speeds up a lot. I recommend getting the best employees early on. It feels like all the good talent disappears or i got them all. Im still not sure. Hackers are goat. Tldr: game will pause often so if your busy it wont leave you behind. Take your time and just spend your money on good employees early, its worth more than spending on game design early. Free employees pump out gold too..Version: 3.04

Great up to a certain pointThe game is really challenging and addicting at first. However, once you create your first ‘Hall Of Fame’ game, basically every game after that will be in the HoF, and it’s not difficult to create a smash hit anymore. Also, money really becomes no object once you reach a certain level of success as well. So the game kind of gets to this plateau where there is no challenge anymore. For me that only took about 3 hours of play. It’s disappointing because the game is incredible and really fun, but I just wish that it were expanded more so that it continues to be a challenge as you gain more and more success. Also, I’m pretty sure it’s impossible to beat the game, like to win the grand prize at the awards. I’ve had over 10 games that were a perfect 40 rating and I still never win. Maybe the game developers will see this review and add onto the game to extend the fun!.Version: 3.01

Great game worth a play through!I have been addicted to this game for a while now, just won a GOTY (game of the year) while playing! I just wish there was a little more content as it can get a little repetitive towards the end of the game(around year 16) also there are a lot of hidden stats and caps on employees I wish I could see better so I knew how to maximize my profits even more! Thankfully there is a wiki and more online to try to help with that but overall it’s a very simple game but can get equally complex the more you play and try to get everything in the game. Definitely worth a play through at least once to the 20 year mark but I’ve been replaying it a lot just to try to get my achievements and secret characters!.Version: 3.06

Fun but missing so much…This game is a great way to pass the time and there’s no need to pay for progress or wait AFK which is amazing and really refreshing from other tycoons. However, it’s pretty basic and simple after a few years in. The prices jump so high so fast that unless you’re an expert with a few tries and saves you won’t be able to experience the entire game. To my knowledge, you can’t name your games and it makes the game a lot less immersive to see Game #8 has performed well and takes away a lot of creativity. There should be different game modes for different types of players i.e endless mode where you keep developing until you can’t or rush mode to see how much you can make in x amount of years. The game is very fast paced and can make it hard to actually enjoy and experience the game..Version: 2.31

Good but needs workLol this game is awesome just won the grand prize finally now going to try and figure out creating my own system. I’m not sure how big my staff can be yet but if the max is only 8 then that needs to improve. Also I wish I could see more than 32 previous games maybe favorite one or something to revisit the idea on another system or different timing. The previous games I would also like to be able to click on and see what my combination was. There’s a lot of combinations which is awesome and it will tell you at the bottom if it’s a good combo although that doesn’t matter so much if you have a big enough company because basically anything you put out will be a hit just can’t continue to make bad games. The sequel functionality is pretty awesome as well..Version: 3.06

Really recommendOkay i’m not gonna lie I usually don’t leave any reviews on games this is actually my first but this game is actually really cool and addicting i’m not sure if they added Ps3 consoles and up but i think they should really do so adding new consoles and they should make it where other business can make there own consoles that are not made in real life for more competition and maybe add in more features to the game but back to my review this game is highly addictive it is really fun and has a lot to do for a simple game i really enjoy playing this to pass the time and just to play for the fun of it i highly recommend to everyone to download even if it doesn’t look appealing at first i promise it is worth it!.Version: 3.06

No Need to Wait or go AFK!A lot of the recent tycoon games cause you to wait for things to finish, or go afk while you do something. However Game Dev Story+ makes it so that the entire time you’re involved! The waiting times are exciting because you need to do things between them, making the game extremely addictive, and able to be played for long amounts of time… There is also excellent replay value, as even when you get very famous and rich, you can always go back to the beginning and now you will know more about how everything works making it somewhat more enjoyable for a second, third, or even fourth play through! Game Dev Story+ is a must-play for the Apple Arcade!!!.Version: 2.27

Best Sim Game On iPhone. Period.Simply put, this game is an incredible addition to Apple Arcade, and helping bolster what was seemingly a very soft lineup/catalog of games. Everything about this game is great: the pacing, the mechanics, the nods to popular video games, hardware, developers, and manufacturers; the level of content and combinations to discover is seeming endless, the amount of achievements gives the player something to work toward, and you can save your game pretty much at any given point to be able to pause and pick it up later, which you most definitely will. Give this game a shot. If you love sim games, it may end up being your new favorite mobile game..Version: 3.06

Fun and relaxing! It’s a really fun game I like the idea, and the game play is very simple which is nice for relaxing. It did take me a little while to fully understand how to play, and I do wish there was a way for the workers to level up on their own. Say like with experience as in the longer they work the the more points they get. The only other thing I am saddened by is that there’s no way to specifically buy the bonuses, and even if you don’t buy anything the prices still go up. Even though it says the price only increases when you buy them. Overall all though I think given the simplicity of the game it’s really fun, and I’ve found it to be very addictive! I can’t wait to see what this game has in store for updates!.Version: 3.00

Stop Progressing at a Certain PointThis game is actually pretty enjoyable. I’ve gotten sucked in for sure! The decision making in what games to create is pretty engaging and the different consoles with licensing create a decent goal based challenge. This game could do with some update to end game or progressing the game the next step. Once you reach a full office with max stats, it becomes very repetitive. Further expansion past this point is needed. The only other change I’d enjoy is more diversity in popularity. Some game fads come and go and it would be great to see this happen in the game over the course of 20+ in game years. Maybe a new movie comes out involving ogres that spikes the popularity of those games for a year or two. Something to change it up..Version: 2.39

Well this game was not what I expectedIn the beginning, you find it a little bit of a struggle, about half way through things smooth out and you start getting your bearings. Expect to make hundreds of games and fail a few of them. After a while the satisfaction grows higher as you start receiving rewards, have a fan base and even get to make your own console to make games on that. Don’t skip on licensing a new console but don’t live ve all of them and stay above 10% As a last note there aren’t any bugs so far as I could tell and the rng is in your favor so you are having good fun and plenty of Easter eggs to top it off!.Version: 2.42

This game is actually really funThis game is actually really fun and actually kind of thought provoking. I’ve been played for the past few days and I have a hard time putting it down. It is fast paced and always presents a good challenge. I hope the devs aren’t done with this game and continue to make it better. Also maybe leave a few bits of information to help show what certain perks do. I have good characters with job types but some work better than others who should do “better”. Besides that if you want a fun game to keep you entertained through the boring parts of the day I defiantly recommend this!!.Version: 3.01

This is AWESOME!You must get this game so much! I have always liked, to think, about myself developing video games, and I was searching through Apple Arcade, when I was bored, and I saw this game, looked at the rating and review, is said “ok, let’s try this game”. And when I played this game, at first I was confused, but then I got better, the problem is sometime it never saves your progress, which was sad 😢, but I just started over. I don’t know where to find an engineer, and I looked through the whole hiring things, but couldn’t find one. Thanks for this game. CorriganPlayz In geometry dash, my account name is Carnado! Bye!.Version: 3.05

Addicting until it’s notThis game has some really interesting mechanics that, at least at first, make it really exciting to play. Eventually, though, you get to a point where you’re just cranking out games without worrying about money and consistently getting in the hall of fame / #1 selling game for that week (it took me about two days to get to that point, but I was also playing quite a bit so it may vary). After that, there’s not much incentive to keep playing other than getting the grand prize and upgrading your employees (which also doesn’t take too much longer). I would recommend this game, but just be aware that it won’t last forever :).Version: 3.01

Could use some extra polishThis game is very fun and I had a great time playing it. There are only a few things that feel off. The overall game could have just used a little more work. All the buttons feel clunky and the music worked 25% of the time. The style of the game was weird and many parts of it were weird, but maybe that was the appeal of the game. They could also make the combinations of games more varied. I really liked all of the little nods to older consoles and I enjoyed the secrets like that. Overall this game is great and is very fun. The few things that would change would make the game very complete. Thanks for reading!.Version: 3.06

Short and AwesomeI’m not going to write a long reviews as I usually never leave one and it is to much work. However this game blew me away with the mechanics and how everything is run in the game. It is built beautifully so you could play over time and enjoy it. Or personally someone like me have been grinding to get the best scores for myself and trying out different combinations. I don’t even play app games much anymore, but this game got me hooked. I feel like there are always changes in the game depending on how you make decisions with your own money and that was cool. 5/5 game download it believe me..Version: 3.05

I think that this game is completely worth itI have Apple Arcade because my family needed more iCloud storage, this was a benefit. I started looking at the games and I saw Game Dev Story, I have played games like Stardew valley in the past, this game’s graphics are similar. After downloading I could tell that this game was one that I would enjoy playing, and I have played it for around a month now. It’s a great game to play because of the lack of in-app purchases, if you’re like me and you are exploring Apple Arcade, this game is fun to play “and I have recommended it to all my coworkers” That’s all.Version: 3.04

A++++ Game 🤩 and Ideas 💡We need more games like this what if! you had a basement for the hackers and hardware engineers? AND WHAT IF! you had the ability to choose a priority for the game, like sound or creativity? AND WHAT IFFFF! you could change the avatar of the boss when you first start the game? AND AND WHAT IF! you could change the outfits they wore to office, and they would only change when they ran out of energy? AND AND AND WHAT IF! you could have a display case you could go to to see your trophies for each game, and you could customize the display case? AND AND AND- ok i’m done :D.Version: 3.04

Issue with auto save and too complex…To be honest, it’s been months since I’ve started this game, but it’s been so hard to make a good game. My reviews are never above 6 (per judge). Anyways, no genre match works. Ever. Maybe I haven’t leveled up my employees enough, or some other things, but I’ve never made a game with over 20 points overall. Also, there is a bug with auto save that says “Y10 M1 W4” (year 10 month 1 week 4) but takes me back to year 9, where I just finished game 15. It was a golf marathon. Not my best choice, but it was cheap. And I was on a low budget. I really wish you guys could fix that bug. thanks!.Version: 3.06

Amazing, just one problem(This is my first time making a review, so stick with me. Ok?) this game is great, the basic idea is that you choose a type and genre. Then you get points in: fun, creativity, graphics, and sound. And then there is hiring, salaries, and awards, so it has a lot of business sin type stuff in it. But my only problem is the game of the year award, I have made a lot of games with high points in all the categories and hade a perfect 40 critic review, and I still didn’t get it, please make it easier. Other than that, the game’s amazing..Version: 3.06

Fun but…It is fun to pretend, however this game needs some attention. I have the best possible staff, a couple of them should be able to have their role changed to a hardware engineer but I cannot change it. I cannot develop my own console because of it. There is another game dev game out there that I recommend you take some notes from, Game Dev Tycoon. I honestly love most pieces of your game, but it is as if you forgot to finish making it before you released it. In certain menus there are just blank spaces that one can highlight but not select anything. It’s weird. I passed the 20th year and that’s just it? No more progression? Come on man!.Version: 2.39

Great Game, Annoying SoundsSo I love the concept here. And for the most part, it’s fleshed out pretty brilliantly. The 16-bit style of art feels right at home in this business simulator. Most of the writing seems on point- though I did notice some glaring errors. I would recommend hiring a native speaker or somebody that has a degree in English to really polish off the text portion of the game. The music is high in quality, but low in content. I’d recommend crafting a better soundtrack, but the ability to mute it and play my own music while the game runs kind of makes it a moot point. Beyond that, the only gripe I have it with the achievement sound. Every time you accomplish ANYTHING- from completing a new game to having an article written about your company, there’s a Legend-of-Zelda-esque music byte that plays for about 10 seconds. The first 10 or so times it’s fine, but after that it gets to be SO annoying. Please change or shorten this sound, devs. All in all, great game! Thanks for making it!.Version: 3.00

Who knew Game Development could be so fun!I've been playing this for about a year now. I have to say, I really enjoy how your own little digital gaming company can start from honest beginnings being contracted for other things, untill it's finally able to create it's first game. Then from licensing games from console to console untill your finally able to create your company's own home console. It really gives a different perspective for the gaming industry (even though this game originally came out in the late 90's). I'd definitely recommend..Version: 3.06

Solid Fun Game been playing for hoursThe game is fun and casual. I work at a software company so this is an entertaining simulation on running a gaming studio. I hope they continue to build out the game. They could add a lot more such as M&E and the pros and cons that go with it. Decision to go public or entertain a VC to raise more capital and how much of your business you trade away. More types of technical talent such as a product engineer which could decrease the amount of bugs and improve the fun factor etc. Overall great game and hope to see t it continue to develop..Version: 3.06

I Want to Love It…So, to start off, I’m not sure how many know this, but this is a really old game. Like, late 90s old. I’m happy to see it in Arcade with its many, many expansions. As my title states, I want to love this game, but what stops me is the absolutely ludicrous license prices for new platforms. I’m in year 18 and I can’t afford a single license. Maybe I didn’t play properly and used too much of my money, but that shouldn’t essentially break the game long game. I have about $20k in my bank and the closest license is $25k, but it’s a 10 year old platform so it’s about to be discontinued. The next closest is $50k. It just zaps the fun out of it for me..Version: 2.31

Addictive but needs more choicesReally enjoyed it. In fact it was hard to put down. But after hitting year 12 which can be done in a few hours I was already starting to struggle to make it to year 20 which is when the “game ends.” I am definitely going to play to year 20 to see what happens but then with its current choice and content options it’s probably a game I’d delete off my phone because I’ve seen everything there is to see and don’t want to put forth the effort of another play through..Version: 2.39

Simple but funA sim game done well. Fairly simple/ easy to understand mechanics, and well paced. My only criticism is that all of the “secret” employees are male or non-human. It also seems like everyone is white or looks white? I found myself with a team of mostly white men, which as a real life tech worker felt a little too realistic in a bad way. The other thing is that the genres and types are a bit arbitrary and strange…combos that would work in real life don’t do well, and games that wouldn’t do well in real life are “amazing”. But that’s a minor complaint, especially because it adds some (more) oddball humor..Version: 3.06

Uh… 10A Rare Masterpiece! Sonny and Capcorn wish they had games this elite. All jokes aside, after two full play throughs, I can say that I thoroughly enjoy this little game. It’s so fun trying to motivate and train your staff and keep the flow humming. Closer to the end when you start getting totals over 100 in each category is so satisfying knowing that you could barely clear 20 in the beginning. Just enough complexity to challenge you but not so much that it will turn you off. Great game start to finish. A love letter to retro gaming and games in general. Hat’s off!.Version: 3.04

Bad Choices Bad GrindYou can really tell this game used to heavily rely on microtransactions. Apple Arcade doesn’t do enough. They removed the in app purchases but not the ridiculous grind….Why are critics absolutely insane with their scores. Your team could have lots of “fun” and make a game that sells really well. I’ll top the charts at #5 and the scores from critics are 4/10 or less??? Also why do the staff that don’t work on graphics come up to me to add more graphics to the game with really low chances of success. Why don’t my sound engineers come to me and ask to increase sound, why do the writers come up to ask that instead. Really bad game script in this game..Version: 3.06

ExcellentThe fun graphics, catchy music, and the pick-up-and-play ease of this game makes it so much fun. It has some challenge to be sure, balancing the numbers employ ease and their abilities, making wise use of your money, discovering and perfecting all of the different game types and genres, etc. but it is also simple enough that anyone could pick this up and have a great time playing for hours. I find myself getting lost in this game and just completely mesmerized by how much fun it is. Simply put, I love it and can’t get enough..Version: 3.03

Best game simulator i have every playedIve been known about this game since i was in high school and was always into it. I took time off playing every once in a while of time however its only because of the different devices i had this game on. I love the creativity the creators put into this game and also let us be wild running through our individuality in this game to make all types of video games. The best portable game ive ever played and its so addicting, i love it man. Thank you for creating such an amazing piece of art and history..Version: 3.01

Addicted, aware, but not regrettingHonest this game is so great for the genre it is, one of those games that make you wish it was never ending. Different routes you can go for reply value, fun character names, limited but grind-able advancement, and just a tinge of RNjesus that get under your skin at times without making you curse the age in which you were born. Basically I got it one day for fun, proceeded to play it deep untill the next morning despite having priorities and knowing this game had a save feature… this is that kind of game lol..Version: 3.03

Love the game but— HelpI’m giving this game 4 stars because theres a bug that the game is not saved (even when I saved it like 10 times) it takes me back to a certain point in the game. I had collected $17,000 and saved the game and took me back to $3,000. All the games I made were lost. SO PLEASE FIX! I can’t play the game while this isn’t fixed, because I don’t want to lose my progress all over again. This bug is something recently that did not happen before, but I hoped it’s fixed. Other than that, the game is well made and I totally recommend it!!.Version: 3.06

Fun GameThis game is cute & fun. keeps you busy & time passes pretty fast so you’re always doing something. the only complaints i have is 1. the directions are a little confusing sometimes because of how it’s worded, & i think the game is a little broken/glitchy. and then 2. it’s a little repetitive. after playing the game for a while, i found myself just doing the same thing over & over again so i’m unfortunately getting kind of bored of this game. i’ve only been playing for like 3 days & im already losing interest, which is unfortunate because it truly does have potential & is very very cute..Version: 3.06

Too addicting please send helpHoly moly guacamole, I can’t stop playing this I need help. It’s just too good of a game..Version: 3.06

<3Yay.Version: 3.06

AwesomeGreat game to spend time on and is also quite addicting..Version: 3.06

Great fun way to kill some timeThis game is SUPER fun! I’ve found myself going from killing time to playing all night. There’s plenty of tools on the internet to help you progress in this game. One thing I would like to see is maybe new office upgrades. Even though 8 staff members is the limit, more office themes can be a good way to make the current one stale. The themes in the game now aren’t really that great because the layout of the office stays the same. I also think it would be cool if the other companies continued pumping out consoles after year 20..Version: 3.06

GoodIt’s very fun.Version: 3.06

AmazingSuper addicting.Version: 3.06

Good gameI’m too addicted to this game because this game is amazing.Version: 3.06

Beautiful!Been playing for 6 hours straight!.Version: 3.06

Won the grand prizeI won the grand prize so I’m writing a review. I like this game though it’s not bad..Version: 3.06

Addicting but a Little RepetitiveThe first few hours are some of the most fun I’ve had in a mobile game in a while. But it does get a bit repetitive after a bit, and you kind of hit your maximum abilities in the game quite a long time before the end, so after you stop progressing it becomes a little dull. But still overall a very fun game!.Version: 3.06

游戏挺简单的但是好玩呀!不错不错.Version: 3.06

Great GameFor Starters They didn’t give you any tutorial because you just had to read all of it manually for yourself, i didn’t even knew how to make my own console without getting a material engineer Staff, So i just had search for it on YouTube only to find out you need to switch you’re employees job while level up their Job section on which they work for. In the end I became addicted to the game, so much that I spend 3 weeks on it without even knowing! The game itself is like it’s title says You make games with the help of your employees. The catch? They have special events both positif and négatif, such as losing points of your game that you’re developing because ‘‘There was a Black out while developing the game’’ it is annoying that you make a lot of points for your game only to be downgrade by a Négatif special event. The positif special event one? Sometimes Either the in-game news will write a article that’ll get you a small amount of fans, or they’ll boost the sales before/ after your game release. So yeah, I’m giving it 4 stars because the devs just abandoned you and let you figure out the rest by yourself Overall great game.Version: 3.06
