My Favorite GameThis simple addictive game is the only game I play every day. The latest update made it truly perfect in every way. When I first stumbled across it I immediately fell in love with the cute and delicious looking cakes and pies, and the fun puzzle mechanics. There’s something immensely satisfying about completing and clearing a cake. Up until recently my only complaint was that once I unlocked a new cake, an old one was removed, never to be seen again, and when there were no new cakes left, I was stuck with the latest set of cakes. BUT! I reached out to the developer and asked if they could make an update allowing us to choose our cakes from previously unlocked ones and ❤️❤️❤️❤️they did it 😍😍😍!!!! Now I truly have NO COMPLAINTS and love every aspect of this game. I’m even cool with paying the $10 for the ad-free version. I’m happy to spend a ONE TIME FEE for literally hours of enjoyment every day, every week. I only hope now that they don’t break this beautiful, perfect game. All other games I grew to love got ruined by greedy money-grab tactics, but this simple, absolutely wonderful game truly has it all. It’s relaxing, it stretches my brain without stressing me out, and when I am craving sugar it actually helps calm my cravings LOL. I bought the ad-free version and did not regret it. I don’t mind watching an ad to save a custom cake set, although it took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out that it won’t save your custom set if you don’t have active cakes on your board, no matter how many ads you watch. Fun but has some problemsThis game is a great way to pass the time. The animation is satisfying and colorful, it’s easy to play and engaging. However it seems like there is an ad every five seconds and it is the same ones repeated over and over. Everything needs ads to be unlocked if you don’t wish to pay money and I understand beggars can’t be choosers but the sheer amount of ads surpasses that of any other game that I have downloaded. Also every ad seems to have particularly tricky x’s. I’m used to them being concealed/ moved but they’re clear and half cut off/missing. Recently I was trying to change my cake set up and use some eliminated cakes. It said I needed to watch an ad to save the change. Note this was just 1 cake out of multiple that I wanted to switch. I’m mildly annoyed but I understand the game has to make money somehow. I watch the video and go back to switch another cake but it just keeps saying I need to save. At first I thought maybe you can only change one but after watching the directions and observing the reset button I realized it hadn’t even saved the single one. I watched over three videos and still nothing. There is just too many little things piling up that bother me about this app in order for me to give it five stars. Best time passerOne of the best Simple games I have ever played, I’ve been playing for a while now and the new update honestly saved this game for me. I collected all the cakes and was just focused on beating my score since there was nothing left to do. The update added more cakes so you’ll know what I’ll be doing for a while. The newer graphics are gorgeous. I love the smooth merging. I’m glad this game is still being looked after and not just made as a one hit wonder for games. I definitely recommend this game! Although the only downside I have with this game is to remove ads it’s 10$. Maybe if it was 5$ I’d consider it but seeing as how small the game is and how quick it is to beat 10$ is just too much. BONKERS amount of game in a simple ads appI was really hoping to find an app that would just let me watch ads uninterrupted, but this one insists on interrupting my ad-viewing with games. I have to make up to five moves in order to unlock the next round of ads. Why?? In all seriousness, that’s what this game feels like - an ads app that sprinkled some game play intermittently in between. And the “up to five moves” is no joke - you’re just drowning in ads. And if you want to fix it. It’ll cost you a Hamilton. It’s just not worth it. UPDATE: now it comes with full, 30-second ads every five moves!!! Irritatingly, you still have to play a bit in order to see the ads. But they’re a FULL 30 SECONDS!! And you have to watch THE WHOLE THING!! Loads of fun but too much adsIt’s a really fun and entertaining game. There’s just too many ads. Almost every 40 seconds to a minute of gameplay, there’s an ad. Luckily some of the ads are just 5 seconds but there are ads that are 30 seconds long. Most of the ads look interesting though so I’ve downloaded quite a few. I’m surprised that I kept playing the game although it had so much ads. I just enjoy it so I am still playing the game despite the ads. I understand that they have to make money and ads are probably the most money making method. I don’t mind being introduced to new fun games. Money starting at level 16The more coins you purchase, the more it will cost to move, shatter or discard the current available slices, rather than an affordable static price for each type. Buyer beware! The most annoying feature of this game is the frequency and length of ads. Developers have still not figured out that to engage your customers, ads need to be 15 seconds or less, or interactive not just demonstrative if longer. Ads should be much less frequent than in between every level and randomly in the middle of a level to keep players from deleting the game in disgust. Since my last writing, at the beginning levels, the ads are mercifully shorter, and interestingly varied, but after level 16, the ad duration gets longer. Ads are irritatingly frequent-about every 20 moves or so. The cost of moving one piece, discarding current choices or clearing one location keeps increasing every time you use that option. Thankfully, coins and tokens are reasonably inexpensive except for the ability to relocate a piece on the board, as previously mentioned. Hate to say it, but it’s riggedImmediately turn off WiFi to play this or ya get hit with ads by the minute and they ain’t the 5-15 sec ones anymore. It’s 45 and then 5 more after a 15 pause, so over a min. After a few moves in a round, the game will give u double plates till u run out of room. It’ll be a clear board with like 2 plates and 6 moves ends ur round. That’s blatant trickery to make u spend money on hammers and stuff to keep the round going. I noticed it at about level 9. GlitchesI do like this game, but for over a week now it has been so frustrating…it’s taking away my new special cake pieces that I earn or just not giving them to me as well as the other rewards from the spin, they’re just not there…I’ll even get a full one to play with then it will disappear. Big fan, but could use some critical changes.Been playing for a good long time now, and I’m happy to say it’s eventually updated with the features I’d like to see, like the ability to swap your cake load outs and such. Would be much nicer to be able to change the whole load out before watching the ad, but the option alone was needed. I’ve collected all the cakes at this point except one, and it looks like some sort of pansy cake. I don’t know if that’s a bug or some secret achievement thing to get but seeing the grey spot in my collection bugs me. The option to disable ads should def be cheaper, and i would like the coins to be cheaper as well, but such is capitalism. One thing I think could be fun is instead of the infinite option at the top when you complete your collection and go for score, it might instead choose a random cake from your collection and swap out the cakes like when you first unlocked it. Like, but ads are too longI like this game a lot, but the ads are way too long and they play the same ad over and over again (Royal Match). It’s enough to make you nutty seeing the same ad continually. I don’t mind watching some ads to play a game, but this game has way too many long ads. The ad goes on forever. I will put up with it for a little while, because I really enjoy the game, but then I finally can’t do it anymore and go on to play another one of my games. In addition there is a new ad for a game called Splashlearn, and every time it plays the ad freezes up and I have to restart and I loose any rewards points I would have earned. AddictiveReally enjoying playing this addictive puzzler! The mechanism of merging pieces is unique from other games I’ve tried, and it just keeps pulling me back in. One suggestion: I’d love to either, as another reviewer requested, be able to customize which images get used OR simply cycle back through eliminated images once I’ve unlocked them all - it seems like a little bit of a waste to not use the earlier graphics any longer once I unlock the later ones, and changing things up would make it just that little bit more addictive..EtitamehVersion: 2.7.0

Like the game, ton of bugsI play this game daily (on iOS). I have had several instances where the game will not have ‘updates’ even though I know it does (I play with friends). I lack new cakes and the thing is- I bought no ads. So if I delete it and redownload to get the updates, it won’t restore my no ads purchases and I essentially have to restart to do that. It also does not keep anything I win from spinners or opening chests. I don’t get the special cakes I should have (even if I’ve opened 2 pieces at least ten times) and cakes go away at random (rainbow cake, pancakes). Wonderful simple gameI’m am writing this review because I have quite enjoyed this game. But the biggest reason I am giving it five stars, is because this game is one of the very few that didn’t lie about what the game was in the ads. Pretty Good / DifferentI like this game a lot, but I too have the stuck cake problem. I’ve unlocked all of them but they say they are still locked. I agree with others that it would be nice to pick your own cakes to use, as I’m getting tired of these same ones. Buggy AI and not enough cakesI ran out of cakes so quickly so i guess i’ll be resetting my progress just to feel something again. On the other hand, i ran into an issue twice where when i unlocked a new cake, it wouldn’t get rid of the plates at the bottom with the obsolete cake, dooming my run. Not badI used to have another cake or a game on my phone and it used to drain all my battery and show me so many different ads and I had to pay for everything and it wouldn’t let me play my music but this one is nice and peaceful. Greedy UpdateWas a cool game. Was 5 stars but dropping the stars due to the last update. The new “journey mode” has puzzles that take only a few seconds to solve before moving along the path. Wouldn’t be an issue and I assume they’ll get more difficult as you go, but there’s an ad after every level. Played the new update and started counting- 23 ads in the first 3-4 minutes. I like itIt’s simple, and a little addicting to play. My only suggestion would be to make it a little easier to progress. Once a cake is eliminated, it should stay eliminated. It’s almost impossible to progress once you’ve reached the watermelon cake, because there are too many options and very little space to place them. Fun at firstThis was really fun at first. But I feel like the new cakes came really fast and my old ones were eliminated really fast. Progress bug?I tried playing yesterday and saw that my score was messed up. When I clicked the button to play it immediately said I had unlocked another cake, but I know I wasn’t close yet. Few Things….1) Being forced to watch an ad every 5-6 moves really sucks even if we get five coins for it. There is no way in hell that I’m paying $13.99 to get rid of them though. That’s ridiculous. 2) Regarding the newest update; there’s a glitch. I’m happy to start getting new cakes again but with the last three I unlocked, it eliminated the SAME cake that was already eliminated some time ago. Best game I ever deletedI totally love this game. So satisfying and addictive. I spent many an hour matching the cute cakes and watching them disappear, earning new cakes, trying to beat my high score. But I feel so taken advantage of that today I’m deleting it. People have mentioned the high ad content in other reviews. This is no joke. This game has at least 10x more ads than any game I’ve ever downloaded. One as about every 75 seconds. It’s incredibly expensive ($10) to opt out of ads. I’ve only paid that much for really complex games. $10 for a matching game seems outrageously high. Additionally, the game drains my phone battery like crazy and makes my phone really hot; like no game I’ve ever played before. Even on “battery saver” mode it’s only marginally better and if I play the game I know I’ll have to charge my phone as soon as I’m done. As others have also stated, there’s an option to save your choice of cakes out of the ones that you’ve earned, which doesn’t work. It’s a great idea because sometimes you’ll have several cakes the same color and want to switch one out. In order to save your choices you have to watch an ad (of course), but even after the ad runs your selections are not saved. Additionally, not often, but sometimes, the game totally freezes and the only way to continue is to quit and restart the game. This totally resets you to the beginning, so any progress you made is lost, which can be frustrating if you were approaching your high score. I kept playing even with all the frustrations for quite a while, but I’m done. It really feels like the game creators don’t care about the game experience at all, only about getting revenue for ads..Adi253Version: 3.1.1

Wow, way too many ads!!First off I love this game and I’ve never really written a review. but this drives me insane and this is what is making me write this review. Wish I didn’t have to delete ….I actually really enjoyed playing this game. It’s a challenge but still offers the repetitive noises and vibrations that help you relax. It does an “ad break” every so many minutes and that was annoying, but like I said, really enjoyed playing the game so I was tolerant of the ads. Of course you can purchase the ad free version, but that’s not something I do. The most disappointing part was that every time I play the game my phone begins to freeze up. Locked up my phone and iPadThe major takeaway is that it not only crashed and temporarily locked up my phone (I couldn’t even get to the close app screen), but it sucked my battery from 68% to 35% in a mere 20 minutes with no other apps open. Since closing the game about 20 minutes ago, I’m still at 35%. There’s something REALLY fishy about that. The game would be cute if it were not so EXTREMELY ad heavy. I spent more time trying to exit a “skipped” ad than playing. On some ads, after pressing skip, it goes to wait 5 or the ad store then back to wait before it finally lets you out. Then you get about 5 moves before another ad pops up. There’s so much negativity in how the ads function that playing the game feels more like punishment than entertainment, and there’s no point in telling you what I like about the game itself. Too hard- too many adsIn airplane mode you don’t get ads but as soon as your turn it off there’s ads every 30 seconds. And even when there aren’t ads there’s pop ups in the middle of you trying to play to promote other parts of the game. Th first few levels are easy enough but when you reach a certain point you physically cannot beat it without watching ads to get the super hammer to resume where you left off. The highest points I managed was 700 something before failing every time because I had airplane mode on to keep ads off. Bugs! Paid for Ad removal but didn’t work.Frustrating. Loved this game at first and decided to splurge and pay the $10 for ad removal. Then hit the unexpected infinity wall where you’ll never progress and no more cakes will be unlocked. SO disappointed. Not as advertised, and plain badI usually don’t complain about ads… and I get it, it’s a free game where ad revenue is probably the only money they’d get from this… but I only played for less than 5 minutes and faced about 3-4 ads, each one being about 30 seconds. Needs work, buggy ads & poor planningThis game on the baseline is great, addicting puzzle game to pass the time. Problems include the adventure mode; levels of the game you have to clear that should work for this game but if you have a limited number of moves, why make the cakes you get so rng? It shouldn’t take 20 minutes to 3 star one level. Not only do you have to deal with not getting the cakes you want, the amount of cakes is also random, so you can play a level perfectly and still lose do to terrible rng that only allows you to win on some levels 2% of the time with ads on every retry. Imagine playing Angry Birds where the levels have birds you can’t see until they’re in your slingshot and they are also random each time, The levels you would need certain birds at certain times would take too many resets to keep interest. Speaking of ads the bugginess and length of som of these ads make me just close out of the app and reopen. You get ads just by playing the game which is to be expected, a little too often but its bearable, well sort of. You also get ads if you get a text you want to check or anything else on your phone, when you come back there is an ad. Biggest bug and oversight is: These. Ads. Stack. If you had an ad break before you switch apps, congratulations you have another you have to watch on top of that ad, so you get condition just to close the app whenever you need to check something. Another issue with them is are used to be all around five seconds before you can skip them. Now, some could be half a minute with no skip it all, with the added bonus of bringing you to the ad’s app page twice before actually getting back to the game, which again just conditions you to close out the app when ads start, which of course makes this app a chore to play now. Fix neededThis is the 3rd time I’ve installed this app. I know the ads pay for the app (which is fine) but 1st—install @ about level 4 the ads started freezing, restart game and lose the item I was watching the add for Deleted @ lvl 10. 2nd install— had to watch 2-4 videos for 2 out of 3 items I wanted. Deleted and reinstalled a few days later 3rd— not getting the “X” to exit ads & return to game, I timed the last 2 ads and after waiting 3 minutes for “X” I exited game and re-entered lost item & had to try again got the “X” in approximately 1 minute then 2nd ad, 1 minute later I got the item. However you literally cannot play for more than 60 seconds before getting a pop up ad, and the latest update forces you to use data to power these pop up ads, otherwise you get even more frequent pop ups telling you to pay for no ads. Ads award you +5 coins, but coins do not buy anything but power ups in game and half the time they make you watch an ad for them instead of using coins anyway. Unbearably excessive adsThe game itself is actually a cool past time, but unfortunately the ads not only are constant but also slow down your device to a crawl. As the ads pile up it'll make your brand new m2 ipad pro feel like an iPhone 4. A lot of potentialI like the concept but the greed of the developer makes the game too hard. 1) you have to buy the ad blocker because as others have said you spend 2X as much time watching ads than playing the game. Game is great but glitchesThe game is great however it has a large glitch and requires the app to be deleted and reinstalled in order to play again. Glitches: 1. In the main window, you match cakes to acquire the next colour cake. However, it will just repeatedly only give you one colour of cakes to match over and over again with no other colours and you will never be able to build your score up to get to the other cake levels. Once you delete and reinstall the app - it works again. But again it will eventually glitch within a day or 2 and you’re back to deleting and reinstalling it. This exact glitch has happened 4 times in the week since I downloaded the game so its not just a one-off sort of thing. 2. In the challenges - you will go to move a cake and not be able to do so.
