This game changed my life2 days ago my wife left me, I lost my job, my car was stolen, and I was mugged and left for dead in the street like a dog. I've been spending the nights on the couch of my ex-wife's step father who is constantly having loud orgies with street vagrants that keep me awake all hours of the night. I heard about this app on TMOS, and decided to download it to a phone that I asked to borrow from one of the step dad's regulars. When the he/she comes over I put some headphones on and can be completely engrossed in the game and taken away to a magical world of numbers and fireworks. When I started I wasn't much of a numbers man and couldn't count too good, but on easy I was able to learn how to count. I recently was able to get a job at a bank and now I'm completely surrounded by hot babes 24-3! I can't afford hot babes 7 days a week. I just want to thank Glow Burst and TMOS for changing my life..Version: 4.0
Infuriating, goddammit.I'm giving this game 5 stars, not because I like it, but because it's infuriating. I don't know if you enjoy being irritated at your own idiocy, like I do, but I seem to be something of a masochist. Yes, I know -8 is less than 11. I'm not stupid, Todd! You jerk. I find myself playing this game gripping my phone with white knuckles, the world around me fading into silence as I concentrate with all my might, my child calling my name, my husband asking me something. I don't hear them. I'm gone. I went to college! Why am I failing at this?!?! I could blame my gender. Math is hard...for girls... But if I can calculate how many units/hour/kilogram to run on a heparin drip for my 78.5 kg pulmonary embolism patient, why can't I do this? This stupid, addictive, infuriatingly simple game? Glow burst cured my hemorrhoids!!!I was looking for something to kill the time during my painful process of elimination and Glowburst was the cure. The colorful graphics, catchy tune, and swipe interaction hand me bopping around on the bowl. Before long the cranial exercises of the game focused my sphincter muscles back into shape and I was as they say "sitting pretty". The game is such a pleasure that I find myself playing it when ever I can, on my long beltway commutes, during a spin class and even while soaking in the tub. Keeping the mind sharp (or not)I'm loving this game for two reasons-- my father swears it's helping to sharpening his brain a bit by having to quickly think about sequencing numbers (I do think there's some logic to that), which I love. And for me, well, forget the numbers... I could just stay on the title screen bursting those bubbles all day!! Having a parent suffer through some of his "getting older" challenges is scary, but knowing he's helping himself with games like this is comforting for this daughter.
