Useful & easyI have this App on my iPhone and iPad and use it to track expenses for different accounts and use it like a bank for my kids. Works great and I love the widget so I can see what each has to spend while we're out. Easy Spend allowed me to make a backup & email it with opening instructions in the message. I restored it all on my phone in seconds without any trouble. None of my other apps restored so easily without having to have a cloud account of some kind. Prefer this way much more! What Happened?I’ve used this app for years. Last month everything was great. Today, I have no idea how to add an expense in the app on my iPad. On my iPhone, there’s a + at the bottom of the screen. For some reason, it’s no longer there on my iPad so I’m unable to add today’s expense. HELP! I’m changing to five stars. The problem has been fixed and I’m able to use the app on my iPad again. Excellent budgeting softwarePreviously I was using YNAB to keep track of my budget. Unfortunately, that software switched to subscription with powerful features that I did not want. If I stayed with YNAB I would have had to pay annually $80. All I wanted was budgeting software that allows me to keep track of my income and expenses in a easy to understand format. Worth every penny and then some!I was very impressed after downloading the app. It is quick and easy to use while I'm on the go! It takes just seconds to input a new expense. Works great for meI have PCS and PTSD and keeping track of the current month budget along 3 months forward eases my stress. The app allows me to that plus I am able to track each individual bill by setting them up additional accounts. I have very little money at the end of each month so keeping track of where my money goes and what my balance is is very important to me. Not useable with one handWell! The application has all the basic features one would need to manage its budget. However, while using I have few concerns which if resolved would make this application great: 1. The application cannot be used with one hand, basic button for menu, save transaction are on the top while the bottom of the screen is completely blank. Would suggest that action buttons of every type should be brought to bottom of screen. 2. Transfer amount from one account to another is hidden in some menu. It should be on screen with + - buttons. 3. Lastly, and this one is annoying me the most is that I cannot import data from other budget application. Not quite ready for use!!I had great hopes for this app and it would be useful if you only use it on 1 device. It does allow sync with Dropbox but the process costs .99 which is not much but it does not work. You can't define the default account once you I set them up and it designates the Home account as the default and then you can't delete it. With some work on the part of the developer this could be a very simple useful app but I have far too low a frustration tolerance to deal with this. I have spent hours trying to make it record transactions in several accounts and them sync them to my wife's iPhone and both our iPads. It just will not work. The Dropbox syncing feature (which is a PAID add-on) is simply broken. The devs support has been lacklustre to say the least and problems persist update after update. I just want a simple and reliable way to track my day-to-day spending habits. It's not complicated. I've reset the app countless times and "restoring" from Dropbox has NEVER worked as advertised despite endlessly tinkering with settings and communicating with the dev team exactly what the problems are and what steps I am taking to rectify the issues. It the app bugs out (as it has been doing) and I have to delete and install every few months and spend a weekend manually re-entering info from my banking records - you know, the stuff that the PAID backup "feature" is supposed to do - than this app is useless to me. If the devs took a bit more interest in ensuring their app runs smoothly Easy Spend would be a decent piece of software. (The harsh buzzing sound effect needs to go and the currency abbreviations should match the international standard but this is minor stuff compared to critical features chronically breaking.) Fancy looks, lousy interface, ridiculous operationsThis good looking but immensely impractical app offers no help whatsoever; so good luck finding out how to input and modify values ! And if your mother tongue is not English, you're again out of luck, since you won't be able to use any accented characters for the categories : the programmers expressly block what they call "special" characters, even though they make a big show of offering currencies for many, many countries. Ridiculous and stupid, in this day and age. To sum up my appreciation, let me just point out that I got this app for free, but I want my money back...
