People are Confusing this appThis is an amazing app I’ve won and lost money on here but a lot of people don’t understand how it works so I’m going to explain it for you!! If you deposit ten dollars and put the ten on a sport and you win two dollars back meaning you have 12 dollars total. You would only be able to withdraw 2 dollars of that 10 dollars and the reason is because the funds have not fully settled the money came from a bank account not from your winnings so you have to wait the normal time you would if you made any other transfer it’s typically 1-3 business days for that money to fully settle. Perfect, But stressfulPolymarket is actually pretty good, especially because they give you $10 bonus cash to start betting with, you can use that bonus cash to place bets, grow it if you make good predictions, and then withdraw the money, which is a big plus, the platform is easy to use, and feels legit, that said, it can be really stressful, especially when a bit is about to lose, and you’re watching your money disappear. Portfolio value miscalculationHad a clean portfolio with no wagers or trades active or pending nor any open orders, sounds like there was some sort of miscomputation at some hour in the middle of the night that left mine and some other users portfolio and cash values of such less than it was left at the night before. False AdvertisingI actually liked using the app, more than the others I have to be honest, but I was told via Text AND online advertising that I would receive $50 in bonus funds when I deposited at signup. Honest ReviewFun app, betting feels more like stock trading. But the updates on scores and time left in the game are constantly wrong. If you’re not double checking the live score from another source I feel like you’d make some bad risks you wouldn’t otherwise. It gives you the “money line” based on the users on this app, for the game or event you are looking at. Not the Vegas odds. So if a lot of people are betting towards a big name or big player they look like the favorite but the actual stats, injuries suspensions, points attempts assists turnovers etc are not all taken into consideration BUT that’s what makes this app more fun to play on. You’re betting against people not stats. A Solid App But Needs WorkThe app has some issues including but not limited to loading issues, especially during busy periods, when you place limit orders your balance does not account for active unfilled orders. The website does not allow for Apple sign in. I created my account via the app through Apple and used the Hide My Email feature. Because of this I cannot sign into my account through web interface. Perfect App for VotersThis app is super simplistic and straight to the point. I really enjoy the “Trend” page that showcases events happening LIVE that affect the election. I do have a suggestion/improvement however, widgets would be amazing. They will not allow you to withdrawal unless you lose all your money . (worst customer service ever)(Use Kalshi instead) they are currently not allowing me to withdraw my $3000. When I first started using poly market, I thought it was great .. with almost instant withdrawals, and good odds(like most prediction, markets, i.e. Kalshi) but if you withdrawal when you are up consistently, they will decline your attempted withdrawals and say it is your bank (even after I sent them proof that my bank did not decline anything (I had used the same card to withdraw with no issues before I started winning consistently) After sending screenshot after screenshot of proof that it wasn’t my bank they claimed that I needed to try again..( I tried over 100 times and still was unsuccessful. After many days of waiting for a reply from support, they responded when it was 4 o’clock in the morning and closed the ticket as resolved once I didn’t reply in 30 minutes( I obviously was asleep) they closed the ticket. I then Restarted the multiple day timer before I hear back from support . As soon as you have a positive balance, they will hold you hostage in hopes that you can lose your money before you have a chance to withdraw, they will try every way to delay you from withdrawing and will allow you to place bets in hopes of you losing it all . Account on hold won’t let me withdraw my own money11 days ago my account was put on hold for a kyc check which is supposed to take minutes to go through and done by ai systems. If it’s not done automatically it is done manually from a Polymarket agent and is supposed to take 3-5 days too verify your identity or smooth over any other inconsistency’s that might of flagged the verification in the first place. I have deposited thousands into my account never a problem, but the moment my portfolio was over 2000 my account gets flagged and I’m put through a kyc check nothing crazy right so I patiently wait a couple days hoping I have to maybe send more proof of id or whatever and I can withdraw my money but I have not been reached out by anyone for proof of anything I have emailed agents looking for help they answer me tell me thank you for waiting and we will loop in people too help you and nothing changes. ScamI waited approximately two months on the waiting list to get on this app which I totally get, left me under the impression that this app was hot and worth to wait. Long story short they recently had some type of update or really in my opinion, system crash that caused a lot of people‘s money to go into limbo. It has now been approximately two months that I have been trying to get the little money I had in my account out and they refused to give it to me. In attempts to withdraw the money, they suspended my account mind you my banking info as well as debit cards are all in my name and match. I’ve been speaking to a representative Lamar, not to say he’s a bad person, but I haven’t made any progress after repeatedly sending in all the documentation they have requested nearly 6 times. Disappointed In PolyMarketFirst off PM started off as a good app. I used it mainly for Sports Betting and after a few months to my surprised my account was suspended for what they termed as suspicious activity. I was dumbfounded because I knew I didn’t do anything that wasn’t legit. To make a long story short after weeks and weeks they lifted the suspension but they would never tell me what they thought I did wrong. They would take forever to reply back which made everything very frustrating. For my troubles they sent me a $50 prepaid visa which was nice but they would never give me any comments of why my account was shut down. Once they unbanned me I was frustrated and withdrew my money to simply put in a different betting app and they said it can take up to 4 business days to get your money back. They then took forever again and I finally saw my money after I believe double the time they promised. AwfulThis is the most honest review you’re ever gonna get. I might be biased because I couldn’t get past this, but this app is downright awful. I was never able to get past registration. Would not recommendI downloaded this app as an alternative to Kalshi since I heard good things about it. I ended up getting 10 dollars in free play and ran it up to 75. I tried withdrawing the money right away and the app says that it will take in between 1-4 days to process. It’s been more than a week since the withdrawal process was initiated and I haven’t had any bank deposit of my winnings. I tried contacting support but it sends me only to their artificial intelligence that states that someone will look over the emails I send. I have sent at least 6 emails and have only talked to their ai response and haven’t heard anything from human support. This is ridiculous. Terrible Customer Service and holding winnings hostageIf you end up winning a lot, they will suspend your account, literally refuse to explain why they have suspended you, and then ask you for the same documentation over and over again to frustrate you. Support is basically nonexistent, and the only place to get help seems to be a Discord server run by moderators who act like they’re 12. On top of that, there are bugs almost every day. LaggyNot an app I recommend over other sports betting and prediction market apps good for the free cash but it is not somewhere I would ever put my money on it has too much lag when you try to cash-out of make plays. They also can have complete shutdowns of their servers recently they had issues with cash-outs and being able to even see your portfolio making it impossible to cash-out. I attempted to cash-out while winning and the app just loaded until my bet was losing and completely shut down and ability to cash-out or even see my bets. I buy in low and sell during spikes but the app won’t let you sell at the spike and when it’s low it won’t let you buy in at the low either. Why Share About An App I Haven’t Used?I downloaded this app and applied for the account. Once applied for the account it tells me that I’m #449,697 on the waitlist. Account put on hold with STILL no explanationNot only will they gladly let you deposit and then lock your account/funds and not let you withdraw, but they do not answer support chats, emails, or twitter dms AT ALL! Glitching on Purpose?Upon initially downloading the Polymarket app, it was working great, 2 or 3 updates came within a couple days and now when you open the app, you can see the correct score for a second, then it flashes and removes points in tennis matches. You can see a less delayed correct score on Google. I lost all of my account funds in less than a few hours before I realized they were doing this. MisleadingThis app is extremely misleading, I would just stick to Kalshi. Polymarket ultimately displayed incorrect information incorrect scores. They claim that they do instant cash outs yet you wait days in order to receive your funds if you. Misleading addsThey claim to have less fees and bigger payouts than traditional sportsbooks. That is not true whatsoever. You can actually switch from the price to a regular + or - odds just like DraftKings, fandule etc. The only difference is potentially more opportunity to cash out your bets mid game. I actually prefer the sportsbooks because there are so many more options to bet on such as player props.
