Hopeful but uncertain so farThey seem to have done a better job designing The interface to present to see a lot of information relatively easily, mainly for my local area but also a bit for surrounding regions. And so far they seem to be more accurate in their forecasts than the horrible in-Accu-weather, which I’ve been using for sometime. The ads are only slightly annoying as opposed to the horrendous scrolling ads that some apps, all of which I have deleted, use. I am actually considering trying out the modest prices for eliminating the ads to see if that seems worthwhile. In addition to my review some weeks later is that this is the first app that I’ve been willing to pay for the premium version, which I thought reasonably priced and it actually seems worthwhile..LeeBearSFVersion: 2022.4.1

Good app, but way to many ads!!!!!!I like everything about your app and I understand that you have to have ads to keep it free. I also understand that you get rid of the ads, if you purchase the ad free version. But frankly, I’m 74 years old and on Social Security and I can’t afford even the $1.99 a month, to get rid of the ads, thanks to my medical bills and prescriptions. But you have way more ads than most other weather apps and frankly, you could get rid of half of them and your app would be less annoying. I know that you won’t do this! I know that you could care less about my financial situation, but I’d be willing to bet that I’m not the only person that feels this way about your constant repeating of your ads. Because of this, I have removed your app from my Home Screen and occasionally I will check your app out, to see if you have have cut back on the amount of ads, that you shove down our throats. As I said earlier, I like your app, but the constant repeating of ads, is annoying and is it really needed? I don’t think so. Weather and Radar works perfectly all over the worldI have used this wonderful app to keep abreast of weather both in the US and India for about 5 years. It’s a German company that has produced a very accurate and reliable app that draws an a comprehensive (and personalised) radar map of cloud formations, rain and snow which prepares me to face the weather every day. I became a subscriber within a few months of use because the annual subscription is just under $10 annually. Love it!I must say I have only had this app for a few days and so far the weather in my area has not had much of a change ( it’s summer in Texas ) but I absolutely love the detailed weather information available on your site! Pretty decent.Honestly I’ve bounced around a bit lately with weather applications. I can’t seem to find exactly what I like and here, this is a pretty good one. One thing I’d like to see change is the widget. Remove the icon and put about a 3 day forecast. Granted I’ve only installed this a couple days ago. I’m trying to stick with it, though I like having news on the main screen and the overall look is very appealing. In an old school way somehow. Overall very good. While its accurate….While this app does appear to give good information, and accurate, I have written and complained that there is always a notification, number one in red, like it’s a warning but when I actually open the app there is nothing there to be warned about. I have grown weary of tapping on this and it does not go away. I think every time you open the app when you see this warning it’s a plus for this app. Therefore I am going to delete it as I find this false warning annoying. Just wanted more from the weather radar sitesI came across your weather website by accident. Really, I was at my wits end using other weather websites with radar that didn’t always show what was really happening. Once I clicked on your website, I eliminated all the other weather websites from all my devices. The premium weatherI try my best to keep up with the weather in my area and check it out many times a day however due to very poor network service including cellular signal service many times I can only view a blank screen or a dog with a sad look on his face that said something went wrong. Other times I find out that it will rain for the next 12 hours. I do receive many notifications of rain on it’s way so hurry up and finish your work or you may get wet..Olc1943Version: 2024.13

Predicts TOO MUCH RAIN!!!I grew sick and tired of The Weather Channel app crashing and freezing almost every time I used it, so after looking at the alternatives I downloaded W&R. I love the format, layout and smooth performance. BUT… in the past two weeks it has predicted consistently and in some cases ridiculously high probabilities of rain over Brooklyn, on days when only the briefest shower, if anything at all, fell on us!! Most accurateI find your forecasts to be more accurate than most others. We live in a small village near Guadalajara and it seems that most services use Guadalajara as a basis for weather predictions in our area. However, we live on Lake Chapala which is about 35 miles from Guadalajara and there is a mountain range between there and our village. That, combined with the effects of the lake makes the weather quite different here. We appreciate your app and will continue using it as our go to weather app in the future. Best weather app - data and visual presentationWeather & Radar USA is the first I go to and also the best weather app I use. Information presented is very detailed but visually easy to comprehend. Love the Forecast, 14 day high and low temperature graph. Also, Forecast Today is broken into the next four - 6 hr. Increments, Morning, Afternoon, Evening and Night. More Than OthersEvery weather app has basic features. This one does a better job of putting them on the same page so that you don’t have to look all over. As with any new app the more you use it the easier it becomes to go to just what your looking for. For me: wind speed, direction; length of day, Temperature in short intervals all add up to a quicker review of what to expect as I use it to navigate small vessels during sea training exercises. The radar also is different and has new ways of observing better than others. About the only thing lacking from my perspective is tides, and wave wave periods, but its easy to get what I need quickly and then go to another app for that information to get a complete weather observation in less than 5 minutes.Davy toucanVersion: 2021.19

I like Weather & RadarSince we lost Dark Sky I have been looking for a replacement. Imtried Apple's Weather but it has bugs and isn't what Apple promised... to incorporate Dark Sky into Apple Weather. Then I came across Weather & Radar. I have found my go to weather app! Not localized enough.Former WU user, looking for new app. This one has the enhanced satellite I was looking for, but the current and future weather is based on my local airport weather, which is in a different forecast zone and is about 10m miles away. That matters in the Rocky Mountains. Also, the temp doesn’t update very quickly. NOAA weather online has the new temp for the airport at 11:00, but even at 11:10, this app has not updated. Also, the map, while showing where I am located, does not show town names other than the Major Radar sites. Weather Radar PerfomanceI live in Gainesville, N.Florida. We get a lot of storms varying from piddly stuff to high wind thunderstorms to full-blown hurricanes. We RELY on Weather Radar & I can’t recall a time they were actually wrong. Sometimes we got a bit more or less than expected but it darn sure wasn’t much. VERY ACCURATEA weather app that’s up-to-the-minute and accurate as well. The UI is pleasing and detailed, also. I recommend this to anyone looking for the above. My one gripe with this app is its algorithm’s location accuracy when I manually search for a location and it inserts a town or city that happens to have the same name, but it isn’t the one I want; removing the wrong location is something I haven’t found the FAQs for anywhere. There’s no „edit” option to remove the location on the Notifications list. It would be wonderful as well if Canada wasn’t treated as an afterthought and the weather for my city (Greater Vancouver, BC) varies drastically from wherever you happen to be; the climate in the Pacific Northwest is mercurial and meteorologist’s worst nightmare because of this. The inhabitants layer our clothing instead of carrying umbrellas- I have literally stepped out of the rain and into beautiful sunlight in the MIDDLE of an intersection. That wasn’t a joke. Can no longer trustI was trusting this weather app to be close, I didn’t expect exact temperatures. Well this morning we had a light frost and it was 33 out and the app is indicating 36 and forecasted 38 for a low last night. I will loose part of my garden to the light frost is the result that will force me to delete this app from my devices. I paid for it and will loose that small investment but I will switch. I’ve noticed this app has had some 5-8 degree differences than reality and not just in one location as I’ve been in the UP of Michigan, central Indiana, central Illinois, and the Gulf of Mexico. I’ve reported several issues with lackadaisical responses from support. No feedback….done with app, don’t recommend anymore.Wldlif7Version: 2024.20

Disappointing… cancelled.I was really rooting for this app, but it’s inaccuracies, especially on temperatures has turned me off. It’s wrong 90% of the time for me at my location. I’m having a hard time understanding it, when literally every other app I check is either right on, or ± 1° off. My Weather & Radar app, (paid subscription), is 10° off so much of the time, I can guess what the real temp is, simply by adding 10 to their reading! I’ve also emailed them about the issue, weeks ago, but no response. I’m only ½ way thru the year’s subscription, so maybe it will get better. Weather app is corrupt!Read and read and read and nothing is said that it is paid subscription till one has made choices and lead to believe it is a free app and then they freakin want you fill out all your info before they hit you with how much it costs. You have to fill crap out before they tell you the price then when you hit cancel the stupid app charges your account when one tries to back out of the app. This crap is so not user friendly or app worthy. Was hopeful, but not anymoreWhy is there no way to set my location to where my home is actually at? I initially set up this app with Port Charlotte, FL as my location, which is correct. But instead, every time I open up the app it is showing me as North Port, FL which is 20-25 minutes away from me. It could be raining in North Port, but not here. This kind of variation in the location is not accurate, so how can the weather be accurate? Not the bestThis app used to be great. I don’t know what’s happened, but I can’t count on it anymore. For example, it’s currently quite windy. But for this day and time the app shows no wind at all however, if I look at the afternoon as a whole rather than the time of day, it shows wind gusts up to 30 miles an hour. So which is it? If I look at every hour for the afternoon, there’s no wind icon shown, and yes, I have them selected to show, but when I look on the afternoon as a whole it’s 30 miles an hour in gusts! come on guys!.Does it matter? Too much clutter, not easy to useCan’t figure out how to only get local weather updates and storm alerts—I have the settings on, but never get severe weather alerts. Unfortunately instead of these kinds of alerts that I actually need from my weather app, my watch is always buzzing with some random sensationalized story about occurrences (e.g., “bridge swept away in massive flood!”) in places that are nowhere near my area.
