Not too badThis app has most every feature I was looking for. I can balance both my checking and savings accounts with ease. The app is fast when you open it and it works well as I navigate it. My only issues with this app are: 1. I have to click it multiple times to get it to open and stay open. It crashes many times before it will will stay open (I do have my phone updated to latest operating system) 2. Even though I do not categorize my expenses this app makes me go thru the extra step of selecting an expense category which takes me more time to log an expense. I wish you would make this app where this feature can be turned off 3. The ads are annoying but….I am using it for free.Rocola2Version: 5.1

Best one for me!I’ve tried various checkbook registers and they all were lacking. I hit the jackpot with this one. I can track multiple accounts at a glance and in-putting my info is simple and easy. I would like to see more spending categories such as medical, pharmacy, etc. My biggest drawback and reason for 4 stars was the fact I had downloaded this app to my iPad thinking it would be easier to enter information since its for the iPad and iPhone. What it didn’t do was sync to my iPhone after spending a long time entering all my info!! I contacted customer service and was told that no at this time those two won’t sync. Paper vs electronicThis is the first time I have tried using a paperless check register. I think I am going to like it. I am very uncomfortable not being able to copy it. Right now I do a monthly register for each account. I am not sure that it isn’t much easier to do it by hand. I like knowing I have something I can make a copy of. This app is easy to use, does all of the math for you, allows you to keep track of categories for tax purposes. You can keep track of several accounts (checking,savings, credit union, pension plans and so on). It would be perfect if you could make monthly hard copies of the account not just a transaction..Mamakat810Version: 4.0.1

Poor SupportThis app worked reasonably well for me for about a year, but I have since migrated to using a running spreadsheet on my computer. My biggest problem was that I kept getting notices that I had to watch videos in order to earn the ability to make additional entries, even though I paid for the pro version. The last straw came when I couldn’t even press the button to watch the darn video, so was left with no way to continue my bookkeeping. I also got no response from the developer when I sent questions about the app via email. Good customer serviceWe had a problem with the last update that upgrades app to work with IOS 12. We found that we were having issues with monthly totals in several accounts. Contacted customer service via email and after several correspondence emails it was determined that any transactions entered on the last day of each month were not calculated for that month. It was suggested we change those transaction to a day earlier, which we did and it now calculates properly. They indicated the fix would be implemented on the next upgrade..TnhelmVersion: 4.0

Best account tracking appI tried several different bank account apps and this is the best one by far! I can track multiple accounts, organize entries by category and subcategory. I can set up recurring payments. It also allows taking photos of checks or receipts, whatever image you want to attach to an entry. There is also an area to make a note on the entry. The layout is very user friendly and makes budgeting easy. It also saves in the cloud so I can access it on my phone and iPad. I’m not sure what the full version offers but the free version is excellent!!.HgykmaVersion: 4.0.1

Efficient and easy to useI tried out many similar free app offerings and found this one to be the simplest to use, but with enough depth of features to make it a great choice for me for the long haul. I plan to upgrade to the paid version once I’m sure it will meet all my needs. I like having a way to keep track of various accounts (Cash, expenses, carve-out rainy day fund, etc.) without having to set up the linkage to the bank, credit card companies, etc. it’s a really well designed app!!! Pretty Handy App!I got tired of the Not Sufficient Funds charges from my bank because I kept forgetting to save all my paper receipts and write everything in my checkbook register everyday. This app makes it SO easy! Yay! I like the automatic clearing of transactions and therefore the automatic balance adjustments after adding a new transaction. I also like the notes feature so you can better specify what you’re spending. The WiFi export feature blows my mind! Meets all of my needsThis app has all the features I need including taking pictures of checks or receipts to go along with the transactions. I like that you can make your own categories, though some of the categories can be confusing like instead of “electricity bill” under utilities it says “electronics” which isn’t quite the same lol but you can always make your own category I guess. Great convenientMy favorite checkbook register App. Simply checking. Tracks my spending. Shows where to budget. I can keep track of which transactions clear. Automatically subtracts transaction. I know exactly how much money I have on hand in my bank. Remembers reoccurring transactions, so I can click on it instead of typing it every month. Good but could be betterSo far I like the app with the exception of not being able to split transactions into multiple categories (groceries, personal care, etc) - unless I missed it. As it is now, I have to enter in multiple separate transactions and put in the comments that it’s part of the total charge. Wonderful app until last updateI’ve used this app as a checkbook for several years. It’s easy to use and me favorite checkbook app I’ve used in my time with a smartphone checkbook. The last update places ads before you can access your checkbook information, though. This is frustrating as I often need to see a quick glance of my balances. Shame they want to charge you for it ?I was just thinking what a great way this app is to track our budget? then i realized you need to watch adds under settings to add credits to get more free time. So i figure when those credits are gone then if I don’t subscribe, I wont have any minutes left. also theres a limit on how many budgeting charts you get that they didn't disclose. you have to watch an add for a few credits there too. Great Mobile Checking BookThis app was great for what I needed. I was looking for an app that would replace my checking book so I could be more accountable for my money. It’s easy and fast to put transactions in, both expenses, transfers, and incomes, and I love the categories that make it so easy to sort your transactions. I Love This AppThis app helps me keep track of everything and is very user friendly. It’s userface is very simple and self explanatory. I use it to set my budget for the month; it lets you put in your bill amounts, then you can ☑️ whether that expense has cleared. LOVE this app!!!Super user friendly!! For 10 years I used an app called PocketMoney. I loved it until they updated everything and it was suddenly not user friendly AT ALL. I started out my new year with this app and am very pleased so far!! Great except one tiny issueUnder the utility section you have water trash etc. but like if you were paying your electric bill it says electronics not electric or electricity LOL. Other than that great. And maybe under one of those headings when I take money out of the ATM I just put it under Personal because there’s really not something to choose from. Account NameThis is a very good app. The only issue I am having with the app is that once you set up and name the account you cannot go back and edit that name. If you try to edit the name, and click in that field, a date field shows up for you to change the start date. Great appI have been pretty happy with this app. I think that it is easy to use. I gave it four stars because I think that a great improvement would be to be able to split purchases between categories. So you get a more accurate assessment of where your money is going. Good not greatThis app is not very user friendly but it works if you are willing to play with it a bit until you know it. I am a little annoyed you are only able to use it to track two accounts (no more) which almost defeats the purpose of having it at all (who only has two accounts?). The only problem I have is I cannot find where to turnoff or delete a recurring charge or if I post a transaction in error no way to delete. Will never use paper register againI am able to manage multiple accounts at the same time. I use the recurring transactions for both automatic deposits and withdrawals. Works great. Good but...It's good. It shows every account status you enter without asking for account numbers and going online. A minimal change I would prefer is that in the transaction tracker it shows the merchants names but the category (shopping, entertainment)is in bold so it's the first thing your eye is drawn to. the first thing I prefer to see is the merchant name.JixsenVersion: 3.0.1

I have the free version, so it is limited on catagories ( I think the pay version has more), so that is my only critique. Needs a look ahead featureThis is a great checkbook app, but is missing the most important feature to me - a look ahead feature for recurring transactions. If it had this feature it would be 5 stars! Getting paid bi-monthly and having bills paid automatically, they don’t come out right at payday. Great until….This app was great until it started dropping transactions that I had entered into the check register. This has been a random occurrence since when I go to reconcile my account daily. I noticed I was off by $800 which is not something that happens. And it was the bank having more money than me, which is definitely not a normal occurrence. It turned out that 1 deposit and expense that I entered in early July somehow disappeared. However, since I did not know that that could be the problem, I was pulling my hair out, trying to find where I was off. The other thing I notice is if you change a reoccurring transaction, it applies the change retroactively. So you have to create a whole new reoccurring transaction if the amount changes for the same supplier. I may be switching to QuickBooks because I’m finding too many bugs that are just driving me nuts.PJD91360Version: 8.0

I actually upgraded to paid versionUpdate. Revised from 5 to 1 stars. I loved it until I put in recurring transactions. I looked everywhere and there was no way to change this. 1. You either have to show ALL recurring transactions or it won’t enter. If you put in a car payment as recurring it will show All 36 payments or none. 2. You cannot edit recurring payments without creating a duplicate payment🥸. So if you enter a recurring car payment for 36 months. It doesn’t just add the next payment, it adds 36 months of payments. If you go back and change from $205 to $204 - you now have 2 payments for 36 months. You have to delete each one individually. The balance reflects a negative because it shows 3 years of car payments. I did this for a years payments before I realized. Starting over again - WITH ANOTHER APP! —————— I never pay for apps and could have used the free version even longer. After a few days I just liked the free version so much I splurged for the .99 . The free does what you need without forcing you to get fancy with reports I don’t really need. I just want to keep track if my stuff so I don’t overdraw. Can add multiple accounts and recurring transactions. Easy to read display. Ads are not intrusive.Uma2000Version: 6.0

What I would change about this appThis has happen to me several times and it has thrown my checkbook out of wack. So let’s say I previously used a parent category or something for an entry. Days later I go and delete a bunch of parent or child categories because I want to clean up my list cause there’s too many. What happens is that by deleting a category the entire entry is deleted therefore throwing my check book completely off. This is very frustrating! It shouldn’t matter if I deleted a parent category the entry for either deposit or expense should remain on my checkbook. I’m just deleting the icon it shouldn’t delete my entire entry!! This is a huge problem and I hope it can be changed or I’ll have to find another online check book to use..H11c11Version: 5.0

Missing some obvious featuresThe app is okay but lacks some key features. When you go into an account it shows “cleared balance” then “outstanding items” and then “cleared balance” again, instead of “available balance.” This drives me crazy and makes no sense! I emailed the developer about this telling them it was repetitive and missing key information (available balance!) and they didn’t think it was important to show available balance on the account page. So you have to exit to the main page in order to get this info. When you enter a payee it doesn’t save the payee for later use, so you have to type out the same payee every single time. Very tedious and annoying. The app doesn’t show a running balance. I like to pay all of my monthly bills at one time and it’s super helpful to see what remaining cushion I have in my account as I enter the transactions. Yeah, that doesn’t work with this app. I’m done with this app. I found a free competitor of theirs and am now using that app and am very happy..App97Version: 2.3.1

App calculations are offThis was my favorite app but now every time I make a change and back it up to iCloud (I back up my changes every night), it shows back up in my transactions. I have removed one transaction multiple time and it keeps coming back. Also, my balance will be off sometimes by a dollar or 2 and I have to keep on making adjustments. When I check my cleared transactions, the extra deduction is nowhere to be found. Something has to be done to fix this, it sounds like a bug is affecting the software..MsB2U87Version: 7.0.4

Simplicity goneAdding a transaction used to be easy. Used to pop up stored payees by typing a few characters. It keeps pleading with me to make changes to MY settings. Hate that I have to scroll all the way to the right end to go to my most common used account. Really hate that it shows all transactions from different accounts together on same page. New look screwed it up.When I first got this, I hated it. It’s grew on me though and I was ok with it. The recurring payments was a pain but sealable. I’m back to hating it. Resent update really screwed it up. Recurring doesn’t auto fill at all now and if you put it in it adds in many months worth. It won’t lock anymore. And the whole format is just not right. Used to be goodThis used to be a good app, but recent changes in the UI made it very awkward to use. The decimal point is hit or miss when I press it (very bad in a money app) and paying monthly just to balance my checkbook is a no go. I have since moved on to a better, simpler app that serves my very, very basic needs which basically involve creating a few accounts for my credit cards and transferring money to them virtually inside the app to insure the money has been set aside so I don’t accidentally spend it..KilooneninerVersion: 7.0.4

Was a good appThis was a good app till it started some how adding the wrong balance. I’d have it balanced one day, enter rent and some how had close to $1,000 after that. Deleted the rent to see if it would go back, nope whole new balance after that. Before that a few days ago went to balance it again, some how it added $300 after a few days ago being the right balance. I have had this app few about a year. Terrible!I’ve been using this app for almost 5 years without any problems. 2 weeks ago it updated to the new layout and nothing worked correctly. It’s now very difficult to navigate compared to the old version. I had several automatic payments set up and 2 different bank accounts loaded.
