WHAT DO PEOPLE SAY ABOUT US?
“You actually learn fun math facts and fill gaps when you compulsively reach for your phone. Useful app!” — KellyR.
“Hands-on app to improve your financial literacy, the lessons are practical and fun!” — AlvesT.
“This app has taught me how to understand abstract art. It’s truly eye-opening and easy to digest.” — Josel.P
“Nibble is top-notch to learn on the go! I like the probability lesson, it’s really practical and easy to follow.” — Isikatony
"The lessons are quick, fun (the Egyptian section with the tweets between the gods made me and my 12-year-old chuckle), clever - and genuinely interesting. My kid and I will go through lessons together - it’s interesting enough to keep his attention, and I’m learning new things too. Not too advanced for him, or remedial for me. I’ve enjoyed all the lessons - logic (the infinite hotel theory was great), art, math, and history. It is indeed much more enjoyable than doom scrolling. I encourage you to take a chance, I’m hooked. Please keep the new lessons coming!" — BustedKate

HOW DOES IT WORK?
After you decide to learn with Nibble and download the app, you can choose a subscription plan most suitable for your goals.
The Nibble subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (each month, 3 months, year, or otherwise, depending on the selected option) until you cancel. Canceling your subscription means the automatic renewal will be disabled. However, you will still have access to all your subscription features for the remaining time of your then-current period.
If you start a free trial, you will be automatically charged a price indicated on the payment screen for a chosen subscription period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the free trial.
Note that deleting the app does not cancel your subscriptions.

Nibble: Your Bite of Knowledge Positive Reviews
Someone made my dream app!So, as a fellow app developer and a wannabe history buff, nibble is my dream app. The UI is intuitive, clean, simple, and modern looking. I love the interactive, fun, and easy to follow interface and design for how the lessons are set up. It’s the right amount of clicking and scrolling. I don’t like scrolling so much that it feels like I’m just on a webpage, so I love the progress bar and the interactivity makes it really fun, I have yet to find myself becoming bored and going back to Tiktok or Instagram. I wouldn’t change a thing, but I wish there were more lessons and more variety of topics to learn about within a subject. For example, I love history but I’m interested in specific periods like American history but I specifically love the 18th century. I also wish there was a search feature so I could search for those topics I’m interested in. Overall, love this app so much and really looking forward to integrating it into my everyday routine. Really jealous I didn’t come up with it first :D <3 But it desperately needs more content! I want the American revolution, the French revolution, the seven years war, basically more specific content. Also, geography, and specific figures would be cool. Like a lesson on Napoleon. Just needs more content. But it’s a great app. Good job app developers!!!.KaceybeanieeVersion: 5.8.0
One annoying factorDownloaded and subscribed to try to have a bit more of a productive time when idly scrolling in my phone/killing time.
One thing that bothered me is that the lessons are kinda broken down into different pages, each page with a few sections that advance via “continue” buttons or occasionally a quiz question. This makes sense if you’re sitting down and plowing straight through one.
Where my gripe comes up is that if you put your phone down for a second and let the app go idle, it will give you a kinda “Welcome back” screen for the lesson you’re on. However when you click “continue”, it will automatically advance you to the next page in the lesson, even if you haven’t scrolled down and read all the sections of the previous page. You can go back to scroll through them but if you were in the middle section of a page or at the last know you have to click through the continue/questions to get back to where you left off each and every time. I set my phone down towards the end of the last section of the last page, and when j clicked continue on the idle screen it took me to the “lesson over” page.
Otherwise app seems fine so far but in the setting of a football game where there’s commercial breaks and other distractions frequently, it becomes a more annoying feature that it kinda automatically advances you through the lesson..NothsajVersion: 3.11.0
Easy To Understand (Mom Brain)I’ve been focusing on rebuilding my memory since my last pregnancy + PPD. This app makes it super easy to learn. Tailored to MY way of leaning. I’m just so forgetful now and have been struggling to memorize things. Which worries me because I used to be extremely sharp (I was called human calendar prior to pregnancy) but now I just feel all over the place. This app makes it easy to follow along and memorize things. A bonus — I get to learn new things along the way. I used to be a personal trainer/health coach and studied human anatomy but I feel like I cannot remember much on the subject. This game offers human anatomy subject! I’ve been so sad that I’m losing everything I’ve learned in life but this game is giving me hope! I’d definitely recommend. I may have ADHD now (it feels like it because I have 100 open tabs in my brain at once) but again, this game is perfect - short descriptions, pictures, no extra stuff. Just what’s needed to help you understand the subject..Maraj87Version: 9.0.0
Can’t hate on this app .-.Honestly i’ve seen some really bad reviews on this app and i think people are just being too critical about it. Here’s my opinion, honestly as a history nerd i absolutely LOVE this app, it is so interesting and definitely has a modern take on learning. They have such interesting info and so many funny ways they incorporate facts into the learning. I downloaded this app because i was so bored and couldnt sleep one night and i found myself immediately hooked. I do understand not everyone wants to pay for an app but just do the 7 day free trial to try it out and see if its for you. the hateful reviews on here literally are just mad because they want a FREE app… like i said i understand you don’t want to pay but don’t hate on the app because of your own decision to not want to pay for it. anyways this app is really fun & definitely just try the 7 day free trial, nothing to lose there! :).UcugfgfffVersion: 5.5.1
A fun way to learn the basics!I’ve really been enjoying this app actually, even though I was skeptical downloading something advertised on Instagram.
The learning style is pretty creative, using pictures, jokes and interaction to keep you engaged. I think it does a good job of teaching—relating subjects to modern times, and being pretty cheeky too. The lessons are just short enough, anything longer and I would start to lose interest.
Ways to improve:
I feel like the interactive/quiz parts are pretty weak. Most of the time it’s just multiple choice, or sliding a scale to reveal something in a painting. It would be cool if it offered actual quizzes after the lesson, along with the “important takeaways.” I was hoping to get a good art quiz, since I find it really hard to differentiate the artists.
I thought it was strange in one of my art lessons when they went off on a tangent about eco-warriors or the climate people who throw stuff on art. Like, we all get annoyed with those people, but is this really what I’m here to learn about? Felt like they were airing out their grievances in the lesson.
My only other critique is that sometimes the language isn’t quite right. It just doesn’t flow or make sense. For a minute it had me questioning if the app was made by AI or something.
Still, if you are willing to pay (not much) for the app, I’d say it’s very much worth it! Thanks to the developers.PissedoffromanticVersion: 4.2.0
Amazing Learning App!I only just downloaded this app and the sole reason why I give it four stars instead of five is because of the subscription but it’s still affordable and super educational! My plan was to go to college but it ended up not working out because I got disabled so I have to worry about medical debt instead of student debt. The thing is I was planning on getting a degree to mostly further my knowledge because I love to learn. With me not able to go to college I just found this app and am loving all the different features available for you to learn for almost every learning style including quizzes, games, videos, reading, and audio as well.
Tl;Dr. Super cool and educational app, just wish it were free but the subscription is at least cheap.
Thank you to this business who made it easy for me to learn again, and get to choose what topics I learn about. I am so grateful 🙏.OllysRosesVersion: 9.12.0
About 2 weeks of usingI started using this app about two weeks ago. I like that the lessons are truly bite sized, 10 minutes or less, and include some interactive lesson features. The only thing I would like to see is that it’s easier to access the last page of the lesson after completing the lesson. I love that they include a final slide to summarize the lesson. I wanted to go back to review that final page, but in order to get to it, I had to go through the whole lesson. I think it would be cool to have a feature that collated all of the summary pages for the lessons that you complete. That way, you can quickly review the lessons you have read in the past. If you want to do the lesson again, there could be a link to the full lesson. I would just like to be able to quickly review the lessons so I can actually retain the information from the lessons..FifiSmashemVersion: 9.6.0
Fun and educational for the busy person on the goI really enjoy this app. If you love to learn but don’t have a lot of time on your hands like me, you’ll enjoy this app. However, it’s not perfect. For example, last I checked there’s no search feature within topics. Like I can click on history but I can’t search for a specific country. There’s also some issues with certain lessons. But not to the point where it ruins the educational value or fun, it’s small things. Which is why I really appreciate the fact that after every single lesson you can give feedback! Only issue with that is, there’s a bug where you can’t actually see your words as you type because the keyboard covers that part of the screen. But even with the minor issues it’s still really wonderful and I highly recommend!! And I’m soo happy they added a biology section too.Katie72590Version: 4.13.0
Not enough contentGreat content presentation for art but it is not enough to call it a course. I completed the art section in an hour. Would have gladly bought the subscription if the developers had a content plan in place but there is no promise for the lessons to be added. The existing lessons cover as little as 4 art styles and a few painters. The composition and perspective pieces were really good but there is much more in this domain which was not covered.
I disagree with the reviewers who complain about the information being too brief and basic - for me it was more important to get the canvas than being buried under a plethora of details. There are a lot of free apps where you can read about a select topic in depth.
Conclusion: the developers should have a content plan in each field (art history, math, philosophy etc) so that people know why they pay 90$ for the year subscription if the whole app content at the moment can be studied in a couple of days..Irina0o0Version: 4.0.0
Content Ok, Interface Ok, Notifications BadI like the app well enough. The interface took longer to sort through and get familiar with than I would expect from such a simple app. Additionally I really didn’t like that it wouldn’t automatically take you to a module you had started but hadn’t completed when you first open the app. That being said I like the modules, the pace of the content, and the amount of information in each lesson. Biggest gripe is how many notifications it sends over the course of the day. I don’t want to be reminded multiple times a day when I’m at work and need to be focused on other things. However I do want at least one notification, say, in the evening if I haven’t remembered to spend some time on it. Ideally a person would be able to choose the frequency, time of, and conditions needed to be met for a notification to be generated. If this functionality existed I’d give it 4 stars..Caleb the Bean StalkVersion: 6.5.1
Good in concept, only good for introductory knowledgeUpon seeing an ad, I was very excited to see something that could help me refresh my education in biology as I consider going back to school.
The app is cute, and more engaging than a regular article, but the information was extremely basic- I ended up skipping ahead to the quizzes, getting every answer right, then seeing that there are only a few lessons and they don’t go past the 8th grade level. While they weren’t my main interest, I had similar issues with art, history, literature, etc.
I know the app is expanding on lessons, but at this rate I believe it would need at least another year of development before it’d be worth it for me.
I would recommend this app if you are looking for introductory knowledge..Eat bugs 4 breakfastVersion: 6.5.1
SkepticalFirst off, I downloaded this initially because the ad said, “Learn Biology.”
Biology is not one of the offered courses.
Secondly, during the setup process, after choosing a plan, it goes from (hit this button to) “Continue” (or “Next” or similar) to the button suddenly adding a paid feature.
If you’re not super careful, you’re liable to end up getting charged another $20-$40 for “add-ons” you don’t want, with NO confirmation or, “Add this feature?,” check before it charges you, and it’s “not their policy” to refund “purchases made on our website.” It was via the app, not the website, but who’s counting?
I paid for three months and that’s fine (but had to contact paypal to get the other *way too easy to hit by mistake* charge back for a feature I didn’t want). I’m going to use it. The first section I did was interesting. But it is very unlikely that I’ll renew.
Things with this app are just a little too shady and suspicious; Bait and switch. Changing buttons so you buy things you don’t want by mistake. Refusing refunds for said mistakes unless you get a “higher authority” involved.
Not a great start. Nor a good look.
The content is interesting. But… idk. Use your judgment. Watch what buttons you’re hitting during setup. Yeah. Just be cautious.
This has potential, but something just seems… off, at this point..SeaGlassFoxenVersion: 4.0.0
Early Days, but I’m impressed! So far I am enjoying the bite-sized bits-of-knowledge approach the app uses. The learning concepts are presented with enough depth to make them readily accessible, even to someone with no prior experience with the particular subject matter, yet they are concise enough that, if you wish, you may easily follow up your learning on your own to obtain a more in-depth understanding. The app is fun to use and user friendly, a bit like having an interactive version of a highly distilled “for Dummies” book at your fingertips. Total Disclosure: I’m a huge fan of “for Dummies” books, which I often use when getting started on an area of inquiry with which I am unfamiliar. The app however is more focused and targeted than a book, which makes my progress much faster and enjoyable..John_3:16Version: 4.0.0
Free Trial? Nope. Went straight for the paid version of this inventive masterpiece.Nibble is an interactive, helpful, and exciting way to learn, no matter your age. The app is set up to allow you to curate your own learning program by filtering through several selections on topics and interests. Its a great way to get what you want in one place while still getting a mix of topics and information.
I loved the way the lessons were delivered like hand written notes for an in person class. It was super fun and clearly the design was well thought out. After I finished the first lesson, I reflected on the information and realized how easily it was to retain.
While my hopes were already high for this app, I was truly blown away by the thought and effort put into this development. Excellent job!.CPear17Version: 6.5.1
Mostly goodSo far, I have enjoyed the app and the content it has to offer. However, there are a couple things I would like changed for a more enjoyable experience.
- There are grammatical errors sprinkled throughout the app. While this largely does not impact my enjoyment of the content, I would like this to be addressed
- You cannot see if you have completed any given lesson on the for you page. Your library lists the ones you’ve done, but I would like for them to disappear from the for you page once you’ve completed them or have a visual indicator such as a check mark. Additionally, when you click on a lesson you’ve completed before, it continues as if you’ve never done that lesson before
- I would have liked to be able to complete one lesson before being prompted to either begin a free trial or subscribe at a discounted rate. I nearly deleted the app instead of subscribing because I couldn’t get an idea of what the content is like before committing to something.
- If you exit out of the app, your lesson progress is not saved and you start from the beginning of the lesson.
Besides these issues, I have enjoyed the app and plan to continue using it..Leslielane1447Version: 5.3.0
Nibble — Feedback on the applicationI have not gotten into all the applications offered, in the Nibble application; however, I can share what I’ve learned using the application for two days after purchasing the application. It follows:
The Nibble application for art I rate as 4 stars. Even though I am very familiar with art periods, artists and art medium I have learned additional things that I was unfamiliar with. That said, I would give the application a five star rating.
The reason I give a four star rating is that I learn best with interactive learning. There is some of this on this application, but I would like to see more because this is my preferred learning style.
Would I purchase this application again if I knew there was less interactive content? The answer is yes, because there is a lot of details I was unaware of that learned as I took each lesson.
I feel like the people that produce this application are very open to feedback and I’m sure they will get more interactive portions of the app for people that prefer learning using interactive content!
I would highly recommend this application for people that want to learn more about the various subjects that are offered..Walkin JoVersion: 5.4.0
ADHD friendly🥹I am not one to usually leave a review for any product that I order or app for that matter, because I tend to struggle with putting into words what I think.
This app makes me feel ✨seen✨ - it truly does. I love the use of their charming animations that gleamed with bright moving colors - I could not look away (literally). Even when I had to go back to prior pages or reread a sentence, I felt as though I was being drawn back to the text (I typically just stop reading altogether once I have to reread a sentence after 3-4 times because I get bored), but ALAS Nibble fully caught and kept my concentration throughout the entire biology lesson.
Simply put, Nibble is ran by Wizards🧙♂️ who fully captivates the minds of knowledge seekers..ALML1994Version: 5.8.0
Love the idea, recommend adding widgetsAs someone who is no longer in school, I really like the fact that I can gain general knowledge in topics I don’t come across on the day to day, like philosophy and history. Since the idea is to lower the barrier of entry as much as possible in accessing these “nibbles” of knowledge, I recommend adding a feature in the app where users can place a widget on the phone screen which updates periodically, like 3 times a day or something. So even when we pick up the phone to do something else, we would glance at each nibble multiple times before they refresh, which can create passive absorption. Duolingo and Facts have widgets, and they really help me keep using their apps consistently..Beryl H.Version: 8.10.0
Pretty Cool App nglThis app is the exact type of app that i’ve been looking for. Random knowlege bites that actually get you thinking. The animation and graphs they have help you understand better. The concepts and lessons that I am getting (i’ve only done 1 so far) are actually interesting. For example, I just did a lesson on Survivorship Bias and it showed me an example of the bomber planes that came back from WW2. It shows you how some logic that you think would be ideal, is actually not 100% idea and that you have to look at things from a different angle. It shows what repairs you should make on a bomber plane so that it can survive another flight. Very interactive too. I like this app a lot so far.ShshehfncidnsnsVersion: 5.8.0
SponsorshipHey nibble team; I appreciate you movement for making people more aware about the world and making them sharper rather than scrolling through social media;I have seen your add and it explains why and the motive; I am totally down with that;As a fellow human being who loves logic and reasoning I would have paid for the full experience but sadly i live in Ethiopia (Africa); And We don’t have payment system to facilitate the process;And I currently don’t have that amount to pay for the app;If its okay with the team i would love if you grant me the access;
Other than that keep up the good work guys; May God Bless your work; And Have Salvation In The Name Of The True God Jesus Christ Our Lord And Savior: Amen My Beloved; ☦️🖤.T1mmyrqVersion: 4.7.1
Perfect substitute for scrolling, phone fidgetingI was looking for something to replace my scrolling and *unamed AI language app* which I was using to keep me sharp. I love this so so much. I’ve been working for a while to reduce the impulse to pick up my phone and scroll and what I’ve learned is it’s not really enough to cut yourself off, you have to provide yourself with healthy alternatives and I think this really fits the bill.
That being said, please PLEASE don’t make some crazy choice to start making the app content with AI (although it feels like some of the images are?) A lot of the appeal here is how well built and written the lessons are, and a robot isn’t going to do that..Like a logVersion: 7.10.0
Why should you pay to learn? [READ THIS BEFORE DOWNLOADING]I put this at 5 stars so it won’t be buried by other ratings. i bought this app to burn time and help me learn more about my passion: art. in the beginning of getting started it was great , it had a nice amount of interactive questions for your learning path. then afterward it gave you the “option” to pay for a monthly/ yearly trial; and you can’t even continue on a basic course of the app, you HAVE to pay to use. so i’d recommend to read this before you download, if you want a app to help you reduce stress or for it to be a nice, free time consumer while also expanding your knowledge, i wouldn’t recommend this app..444foureyesVersion: 3.0.0
Worth it!I’ve literally never given an apple review but I LOVE this app so much. I teach 4th grade so my history knowledge over the years has faded since we don’t get to do much other than the rev war and some government topics. The lessons are super easy to follow and offer so many great nuggets of information, things you wouldn’t have read from your old school textbook. It also makes super cool connections to modern day things like makeup, travel, social senecios, and everyday things we don’t think twice about. Honestly, for the price of 3 coffees this app is so worth it, especially if you’re not a history buff but want to grow your mind and trivia/history skills!.Smhardy97Version: 9.10.1

New user not an influencerJust downloaded this app as it came up on an Instagram add and I’m going back to school so thought WHY NOT I’m bored lol….also it reminded me of Duolingo but for other subjects and honestly that is EXACTLY what it is !! Soo far I’ve done a couple of lessons and REALLY enjoyed it, I think this app is quite useful and fun. It’s set up the same as Duolingo, interactive games/ lessons to get people learning…. Tbh I think it’s the same concept /computer engineers as Duolingo, some of the styles of icons are beyond similar…. just its not for language but science, finance, philosophy, art, English, math etc. Sooo I love it so far / will continue.CheesegcjsVersion: 4.17.0

Nibble: Your Bite of Knowledge Negative Reviews
Predatory practicesI recently had the opportunity to explore the Nibble application, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. After dedicating a considerable amount of time completing a setup test, I was met with a surprise subscription requirement. This ranged from $10 to an astonishing $60. What's more frustrating is the inability to bypass this subscription prompt. There's no option to simply close it and proceed to use the app freely. This approach feels misleading. If an app requires payment or subscription, it's only fair for users to be informed beforehand, not after they've invested time and effort. This kind of business practice, where developers entice users into a subscription model with the hope they forget to unsubscribe, feels predatory. While I understand the need for monetization, transparency is key. Luring users under the pretense of a free experience only to hit them with unexpected costs is not a practice I can endorse. Many users, including myself, appreciate straightforwardness. If there's a cost associated, state it upfront. Don't make users jump through hoops only to hit them with hidden fees. It's about respecting the user's time and choices. I'm giving this app a single star, but if the option were available, I'd rate it negative five stars. Such practices should not be normalized in a society that values transparency and respect. Developers should prioritize providing value to users, not just extracting value from them..Lebed2045Version: 3.3.1
Misleading, for more reasons than one.I downloaded this app from the advertisements on social media—advertisements featuring lessons on biology, which is a primary interest of mine. Not only are there no lessons on biology, there are none on any field of science. I understand that the application is still in its early stages, and that the developers will likely add more subjects of education as the interest in the app increases, but the advertising was misleading, and therefore immensely disappointing.
Another issue that I had besides the very limited course availability was the subscription model. Generally, these kinds of apps have limited free content before you are prompted to subscribe to a yearly fee for additional access. This app has none of that; you are not even able to try out the app without signing up for a subscription, which was very disappointing. I believe that this app would have more success if it was not promoted as free to use, when that is so evidently not the case.
Overall, I believe it is a very interesting and useful concept that has been poorly executed. Instead of immediately prompting the user to subscribe, the developers should offer a free variety of lessons to hook the user on the app. I would love to try this in the future if it is made more accessible and the variety of subjects is increased! :).Eden 🙂↕️Version: 4.9.0
Misleading advertising & little contentOkay concept, but it doesn’t let you search. Content/graphics clearly AI generated. It was advertised to me specifically as being a way to learn botany, but I can’t find anything but like Intro to Biology and Intro to Philosophy. These are fine if they’re not things you know already but I would like to be able to build on an extensive existing education too w/o learning about Stoics for the 50th time (I literally teach on stoics but would love if there’s a lesson or two in here to brush up on my Hegel?). Maybe I’m not the target audience but I wish they’d been clearer on who the target audience is. To add to that, big red flag: it pushes membership on you after doing one of those extensive “answer questions about you and in response we advertise each facet of our app” intros that a lot of expensive therapy and ADHD management type apps do to make you feel invested/sunk cost fallacy. Scammy seeming. Then once it starts hitting you with “special offer” after special offer on premium membership, the price actually decreases each time. Sketchier (hopefully someone has posted what the minimum you can get it to is.) Then, once you buy premium and think “ahh, I’ve gotten past the monetization,” you immediately start getting NEW special offer popups for like “pay us $20 to unlock these infographics!” Twenty dollars. For infographics. In an app that claims it can teach you about personal finance & has a lesson on why not to trust discounts, sales and markdowns. K. Misleading subscription statusThis app bothered me in a few ways. Firstly, the ads I saw for this app led me to believe there were zoology lessons included, but as far as I could tell most of the biology lessons were human anatomy. Not too big of a deal, as that's still interesting, but not what was advertised. Then there's the fact that they make you sign up for a subscription even if you're using the 7-day free trial, hoping you'll forget the subscription and give them a little extra cash. This wouldn't be too big of an issue if their claim that they would remind you of the end of your free trial 2 days beforehand, but unfortunately for me I never recieved this notification. I was unimpressed with the app's content but decided to give it a chance for the duration of the free trial, making a decision to cancel it or not when I got the notice that the free trial was about to end. As I never got this notification, I instead recieved a fraud alert on my card for NINETY DOLLARS, which is an absolutely ridiculous amount of money for what the app offers. I requested a refund, but I seriously doubt that will materialize.
Overall, unimpressive content, predatory practices, and false promises. 0/10.Grayson156Version: 5.10.1
I wish I hadn’t paidI got it on sale luckily but I still regret my purchase. The graphics are fun and there’s some good stuff, but it doesn’t show me all the lessons. For example, in the beginning quiz to find my interests I said I was interested in Egypt, Greece, Rome, China, Israel, multiple ancient civilizations. In the history category, it gave me a decent amount on Egypt, like 5 Greece lessons (none of the gods or anything though) and 3 Rome lessons and nothing else. I have been trying to communicate with their support team, and they take forever to respond and don’t actually read what you say. In my message I provided this feedback (inability to see all lessons) and also asked how to see said lessons, and they basically just said thanks for the feedback let us know if you have any more questions without answering my question (and have still not responded when I asked again). It sounded so good in theory but not well done unfortunately. I guess I have it for the year but I definitely will not renew unless it gets exponentially better over that time..Nickym0829Version: 3.10.0
Deceptive Cancellation Practices, Eventually Got Money BackI got a notice a month ago that my subscription was going to auto-renew, so I went to the Nibble website to cancel my subscription. After I clicked cancel, the site asked me if I had time for a quick 2 minute survey. I did not, so I went on with my day. To my surprise, this morning I was charged $82 for another year of an app I did not enjoy (I think Skillshare and Imprint are better). It turns out that survey is mandatory — if you don’t complete the survey, you haven’t officially canceled your subscription, and they don’t give refunds.
Nibble shouldn’t present the survey as optional if it’s a mandatory step is canceling your subscription — that seems deceptive and unfair. If you want to keep your customers, you should do it by having a worthwhile app, not by making it hard to cancel subscriptions.
Update: they did finally refund my money after I said I was going to contact the Better Business Bureau. I still think they need to fix the cancellation process to make it more clear..MegMeg42Version: 8.1.0
Uses AI and is misleadingI was really excited to see this app as a pre-law student majoring in literature, but I found it very misleading. You can’t do ANYTHING on this app unless you pay for it, so the install just sits there. I decided to bite and give the free trial a shot, only to find myself completely appalled- the app uses AI-generated photos (and likely other components) to skirt around copyright laws without being sued. The lesson I did was on Hamlet and included an AI picture of Simba from the Lion King as well as Chewbacca holding what I can assume to be C-3P0’s head as a reference to Hamlet’s soliloquy.
The use of generative AI, especially for something like this (where you could absolutely use photos from the actual franchises under fair use law), is a direct contradiction to everything this app claims to stand for. Generative AI is killing the arts and discouraging young people from learning, and using it to run an app that claims to be all about these things is a huge slap in the face. Hire an artist if you’re truly so concerned. I cancelled my free trial within ten minutes and won’t be returning..Lyssjonesy45Version: 6.0.0
Refund process extremely difficult and seemingly on purposeI recently downloaded the app after coming across an ad on Instagram. The initial quiz that I did on the Instagram browser led me to a page where I subscribed for three months. It took me seconds to pay, but then the information I submitted did not allow me to log in- my account had never been created.
Frustrated, I downloaded the app separately through the App Store. I had to complete the personality test again, PAY again just to log in, then tried to find the refund button which took me to a lengthy and complicated text page on a browser where I essentially had to copy an email link to the app's support page just to ask for a refund. The support team returned my email after a day or so, asking for an invoice. So I gave them the invoice, and after another 24+ hours I still haven't heard back from them.
Terrible way to do business, plus every part of the app looks like it's AI generated content. Definitely not what was advertised, and I highly recommend that you steer clear of this app..Akan44Version: 8.7.0
Subscription renewal policy is nonsenseI signed up for this app three months back, thinking I would use it and get some good value out of the free trial. However, I logged in once again and found the content stunningly lackluster. I was actually legitimately surprised at how underwhelming the contented self was. And the remaining three months, I didn’t login even once after that first experience. Obviously life with kids in the family gets crazy and I forgot to actually go back in and login and explicitly cancel the subscription, and I got a large bill three months later. I reached out to Nibble asking them to cancel the subscription and undo the charge since I don’t find any value in their product and don’t want to continue. In the email they sent me, it was essentially a lawyered up “terms and conditions We aren’t going to refund you because you agreed refunds are out of the question etc” email. Extremely disappointing, I won’t be back, and I will be very likely to share my negative experience with family and friends with this tool. Disappointed in Nibble..JpcmichiganVersion: 5.6.0
That’s it?!?I wanted to try this app for philosophy. I was pleased to learn about Stoics in a simple, gamified way. Sometimes way too simple. Almost as if they treat you as an elementary school student. But that is not all. They really push you to buy the app. So, I did. I thought if I buy the paid version, it will unlock a lot of content. After all, I am now in for a year. Guess what?! That’s ALL the content they have!!! You can complete the entire app of content in one day! So, they pretend as if you buy subscription. But there is nothing behind it, just a façade. Do not buy. It’s not worth even a little subscription they ask for (when you are not on board with paying after your trial is over, they offer you a huge discount! I definitely recommend not to pay full price, and even fraction of the price this app is not worth it.
Follow up.
They basically locked me in a year long subscription. And they promised new content being added. It’s been more than 6 months, and guess what?! Not one word of new content. This is major scam app. Stay away..AwwwsomenessVersion: 5.6.0
SketchyI signed up on the website to try it in hopes it would help my scrolling. I didn’t realize the 2 pop ups after the subscription were charged services (only one of the windows said it was an additional charge and I only noticed this after they sent screenshots in an email). I requested a refund for the 2 additional services and to keep my $20 subscription because I really wanted to try it and thought this was a cute company with a really good goal. They denied my refund due to their “Terms and Conditions” stating purchases on their website were nonrefundable. We all know companies who genuinely care about their customers would issue a refund for an accident, but clearly they’re just trying to trap people into spending more money. Very disappointed and I hope the company goes in a different direction in the future. Maybe I would give it a try, but until then, be very careful about their pop ups and in-app purchases - you might be being charged for more than you think!.B00tyzillaVersion: 5.10.1
Worth readingNearly 30 questions with yawn-worthy AI in a format that’s overplayed. Then to proceed with a trial, no initial price posted until you click “proceed with free trial” so it’s false commitment, a psychology test that won’t work because people will see the price and think “that was a waste, not doing this”. Yes you’ll get some people who don’t care and will by any app but ultimately you’re actual active user numbers will peak and dip into a valley known as the Law of Diminishing Return. Not only did it waste my time on that pre sign up UX/UI, but now you’re going to have to face the reality that a high bounce rate is everything in marketing and go-to-market strategy. Make this app free for students, make it freemium for the mass population, and make an ad free one that’s $9.99 a month or $99 one time payment. Allocate revenue from ads to sponsor scholarships for students who achieve learning streaks on the app. Create brand awareness on college campuses, trade schools, anywhere people are learning, there’s Nibble. Not worth the money unless you are completely new to the topics available.I’m currently a biology student who spends a bit too much time on my phone during my free time, I got the app for the exact reason it was intended to be used for. Definitely disappointed, it feels limited and slow. I wish there was a greater range of information it covered in regards to biology and finance (the two primary things I wanted to use it for). The price after the free trial is outlandish and predatory. I see amazing potential in this as it explains things in an easily digestible way, I could see it being great for many who have never been exposed to specific subjects presented within the app. Although it does mention it also being for those already within said careers / fields I don’t find it challenging, intense enough, or long enough to spend any money on. I also found some of the information to be a bit inaccurate and very surface level..Dogpuk3Version: 5.6.0
Okay content, poor customer serviceI got this app thinking it would be a great way to learn some new pieces of trivia in my down time. For a short while it did exactly that. It’s an overall well made app that has good lessons on some interesting topics, and it’s easy to follow. For a few days I enjoyed it.
For me, the lessons were too entry level and I quickly grew bored of them so I cancelled. No big deal right? I thought it would an easy cancel and that’s it. Unfortunately that has not been the case… I have tried to cancel three times now and each time I have gotten confirmation that this subscription is over, and then I get charged the next month!
I will probably not get my money back for an app I haven’t used since the start, so please think before you get the subscription! The customer service is a joke, and won’t let you cancel once you buy. So now I have to cancel this through my bank. I hope this will save someone else the terrible experience I’ve had.BMace14Version: 9.14.1
Bought to delete & reviewUpon reading reviews/responses i wanted to urge developers to practice what they preach and prioritize accessibility. Seriously, that’s a high asking price for a new, no name-recognition service, even if it is a cute name. Not even offering a free version, get serious! No one wants trials anymore, it’s twenty twenty four! This is a perfect app to utilize ad revenue, it ain’t the most classy but, everyone except elders have learned to cope with endless ads. it gives us thirty or so forced seconds to look away from our devices. It’s a wonderful idea and it looks very pretty but it really won’t go far with the current model. ………. edit: upon further review investigating, it appears it’s not even all that great of an app! can’t zoom in on paintings? doesn’t save progress if you app hop? typos?! i let the one in the quiz slip even though c’mon, it’s the first bleeping thing you see when you download! again, get serious! nice try, developers!.Game center glitchVersion: 3.10.0
Nibbles your wallet - do not buyMy experience is that: the hoops designed to jump through in order to cancel Nibble, make this app intentionally deceptive. Make sure you read the contract, and all of the clauses; they WILL use them against you.
I was intrigued 3 months ago and signed up for initial trial ($20), if I didn’t use it no worries, I’d cancel the renewal. I ended up not using it much and when I received notice that payment was being processed through PayPal soon for renewal, I tried to cancel.
But when I tried to figure out how to cancel the app renewal, through the vendor link/website… I couldn’t figure it out. The requirements weren’t accessible through ‘my phones settings’ - I couldn’t find anything related, so after :20 I had to drop it, and go to an appointment- planning to return to figure it out. I contacted them through the PayPal link with no response, requesting cancellation help. Payment was processed a few days later and I contacted them immediately, the same day, requesting reimbursement, and cancellation.
‘Support’ Julia replied stating essentially: it’s against their policy, “ Regrettably, according to our Terms and Conditions (clause 5.8), purchases made via our website are non-refundable “ including unintended renewal. They just charged me $40 for something that cost them $0 and I won’t use. I’m a senior on a restricted budget - $40 hurts. Don’t buy, unless you want to be financially Nibbled.TamakajshcVersion: 5.3.0
You cannot do anything on this app without having to pay for it, but it claims you can.You can't do anything on this app without having to pay, even though it claims you can access some content for free. I have tried every single thing it "recommends" to me and yet every time I try to start one of their lessons, I can't go any further until I agree to their "free-trial". It's not that you have to pay, it's that you are told you can access some of the content for free and then are completely unable to access anything without agreeing to their free trial and then eventually paying for it. This is wholly disappointing as a busy student looking to further my knowledge in small chunks as advertised. People download this app because they believe they can use it (not in it's entirety) for free, and are mostly college students who are already struggling to get by. At least be up front about having to pay to access anything on this app..Andy2739Version: 9.3.0
Scratches the surfaceI feel like the app has a lot of potential but it needs more development. The lesson are quick to read through and relatively simple so that you don’t get bored, but I felt like I was bored with this because it was telling me material already know. It didn’t go in to details. It discussed a few main points and moved on to another topic. I feel like your not fully learning the material. You get the basics of what happened or theories and then you move on to another topic. There is no depth to the material; furthermore, the subscription is a bit expensive. I wish there was more depth and a way to quiz your knowledge on certain topics to determine if reading is value added or if simple repetition. The app felt like a waste of time, but I see what the app can become and I hope they add depth, knowledge detection so you only learn what is needed, and cheaper subscriptions..NghaygoodVersion: 6.5.1
DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. NIBBLE IS A PREDATORY, SOUL-CRUSHING SCAM!DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. NIBBLE IS A PREDATORY, SOUL-CRUSHING SCAM DISGUISED AS “EDUCATION.” I signed up for what they slyly call a “free trial,” and within minutes—before I could even blink—they slammed my card with a full charge like a mugger in a dark alley. Surprise! Your “free” trial is a bait-and-switch trap designed to steal your money instantly. No warning, no grace period, just straight-up theft. If I could rate their billing practices zero stars, I’d give them minus a million. Contacted support? Good luck navigating their useless black hole of canned responses while they clutch your cash like Gollum with his precious.
And the content? Oh sweet baby Jesus, it’s an insult to human intelligence. These “bite-sized lessons” feel like they were scripted by a committee of bored kindergarten teachers on heavy sedatives—for actual eight-year-olds. Cartoonish animations, baby-talk explanations of basic concepts, and quizzes that wouldn’t challenge a goldfish with brain damage. I came expecting to spark curiosity as an adult, not regress to finger-painting level drivel about topics dumbed down so far they circle back to insulting. “Interactive 10-minute lessons”? More like 10 minutes of eye-rolling torture wondering how this garbage ever got approved for anyone over the age of 10.0
This app isn’t “expanding your understanding”—it’s a cash-grab parasite sucking money from people desperate for self-improvement while delivering content so infantile it makes me question the entire human race. Buggy, overpriced, deceptive, and utterly worthless. I want my time, money, and dignity back. Avoid Nibble like the plague unless you enjoy getting robbed and talked down to simultaneously. Scammy business practicesBuyer beware: if you no longer want this app, make sure you do more than cancel your subscription. Be EXPLICIT in your email to cancel every single portion of your subscription, as there are parts that won’t automatically be cancelled. For example, I cancelled my subscription and kept getting billed at a lesser rate the following month because I didn’t specify that I wanted all parts (infographics included) cancelled. Then, they supposedly cancelled it but I got billed yet again the following month. I logged into the app which I had not yet deleted and went into my profile to delete my method of payment and it isn’t there. According to the app, I no longer seem to have an account even though my email and password still work, yet I am still being charged. I continue to email them and decided to share this horrible experience so this doesn’t happen to other people. Very scammy..InfuriatedCustomer1MVersion: 9.14.2
Not HelpfulThis has been advertised to me multiple times as a replacement to doom scrolling. This is supposed to help you get out of the addiction of instagram and tiktok. It sounded genius and genuinely got me very interested. The problem is TIKTOK IS FREE. If I am already addicted to doom scrolling subscribing to a weird app isn't gonna help me. I'm addicted to those apps because I am broke and it is easy dopamine hits to scroll without sacrifice. This would be great if they advertised it as something else. It is a good learning app, but the only free thing is the quiz at the beginning. None of their lessons are free. You can't learn anything on this app. I learn more on tiktok and I am trying to stop using tiktok. They basically use their advertising to lie and say it will help you when anyone who actually has a problem with what they're trying to fix it will not help. I like the app, but hate that everything is behind a pay wall. It's useless..StarBoiRSVersion: 6.0.0
SCAM I am a fool for paying for this appBUYER BEWARE… you can’t get help canceling your subscription or getting into your account. My email address is wrong (missing the m in .com) and so I cannot get in to the settings to cancel the subscription. I’ve been emailing their support team for 10 days with only automated responses. I will have to ask my credit card to block the charge, as I don’t expect them to ever respond.
Beyond this, I’m generally embarrassed that I paid for this app. Like others, the long test did what it’s supposed to: Make me feel like I had already invested so much time into the app, i might as well pay $10 to move forward. The content it tailored for me could have been a two-second subject selection. The content isn’t useful or “brain busting.” It’s just general concepts by subject. Surprise upchargesI subscribed to the app for 3 months and after I purchased, there was options for additional up charges. I clicked on one to see what it entailed and it immediately purchased that as well. I asked for a refund the same day but all purchases are non-refundable. How convenient. *Update: since you wanna lie… I emailed support the same day explaining the additional upcharge was a mistake and it was never my intention to purchase it and I didn’t even know what it was. Support said the same thing you’re saying with this response, there are no mistakes etc. Just fix your checkout process to be more transparent, that’s literally all you have to do. If a customer clicks on something, allow them to confirm purchase and even better, let them research what they clicked on before confirming. To make your checkout process like this and then say no refunds even if it’s the same day, is predatory..DCon87Version: 9.14.0
Disappointing and predatory!I liked the concept of this app and so I thought I’d try it out. But I immediately found the content basic and oversimplified and canceled the trial subscription, or so I thought.
Then a few days later I got an email telling me I had been charged for a month subscription. So I went to try and cancel it yet again and asked support to refund me for the month I never intended to pay for. They told me they would not provide a refund, citing a clause from their Terms and Conditions. When I logged in again, my account was still “active”. So I tried canceling my subscription a third time. This time I was finally successful.
If you do get sucked into this thing and later want to cancel your subscription, you have to:
1. click a button to unsubscribe
2. click a second button to unsubscribe in a confirmation modal
3. fill out a feedback form and click a third button to submit that feedback
4. click another button to skip their offer to stay subscribed at a discounted rate
5. click a FIFTH button to FINALLY unsubscribe.
THIS IS PREDATORY APP BEHAVIOR.
If, like me, you close the page when the feedback form appears (which has no option to decline providing feedback), then you haven’t actually cancelled anything and will be charged again in a month..SsschupbachVersion: 4.4.0

Worst subscription cancellation policy and customer service I’ve ever seenI purchased a subscription long ago and thought it would go to my Apple subscriptions as all subscriptions normally do and should because those you can actually monitor to make sure you don’t get charged for a product you’re not satisfied with. It doesn’t, and when a year later I get charged $81 for a subscription I didn’t even know was still active they tell you it’s in their terms of service that nobody reads and that they won’t refund you. Worst policy I’ve ever seen and cheating people to make pay them pay more will only make them lose customers and spread negative publicity about their company so here I am, don’t waste your money there are way better apps with much better learning methods, better knowledge base, better ethics and customer service. MisleadingI downloaded the app thinking it would be really educational and fun, but I have no idea if that’s even true. You can’t do anything without paying first, but they don’t tell you that beforehand. Usually apps have maybe one or two small things that you can do for free to test it out and see that you like it, but that’s nonexistent here. You can’t do anything but waste 5 minutes taking a quiz about what you’re interested in learning and what learning methods help you best. After that, you have to pay to do anything. There’s also not a search bar to type in a specific thing that you want to learn about. The advertising was very misleading. They should specify that there’s absolutely nothing free to test it out before putting your hard earned money in their pockets, and they should specify that you only learn general things and not specific subjects..Meki CatVersion: 5.4.0
